40 Days of Passion

DAY 3

1Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Pray …that uncommitted souls make up their minds to follow Jesus. “How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him.”

Exodus 39

1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the Lord commanded Moses.

2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.

4 They made shoulderpieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.

5 And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the Lord commanded Moses.

6 And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

7 And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the Lord commanded Moses.

8 And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.

9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.

10 And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.

11 And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.

12 And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.

13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were inclosed in ouches of gold in their inclosings.

14 And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.

16 And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.

17 And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

18 And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.

19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.

20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

21 And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the Lord commanded Moses.

22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

23 And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.

24 And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the Lord commanded Moses.

27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,

28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,

29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the Lord commanded Moses.

30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.

31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as the Lord commanded Moses.

32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.

33 And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,

34 And the covering of rams’ skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers’ skins, and the vail of the covering,

35 The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,

36 The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread,

37 The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,

38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,

39 The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

40 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,

41 The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons’ garments, to minister in the priest’s office.

42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

  1. Vs.42-43
This section of Exodus describing construction of the tabernacle suggest a pattern for us to follow. First be sure that we have understood God’s instruction clearly. Second carry them out exactly also inspect what we have done to be sure. Let’s show this.kind.of.care in doing God’s work. There’s great satisfaction in doing.God’s work his. Way

  2. God will bless all the church, as we build according to his instruction. Always let God be that guide. We have a calling to Him and he will bless each one should we follow His instructions. To many times man will step in and say let’s do it this way. As long as we are following God’s plan man can’t interfere and should never interject in God’s work. Let all our building and guidance be that as God called us to and we will be blessed abundantly.

  3. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them. I pray that I am always blessed by the Lord.

  4. 42. According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

    43. And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

God told Moses – Moses told the workers – the workers did the task – the workers returned the works to Moses for inspection – Moses saw that the task was done according to God’s command – Moses blessed the workers

A great example that leadership, submission, and accountability lead to blessings.

    • That is true, God told Moses and Moses told the workers. Great example of how our pastor receives instruction from God and relays that information to the leaders. Submission and accountability lead to blessings! Great Point!

  5. 32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.

Our work for the Lord is finished only when we have done all that he has commanded.

  6. Verses 42-43 MSG “The Israelites completed all the work, just as God had commanded. Moses saw that they had done all the work and done it exactly as God had commanded. Moses blessed them.” Same verses AMP “So the Israelites did all the work according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses. And Moses [carefully] inspected all the work, and behold, they had done it; just as the Lord had commanded, so had they done it. So Moses blessed them.” As we are now in 2016, April is almost here and completion will come. We must pray for Pastor as he meets with the builders and contractors so that everything is done according to the vision He has given him for POFW.

  7. Symbol of Pomegranate

    25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;

26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Jewish tradition teaches that the pomegranate is a symbol of righteousness because it is said to have 613 seeds, which corresponds with the 613 mitzvot, or commandments, of the Torah. For this reason and others, it is customary to eat pomegranates on Rosh Hashanah. Moreover, the pomegranate represents fruitfulness, knowledge, learning, and wisdom.
Interestingly, many Jewish scholars believe that the pomegranate was the “forbidden fruit” of the Garden of Eden. Furthermore, the pomegranate is listed in the Bible as one of the seven species (shivat haminim) of fruits and grains that are special products of the Land of Israel.

John 14:6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Thank you Jesus!!! We serve a Miracle working God!!!!

  9. Exodos 39-5

  10. Bless them…

42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

So often it is our nature to go to God in prayer or to the man of Go asking for their blessing. Rather it’s for our finances, marriage, or a issue in our life or home. Yet the very first thing we should do before we seek their blessing is make sure things are in order.

For example it is foolish of me to ask the man of God and God to bless my finances when I don’t pay my tithes, I don’t give offering, and I do not give sacrificially. Let us seek the Word of God for this principle:

    Malachi 3:8-9
8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

You see if we follow after the Word of God we would understand that the principle is already in His Word and if we follow it we would not have to ask for the blessing we will be blessed because we align with His Word. So, when hard times come we set out on faith and He supplies all our “needs.”

Let’s also notice that here is Exodus the people did not ask for the blessing Moses blessed them after they obeyed the commands of God, that was given to them by Moses.

Could it be that when we obey the Word of God like the children of Israel have in the last few chapters that we would not have to pray for blessing and ask for them, yet they would be evident in our lives?
    Think about it:

they were asked to give— they gave so much they where told to stop
they were asked to work— they worked faithfully and completed every task

    Luke 6:38
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

    WE CANT OUT GIVE GOD!

Lord, I give you all of me, my family, and my finances. There is nothing that I with hold from you. Allow the fruit that is within us to multiply and run over to those around us. Your Word says that ” with the same measures that Ye mete withhal it shall be measured to you again.” So, I pray that as it returns back to us, let blessings flow out of us again. Let my life and my family become a continual blessing to those around us and let it extend to lives all around the Word! In Jesus Name!

  11. “The people of Israel had done all of the work just as the Lord had commanded Moses. Moses looked over the work carefully. He saw that the workers had done it just as the Lord had commanded. So Moses gave them his blessing.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭39:42-43‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

There’s a commanded blessing when the people of God work together and obey His commandments in unity. I feel that 40 days of Passion is setting us up for a commanded blessing.

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭133:1-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  12. The church is organized everything should be done with decency and in order to please God.

And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

  13. THE BLESSING OF OBEDIENCE

42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

It baffles me how stubborn some of our generation is. Simple instructions from a man of GOD are contested, ignored and rejected many times. Then those same people turn right around and seek a BLESSING from the man of GOD they ignored.

My prayer today is that we learn from this chapter and passage how important our SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE are to being BLESSED by the man of GOD. A man of GOD who has GOD’s authority to speak on his behalf.

    Notice in verse 42
1, The children of Israel did all the work that the LORD commanded Moses. Every request, guideline, and commitment. Exactly like the man of GOD spoke it. Not halfway, not similar to, not how they had been doing it, but just like the man of GOD spoke it from GOD.

    In verse 43
    1. Moses (the man of GOD) utilized ACCOUNTABILITY in examining or “looking upon the work” he was faithful to “Inspect what he EXPECTED”.
    2. Moses (the man of GOD) determined whether they had done the exactly correct or partially correct or not at all.
    3. Moses (the man of GOD) spoke the BLESSING of the LORD on the people.

We have already learned that Moses is not perfect, however he is the man of GOD to the children of Israel and trusted his walk with GOD enough to TRUST and obey him. Occasionally the small details derail believers. We must be committed followers and pay attention to every detail, color, style, placement, participation and execution of assignment.

  14. 43 Moses saw that they had done all the work and done it exactly as God had commanded. Moses blessed them. MSG
When God sees how POFW has done the work according to his will he is going to bless POFW. As an individual when we do all we know to do God will bless us.

  15. 42-43 The Israelites completed all the work, just as God had commanded. Moses saw that they had done all the work and done it exactly as God had commanded. Moses blessed them. (MSG)

  16. 42 So the people of Israel followed all of the Lord’s instructions to Moses.
43 Then Moses inspected all their work. When he found it had been done just as the Lord had commanded him, he blessed them. (NLT)

Notice the wording, “the Lord’s instructions” and “as the Lord had commanded.” We must recognize that all Pastor says is according to what the Lord says and directs him. Yes there are the man made laws like we reviewed in leadership, but each is backed with God’s word. We must submit to our man of God because all that he says and does, for and with us, is to the glory of God. Both God and our man of God wants to see us blessed, but unless we are obedient and submissive the authorities over us, how can we be blessed when we don’t deserve it?

  17. The Tabernacle Work Completed

Exodus 39:32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.

40:17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year,on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

  18. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

The people saw the vision of their man of God, they be lived in it and worked for it and without them the tabernacle would not have been made as quickly or efficiently. This is why God has people of many talents and many trades in his body. When we all catch the vision of the pastor we will all bring to the table our own knowledge and trades just as the children of Isreal had.

  19. iLove to grow in the Word

Exodus 39:7 NLT He fastened these stones on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod as a reminder that the priest represents the people of Israel. All this was done just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

I like the way the NLT translates this verse for the fact that it says “the priest represents the people of Israel.” This is a true statement in many ways. As ministers in training, our responsibility is to serve the people. We serve them and accommodate their needs, open the door for them, seat them in the sanctuary pray for them, take them cookies, and teach them Bible Studies.

Not only do we serve the people, but we also represent the people. Praise the Lord, that means we are held with a higher level of accountability. It’s time to rise up leaders and represent people of The Pentecostals of Fort Worth so that God gets the Glory.

  20. And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

The building of a new building.

We have been in a building project for almost two years. Wow. As we have been reading the people made the furniture. But in today’s world we buy most of the products. My prayer is that as we give and prepare for the groweth and harvest. That we will understand that it’s by our giving that will help bring the increase. Where is our faith? Do we not believe in what God has told us about the blessing of we will just give. Stretch equals grow.

  21. v 1 And of blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the place, and made the holy garments for Aaron;
    as the LORD commanded Moses.

In this chapter we see ” as the LORD commanded Moses” ten times.
There’s one reason for it Moses , get out there and give it to them.
    ( the Israelites )
That we too may know through HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD we can come boldly to the throne of GOD. Hebrews 10:19

We can have what we ask for…. a clean heart a place where GOD can dwell, as we follow HIS instructions.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see GOD.
    Matthew 5: 8

  22. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

It’s already been said many times, but their obedience to God through the man of God brought the blessings. These men were skilled and no doubt could have created beautiful things on their own, but these items were made per the instructions of Moses which in the end made them holy for worship when sanctified or purified.

  23. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work. And Moses saw all the work, and, behold, they had done it; as Jehovah had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them. (‭Exodus‬ ‭39‬:‭42-43‬ ASV)

  24. thank you Jesus for today’s word .God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is the Lord of heaven and earth. dwelleth not in temples made with hands, help us to grow and finis the work the you commend physical and spiritual,Amen

  25. Ex. 39:32 & 42-43
    32) Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did they.
    42) According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
    43) And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

I found it interesting in this chapter that between verses 1-31 the phrase “as the LORD commanded Moses” is written 7 times. 7 in the Bible represents completeness and perfection.
So is it any wonder than that after 7 times of writing “as the LORD commanded Moses” that all the work of the Tabernacle was finished (complete). Or when Moses looked upon all the work that is was done as the Lord had commanded (perfection).
The Tabernacle was Complete and Perfect, and the people were Blessed because of their Obedience.

I believe that when the new church is built, it will be Complete and Perfect, and we will be Blessed.

  26. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

Moses was wise in looking upon all the work that was done by the people who he confide in. He expected perfection as God commanded and found that all the work was well done, he had no complaints. His choice to bless the workers was because they did a good job. He was satisfied and knew that God would be pleased that his command was accomplished by skilled people who could do the job and who cared to do a good job. Moses blessed the hard workers, because he knew their heart was in it, they gave of their time and talent and served to do the will of God.

  27. Obedience leads to blessings!!

42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

The obeyed the man of God in their life and In return they were blessed! But we shouldn’t only obey to be blessed, but because it is the work of the Lord!

  28. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

It doesn’t matter if your 6 or 106 the work of the Lord is for everyone, it doesn’t matter if your blessing someone or if your doing something for the church it is all the work of the Lord in God’s eyes!!

  29. Exodus 39:42-43

42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them

Before I came to POFW I didn’t know what it was to have a Pastor that inspected our work for the kingdom till I came here and I’m grateful for it. Because if I’m doing something wrong I get corrected and be though to do it the right way for Gods honor.

Moises inspected what the Israelites had made at the Lord’s command and blessed them. In blessing the workers, Moses declared what was already and established fact, As a result of and in the process of their obedience, the people were experiencing God’s beneficence.

OBEDIENCE to the Man of God is also OBEDIENCE TO GOD and that brings BLESSINGS to our homes, to our family, finances… Everything!

  30. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

When we do as the Lord instructs we will be BLESSED!

  31. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

If work and blessing go hand and hand then, we could say that clear instructions and knowledgable understanding to each Isrealite worker was crucial. Communication would have been a key element. How can many work together unless they agree to the task at hand? What if each worker was given different instructions for the same task?

When constructing the tower of Babel each worker had great communication and unity “one language and a common speech” (Gen 11:1) Granted this was before Moses’ time and for an unholy construction, but the same priniciple of communication and unity applies because for the Babel workers “the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building.” (Gen 11:5) much the same way Moses came to see the final product, only he came in the midst of construction. The Lord inspected and said “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.” (Gen 11:6). Work with the power of communication and unity brings blessing. Work with the destructive power of bad communication and disunity will build the wrong product. The work and blessing is dependant of the instructor, the clarity and understanding of the instructions given to each worker and of course the finished product constructed.

  32. “So the people of Israel followed all of the LORD’s instructions to Moses.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭39:42‬ ‭NLT‬‬

They obey the commitments of God, they did not ask why, they didn’t complain, they just did as God asked. We should do the same…I sound do the same.

  33. 33 And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,

The work was finished when they brought it to Moses. I can’t find where it says that Moses worked on any of the things himself. He told the workers what God had said to do and his part was done until it was time to see if they had done what they were told. Moses trusted the workers. The workers trusted Moses. Everything worked. The man of God should not be in the trenches with the workers but in the high place talking to God. Without Vision the people perish. Just like in any job someone has to give the instruction. We have to keep our man of God out of the trenches and in contact with God so that we can stay in his will. Keep his hands up, let him pray, listen to instruction, and work hard!

  34. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

Obedience to God through the man of God is exhibited in this chapter. God told Moses what to do, and then he informed the people and then Moses came back and inspected what was ask of the people to ensure they did it like God said.

Many people say they are obedience to God, but want nothing to do with the authority of the man of God in their lives. If you are disobedient to what He asks, then you are disobedient to God as well. You can’t follow one with out the other. Anointing flows down from God, to the man of God, to the head of the Home (husband or mother if it’s a single parent home), to the wife, and then to the Children. You can’t not receive anointing by bypassing the man of of God and doing your own thing. This makes you out of order, and God doesn’t bless confusion and out of order situations.

  35. “Second row: ruby, sapphire, crystal. Third row: jacinth, agate, amethyst. Fourth row: beryl, onyx, jasper. The stones were mounted in a gold filigree. The twelve stones corresponded to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve names engraved as on a seal, one for each of the twelve tribes.”

    Many similarities with

“You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle; and crafted in gold were your settings and your engravings. On the day that you were created they were prepared.”

  36. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

The Children of Isreal were obedient and did all the work that was asked of them and God blessed them. If we are willing to do what God asks of us, he rewards us, sometimes we have to check our motives, but if we submit with a willing heart not out of obligation, or self desire God can use us and if we are faithful in the smallest or the stinkiest, the hardest, easiest task, he will elevate us to a bigger, less stinkiest, not as hard, nit so easy task. But if we Love God then it’s easy, because submitting to the man of God we are also submitting to God because God put him there.

GROWING UP IN PASSION. …Im TIRED OF MILK!

  37. Exodus 39:32 So all the work on the tabernacle, the tent of meeting was completed. The israelites did everything just as the Lord commanded Moses. Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses the tent and all its furnishings it’s clasps frames, crossbars, posts and bases the covering of ram skins dyed red and the covering of another durable leather and the shielding curtain the ark of the covenant law with its poles and the atonement cover the table with all its articles and the bread of the Presence, the pure gold lamps and with its row of lamps and all its accessories, and the olive oil for the light, the gold altar the anointing oil the fragrant incense and the curtain for the entrance to the tent the bronze altar with its bronze grating it’s poles and all its utensils the basin with its stand the curtain of the courtyard with its posts and bases and curtain for the entrance to the courtyard the ropes and tent pegs for the courtyard all the furnishings for the tabernacle the tent of meeting and the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary both the sacred garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when serving as priests.

  38. Do you think that if we made the church ragidy would please the lord know if we did it with full heart and neetly now that will please the lord .

  39. The cloths of service to do service in the holy place and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and his sons garments to minister in the priest’s office (42) according to all that the lord commanded Moses so the children of Israel made all the work 43 ) and Moses did look upon all the work and behold they had done it as the lord had commanded even so had they done it and Moses blessed them

  40. The craftsmen made beautiful sacred garments of blue, purple, and scarlet cloth—clothing for Aaron to wear while ministering in the Holy Place, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
    Exodus 39:1 NLT

In order to be able to minister in Gods presence we must have the correct garments which means nothing but the best. Physically and Spiritually, which means our hearts and attitudes must be pure and clean as well as our clothing must be modest.

  41. 1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Here is an example in the bible how God wanted his ministers wanted to wear holy garments to do service in the holy place. Despite popular opinion, what you wear in the House of God does matter to him. We may not be preachers or pastors, but we are ministers of the gospel in our own way, so I believe it applies to us as well.

  42. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

Jesus watches all the work that we do and blesses us. When everything seems to be going wrong and you still work for Gods kingdom , Jesus will look at us and bless us. Don’t think that you do anything in vain. Do everything as if it were unto the Lord.

  43. Exodus 39:6

6 They mounted the two onyx stones in settings of gold filigree. The stones were engraved with the names of the tribes of Israel, just as a seal is engraved.

The priest wore the Ephod which represented the people of Israel. When he went before God he literally stood as the whole people before God making intercession. This was a foreshadowing for the high priest Jesus Christ who presented himself once for all mankind.

We today are kings and priests into God. Yet when we go before him we don’t go alone. We intercede and stand in the gap for loved ones, and the lost. Just as the priest was commanded to take this seriously we need to even the more.

    Ezekiel 22:30

30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

  44. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

God’s work must be done, in everything, according to his own will.
Those whom God employs he will bless, and those whom he blesses are blessed indeed. The blessing he commands is life for evermore.
I’m so thankful to be a part of the church of the living GOD!!

  45. The stones in the breastpiece were also the stones that were mentioned in Ezekiel 28:13 that covered Lucifer before the fall.

  46. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
When God commands us to do something we must have a spirit of doing what he has called us to do. Many of us often find ourselves in a twist of wanting to do part of what God wants us to do or even doing what we want to do. God is going to look at all the things we have done on that day in which we are returned and he is going to say either good job or I didn’t know you. Be careful of what you are doing!

  47. “As the Lord commanded Moses”. The word of God (Jesus) states several times, what he told the man of God. One would be unwise not to heed the word of God and man of God. A true man of God is full of the Holy Ghost, teaches/preaches (ALL of it) the word of God, and practices the same (one would be unwise to heed one that is not). Dear God, let me not fall into deception; “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  48. “According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.” Moses obeyed the Lord. “And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.” Then Moses blessed those that did what the Lord had told him. God help us to see the importance of not only doing but doing it all, in Jesus name.

  49. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

Moses was the man of God. He stood between Israel and God. He was Gods mouthpiece to his people. He gave instructions for the temple, not because he wanted a temple built but because God commanded it. Moses had to deliver the instructions just as God had told him in order for the people to know what God wanted, then it was up to the people to follow Gods command.

  50. Every time God commanded His people to do something, that would be considered a commandment. As we know John 14:21 says “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”

  51. Beautiful garments of hight priest. The colors with the meaning of royalty, pureness, and justice. The mitre with an engraving Holyness to the Lord. That way every time they see his pastor (preaching) they remembered to be holy as the Lord is Holy. The beautiful stones engraves with the name of the tribes if Israel, to memorial.
Ammi and I, enjoyed looking the images and understanding the meaning at the Internet. God made everything with meaning and purpose.

  52. Over the past few years, I have started collecting bells. I have been very strict in not obtaining cheap mass-produced bells or duplicates. I have around 50 at this point. The amazing thing – they all sound different. Some are loud and brash while others are soft and smooth. Most of my bells are made of brass. I have a few of tin. I would love to find a silver bell. You know that sound that silver coins make, can you imagine what a silver bell sounds like; there is even a Christmas song about the concept! Step is up a notch, a gold bell. I cannot even image what a gold bell would sound like. From what I gather gold has a very distinct sound similar to silver but brighter and higher pitched.

We are talking about a robe worn in the holiest of holies. It cannot be some average brass clanger. The bells on this robe must be of the highest of quality and produce the sweetest sound.

1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

  53. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

There is a certain way to do things in the temple and the Kigdom of God. We cant just go off and try to do our own thing. We must submit and obey the plan of God given to the man of God to the congregation. The Lord does things decent and in order.

  54. There are many specific things when it was mentioning the apparel of these people. They gave great detail as to what it should look like. We too should have great care for what we have on when we go see the King of Kings. We should try to look nice every time.

  55. 42 According to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.

43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

  56. 8 Bezalel made the chestpiece with great skill and care. He made it to match the ephod, using finely woven linen embroidered with gold and with blue, purple, and scarlet thread.

Just like building the other items, everything was done with great skill and care. God does not want us to rush into things, but let us pray and do things under the obedience of God. If we do this your blessings will be there.

  57. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

When God gives you instruction you do it to his exact specifications. Your obedience will be blessed not just by God, but the man of God in your life.

  58. I’ve learned that God’s grace and mercy is God not punishing us as our sin deserve and grace is God blessing us despite the fact that we do not deserve it. Mercy is deliverance from judgment. Grace is extending kindness to the unworthy. As a result of that sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23) and eternal judgment in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:12-15). With that in mind, every day we live is an act of God’s mercy. If God gave us all what we deserve, we would all be, right now, condemned for eternity. In Jesus Name !!!

  59. 30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.

Let us be always Holiness like you Lord. Thank you Jesus for leading us all in a great and wonderful example.

  60. 43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the Lord had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.

Some of us are quick to complain when the man of God inspects us in our work to the Kingdom. Sometimes we feel indignant to a seemingly lack of confidence or trust in his behalf. We are holding the blessing the man of God has for us. We cut ourselves short by murmuring and complaining when we need to be accountable to God and his angel.
Thank you man if God for your accountability and blessing.
