Exodus 35

1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.

2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

4 And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,

5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass,

6 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair,

7 And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,

8 And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

9 And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

10 And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the Lord hath commanded;

11 The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

12 The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,

13 The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,

14 The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,

15 And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,

16 The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.

20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord.

23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.

24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the Lord’s offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

32 And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.

34 And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

  1. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

  2. iLove to Grow More in the Word

    Exodus 35:31 NLT The LORD has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.
    Exodus 35:34-35 NLT And the LORD has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach their skills to others. (35) The LORD has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers.

    Whatever skill we might posses or whatever trade we might have, we must always consider that God is the one who gives us the skill level and wisdom to succeed in the trade. Praise the Lord, this is just another scripture to prove that God is the author of everything…including your job skills.

  3. Verses 20-21 AMP “Then all the congregation of the Israelites left Moses’ presence. Everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit moved him came and brought the Lord’s offering to be used for the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.” This made me think about what Pastor preached last night…..”Then all the congregation of POFW…..” …where our hearts stirred and did we allow the spirit to move us??? Verse 29 says “The Israelites, all the men and women whose heart moved them to bring material for all the work which the Lord had commanded through Moses to be done, brought a freewill (voluntary) offering to the Lord.

  4. 21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

  5. A Willing a heart

    29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    After reading this chapter I have to examine my heart. How willing am I? If Worship is suppose to be from my heart and giving of offering is a form of worship. How willing am I when there is a need and I have the means to meet it. Better yet how willing am I when I don’t have the means?

    God commands “the willing heart” to bring a offering to Him. Yet, a true worshipper delights in serving the King. It is the unwilling heart that serves out of obligation rather than relationship.

    I must also understand that God rejects a unwilling offering. Remember Cain and able? Both gave first fruits but God only accepted one offering.

    Hebrews 11:4
    “By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh”

    Through faith in God Able’a heart somewhere along his journey grew from giving out of being taught to do so to giving out of pure delight.

    Grow in relationship
    Grow in Faith
    Grow in willingness

    In all forms of worship or service to my Father I want to be “willing”

  6. 2 six day shall work be done but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day a sabbath of rest to the Lord : whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death. I always took this verse as that the seventh day should be the day we spend time with the Lord. And thank him for all he has done for us.

  7. 20. And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

    21. And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing…”

    22. And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted…”

    They all left, but not all were willing to come back.
    Lord, I pray that you help me be found among the willing in Jesus Name, Amen!

    Luke 17:17
    And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

  8. Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord : whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass, (‭Exodus‬ ‭35‬:‭5‬ KJV)

    Everyone that had a willing heart, were the ones that made things happen. It’s the Lord who stirs the heart of man. It’s up to the individual whether he will obey the stirring of his heart. Obedience takes sacrifice, surrendering your will(desires) but, it’s what happens when we all work as one in building (growing) His Kingdom, it takes the heavy load off of many, and we all can move forward as ONE.

  9. Exudes 35:26
    And the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats hair.

    We need to give God all the wisdom and are hearts too. Grow with Jesus Amen

  10. “All of the men and women of Israel who wanted to bring offerings to the Lord brought them to him. The offerings were for all of the work the Lord had commanded Moses to tell them to do.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭35:29‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

    I’ve heard it said that “History repeats itself.” And we’re seeing it happen right before us. POFW has this same opportunity today. The Lord has given Pastor a plan to expand His Kingdom. And we as a church body have an opportunity to bring our offering willingly and passionately to him. LET’S GROW!

  11. 2 You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day must be a Sabbath day of complete rest, a holy day dedicated to the LORD. Anyone who works on that day must be put to death. 3 You must not even light a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath.”

    God repeats in the last few chapters, we must rest on the 7th day. As a youngster, I remember several stores would be closed on Sundays. Little by little our nation has gotten farther away from God, and stores/businesses have opened up on Sundays. That’s how the enemy works, take one inch at a time. Convinces people, that work/overtime is more important than going to church on Sunday.

  12. This chapter reminds me of the message last night.
    Just as Moses presented the children of Israel with an opportunity to give towards the building and furnishings of the Tabernacle, the church, Pastor presented us with an opportunity to give MORE towards the building and furnishings of our new church. (IFT, the Chairs and the Squares)
    In this respect, let us be as the children of Israel and bring our offerings to God with Passion (whose heart stirred him up) and Willingly for the building of His kingdom.

  13. THE COMMANDED OFFERING

    The LORD commanded the children of Israel to dig deep in their resources, to be creative with their hands and give sacrificial to the work of GOD.

    A major factor in the offering was a willing heart. Giving gifts to GOD begrudgingly is not giving at all.

    GOD is challenging us at The POFW to consider our resources, the stuff that is I our house, garage, attic or storage buildings and see what we have that we could sell to bring the money for Impacting Our Future Together or to purchase chairs or even squares for the A/V budget.

    GOD is challenging us to use the talents of our hands to build, make or create something that can be sold for the purpose of giving to the building and furnishing of The POFW.

    As we sprint toward the end of Impacting our Future Together lets be sensitive to the voice of GOD and be willing to GIVE whenever and whatever HE speaks to us.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  14. Everyone dong their part.

    We all have a talent and God given ability to do things. For some it is creating a wall of used pallets and burning “Grow” on it; that looks amazing! Others have the ability to be a youth Sunday School teacher with the patience of Job! Do we answer the call when the need arises? Or do we keep our talent hidden and risk our souls when the Master returns?

    Mat 25:29-30 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  15. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    Just as they brought an offering willngly unto God so must we also bring a offering willingly unto God. We have many opportunities to give to God through POFW, and we are fortunate enough to be in a position where we can be blessed of God. Many people do not have this opportunity across the world, so we need to take advantage to the blessiings that God has given us.

    Because we cannot out give God, whatever we give to him, he will multiply it and bless for giving out of willing heart and listening to his voice to what he would have us to give. This week of fasting, we need to draw closer, let’s also use it to help hear God’s voice clearer so he can speak to us in what he would have us to give to the POFW for the ministry of reaching the lost so they can hear God’s word in our communities.

  16. 30-35 Moses told the Israelites, “See, God has selected Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. He’s filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and know-how for making all sorts of things, to design and work in gold, silver, and bronze; to carve stones and set them; to carve wood, working in every kind of skilled craft. And he’s also made him a teacher, he and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. He’s gifted them with the know-how needed for carving, designing, weaving, and embroidering in blue, purple, and scarlet fabrics, and in fine linen. They can make anything and design anything.” (MSG)

    God filled him with the “know-how” and skill to design anything.

    God has filled us the “know-hows” and skills, each of us having a purpose and calling to His Kingdom. If we hide our specific talents and abilities, He will bless someone else with the “know-how”. (Matthew 25:14-30)

    Let’s GROW together and use our “KNOW-HOW” to bless The Kingdom!

  17. God Asks for Willing Offerings
    4. And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying, 5. Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass………

    II Cor.8:12 For if there be first a willing mind,it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

  18. 30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

    31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

    God will give us the skills necessary to do His work

  19. Exodus 35:21

    21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

    Exodus 35:21

    21 Then they came back, every one whose heart was roused, whose spirit was freely responsive, bringing offerings to God for building the Tent of Meeting, furnishing it for worship and making the holy vestments.

    A heart stirred up and a willing mind speaks of passion. The level of excellence given was directly linked to the level of passion. It’s proven that half hearted work is produced by half hearted workers. If you want it done right where others will look on the artistic craftsmanship with admiration then do it with passion.

    Colossians 3:23

    23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

  20. 21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garmeants.

    After listening to Moses give them the commandments of the Lord, the people had their hearts stirred by God to give. In thinking on this, I realize that they had to have an open heart and mind, and a desire to please God. We hear that God doesn’t force people to serve Him, so these people had to have a “want to” to begin with. Then He stirred up these hearts to bring the offerings needed. He calls them wise hearted. We are wise to hear the word of the Lord through our man of God, then worship Him in praise, giving and reaching for others. We have a great need of giving before us and Pastor also showed us we can create & sell something to raise that money to give. Now we must be wise hearted and bring the offerings to the Lord’s house that are needed now.

  21. In this chapter we see a fabulous example of how to willingly give and serve. What an example to follow at such a perfect time!

  22. 1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.

    Moses gathered the congregation of Israel together to let them know what God has commanded they should do.

    The Lord uses us to do his will and if it’s not in your heart to do the will of God then your disobeying his commands.

  23. 5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it…

    The condition of the heart when you bring your offering is more important then what you bring. We can see when Cakn brought his offering the Lord had no respect for it, the reason was it didn’t come from his heart. Able took care of the sheep and nurtured them. He cared for them and loved them. He gave of them to the Lord. He gave from his heart. We could say that the same was for Cain, that he loves the land he gave from BUT there is one problem with that. God knows your heart. When you give an offering God can see through all the makeup and see the condition of your heart. He knows if it really is a sacrifice or not. That is why the two mites that the lady gave were more than the abundant offerings that the rich brought. No one else could have seen but God. Ananias and Saphira is the same story, only God knew. People may not be able to see what your offering really looks like in those envelopes but God does.

  24. 30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

    31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

  25. 31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

    Moses was quick to give the Lord credit in front of the people for the wisdom and knowledge they had been given to work all manner of work.

    People have a hard time understanding that the trade they have learned, the degree they have earned, the knowledge they have obtained to do life is God given. Some feel they have accomplished these things on their own, however, when we read and study the Word, we find that all things come from God….from the air that we breathe every day that gives us life, to the knowledge we use in our trades to bring provision for our families.

  26. May the Lord fill all of us with this blessing as well…wisdom, knowledge, and workmanship.
    “THE SPIRIT OF GOD”………Overfill…Overflow…

    31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
    —————————————————————–
    You know to be given such wisdom, it can save you a whole lot of money. Instead of hiring someone to do the job. But, most people might not want the extra work!

    35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.

    “Remember, to rest on the seventh day”……..

  27. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    Lord, help me to see the things that I can do for you today. To be a willing offering.

  28. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    We must have a willing heart. Listen and hear the voice of God.

  29. I want to Give Him ALL I HAVE!!!

    There is nothing that brings me more joy than to know I have given Him the best of me. I only desire is to please Him. Lord help us give more to you and less for us. You will provide all our needs anyway so let us all TRUST IN HIM!!!!! In Jesus Name Amen

  30. Exodus 35:4 -5 and Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel saying this is the thing which the Lord commanded saying (5) take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord whosoever is of a willing heart let him bring it an offering of the Lord gold and silver and brass

  31. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses

    This chapter gives us a great example on how how to be more willing to give and to serve! When we give to God we should not think of it as a burden but as a privilege!

  32. 1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.

    Amen!!! A command!!! It doesn’t say that he might do if you want but that ye should do them. The commands that are going to take us to his kingdom. It’s like a parent we don’t correct or children or give them rules because we want to see them suffer. We correct them because we love them and want to see them following Christ. Jesus gave us commands because he wants us grow in Him, not suffer, follow Him, and not perish. I will follow you Jesus!!! My mind is made up !!!!

  33. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    You have to give your offering willingly because if you give it grudgingly God will not bless you!!

  34. 21and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. 22All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord.

    God commands Moses to take up an offering for supplies to build the tabernacle. The repeated message here is those “who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering” (vs 21) and “who where willing, men and women alike”. He didn’t say those who felt obligated, or just the men gave. No, he was explaining that it was a offering from the heart, something each gender has. It takes a moved heart, and a person surrendering their self-will to do the Lord’s will and move to offer.

  35. Giving is still an important part for the work of the kingdom. In our giving God can bless. We should always give with a willing heart.

  36. All whose hearts were stirred and whose spirits were moved came and brought their sacred offerings to the Lord . They brought all the materials needed for the Tabernacle, for the performance of its rituals, and for the sacred garments. Both men and women came, all whose hearts were willing. They brought to the Lord their offerings of gold—brooches, earrings, rings from their fingers, and necklaces. They presented gold objects of every kind as a special offering to the Lord .
    Exodus 35:21-22 NLT

    We must not only be willing to give God our money but also our time talents and life. We will be surprise with what God can do when we offer it all to him and put it in His hands. Gid can use all of this and mske something great for His kingdom but the key is that we must not only be sesitive to His Spirit but be willing to do it.

  37. The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    I should always give willingly, I treat my offering like praise…I come to church ready and expecting to give, I’m excited, and Willing because it’s His and he makes it possible.

    Thank you Jesus

  38. Exodus 35:20 Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses presence and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting for all its service and for the sacred garments. All who were willing men and women alike came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord.

  39. Everyone of the children of Israel brought gifts and offerings to God. For every need of the Holy use. They joyfully brought according to their talents and The Lord bless them. We are about to see the miracle of our church for God. I just can not wait. Day of jubilee and miracles!

  40. Everyone of the children of Israel brought offerings to God and the Lord blessed them. They brought their talents and gifts to God joyfully after hearing the word of God.

  41. “Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh day shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.”(Exodus‬ ‭35:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

    The mild and easy yoke of Christ has made our sabbath duties more delightful, and our sabbath restraints less irksome, than those of the Jews; but we are the more guilty by neglecting them. Surely God’s wisdom in giving us the sabbath, with all the mercy of its purposes, are sinfully disregarded. In Jesus Name !!!!

  42. 1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.

    We are here to do the will of the lord not are will but your will be done .

  43. v22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

    If we do not give with the right attitude, our giving will not benefit us.
    We should give cheerfully from our hearts.
    For GOD do loved the world that HE have freely, lovingly, with all HIS heart, mind, and strength however a stingy heart is not open to receive the love that JESUS gave and still gives.

  44. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

    Now is see where we get it from, and why it’s so effective. It’s so important to purpose in our hearts and obey what God lets us to give. Everything the people brought was exactly what was needed. And some even labored to be able to bring something, with that purpose. I used to complain to God under my breathe, I only give you from the measure that I have, most of the time it was what was left over or what I thought I could afford. It’s was never what God purposes in my heart or a sacrifice. Always my left over change, if I had any to give.

    In order for me to grow God had to break me of my broke mentally, and allow me to enjoy prosperity and actually trust God.

  45. Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

    31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

    God provides for the need. So many times we seek for the tangible as an answer to our need but many times God gives us the ability or knowledge to bring an answer to the need.

  46. “The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭35:29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    It was a willing offering. Sometimes when we give its not a willing offering. I thank God that he has different ways to evaluate things than us. I might be stuck on how much or if it’s sacrificial, or which percentage o have donated. God on the other hand can see straight to the heart of the matter.

  47. 4 And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,

    5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass,

    A willing heart is what makes the difference. You may do this or that, but what is the conditjon of your heart. One may ask, why dont i get picked to do things? Yet we must remeber that God looks at the heart. Can he trust you? Can he be sure that you will guard your heart and humble yourslef when you need to. It is the willingness that makes a diference

  48. “So everyone in the community of Israel left the presence of Moses. Then they came back, every one whose heart was roused, whose spirit was freely responsive, bringing offerings to GOD for building the Tent of Meeting, furnishing it for worship and making the holy vestments. They came, both men and women, all the willing spirits among them, offering brooches, earrings, rings, necklaces—anything made of gold—offering up their gold jewelry to GOD. And anyone who had blue, purple, and scarlet fabrics; fine linen; goats’ hair; tanned leather; and dolphin skins brought them. Everyone who wanted to offer up silver or bronze as a gift to GOD brought it. Everyone who had acacia wood that could be used in the work, brought it. All the women skilled at weaving brought their weavings of blue and purple and scarlet fabrics and their fine linens. And all the women who were gifted in spinning, spun the goats’ hair.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭35:20-26‬ ‭MSG‬‬

    Sometimes God is looking for a different kind of sacrifice from us rather than money. We all know our relationship with God and we all know what we can sacrifice for Him to show our love. We live in a world which is enticed by technology and other material things that can take away time from God. Not all sacrifices are items we give to God….it can be thing that don’t cost a dime,but are a huge sacrifice and worth everything to God. So if we are having trouble knowing what kind of sacrifice we can give pray and seek Him. He deserves the best!

  49. 29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
    Let us examine our hearts to make sure we are willing to give our time,talents and abilties to God and our leaders so Gods work can be and will be done.

  50. 1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.

    Shall-VS-Should

    Often times we read the words “shall” or “should” and we mix them up, or maybe we just don’t fully comprehend what their differences are, they are different. The word “should” is a suggestive word. “Shall” is an absolute. When God says should with one of His commandments, it is a very strong suggestion that we had better do as His commandment says, or we will have to give an account for it, and then He as the perfect gentleman that he is, allows us to choose.
