Leviticus 3

1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

3 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Lord.

8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

9 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

10 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

11 And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the Lord.

12 And if his offering be a goat, then he shall offer it before the Lord.

13 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of it, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle the blood thereof upon the altar round about.

14 And he shall offer thereof his offering, even an offering made by fire unto the Lord; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

15 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away.

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

  1. In reading this chapter this morning, it made me think of how important it is to bring our very best before the Lord. It is in fact all the Lord’s anyway. In the CEV this chapter is captioned with “Sacrifices To Ask the Lord’s Blessing”. We all want the blessing’s of God upon us; but, are we willing to give? Help us Lord as we pray our project prayer card and pray for a heart of sacrifice and a desire to give. JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

  2. 1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

When we offer a offing unto God it should be without blemish. Meaning everything about my offering should be flawless.

The offering itself, its integrity, and my heart. Everything about it literally, morally, and spiritually should be without fault. It should match so closely with His word that others would think He prepared it for us.

    #GiveFlawlessly

  3. 17. It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

    A. The fat (this type meaning the best part of the animal) was reserved for God only, because He deserves the best.

    B. They are learning that the blood is special and should not be taken for granted as a common thing.

  4. 1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd, whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

  5. As with any other offering, when you bring a peace offering unto the Lord there are several specifications. You cannot bring whatever you chose to the Lord and expect his to accept it. Bring to the Lord what he has deemed good and he will accept your offering made by fire. It shall rise up to him as a sweet savour.

  6. We Should Always Give God The Best

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

There are two ways to look upon this in the Spiritual way God Always deserves the best part of us. Fat contains a lot of flavor and the blood is life. At the same time the last verse tells us not to eat fat nor blood. I know that this is the old covenant but I can not stop thinking that if we were to eat the way they ate we might be a lot healthier. If our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost shouldn’t we care and keep this temple in a better shape for HE DESERVES THE BEST. Lord help us meditate in your word and keep your temple immaculate awaiting our groom bride. In Jesus Name Amen

  7. 1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

Whatever our offering is, it should be given to the Lord joyfully.

2Co_9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

  8. “” ‘Then the priests who are in Aaron’s family line must burn it on the altar. They must burn it on top of the burnt offering on the burning wood. ” ‘It is an offering that is made with fire. It gives a smell that is pleasant to the Lord.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

Lord, I pray that my worship would always be made with fire and gives a smell that is pleasant to you Lord.

    Let the sweet aroma
    of worship fill this room.
Let it rise before the Savior
    like a fragrant sweet perfume.
Let our songs of praise be pleasing
    and our sacrifice consume.
     As a sweet aroma
    of worship fills this room

  9. 16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.
17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

On a cow there are some very tasty cut of meat which most steak houses charge more for, one being the T-bone. On the T-bone, the best part is the smaller side, it is richer, full of juices, and oh so tender where it is on the inside of the cow, protected, near the organs. That would be a section of the “fat”. As such, this shows us that we need to give Jesus our best when we sacrifice.

  10. Exodus 13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

PRAISE IS SUCH A MIGHTY BLESSING TO THEM THAT WILL WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, FOR ONLY HE IS WORTHY OF ALL OUR PRAISE!!!

  11. iLove to grow in the Word

Reading these scriptures lets us know just how bloody and gory the worship of the Almighty is. He requires blood to cover sin. This worship of God wasn’t as easy as just killing an animal, but it involved cleaning the inside of the animal. Many times in the scripture the Word says the He knows our hearts and reins. The word reins means kidney. God is referring to the sacrifices that would come before the altar. He knows what’s in the inside of each and everyone of us.

  12. THE SACRIFICIAL OFFERING

6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

Often GOD is offered the “leftovers” of our life; the time, talent and treasure that is offered to HIM is frequently less than our best.

A peace offering unto the LORD.

How much is peace worth in our lives?

The sacrificial offering described above is a peace offering. We are to bring an offering of self to worship GOD without blemish. It is very important that we have thoroughly repented before we come before the LORD to worship HIM.

The financial offerings that we give the LORD should be with “no strings attached”. We are giving it to GOD and it should be HOLY. From a pure heart with pure motives and with a pure conscience.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  13. 7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Lord.

8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

  14. 1 ‘If a man’s offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord. (AMP)

Our offerings should be sacrificial and of our very best. From the sounds of these last few chapters I don’t think God wants our half hearted, “oh no I forgot,” please take “all” that I have LEFT offerings.

  15. We should come to the lord before the congregation with a sacrifice for praise and grasp our burdens and remove them from our minds and heart to come into God’s presence with a peaceful and clean heart.

  16. 1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

    Without Blemish!
    He receives the Best!

  17. I feel the passion growing!!

My thoughts are becoming consumed with the passion scripture and prayer direction.

The ability to separate personal opinion from God’s words is crucial when addressing His people; whether from the pulpit or in the check-out line at the grocery store. Understanding the voice of God and His leadings and the ability to discern His voice from that of our own and the enemy takes practice. We have to grow in our abilities to reach this world. The best way to improve this ability is to practice. After we understand the difference we need to employ wisdom to use this knowledge. Some people may not be ready to hear they are going to hell. They may need to know more about how God can heal their emotional turmoil before they hear about a lake of fire and gnashing of teeth.

  18. Lev. 3:1-5 The peace offerings had regard to God as the giver of all good things. These were divided between the altar, the priest, and the owner. They were called peace -offering because in them God and His people did as it were, feast together, in token of friendship. The peace -offerings were offered by way of supplication. If a man wear in pursuit of any mercy, he would add a peace – offering to his prayer for it. Christ is our peace, are peace offering, for through him alone it is that we can obtain an answer a piece to our prayers. Or, the peace offering was offered by way of thanksgiving for some mercy received. We must offer to God the sacrifice of praise continually, by Christ our peace; and then this shall please Lord better than an ox or bullock.

  19. 5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

The MSG version says this “Aaron and his sons will burn it on the Altar along with the Whole-Burnt-Offering that is on the wood prepared for the fire: a Fire-Gift, a pleasing fragrance to God.”

Our sacrifice to the Lord should be a “fire-gift” from us to God. In order for that to happen we must be “holy ghost” hot in offering our sacrificial praise.
We cannot allow the fire of the Spirit to grow dim. We must stoke it everyday with the Word of God and prayer.

  20. “If you present an animal from the herd as a peace offering to the LORD, it may be a male or a female, but it must have no defects. Lay your hand on the animal’s head, and slaughter it at the entrance of the Tabernacle. Then Aaron’s sons, the priests, will splatter its blood against all sides of the altar. The priest must present part of this peace offering as a special gift to the LORD. This includes all the fat around the internal organs, (‭Leviticus‬ ‭3‬:‭1-3‬ NLT)

Is my peace offering truly a sacrifice unto The Lord? I pray that it is and that i’give its my all’ to be pleasing u to Him.

  21. 5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

Lord let my worship and sacrifice be pleasant in your eyes, and give off a sweet aroma! That I would come before you with a clean heart and offer my praise and give my sacrifice!

  22. It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

God could have just let them just figure it out, but he didn’t, he really showed compassion on his people, he God wanted the fat of the meat for himself I can only assume that he meant the best of the animal. He always had the priests to sprinkle blood all around as a sanctification, If I just deny myself the “FAT” and give it to God how pleasing to him will that be!

    Growing in his word

  24. 16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

Like Pastor said what type of sense are we sending to God. Is it a sweet smell or a ripe smell??? What do you have in your heart…. Joy o anger? Holiness o Evil? Whatever you do The Lord sees it and knows your intention. As we continue the 40 days of Passion let everything that is not of God be burned and let that sweet smell be sent to heaven. Hallelujah!!!

  25. The fat

    Leviticus 3:16

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

The juiciest, tastiest, and most flavorful piece of meat is that yummy layer of fat. That which once provided warmth and protection, once cooked becomes a tasty treat that many in ancient times wanted for themselves. Jesus said “give it to me.”

He deserves our best no matter what. He wants our first fruits of increase, and the best of our offerings. His way not our way. The best of our time, talent, and treasure. He doesn’t want our leftovers. He wants the best part of the main course. But you can have the steak.

  26. 6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

7 If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the Lord.

If you give your offering sacrificially and not grudgingly God will bless you and if you feel like God didn’t bless you just praise him anyway he may not have blessed you with money but he may have saved you from a car wreck, just praise him anyway!!

  27. And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace offering an offering made by fire unto the Lord ; the fat thereof, and the whole rump, it shall he take off hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

  28. In this chapter we have the law concerning the peace-offerings, whether they were of the heard, a bullock or a heifer (v. 1-5) or of the flock, either a lamb (v. 6-11) or a goat (v. 12-17). Turtle-doves or young pigeons, which might be brought for whole burnt offerings, were not allowed for peace-offerings, because they have no fat considerable enough to be burnt upon the altar like in vs 9-10; and they would be next to nothing if they were to be divided according to the law of the peace-offerings. The animals here were required to be without spot or blemish to God as in himself is most perfect and excellent. They were to be divided between the altar, the priest, and the owner as a peace offering which signifies reconciliation, and communion. The owner slew the animal, the priest burned it, and God would recieve it as a pleasing aroma. These were called peace-offerings, because in them God and his people feasted together, in token of fellowship and friendship. Jesus is our prince of peace, because we must chose his peace to become the King within us. When we come to him with a offering of peace he recognizes us as his friend. I am a friend of God.

John 15:15 “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

  29. IDENTIFY

8 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle the blood thereof round about upon the altar.

By laying his hands on the head sacrifice he identified himself with the sacrifice because he knew he was nothing more than a sinner that needed the grace of God. Thru its death and purification it because and covering for his sin. Jesus I want my sacrifice not only to be excepted but also have a sweet smelling savor. I want my sacrifice to get my creator attention. How many time has God had mercy on us and excepted a sacrifice that we could have done a whole lot better? God is a merciful God, but we should never take his grace for granted but rather repent of our sins!

  30. Lev. 3:6-7
    6) And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the LORD be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.
    7) If he offer a lamb for his offering, then shall he offer it before the LORD.

We were redeemed “But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.”

JESUS is the “spotless” Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the whole world.”

  31. 17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

Thank you Jesus. You are and were the ultimate sacrifice. You died for the whole worlds sins.

  32. Zebach Sh’lamim: Peace Offering

A peace offering is an offering expressing thanks or gratitude to God for His bounties and mercies. The Hebrew term for this type of offering is zebach sh’lamim (or sometimes just sh’lamim), which is related to the word shalom, meaning peace or wholeness. A representative portion of the offering is burnt on the altar, a portion is given to the kohanim, and the rest is eaten by the offerer and his family; thus, everyone gets a part of this offering. This category of offerings includes thanksgiving-offerings, free will-offerings, and offerings made after fulfillment of a vow. Note that this class of offerings has nothing to do with sin, and could properly be brought by the most righteous of the righteous.

It’s interesting to note that this offering was given at the completion or fulfillment of a vow.

  33. 6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offering unto the Lord be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

An offering for a sacrifice of peace that we give unto the Lord should be perfect and without blemish. The Lord deserves our complete and sincere peace offering otherwise it be unacceptable to the Lord. It’s my desire to decrease so God can increase in my life and give let him grow in me so I can shine for him.

  34. 16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

  35. Just as God is blemish free and pure, our offering should be the same to reflect God! He deserves the first of our fruit always!

  36. (16) all the fat is the Lord’s.

Fat (02459): the richest or choice part, best.

Parts of the animal were consumed on the altar but the meat was consumed by worshipers. The fat (the best) was the Lords.

lf you jump to 1Samuel 2:15-16. Eli’s sons were taking parts of the sacrifices before they were offered to God on the altar and they ate the meat before the fat was burned off. They treated the offering casually and with contempt. (v17) this sin of the young men was very great in the Lord’s sight…

  37. The blood of the sacrifice was upon and sprinkled round about the altar. We all need an altar in our lives. It’s at an altar that we sacrifice our will, lay down our burdens, and repent of our sins. It’s at that altar we make that the blood of the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus Christ, meets us. His blood washes us clean. But without an altar we can’t have that experience. His blood will not just decide to clean us while we are out walking down the street thinking about anything other than God. His blood meets us at an altar.

  38. Blemish-Free

1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

Back in 9th grade, a friend of mine was ordering her varsity jacket and commented about something the manufacturer said: due to the fact that the cattle roam free in their pastures, small blemishes and scars may occur if they brushed up against barbed wire fences or hurt each other or otherwise ran into some of the natural “perils” of life as a cow. It is natural in life to get scars and blemishes but God desires that which is whole. When we come to Him, we are broken and scarred but He makes us whole and cleanses us and heals us of our blemishes.

  39. NLT 16 ) and the priest will burn them on the altar it is a special gift of food a pleasing aroma to the Lord all the fat belongs to the Lord . 17) You must never eat any fat or blood this is a permanent law for you and it must be observed from generation to generation wherever you live

  40. IF A man’s offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.
    Leviticus 3:1 AMP
    http://bible.com/8/lev.3.1.AMP

The Lord Jesus gave his all for us that we may have life. Sometimes we may not give the entire wieght of the price he paid that sacrifice of Love for our salvation. We should offer offerings and praise that is a demonstration of that gratirude for such salvation. He washes us and cleans us through his blood that we are able to presented without blemish.
Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]– To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it).
    Jude 1:24-25 AMP
    http://bible.com/8/jud.1.24-25.AMP

  41. 17“You must never eat any fat or blood. This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation, wherever you live.”

These sacrifices were peace offerings to the Lord. We give him the best. We enjoy peace with God by giving Him the best (represented by the fat) and by giving Him our lives (represented by the blood).

  42. “If you present an animal from the herd as a peace offering to the Lord , it may be a male or a female, but it must have no defects. Lay your hand on the animal’s head, and slaughter it at the entrance of the Tabernacle. Then Aaron’s sons, the priests, will splatter its blood against all sides of the altar.
    Leviticus 3:1-2 NLT

Before ever entering the house of God id we have any anger against any one or problems with them we must first present them and leave rhem at rhe door before we enter the house of the Lord.

  43. 17. This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings; you shall eat neither fat nor blood .”

  44. 17. This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings ; you shall eat neither fat nor blood .”

  45. v17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwelling, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD, and HE will not share HIS glory or worship with another.

  46. 16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.
The best belongs to the Lord.
these verses show the importance I’ve giving God our best.. Deserves our first fruits he deserves our best efforts he deserves our talents he deserves our gifts and he deserves our money. today we do not sacrifice bulls and goats but we can offer a sacrifice of praise! And we can give up our talent, time, and treasure.

  47. “And the priest shall burn them upon the altar”. The word of God (Jesus) states the priest shall do it. Although others could potentially perform the process, one would be very wise too reverence the Judge (Jesus) appointed position. Dear God, let us (me) mindful of your processes; “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  48. “And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.” The act was to be done at the door. There are advantages of doing the same, just as there are disadvantages of not. We should “kill it at the door” before it enters our eyes, ears, or heart. God help us see the benefits of obedience, in Jesus name.

  49. 1: And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

In our spiritual offerings, it is not the sex, but the heart, that God looks at.

In Christ’s family there can be no division into Jew and non-Jew, slave and free, male and female. Among us you are all equal. That is, we are all in a common relationship with Jesus Christ. Also, since you are Christ’s family, then you are Abraham’s famous “descendant,” heirs according to the covenant promises. (Galatians 3:28-29) MSG

  50. The Peace-Offering (MSG)
16-17 “All the fat belongs to God. This is the fixed rule down through the generations, wherever you happen to live: Don’t eat the fat; don’t eat the blood. None of it.”

  51. Don’t get distracted with what everyone else is doing. Focus on what God is saying. When you bring your offering before the Lord, you have to bring it the right way if you want it to acceptable. God’s word gives us instructions on how to offer our best to him. When we follow what God has put into place our blessing is next in line.

  52. The Best of the Best!

16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire for a sweet savour: all the fat is the Lord’s.

The fat is what makes the meat flavorful and juicy. When we parallel this to a spiritual application I believe he’s telling us that qhen we bring our best offering there is one more step to take. The worship. The worship into the Lord becomes the fat or the best part of your sacrifice. Some stop too soon at the praises. We need to continue to till the tears and fullness of worship comes.

  53. 1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

Help me Lord help me became the best before you eyes.
    Amen

  54. 1 And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

Help me Lord help me became the best before your eyes.
    Amen.

  55. “and Aaron’s sons will burn them on top of the burnt offering on the wood burning on the altar. It is a special gift, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We should all want to give off a pleasing aroma to God. With everything we sacrifice to God it should be a special gift that brings a sweet aroma.

One definition of sacrifice, “an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy.”

A sacrifice is not something easy to do, but if we focus on the end result and have faith in God then it becomes a joyful sacrifice. A joyful sacrifice is a true sacrifice staying positive through the tough times.

We need to stay joyful through the sacrifices in our walk with God and through the faith and joy we have it will allow us to grow in a mighty way.

  56. Laying the hand on the head of the animal was symbolic of passing the judgement from man to the animal. The people were not absolved of guilt for this but rather the animal became a surrugant for the punishment of death.

  57. Consumption

17 It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

When we eat something. We consume it. It becomes a part of us and we can not take it away. We can rid our bodies of it through getting rid of excess/waste, but you can not fully get rid of it as it is consumed. In the Bible the fat is the anointing and the blood is the blood that was shed for our sin–Jesus. We can not consume either one of these things. We can try for containment, but you can objectives.

  58. And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offer it of the herd; whether it be a male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

    Thank God for the blood!

  59. 5 And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.

It’s was a sweet savour, God delights in it, he lingers in the aroma. Wow what an amazing revelation, how it is pleasant to God.

    1 Samuel 15:22
And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

But if we were to be obedient? This is how we show Jesus that we truly love him.

    John 14:15
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

  60. I’ve learned that The Peace Offering of all the offerings, the sin and trespass offerings are the best known and understood because of their clear association with Christ’s crucifixion for the sins of the world. At the other end of the spectrum, the peace offering is the least understood because its symbolism, while easy to grasp, is perhaps the most difficult to experience in actual practice. IN JESUS NAME!!!
