Exodus Chapter 40

40 Days of Passion – Day 4

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Pray…that Global Missions and North American Missions be fruitful. Pray for a great awakening, revival, and harvest worldwide, and that “goodness and mercy shall follow.”

Exodus 40

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

5 And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.

6 And thou shalt set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

8 And thou shalt set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.

9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.

10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.

11 And thou shalt anoint the laver and his foot, and sanctify it.

12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.

13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.

14 And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:

15 And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.

16 Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he.

17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.

18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.

19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the Lord commanded Moses.

20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the Lord commanded Moses.

22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.

23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.

24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

25 And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord commanded Moses.

26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:

27 And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the Lord commanded Moses.

28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.

29 And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the Lord commanded Moses.

30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.

33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

  1. 32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Submission. Because of their submission not only to their man of God, but also to God himself meet they did things in the order that they were told. We too have to be just as submitted to our man of God and obey too.

  2. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

  3. 30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:

32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the Lord commanded Moses.

Cleanliness, purity is importance I. This necessary step was the one that allowed them to enter the Holy of Holies . It was a,like a second baptism that clear them of sin so they enter the Holy of Holies.

  4. Ex.40:For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day the fire was on it tabernacle by day ,and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel,
    throughout all their journeys

    Cloud
    The cloud above the tabernacle
Num.9:15 On the day the tabernacle and of the testimony was set up, the cloud covered it. from evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle look like fire

Ex.13:21 By the day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light so that they could travel by night or day.

    Fire
Psalm 78:14 He guided them with the cloud by day and with light from the fire all night .

    God go before us always!

  5. There is order in God’s Kingdom. Satan is the author of confusion and disorder. When things in our lives get disrupted taking it before the throne is what we should remember to do.

  6. In reading verses 9-15 this morning, it reminded me of my Grandma. She always had her anointing oil with her. Any need you brought before her, any hurt, or any physical issue; she would immediately pull out her oil. She would want to anoint you and pray. She would always walk around praising my God saying “Marvelous is my God” (in Spanish “Maravilloso”.

Verse 16 NIV says “Moses did everything just as the Lord commanded him.” Help us Lord to do everything just as the Lord has commanded us to do.

  7. PREPARING FOR HIS GLORY

This chapter reveals to us the responsibility of preparing the tabernacle for the GLORY of GOD. We are deceived to believe that we simply show up to a building and the GORY of GOD is there. The service and unity of the people, along with the preparation of the man of GOD were the GOD ordained formula for HIS GLORY to be manifest so strong that Moses was not able to enter.

I pray that GOD help us to recognize all the preparation, positioning and planning that goes into a single worship service. It is our goal that the GLORY of GOD fill the tabernacle every time we come together.

We don’t just show up and see GOD’s GLORY, preparations are made long before. We are assisting when we prepare our hearts and minds to enter into HIS GLORY. No sin, no burden, no grudges, but clean hands and a pure heart through thorough repentance.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork

  8. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Thus did Moses: according to all that the Lord commanded him, so did he. (‭Exodus‬ ‭40‬:‭1, 16‬ KJV)

….so Moses finished the work. V33

Obedience and Submission to GOD and the man of GOD will always bring His presence to you and lead you according to His ways.

Children, obey your parents(PASTOR) in the Lord: for this is right.

That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭1, 3‬ KJV)

  9. “Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting. The glory of the Lord filled the holy tent. Moses couldn’t enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it. The glory of the Lord filled the holy tent.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭40:34-35‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

What a sight to see! I pray that His glory cloud would fill all three services tomorrow. We need you Lord.

  10. fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel,
Jesus is the God that answers by fire he did it in exodus all the way to acts he released his fire in acts when it was like fire that sat on top of there heads in the upper room to when Elijah called down fire to show who is God to the Prophets of baal God is the same he was the same yesterday the same today and forever!!

  11. cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

It gives me great joy that we are able to experience this same glory in our time today. May the Glory of God fill our lives, our homes, and our church just as it did the tabernacle.

In verse 37 we see the importance of walking in the spirit. If we move too fast we will not be in sync with what He desires. We must yield to His Spirit and allow Him to go before us.

  12. Don’t want to go no where with out the covering of the Lord!!!

“And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys: But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭40:36-37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  13. This chapter reveals that God is a God of order. He gave Moses specific instructions down to the last detail. Moses was a good listener, and took note of what instructions he received so that the people of God could carry them out down to the final detail. His obedience brought the Glory of God into the tabernacle and produced a cloud by day and a fire by night for the people be follow.

If we as people of God can get our lives and priorities in order, aligning them with the direction of God and His word, he can experience the same type of relationship of the Lord leading our every step and detail of our life.

  14. 33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.

34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

As we are in the process of building a holy place, we are expecting a great harvest and a mighty outpouring all across this city. But let’s not wait till we get over there, let’s let glory of God fill the place we are at now! For there is still a city in need now, it’s not waiting on us to move, so neither should we! For whatever we do here will impact over there! Lets get the vision of our pastor and be church, as we impact our future together!

  15. We must learn how to stay put when the glory of the Lord is present. Too often we move before God is done with his work. When we move to soon, we miss what God has in store for us. If we stay in the glory of the Lord as long as it’s present, we can receive what God has for us.

  16. Moses submitted his self to the Lord he did exactly what the Lord command him to do
We must submit our self to our pastor and god to become a great leader
Thanks you Jesus for letting me have people over me so I can be a great leader

  17. 4 And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

1Co 14:40 Let all things  be done  decently  and  in  order.

I don’t remember when and I don’t remember who told/taught me, but they told me that the church is a temple we must keep it clean and in order. Your home is a temple keep it clean and in order. Your body is a temple keep it clean and in order. When a temple is not clean, it’s not in order. The physical reflects the spiritual, so keep your eyes open, physically and spiritually.

  18. Exodus 40:30He placed the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet. They washed whenever they entered the tent of meeting or approached the altar as the Lord commanded Moses. Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work. Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

  19. I am stuck on the passion verse today.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me… Why not lead me? What good is something that follows us? Is goodness and mercy just watching me walk through life, there to witness my faults and victories? I don’t believe so.

The word “follow” it is the Hebrew word radaph — which means “to pursue, to set off after someone in order to catch him.” So God’s goodness and mercy do not follow behind me every day — they are pursuing me in order to catch me every day.

So what does this mean? No matter how far from God we feel; He is always pursuing us with goodness and mercy to change our heart and strengthen our faith. Let’s continue to fight the fight of faith. Every trial is a gift of God’s goodness and mercy. We will either see His mercy delivering us from the trial, or satisfying and comforting us in the trial. Whenever we sin, God is pursuing us with goodness and mercy to forgive us, cleanse us, and restore us.

  20. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

Follow the cloud. The cloud represented Gods presence and will. He entered the tabernacle when it had been completed and stayed while the children of Israel were meant to stay, leaving when it was time to move on. The children couldn’t just stay in the same place thinking God showed up here once if we keep doing the same thing he will show up again, no they had to follow Gods will only then would he return to the temple when they came to the right place. Their lives depended on God leading them.

  21. Exodus 40:20

20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:

    The ark weighed between 330-440lbs
The table of shewbread was 194lbs
The altar of incense was 97lbs
The altar of sacrifice was about 196lbs

I am sure that 80 year old Moses was strong but I doubt he could lift all of these things by himself. Yet the bible says Moses placed each item including the 42 ft long curtain. Obviously this would be impossible without Samson like strength.

I believe this shows a principle of how God sees leaders and followers as one. The people under Moses’ direction placed the furniture. It took four Levites to carry the Ark and place in in its spot. But because they were submitted it says Moses did it.

We can only assume that obedience is viewed the same as disobedience. When we refuse to do what we are told under the leader then it doesn’t just hurt us but it hurts the one in authority over us. We must be careful that we remain obedient and submitted to God and his man so that God never has to judge the man of God for something we did.

  22. 9“Take the anointing oil and anoint the Tabernacle and all its furnishings to consecrate them and make them holy.

Anoint–to smear or rub with oil. Just people, even items were anointed with oil. God wants all things to be sacred when actively participating in worship or praise. This signifies God’s blessing and his will.

20 But you have been hanointed by ithe Holy One, and jyou all have knowledge.

As Christians we are all anointed to spread the Word of God.

  23. 36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

God was with them day and night as the journeyed, but if that cloud was there they stayed in one place, Awesome how in the night he provided he provided light by the fire, hes always looking out for us and doing great things.

  24. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

The glory of God came after he finished making all the preparations. We saw all the steps being done according to Gods specific instructions. God honors obedience with his blessings and glory!

  25. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
what an amazing experience it must have been to be Moses and to actually have been able to encounter the glory cloud of God. I’m amazed when I see that the children of Israel did not move unless God moved first. it is important to remember that we should not go anywhere or do anything take any specific direction in our lives unless God moves first and leads us to do that. it is important for us to order our steps in the Lord.

  26. iLove to grow in the Word

34Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glory of the lord filled the Tabernacle. 35Moses could no longer enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled down over it, and the glory of the lord filled the Tabernacle. (NLT)

Wow, what an amazing sight that would be. This same cloud of Glory can still enter the tabernacle today. I pray the Lord would fill this church building along with all the people in it tomorrow morning and that there would be a mighty move of God!

  27. 38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

There was a fire that fell in our youth prayer meeting last night. Wow. The November of God was very strong. That I you Jesus for the movement of your spirit.

  28. 33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate.

This whole chapter reveals of Submission, Relationship Availibility that moses had with God. Moses had submitted his life and his time to God. Each time I seen in this chapter that God has commanded moses to prepared the tabernacle this way or that way, there was no questions asked he just did it. He trusted in God because he had an Relationship with God. Moses knew that it wasn’t about him but its about saving souls.
It also reminded me of our church building process that it just not a pretty building going up and how we shouldn’t take it lightly. We need to pray that God gives us the resources, whether it be money, your time, or support. Everyone must work together so the work of the Lord can be done!! God will do a work with you or without you. You can be replaced.

  29. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.

3 And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.

God wants to set up the tabernacle on the first day of the first month and place the ark of the testimony in it and have it covered with the vail .

Here again God trusted Moses to follow his commands in setting up the tabernacle so Aron and his sons would minister.

  30. Ex: 40:38
“For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.”

Just as the presence of the Lord was with the children of Israel throughout all their journeys, the presence of the Lord is with us too throughout our journeys in this life.
Hebrews 13:5b says, “… for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.”
St. Matthew 28:20b says, “… and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”

So Thankful for the Spirit of God that lives within us, and that He is always with us wherever we go!

  31. The ark is now set up in its enclosure . Then symbolism both God’s acceptance of their work and God’s living presence with his people a cloud covered the entire worship center and God’s glory settled with in the tabernacle
There’s great satisfaction in doing God’s work in his way
What is our response to.such.revelations of God.to.be. We are to glory in his holy.name worshiping.and praising Him for.who.he.is.

  32. 38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

It can be easy to forget that the same glory that upon the tabernacle with the people of Israel is with us today. We can have the same cloud of glory fall over the POFW if we just believe that it will happen. And just like Bro Greene teached about in overnight prayer, if we can learn to feel, see and sense in the spiritual, God can give us the ability to sense his glory cloud over our lives.

When we do that, than we can fulfil the second part of this verse, a fire by night. We can be a flame, a light in the darkness around us in the world today for everyone to see, to see that they can find salvation in Jesus Christ.

All we need is the PASSION to seek God and to follow him and obey his word, to walk in his steps for our lives. And from there we can catch the fire of his glory and God can use us like a kindling in a flame, and we can catch other people on fire for Jesus, and it can draw the lost to the light of God where they can find salvation.

  33. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

  34. 38 For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

This verse really stuck out to me through reading this and praying about the blog for today. God revealed to me that the church is a place of not only refuge and a tabernacle but its a place to where we can come to him AND learn how to be on fire for him and not the things of this world or other life problems.

  35. First things first

7 And thou shalt set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shalt put water therein.

Having a clean heart and clean hands are the first thing in ministry.
Without the laver we cannot serve the Lord. Although this world is dirty and sinful that we live in, the Lord gives us opritunity to clean up so that we can be with him. We should lave our problems at the door of our church so that when we come to the altar we can effectively minister. We don’t lay our diet that we should have washed off at the altar, but we wash it at the door. The altar has to be clean so that our sacrifice is not tainted. We can offer a pure sacrifice. Thank God for the laver

  36. v35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

After all the glories HE has provided for us,we should adore, worship, love and serve HIM, but never take HIM for granted.
How I love my Holy GHOST!!! Those that are HOLY GHOST filled are never blinded to the glories of GOD.

  37. “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying” “And thou shalt set”. The word of God (Jesus) said he spoke unto Moses, and then said shalt; not if you feel like it. One should not become offended or think it doesn’t matter, as that would be very unwise. Dear God, help me to be observant and obedient to “thou shalt”; “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  38. “Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.” Would the glory of the Lord be present if Moses and the children of Israel had not obeyed, is the question. God help us to understand that blessings are in obeying, in Jesus name.

  39. 34 Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle. (NLT)

WOW!! What an experience this would have been. Notice though the verse just before it ends with, “So at last Moses finished the work.” Work must first be done; no one said following such detailed orders to build things for the Lord would be easy. What I do know though, is that it will all be worth it in the end! Let’s work and obey “just as the Lord commands” so that we can grow His kingdom.

  40. 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

    Tarry before the lord!

  41. 13 And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office.

    The qualification to Minister

When we are trying to get a job with a company, there is a application process needed to even start the hiring procedure. Most if not all applications require to fill a section called qualifications. Basically, we need to state what makes us the a perfect candidate. Do we meet the minimum conditions of employment.

    Hebrews 12:14 KJV
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

I have seen more now than before the importance of holiness, not that we will ever be perfect but that we would continually pursue it in an effort to not give place worldliness, carnality, or place to the enemy.

  42. 33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

How amazing God blessed Moses because he finished his work. Just think about how God can bless you if you finish your work. It may just be God telling you to go talk to a person and invited them to church. But just listing to God and finishing what he said, the blessing of God that will come to you is amazing!

  43. Moses did everything just as the LORD commanded him (NIV 40:16)

Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house,” bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. (Hebrews 3:5)

We must obey the WORD of GOD and be willing to submit to the man of GOD.

Thankful for the authority GOD his placed in my life!!

  44. Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it. But if the cloud did not rise, they remained where they were until it lifted.
    Exodus 40:36-37 NLT

Another lesson on waiting on the Lord. When God says its ok to move and do something then we are ok to do it but if He says its not time then we cant move.

  45. “He placed the Washbasin between the Tent of Meeting and the Altar, and filled it with water for washing. Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and feet there. When they entered the Tent of Meeting and when they served at the Altar, they washed, just as GOD had commanded Moses.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭40:30-32‬ ‭MSG‬‬

Not only does this chapter give insight on instructions of how God wanted everything displayed in the temple, it initiated a response God expected before the people approached him. We are to wash ourselves from this world through a repentive heart before we can approach the altar of God.

  46. 36. And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:

    37. But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.

When we try to act or move without God it never works. When we learn to be sensitive to His moving and move with His timing and permission, we will see even greater works done among us and a great harvest for His kingdom!

  47. When we try to act or move without God it never works. When we learn to be sensitive to His moving and move with His timing and permission, we will see even greater works done among us and a great harvest for His kingdom!

  48. 30 And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.

Im thankful for the blood and His name because of his Love and passion i can be washed wtihal from the waters of baptism and be washed of all my sin.

  49. I believe that the appearance of a glory cloud is to be a physical manifestation of our God’s presence in the form of a glittery cloud that lingers over worship services. The first biblical reference to God’s presence in a cloud is found in Exodus 13:21. As the Israelites moved toward the Promised Land, “the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night. Thank you lord for your glorious presence that surrenders us of our everyday life!!! In Jesus Name!!!

  50. It’s time to BBQ

God loves the smell of the burnt offering. What are some things we can burn off in our lives to please God with the fragrance of sacrifice? Passion? 35 more days of offerings!!

  51. The cloud covered the tabernacle even in the clearest day; it was not a cloud which the sun scatters. This cloud was a token of God’s presence to be seen day and night, by all Israel, that they might never again question, Is the Lord among us, or is he not? It guided the camp of Israel through the wilderness. While the cloud rested on the tabernacle, they rested; when it removed, they followed it. The glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. In light and fire the Shechinah made itself visible: God is Light; our God is a consuming Fire. Yet so dazzling was the light, and so dreadful the fire, that Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, till the splendour was subsided. But what Moses could not do, our Lord Jesus has done, whom God caused to draw near; and who has invited us to come boldly, even to the mercy-seat. Being taught by the Holy Spirit to follow the example of Christ, as well as to depend upon him, to attend his ordinances, and obey his precepts, we shall be kept from losing our way, and be led in the midst of the paths of judgment, till we come to heaven, the habitation of his holiness.

  52. Exodus 40:34
Then the cloud cover the tabernacle of meating , and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

We are a living tabernacle, our lives must be cover and filled by the glory of the Lord. That why is important to be a living sacrifice. Obtaining from the ways of this world.

  53. (MSG)9-11 “Then take the anointing oil and anoint The Dwelling and everything in it; consecrate it and all its furnishings so that it becomes holy. Anoint the Altar of Whole-Burnt-Offering and all its utensils, consecrating the Altar so that it is completely holy. Anoint the Washbasin and its base: consecrate it.

We should consecrate ourselves daily, so that we may be one day completely holy.
Thank you Jesus for your word and understanding! I love you.

  54. 4 And Moses did as the Lord commanded him; and the assembly was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

5 And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the Lord commanded to be done.
Things flow better, when everyone is coming together in unity to do the work of the lord. Moses was submitted to God. God commanded moses what he wanted to be done. Moses made sure he did what God wanted. Obedience is better than sacrifice!
