Acts 28

1 And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.

2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

6 Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

7 In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.

8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

10 Who also honoured us with many honours; and when we departed, they laded us with such things as were necessary.

11 And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria, which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

12 And landing at Syracuse, we tarried there three days.

13 And from thence we fetched a compass, and came to Rhegium: and after one day the south wind blew, and we came the next day to Puteoli:

14 Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.

15 And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.

16 And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him.

17 And it came to pass, that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together: and when they were come together, he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

18 Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go, because there was no cause of death in me.

19 But when the Jews spake against it, I was constrained to appeal unto Caesar; not that I had ought to accuse my nation of.

20 For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.

21 And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.

22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.

23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers,

26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,

31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

  1. And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not. And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (‭Acts‬ ‭28‬:‭24-27‬ KJV)

What a place to be at in your life, where your eyes are blinded by the lusts of this world. Truth stands right in front of you,and you reject it. Doubt has allowed you to not believe in the true living GOD.
Salvation knocks on the door of every individual, don’t reject what is being offered to you.

  2. 4. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

I guess this means we still have barbarians today…people that see someone being attacked and yet they don’t try to help, but start throwing accusations.

  3. iLove to eat More Word

2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

This scripture shows us how to show kindness to folks. We are to kindle a fire of the Holy Ghost in the hearts of a cold world. The kindest thing we could ever do is to share the warmth of the Word of God and help them be removed from the elements of the world. Pentecostals of Fort Worth, let’s kindle that fire of Holy Ghost revival.

  4. 26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

It seems at first reading the book of Acts I see and do not perceive and hear without understanding. However, with persistence and prayer I can begin to see more and understand a little more.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Some people may approach the bible with fear or intimidation. Others may analyze it like a textbook or read into it like a storybook. It takes a fresh perspective to be free of the preconceptions that the Bible is just another book on the shelf, a perspective my eyes have been opened to. The Word of God is alive. It desires to be known. It dares you to chase after it, pursue it and immerse yourself within it. So do not take it lightly. Spend time with it. Get to know it. It is complex and mysterious and deserves your time.

  5. “And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appii forum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Paul had strength through many things, but he was encouraged when other that knew and loved him of like precious faith were around. That is why we are not not forsake the gathering of the saints.

  6. 7 In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.
8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

Influence is powerful! Because of influence, Paul is able to stay at Publius’s house. Because of influence, Paul is able to pray with Publius’s sick father. Because of influence, Paul is able to pray with and see many more across the island healed.

Favor with God = Favor with man (some of the time) = INFLUENCE

Because of Paul’s favor with God, he had influence/ favor with man. If we fought to seek the approval of God as much as we do the approval of man, we too would have this kind of favor following us. We too would be able to turn our world upside down.

  7. 31 boldly proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one tried to stop him. (NLT)

Paul was still in the midst of his trial when all of this was happening. People were saved even though he was “bound” by those who did not believe. As long as we know the truth and continue to proclaim the truth, there is nothing the enemy can do to stop us or the word of truth from going forth. We may be going through tough times but we must remember that there are still lost and hurting souls out in the world dying into an eternal lake of fire; how big and scary is your problem compared to a lost souls eternity?

Lord let our eyes always be focused on you, let us always find our trust in You and never cease to proclaim the truth because it’s not only our lives in the balance but so many others who are counting on us to reach them.

  8. A NEW LIFE

They were all saved, must likely felt alive, renewed, a new start at life!!!! When we come to God we are not promised a life without any problems, the perfect representation is that vipers will come out of anywhere, with one purpose in mind to bite us and kill us. We start a new life, but still will rain in the just and the unjust, the vipers will bite no matter what; what is different is that we have a Miracle Working God that is the best antidote for any bite, any sin, any harm that may come our way. Mark 16: 17″These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Now, don’t be ignorant and go picking up vipers just because, do not tempt God. He puts Paul in a position of honor, for his benefit, Paul heals all the sick and as a tribute of gratitude the people make sure they had all they needed to continue their trip. It is the same way now, we must help those around us without interest of what is to come, but knowing that God never let any work go unrewarded. Everything we do, we shall do as unto God, Colossians 3: 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. ONLY GOD CAN REWARD US IN EVERYTHING WE DO. ACCORDINGLY TO OUR NEEDS AND HIS WILL. Take pride in what you do, do beyond of what it is asked, do it to honor God not man. AND ALL YOUR NEEDS SHALL BE FULL FILLED UNTIL YOUR CUP RUNETH OVER.

  9. 2 – 3 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold. And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

It’s always going to get worse before it gets better. The enemy has to give one last attack to ensure your steady. Paul was a prisoner, just saved from a wrecked ship, and now bit by a poisonous snake. However, Paul keeps the victory shakes it off and moves on! How many times have we lost our victory cause of a snake bite? I pray to be more like Paul, confident and victorious.

  10. Don’t lose your Victory!!

Time and time again we claim our victory and are living victoriesly, but then past situations come up and we let it get a hold of us and we lose our victory! When past or present situations come up, no need to lose our victory, just shake it off!!

  11. 1 And when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

We see here a beautiful display of hospitality. The Malta islanders weren’t civilized dignitaries, no, they were described as barbarians. When I think of the word barbarians what comes to mind are cavemen, indians, vikings etc. a savage, wild people. Turns out the definition is “a member of a community or tribe not belonging to one of the great civilizations”. We can be in this world and not be of it (Lev 20:7). You don’t have to be civilized to show hospitality. In fact Apostolics get looked at just like the barbarians: crazy, over zealous, demonstative, loud etc. We have doctrine and a sure foundation to deem us civilized in the manner of religion. Since we are not of this world, nor its world systems like civilizations, they won’t understand our doctrine or ministry until we reach out to them with our hospitality. When it comes to hospitality, outreach, praise and worship I want to be like the barbarians!

  12. Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

And the story continues. The next chapter in the churches history. Yet many Christians don’t realize the we are writing the last few chapters now. Today. This book is almost complete. Jesus is coming.

  13. A FRIENDLY PEOPLE

2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

We witness here in chapter 28 an incredible concept for The POFW to practice every Sunday and beginning this Sunday as we host Friend Day 2015.

The barbarous people were friendly to total strangers. They had never met these people before, there was no prearranged meeting. However there was no questions as to how they would respond.

    MSG
1-2 Once everyone was accounted for and we realized we had all made it, we learned that we were on the island of Malta. The natives went out of their way to be friendly to us. The day was rainy and cold and we were already soaked to the bone, but they built a huge bonfire and gathered us around it.

The natives went out of their way to be friendly to us.

My prayer is that this spirit would saturate the wonderful people at The POFW and we purposefully go the extra step to be friendly to every guest and member at every event involving The POFW.

  14. 7 In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island, whose name was Publius; who received us, and lodged us three days courteously.

8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

Paul just came through the storm where the ship was broken totally up, just survived a snake bite, and now he is given the opportunity to minister to Publius family by praying and healing his dad.

Many people who come through test and trials allow the circumstances to effect them causing them to not be effective. We must always be on guard and ready, instant in season and out of season, so that we might do what we can to minister everywhere we go. We can’t allow our circumstances to dictate our readiness.

  15. 3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

We are able to flick to enemy off into the fire easily because God is greater and the power we receive through the Holy Ghost!

  16. Act 28:26 — Act 28:28
“‘Go to this people, and say,
“You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.”For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
    and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
    and hear with their ears
    and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.”

Sometimes the people that we want to be saved, won’t listen and they will harden there hearts but it’s not up to us who is saved, it’s up to those that receive the Holy Ghost in their hearts and listen with their Spiritual ears. The Holy Ghost calls to those that are yearning and hungry for God. We must continue to preach His Word no matter what.

  17. 27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Just as Bro. Morgan Taught yesterday to receive the Holy Ghost you can not have fear, but you must have faith. you can not beg or God does not hear.
But when a person does not hear, or see, nor understand its because they choose not to.

24-27 Some of them were persuaded by what he said, but others refused to believe a word of it. When the unbelievers got cantankerous and started bickering with each other, Paul interrupted: “I have just one more thing to say to you. The Holy Spirit sure knew what he was talking about when he addressed our ancestors through Isaiah the prophet:

Go to this people and tell them this:
“You’re going to listen with your ears,
    but you won’t hear a word;
You’re going to stare with your eyes,
but you won’t see a thing.
    These people are blockheads!
They stick their fingers in their ears
    so they won’t have to listen;
    They screw their eyes shut
so they won’t have to look,
so they won’t have to deal with me face-to-face
and let me heal them.” (MSG)

Lets repeat what the msg version says they choose to do:
They stick their fingers in their ears
    so they won’t have to listen;
    They screw their eyes shut
so they won’t have to look,
so they won’t have to deal with me face-to-face
    and let me heal them.

And because they can not hear or see us the only way to their revelation is through prayer.

  18. Acts 28:1-2 & 7 (NLT)
    1) Once we were safe on shore, we learned that we were on the island and of Malta.
    2) The people of the island were very kind to us. It was cold and rainy, so they built a fire on the shore to welcome us.
    7) Near the shore where we landed was an estate belonging to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us and treated us kindly for three days.

One commentary says that Malta means “refuge.”
Paul, the centurion, the soldiers, and the other prisoners took “Refuge” and found a place of safety on Malta. The people there showed them much kindness and took care of their needs. (Hospitality)

This Sunday we are having Friendship Day. We need to let our guests fell and know that God and the church is a place of “refuge” and safety for them. We need to welcome them with kindness and open arms. We need to meet their needs.

“Thanking God today that we know that “He is our refuge and strength…” Ps.46:1

  19. 5 But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed. 6 The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw that he wasn’t harmed, they changed their minds and decided he was a god.

Interesting how Paul just shook the snake off. It doesn’t say Paul was angry, bitter or frustrated that a snake had bit him. Paul could have easily said, “enough is enough, I can’t do this anymore”, but Paul patiently shook the problem off. He relied on God to pull him through any trial he was going through. Let’s cast our cares on God, and he will take care of them!

  20. 3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

  21. 2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

Its important to keep the right attitude despite what your circumstances are. You have to keep your faith in God and know that you win in Jesus name!

  22. Acts 28:3 (NASB Strong’s)
3 But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened itself on his hand.

In the last chapter of Acts we see the devil giving at least one more effort to try and prevent the Apostle from achieving his dreams. God had promised Paul some things, and the enemy knew it.

We can’t allow the devil to steal from us our future. The things that leap out at us from the fire God says can be shaken off back in. It’s not that we go through the trial but how we handle it that counts. God wants us to be good soldiers in his kingdom enduring hardness. We may be caught off guard by the viper but we can already have in our minds our response to the enemy!

  23. “For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them”. They would only hear what they wanted to hear, and they would only see what they wanted to see. One need not go far to hear about the sinful and deceptive acts of today, and one need not look far too see every place full; except the house of God (Jesus). Dear God, awaken me, for I must be found hearing and seeing, or I will miss your return; “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done”. “In God we trust”. What a mighty God we serve! Thank God for his word. God bless America, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  24. Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. (‭Acts‬ ‭28‬:‭31‬ KJV)

The gospel will never stop! Doesn’t matter people can deny it but they are looking for something. It’s the truth of Jesus Christ.

  25. nd when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

You never know why someone is going through what they are going through. Assuming anything about someone else is judgement. When we bad things happen to people we cannot automatically assume that they have done something wrong. Sometimes they cannot talk about what is going on so just pray for them. The worst thing you could do is talk about something that you know nothing about. Don’t ruin someone’s reputation on here say. The truth always shakes out in the end and bad things happen to good people.

  26. “But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect.” They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:22-23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

It may be in the oddest situations but God will open Radom doors to allow us to witness to others. Paul saw his opportunity after his long journey and was able to speak before many many people.
We should be a witness everywhere we go.

  27. 28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Thank you Jesus for granting salvation to us Gentiles.

  28. 21 And they said unto him, We neither received letters out of Judaea concerning thee, neither any of the brethren that came shewed or spake any harm of thee.

22 But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.

I never noticed this but the Jewish leaders from Rome ask Paul his thoughts on the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem saying “we know that every where it is spoken against.” Now if everybody is speaking the same thing about you and it isn’t good, well then, other people aren’t likely the problem. Jerusalems leadership was in bad standing with all the other Jewish leaders! It’s sounds to me like some people were in need of self examination.

  29. 26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Be careful little eyes what you fail to see; oh be careful little ears what you fail to hear; oh be careful little mouth what you fail to speak.

Failure to see what God is showing, hear what He is speaking, and say what He gives you will cause great harm. God’s desire is to convert and heal those that are hungry. It just might be that if your not hungry someone around you is?

  30. If God is for us who shall be against us.
“And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:3-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  31. Valentin

8 And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

9 So when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island, came, and were healed:

    Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Paul wasn’t even with Jesus when he spoke these words. Yet his daily experience with God allowed him to develop a amazing faith in God and his power. Revival is not coming, it’s here. We need to tune into what God is doing. We may think these things are for the ordained in ministry of for preachers and pastors. The book of Mark mentions none of these things. There is only one single detain that separates us from the supernatural move of Gods spirit, faith. We have not because we believe not.

    Claudette

31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Hallelujah!!! Preaching and teaching all those things that talk about Jesus to others that no one can take that away from us. It’s time to stand up and continue being the book of Acts and keep believing and putting our eyes on Jesus!!! Even if the devil has many blinded there is still someone who we can cry out to that is alive and will not fail us. Jesus is the answer to everything….let’s keeping pushing and praying for all those souls that the enemy has a bound to them and help them rise up!!! Jesus you are my everything!!!

  32. Paul understood how to spread the gospel. He was not ashamed of telling people about the truth. We must be more like Jesus by showing Godly love to everyone we come across.

  33. “As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand. The people of the island saw it hanging from his hand and said to each other, “A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live.” But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed. The people waited for him to swell up or suddenly drop dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw that he wasn’t harmed, they changed their minds and decided he was a god.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭28:3-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Just like how these people assumed once the man got but he was a murderer is the same as how the devil wants people to instantly think something bad of you, bring up your past to bite you. What we need to do when the devil comes jumping from the bushes is throw him in the fire and tell him to go back where he belongs!

  34. Verses 1-2 MSG “Once everyone was accounted for and we realized we had all made it, we learned that we were on the island of Malta. The natives went out of their way to be friendly to us. The day was rainy and cold and we were already soaked to the bone, but they built a huge bonfire and gathered us around it.” We too must go out of our way to be friendly to everyone we meet. Our attitude and response to people speaks volumes as to whom we belong to and who we serve.

  35. Paul was highly favored by God. He went through storms and overcame them through the power of God. He never gave up. No matter the circumstances God is in control. I give God the glory.

  36. 2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.

We have a great opportunity to show great kindness to our friends coming on friend day. If this are just, like the bible says, “barbarous people”, how much more should us, apostolic believers not show kindness and love to our friends not only on grind day but always.

  37. How many times have you witnessed Jesus Christ, and it was if they were deaf or could not see the revelation that they need him. But, we persevere and go on and witness to those who will hear or see the necessity of salvation by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must convey to the unbeliever that we like them are sinners just like they are, but have been washed by his cleansing blood. They need God’s grace and foregiveness. “To be born again”…………………………………..

In verse “28”, it was prophesied that “US” Gentiles will hear it. So, stand on that word when witnessing for Christ Jesus.

    “Multiply”……………………………………………………………………………………….

  38. In verse 3, Paul is serving. That is what a minister does, serves.
In verse 10, the lord provides for all of their needs through the people of Malta. They had lost everything during the storm so god gave everything back.
