Exodus 36

1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.

2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.

9 The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.

10 And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.

11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.

12 Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.

13 And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.

14 And he made curtains of goats’ hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.

15 The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.

16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.

17 And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.

18 And he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.

19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.

20 And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.

21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.

22 One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.

23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:

24 And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.

25 And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,

26 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.

27 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.

28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.

29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.

30 And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.

31 And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

32 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.

33 And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.

34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.

35 And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.

36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.

37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;

38 And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.

    4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

They brought their offering freely and there was more than enough.

  3. 7. For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

My God is more than enough
He can supply all my needs
    He is my El Shaddai
He always looks out for me
Jehovah Jirah, He is my God
Jehovah Jirah, He is my God

All of the earth is His
    And the fullness thereof
    He’s everything that I need
    You can be sure of
Jehovah Jirah, He is my God
Jehovah Jirah, He is my God

    So why should I worry
‘Bout the highs and the lows
    The ups and the downs
‘Cause by my faith, I know…

  4. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

  5. The end of verse 3 MSG says “The people kept on bringing in their freewill offerings, morning after morning.” Wow….now that is awesome! The people were so freewilling to bring something (offerings) every morning that in verses 6-7 MSG Moses had to put out an order to stop them. “So Moses sent out orders through the camp: “Men! Women! No more offerings for the building of the Sanctuary!” The people were ordered to stop bringing offerings! There was plenty of material for all the work to be done. Enough and more than enough.” We are going to Impact Our Future Together POFW.

  6. “Whose heart stirred him”… obsession

2 And Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab and every craftsman in whose mind the LORD had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to do the work. -ESV

If we could just for a moment exit this current world in our minds and allow God to put our minds on the eternal, I believe it would be an experience with Him we would not desire to come back from.

These men allowed themselves to become obsessed with fulfilling the will of God. Their passion caused them to give everything to fulfill the task at hand. Why do I say obsession well because it was not just their ability but the Bible says “in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom,” this let’s me know without God they would not be capable to achieve it. Also, the plans came from God but the “availability” came from the people.

So, how do I become just as successful and obsessed as the men in this chapter? I make my life available to God. There is nothing that I would hold back from Him.

  7. “Bezalel and Oholiab must do the work just as the Lord has commanded. So must every skilled worker to whom the Lord has given skill and ability. They must know how to do all of the work for every purpose connected with the sacred tent. And that includes setting it up.””
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭36:1‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

Sometimes in life we go through things not knowing that there is a purpose. But everything that we do or have done has a purpose. In this case their past experience and skill was going to help build the tabernacle.

  8. Exudes 36:28
And to boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
There is not two sides all the time there is one side to Jesus Christ. Grow with Jesus Amen

  9. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

The Lord will always make sure his kingdom has enough and more to do his bidding.

  10. iLove to grow in the Word

Exodus 36:1 NLT “The LORD has gifted Bezalel, Oholiab, and the other skilled craftsmen with wisdom and ability to perform any task involved in building the sanctuary. Let them construct and furnish the Tabernacle, just as the LORD has commanded.”

This is the prayer that we are to pray daily for the new church building that is being build right now. We must pray that God will give the workers wisdom and skill from heaven. God will show us favor with building officials and God would put a desire in his people to give.

  11. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

This will happen to us as well in Jesus name! By the time we give all the money we are pledged and everyone gives to the building fund, we will have more than enough to pay for the building.

  12. SUFFICIENT TO GROW

7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

    YES! YEA! AMEN!

The people became obsessed with GIVING to the Kingdom of GOD. The people were so PASSIONED about providing for the Tabernacle that they brought all that was needed and were intending and planning to bring MORE.

My GOD is MORE than enough and I am persuaded that this same spirit of willingness to give sacrificially will sweep through The Pentecostals of Fort Worth. People will come to purchase chairs and squares, but they will all be accounted for in JESUS name. We will have MORE than enough in JESUS name.

Thank you JESUS for the promises of your WORD and the testimony of the saints of old willingness to give sacrificially so that you could not only BLESS the offering, but also BLESS the giver.

  13. What a day that will be!

6-7 So Moses sent out orders through the camp: Men! Women! No more offerings for the building of the Sanctuary! The people were ordered to stop bringing offerings! There was plenty of material for all the work to be done. Enough and more than enough.

The truth – my faith is weak concerning this principle. I want to believe with all that is within me that God has sent and will send people with resources “enough and more than enough” to complete our new building. In my imagination I can see the POFW never having to make a payment on the construction costs due to enough resources. However, I believe if such a resource did exist we would find a way to reinvest those resources back into God’s kingdom. Maybe we fund building programs for other churches, support more missionaries, etc…

  14. 2-3 Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab along with all whom God had gifted with the ability to work skillfully with their hands. The men were eager to get started and engage in the work. (MSG)

The men that were gifted with the ability, were the men that were called to work. The word states they were eager to get started.

When blessed with abilities we must be available to be called upon. Yet we must be available with an eager spirit.

This can be achieved when we fully commit and give every gift, talent, and ability to God.

  15. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

How much is too much for our God? If you take into consideration that, God wrapped himself in flesh, dwell among us, was tempted but sinned not, tortured daily, pierced for our inequities, beaten, and killed!!!!! HE DID IT FOR YOU AND ME TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE!!! Now, after recalling EVERYTHING you know, ALL THE RICHES in the world and those in Heaven in Christ Jesus wouldn’t be enough to repay my God for ever. You see, He saw value in me, when my value was on the floor. He pick me up and with His pierced hands, using His wonderful blood He cleanse me white as snow, He dressed me with the most beautiful raiment. I OWE HIM ALL I AM!!!! That is why I want to give HIM all I have and more. I want to run and be the first one in offering but again I am slow to move.

2 Chronicles 21:24 And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

The day I read the above scripture, my life changed. Why are we giving God left overs, or worse something we didn’t work for…. Don’t you see that He deserves our very best. Then I hear people say something like: “why tithe, those preacher just steal it, I’m not going to give them my hard worked money.” It is not our place to decide those things, our place is to obey God, if God tell us we must do this, by the obedience of doing it you will be blessed by God. If your preacher is stealing the money, I am sorry, that is not how it supposed to be, BUT DO YOU PUT YOUR FAITH IN THE MAN (PREACHER) OR ON YOUR GOD, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. I CHOSE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, we all go through tough times, believe me I got my share of those… I just give what I got as long as I give HIM ALL that I got including the pennies I find on the road for EVERYTHING COUNTS. God will find it in His Wonderful Heart to bless you. BY CLOSING YOUR HAND WHEN IT NEEDS TO BE OPEN YOU WAX GOD’S HAND SHORT.
Luke 21: 21 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

    • I finished my prayer at 5 am. I have been trying to post this since that time. Never have I spend so much time, none stop, trying to post this. Thank God for Pastor’s suggestion of copying it so you don’t lose it. Every time I put it in and pressed enter internet will go out and the computer messed up. It lead me to believe the enemy did not want me to post. WELL, I AM NOT A QUITTER. take that devil

  16. 5 They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!” (NLT)

WOW!! My God is more than enough and if He can do it then, who says He can’t do it again today?!

  17. 3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

    4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

When the people gave out of willing heart, I believe the Lord multiplied it just like the bread and fish in the new testament, because Moses had to tell the people to refrain from giving because they had more than enough.

God is the same yesterday today and forever and we can give with the same willing heart and experience the same “more than enough.”

  18. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

  19. 2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

They had a passion in their hearts and they let it lead them to do great things in the will of God. Just as them, us at POFW should let our passion stir in our hearts and grow into doing great things in the Kingdom of God!!

  20. And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much. (‭Exodus‬ ‭36‬:‭6-7‬ KJV)

    Ah!!! Praise The LORD!!!

For it is The LORD that has BLESSED the work of our hands!! All for His Kingdom and for His Glory!! Let us not hold back from what he has given us, lest we be cursed!

  21. And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

    4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;

As I read this i recalled the challenge and promise the Lord personally gave to the POFW. If just get 100% participation then he would pour out blessings. What God was asking for is unity. To belive in the vision. When all give then all are buying not to a man’s idea but a God given vision therefore we are in agreement not only with the man of God (which to remind us, it was Moses who gave the news to the people to give), but also in direct agreement with the Lord. This is strongly in my mind as for months our man of God kept asking the congregation to give for the same cause we see here in this chapter. All we need is 100% and the Lord will bless. We have already seen that!!! The Lord is faithful to his word and should’ve inspired us to come up with even more. The word says that the children of God brought more than enough, so that leads me to believe that we have what it takes to make it happen. As I recall that month that we had 100 percent participation pastor had to time and time again almost get to thd point he had to beg people to turst God and bring something….now imagine if now the children of God at POFW was to have theur hearts and souls stirred and bring it willingly with great desire then we would see a grow in our ability to give and God once again will be faithful to his word. Just perfect harmony and unity is what it takes lets all being something with great desire for the tabernacle

  22. Ex.36:2-3
    2) And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
    3) And they received of Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

One, God has given everyone talents and abilities to do a work for his kingdom. The thing is, only those who have a Passion (whose heart stirred him up) to do the work, will do it.
Two, God wants us to have a willing heart to give. He wants us to bring him an offering freely, willingly, and joyously. “For God loveth a cheerful giver.”

So let’s be Passionate about the work of God and bring our offerings to Him Freely and with a Cheerful Heart.

  23. And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

  24. 1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.

Reading this chapter makes me try to visualize the beauty of this Tabernacle. The curtains woven with cherubims done in needlework must have been majestic and all done through the understanding the Lord gave these specific men. Our new building is also majestic. Just driving by & looking at it makes an impression! There are specific details that have been long planned to create the best Sanctuary to worship the King of Kings in. We must give like they gave -more than enough-so that no detail of our church is left wanting whether it is video equipment, chairs, or carpet. We must all give together and all pray that the Lord’s will for POFW is accomplished to the fullest!

  25. Wisdom for the service

It is wise to have a heart after the work of the Lord. It would be foolish to be called to ministry and not care about it. Pastor and Sister Watts are wise in their service to the Lord and they show their wisdom through the excellency of their preparation and work for the service of the Lord. They expect excellency in all that goes on in the House of God because that is only reasonable. If we really have a heart fixed on the work of the Lord them it will show through excellency in it. We can take and X-ray to our hearts by looking at the work we do for the Lord. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

    Luke 6:
43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

We all have to give our very best to please the Lord. He knows what is excellent and what is lacking because he is excellent. Jesus knows what it is like to have his heart fixed on the service of the Lord. He died for it.

We are not wise in bringing an effort or service to the Lord that is lacking.

Let is fix our hearts in wisdom and serve the Lord with excellency.

  26. “All the artisans who were at work making everything involved in constructing the Sanctuary came, one after another, to Moses, saying, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing this work that GOD has commanded us to do!”

So Moses sent out orders through the camp: “Men! Women! No more offerings for the building of the Sanctuary!” The people were ordered to stop bringing offerings! There was plenty of material for all the work to be done. Enough and more than enough.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭36:4-7‬ ‭MSG‬‬

With building of the sanctuary God brought people with many people with skills to help and with some being on board for the building that created and up roar in the men and woman in bringing offerings to help provide everything. They got so excited about it helping that the ended up bringing more than enough it was an over flow of offerings. We all need to get on board and give as much as we can even if it’s a dollar a day or a penny…your still giving to the kingdom of God and helping.

Not everyone has the skills to build, but we all have the skills to help everyone grow. So if you don’t have the funds or the handy hands, help build in people’s lives and by helping a brother or sister in church already or bring souls to the kingdom of God to allow them to get rooted in Him.

  27. 2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:

hallelujah!!!! Has God put wisdom in us. We need to be convinced that everything we do is for the kingdom of God. Something has to take a hold of you and move you that we need to work for the kingdom of God. We can’t be satisfied with what we have. We have to work hard and bring the souls, cry out for them, love them as ourselves, and be sensitive to Gods spirit. As I fast, I pray that Jesus let’s me see the people who are crying out for an answer. People that are dying but want Jesus just don’t know how. I want to run into a family again, invite them to church and watch the great things Jesus has for their lives. I can’t do nothing without you God, help me to be sensitive to your call.

  28. 1 Corinthians 6:19

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

God put in all these details for the temple. It was recorded for us to read today. Every single detail mattered, God cared about it all. How much more does he care for each of us? We are the temple for the Holy Ghost! Every detail about us matters to God.

Also the temple didn’t make itself, it was crafted by men given wisdom by God. Just like the physical temple couldn’t build itself it’s foolish to think we can build ourselves. We are shaped as the temple of the Holy Ghost by God called men in whom dwell wisdom from the holy ghost. There was a head crafter of the temple who had men who worked under him toward the same purpose, today we have a pastor with ministers who work under him toward the same goal. Impacting people to change lives and also crafting each of us to be the ideal temple for the Holy Ghost.

  29. And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
    4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

If you give freely with a willing heart God will supply ALL your needs!!!

  30. 8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.

There is nothing too big for God . There was so much given that it over flowed. Thank you Lord for giving them the wisdom to give from the heart. I pray for unity at POFW so that giving will over flow.

  31. 2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the Lord had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.

    Giving Hearts

Could you imagine it? People so excited to get to be a part of doing God’s work that they not only gave every day, but that they showed up to WORK?

Here we see that if we take the time and invest of our time and talents, that our treasures will follow, in so much that if we have the slightest nudge at our hearts that we pitch in. The Word doesn’t say that it was just those who knew what they were doing, or those that were good at what they did, but rather those “whose heart stirred”.

Ever wander what stirred their heart? was it the excitement of being able to see a “piece” of God? Maybe to have their sins rolled forward a year? Although we are not told exactly, you can bet that they were thrilled to get to do something, ANYTHING for God. You have to remember where they just came out of, Egypt and all it’s bondage. Remember when you were first baptized and freshly freed from all your bondage, you wanted to give everything and were willing to do anything.

Why not now? Why do so many allow sin and flesh to hinder them? What stirs your heart? Is it Jesus? Shopping? Movies? Sports? If it’s not Jesus, then what is it? Why?

  32. For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

I remember when we read that God told Moses to have the children to borrow , and now we see that God had a purpose for it, to build the tabernacle, maybe the children didn’t see it but God already knew, and their willing offerings were more than enough to supply the need at hand!
HOW MANY TIMES HAS GOD SUPPLIED OUR NEED AND THEN SOME?? HE IS A GOD WHO IS AN AMAZING PROVIDER, HE IS SO AWESOME. THANK YOU JESUS
GOD IS A GREAT GOD AND GREATLY TO BE PRAISED!

  33. The intricate design for the tabernacle is very detailed in its construction. What makes it so significant in its structure is what each type of wood, metal, and fabric represents and symbolizes.
Acacia wood is durable and resistant to decay, its inclucsion is both practical and symbolic to the cross. The curtains mentioned were scarlet (judgment) blue (commandment) purple (royalty) which will be a repeated theme when it comes to metals.

Brass is symbolic of sin (Deut 28:22-23) it’s a mixed metal, impure when compared to silver or gold. Silver is the metal of redeption (Ex. 30:12-16, Lev. 5:15-16; 27:3-7, Num. 18:15-16).Gold is the most valuable metal and is not easily corruptible. Often, gold points us to King Jesus and to his bride, the church. According to Rev. 1:5, 6 Christ has made his children both kings and priests. In Zec 13:9 God speaks of his people that he will “put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold.” Brass may be the representation of sin and judgment but the silver God is going to use to refine and redeem us to Himself, purifying us with testing them to be fine gold. The bride He is coming back for the church to be pure gold His treasured possesion (Deut 7:6).

  34. 6 Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

When we get it that God will provide all our needs. There is nothing we can’t do. We have to set up ourselves to be a blessing. God will give the increase.

  35. EXODUS 36: 2-7

THE PEOPLE GIVE MORE THAN ENOUGH
In our ministries if we were to give more and do it with passion, I can see this church growing to a max. I can see the teachers of Sunday school say what the craftsmen said, the Bus teams have bring more than enough.

  36. v 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.

Thanks be to GOD HE IS A WAY MAKER .
We have HIS WORD that if we will seek first the kingdom of GOD, all these other ” things shall be added” to us…..Luke 12:31
Just believe and prove the LORD.

  37. Exodus 36:2 and Moses called bezaleel and aholiab and every wise hearted man in whose heart the lord had put wisdom even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it (3) and they receive of Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service sanctuary to make it withal and they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning (4) and all the wise men that wrought all the work of the sanctuary came every man from his work which they made (5)and they spake unto Moses saying the people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which the Lord commanded to make

  38. Exodus 36:25-26

25 For the north side of the Tabernacle, he made another twenty frames, 26 with their forty silver bases, two bases under each frame.

Structure is important to God. The framing had to be done precisely as order. These curtains were heavy, and the cargo inside was precious. Frames are not the most beautiful, or the envied but they serve a specific purpose. Without the frame none of the other pieces would be placed.

Our doctrine is structure. It’s frame holds up the church and keeps it stable. There is only one God and his name is Jesus. Acts 2:38 is still how we attain salvation. Holiness and separation are necessary. Thank God for the structure.

  39. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

The people saw a need and went above and beyond to fulfill it! Hallelujah

  40. Finally the craftsmen who were working on the sanctuary left their work. They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!”
    Exodus 36:4-5 NLT

In this church I have learned that its not a have too, or a chore to give to towards God’s kingdom, but a privilage, honor and a blessing. God doesnt stay with anything we give He always gives it back one way or another and He always gives us more than we did. We cant out give God.

  41. The work of the Lord is a great work. Don’t be fooled by the false prophets. The truth will always prevail. If you need deliverance, you can find it in Jesus.

  42. Exodus 36:2 Then Moses summoned Beale and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work . They received from Moses all the offering the Israelites had brought to carryout the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offeringso morning after morning. So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing and said to Moses, The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.

  43. “Then Moses called Bezalel and Aholiab, and every gifted artisan in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, everyone whose heart was stirred, to come and do the work.”(Exodus‬ ‭36:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Moses then informed the people that God had called Bezaleel and Aholiab as master-builders, to complete the building and all the work connected with it, and had not only endowed them with His Spirit, that they might draw the plans for the different works and carry them out, but “had put it into his (Bezaleel’s) heart to teach” (Exodus 35:34), that is to say, had qualified him to instruct labourers to prepare the different articles under his supervision and guidance.

  44. 5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the Lord commanded to make.

God gave and is still giving us more than enough. So are we giving him more than enough? God died for us. Are we going to die and give up our worldly ways and life for him?! He gives so much, but how are we going to repay it?

  45. 6So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough!” So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings. 7 Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project.

Would it not be great if Pastor could tell us the same thing about our new church bldg. We all can pray in the coming months, that we will be in that position, that we all get blessed, and the church bldg is completely paid off!

  46. Even those whom God has qualified for, and inclined to, the service of the tabernacle, yet must wait for a regular call to it, either extraordinary, as that of prophets and apostles, or ordinary, as that of pastors and teachers. And observe who they were that Moses called: Those in whose heart God had put wisdomfor this purpose, beyond their natural capacity, and whose heart stirred them up to come to the work in good earnest.

  47. An Abundance of Offerings

36:7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

I king 8:64 The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord: for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brasen altar that was before the Lord was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.

  48. “Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the Lord put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the Lord had commanded.” The Lord (Jesus) provided the skill, wisdom, and understanding required. Although the Lord provided, the people also had to do their part. Dear God, order my steps and let thy will be done; “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  49. This chapter tells us of how the Israelites brought there offerings morning after morning. Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone pitched in and did their part? There would be more than enough.

  50. 6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.

7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

I believe one thing I will try to do this coming year, is to out give God. I’m believing God for double measure of spiritual perfection. God is going to do something so unprecedented, it will be history making that will catapult us into a new dimension we right now can not fathom.

  51. “And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭36:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

These people were faithful with the things of unrighteous mammon because they gave freely to the Lord three times every morning. They gave so much that they were told not to give anymore. They were then blessed with true riches because of their giving. Yes, they got stuff, but what were the “true riches?” The true riches was not the money or the stuff but rather it was the meeting place to be with God. It was the ability to be with God and do what pleased Him.
