Leviticus 4

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

4 And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock’s head, and kill the bullock before the Lord.

5 And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock’s blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:

6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the Lord, before the vail of the sanctuary.

7 And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

8 And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.

16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

17 And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord, even before the vail.

18 And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the Lord, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

19 And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21 And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

22 When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

24 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the Lord: it is a sin offering.

25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

26 And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

29 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the Lord; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

32 And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

33 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

  1. So grateful this morning for the Lord’s mercy, grace and love in making a way for me to be forgiven. In Romans 3:23 AMP it says “since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God,”…..in our daily walk with the Lord, it is a growing process and a continual prayer asking the Lord to forgive us daily. We sometimes knowingly and also unknowingly do things that are against God’s holy nature and we must repent. We also have to have a forgiving heart, if we desire to be forgiven also. In the MSG version of Romans 3:21-24 it says “But in our time something new has been added. What Moses and the prophets witnessed to all those years has happened. The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we’re in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ.” JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

  2. iLove to grow in the Word

    Leviticus 4:3 NLT “If the high priest sins, bringing guilt upon the entire community, he must give a sin offering for the sin he has committed. He must present to the LORD a young bull with no defects.

    Basically, throughout this entire chapter, the Word continues to emphatically declare that it doesn’t matter if we meant to sin or not, our sin brings the whole family down and requires divine intervention. Thank You Jesus for the blood

  3. Individuals could find atonement only for unintentional sins. But on the annual Day of Atonement the high priest make a unique sacrifice for.all.the sins of God’s people. There really is a difference between sins we commit unintentionally and conscious willful disobedience of God’s command.

  4. When we sin, we have an example to follow to get forgiveness:
    Plead the blood and leave a sacrifice of repentance on the altar, then ‘burn’ what’s left of it so that we can’t go back to it.

  5. 5 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

  6. Proverbs 9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. 10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well-advised is wisdom. 11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:but he that gathereth by labor shall increase.

  7. Be humble in all things.

    Humility is not always easy yet it is necessary. It takes a humble individual to come to the terms that they unintentionally hurt someone or made a mistake and now I must freely and cheerfully offer a sacrifice for something I did not intend to do.

    The principal is this, regardless of one’s intentions there is a break in the bond of unity and it must be taken care of.

    It is important that we not allow our intentions to kill His plan. If my intentions is the grow that His seed has to be planted in i must be flexible. So that in my ignorance I can do what’s needed to stay right with Him and others.

    • Correction:

      It is important that we not allow our intentions to kill His plan. If our “intentions” is the ground that His seed has to be planted in, we must be flexible. So that in our ignorance we can do what’s needed to stay right with Him and others.

  8. 1-12 God spoke to Moses: “Tell the Israelites, When a person sins unintentionally by straying from any of God’s commands, breaking what must not be broken, if it’s the anointed priest who sins and so brings guilt on the people, he is to bring a bull without defect to God as an Absolution-Offering for the sin he has committed. (MSG)

    As I read the chapter this morning, I was astonished by the Mercy we live in today. The sins we commit come with a cost, yet by the Grace of the Cross we do not have to bring a bull or lamb for the cost of our sins.

    I pray the Lord will ignite a spirit of gratitude, that would spread like a fire! Too many times we take for granted the blessings we live in today, yet tonight when we are freely allowed to enter His Tabernacle to worship replace the “bull blood” with a Praise He is Worthy Of!

  9. Leviticus 4:19
    And he shall take all his fat from him and burn it upon the alter.
    We must go to the alter and pray so we have Jesus everyday More Jesus and Grow with Jesus. Amen

  10. Praise the Lord that when we sin there is a way for that sin to be forgiven. Now that way is through Jesus and his death, burial and resurrection. We must die to ourselves, be baptized in His name and receive the Holy Ghost.

  11. If it sounds like a duck and looks like a duck is it a duck?

    I believe a sin is a sin. No matter the magnitude of the sin; sin is sin. However, according to our reading this morning there was a different price to be paid for the level of heinousness of the sin. It is repeated several times “sin through ignorance”. I believe this is sin in accordance to us forgetting our responsibilities either because of ignorance (not knowing better), or because we stumbled before we were aware. The other type of sin is purposeful. We know it is wrong before we do but we do it anyway.

    Luke 12:47-48 The servant who knows what his master wants and ignores it, or insolently does whatever he pleases, will be thoroughly thrashed. But if he does a poor job through ignorance, he’ll get off with a slap on the hand. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities!

  12. 27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
    28 Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

    Why is it a “she goat” for a common individual, and a “he goat ” for a ruler?

    We all know that sin brings death when it is finished. Could it be that the male goat is to be used to symbolize that the entire people would quit, and the female that the family would stop. As you see a single male goat can service many females and the herd will continue to grow, but take him away, and the herd dies. With a female, the whole herd still survives, but that family line stops when she dies. Although other branches might continue to live, her fork does not. When we translate this to people, and even to families today, we get a powerful revelation as to the price paid by Christ on the cross, when he laid his life down for us.

    • Another thought to go with it, Just because you might not see yourself as a leader, doesn’t mean that Jesus doesn’t. Remember, David was a ruddy shepherd boy when God called him to be a king. Moses was a fugitive of the law when God called him to lead His people out of Egypt. Peter was a fisherman when Jesus called him to be the person to reveal to us the plan of salvation…

  13. I am so grateful for the blood of Jesus! Whether we recognize our sin as we commit it or not, He continues to be merciful. We must remember not to take it for granted though; we are to come before His altar with repentance in our hearts and pray His blood would wash us white as snow once again.

  14. A bloody place

    Every sin was covered by blood and it always will be. Jesus is the perpetuation of he sin offering into the Lord. His blood never ends. Church’s all over are getting away from preaching about the blood because they say it is offensive when really the sin that makes the blood necessary is the offense. These altars were a bloody mess. If we could only see all the blood shed across our altars today covering our sin we may be more careful and mindful of the cost of our sin. It’s a very greusom sight to see but only by the blood are we forgiven. When sin is finished it brings forth death.

  15. IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE

    13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
    14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

    We see the value of GROW here in this passage. As we GROW in GOD through PRAYER and the WORD of GOD, we will be MORE aware of the laws of GOD. Our awareness of the laws of GOD, present us greater opportunity to repent or offer sacrifice on the altar to the LORD for sin in our lives that we were not aware of.

    We MUST
    2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    We MUST
    Pray to JESUS and ask HIM to reveal to us any thought or activity in our lives that is not pleasing to HIM. Every sin or violation must be atoned through blood sacrifice.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  16. Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any one shall sin unwittingly, in any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to be done, and shall do any one of them: if the anointed priest shall sin so as to bring guilt on the people, then let him offer for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Jehovah for a sin-offering. (‭Leviticus‬ ‭4‬:‭2-3‬ ASV)

    Thank the Lord for conviction and not condemnation! The ultimate sacrifice that He gave of Himself, so that I may come to him with a heart of repentance and turn away from sin!!! I am definitely BLESSED and not cursed because of His blood that was shed on Calvary!

    Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ KJV)

  17. 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

    3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

    How blessed are we that God died on the cross for our sins so that we can be forgiven without bringing an animal as an offering. All we have to do is bring our sin before him in a sincere spirit of humility and repentance and we will be forgiven! It is only our own ignorance if we do not confess our faults before the one true merciful God!!

  18. Leviticus 4:3 “If the high priest sins, bringing guilt upon the entire community, he must give a sin offering for the sin he has committed. He must present to the LORD a young bull with no defects. NLT

  19. Leviticus 4:3“If the high priest sins, bringing guilt upon the entire community, he must give a sin offering for the sin he has committed. He must present to the LORD a young bull with no defects. NLT

  20. This chapter makes me Thankful for the Blood of Jesus Christ. It’s His Blood that cleanses us from all sin. (1John 1:7)
    How blessed we are that we do not have to bring an “animal sacrifice” everytime we sin, but Jesus died and shed His Blood and became the “final” sacrifice for all of that. All we have to do is… (“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John 1:9)… come to him with a repentant heart and confess our sins, and He will forgive us.

    Thank You JESUS for shedding your blood for us and for forgiving and cleansing us from our sins!

  21. Get Healthier

    I don’t know if God is dealing with me about my own health, but as I read this verse, all I could think is about getting healthier for my Lord. I know God has a will upon my life, a mission that I must carry out, for that I need to be healthier. It seems possible that may be we must sacrifice our own flesh, our own fat needs to be burn (through exercise) as a sacrifice to God. I know one think for sure, that when God gives you a promise of what He will do in your life, He will carry it through the end. I am not giving up that easy, I will stand against whatever comes my way, sacrifice whatever needs to be sacrifice for His Purpose to be done in my life. Lord help us be an instrument for your will. In Jesus Name AMEN.

  22. 35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the Lord: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

  23. When sins are committed, even unintentionally, the Isrealites are held accountable and a sacrifice of blood is required for their sin. In a sin offering, the guilt is transfered to the animal to be sacrificed through the laying on of hands. After the animal is slaughtered some of the blood of the sacrifice- a substitute for the sinners own blood- is spread in the horns of the altar of incense. Smoke frome the incense becomes a pleasing aroma to God. Several different animals could be given as a sin offering, depending on the persons income; the greater the position the greater the responsiblity. For the sins of the high priest: a bull must be sacrified; for a leader: a male goat; for standard Isrealite a female goat or a lamb; for the poor: two doves or two pigeons; and for the very poor: an offering of fine flour. The blood of Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for our salvation, exepting us from having to perform sin offerings such as the Isaeliteshere. This principle pertains to us today, for the person who is trusted with much in his kingdom is required of or is to be accountable for more.

    Luke 12:48 “..From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”

  24. 13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

    As I’m reading this I’m thanking God for Jesus and The sin offering he made for us on the cross, and how By His Blood our Sins are forgiven, and all we need to do is Repent, be Baptized in the name of Jesus and Be baptized in the Holy Ghost, no bullocks, lambs, God really had mercy on us, and I can’t comprehend the magnitude of his Love because I know I’m not worthy, but HE THOUGHT I WAS.
    Growing in Passion!

  25. 23 Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

    The importance of repentance on a daily basis is evident in this chapter. If his sin comes to his knowledge……. searching our hearts in our daily prayer time will allow God to reveal any hidden sins we may have so that we can repent of them.

    How sad to get to judgement day and have sins that are still unrevealed in our lives and be cast to outer darkness.

    It is the grace and mercy of the Lord that leads us to repentance. We shouldn’t be afraid to repent and ask the Lord to search our hearts so that everything is under the blood, known and unknown, on a daily basis.

  26. 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

    The Holy One who hnew no sin, God make Him sin for us; The Savior died our souls to win, Upon the shameful cross. His precious blood aloe availed to wash our sins away; Through weakeness He o’er hell prevailed ,Through death He won the day.

  27. Leviticus 4:22 when a lead leader sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the commandments of the Lord his God when he realizes his guild and the sin he has committed becomes known he must bring asome his offering a male goat without defect. He is to lay his hand on the goats head and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the Lord it is a sin offering then the priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering with his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of the burnt offering and pour out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. He shall burn all the fat on the altar as he burn the fat of the fellowship offering in this way the priest will make an atonement for the leader sin and he will be forgiven for.

    Jesus died as a lamp led to the slaughter to die for my sins he shed his blood for forgiveness of sin to all mankind thank you Jesus you are an awesome.

  28. Atonement for sin requires dying and the blood, whether it is the death of the animal or our repentance and dying to self. We must die daily and be covered by his atoning blood. His blood is applied to our lives when we are baptized in his Name-in the name of Jesus, and we must continually keep this covering upon our lives to stand before Him without spot or blemish. I’m thankful for the blood.

  29. For us to err, with the Bible in our hands,is the effect of pride, sloth, and carelessness. We need to use frequent self-examination, with serious study of the Scriptures, and earnest prayer for the convincing influences of God the Holy Spirit; that we may detect our sins of ignorance, repent, and obtain forgiveness through the blood of Christ.

    Thank God for the blood!

  30. 15 And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the Lord: and the bullock shall be killed before the Lord.

    Even before the new testament church, elders were of great importance and were in the affairs of the burnt offerings and of the tabernacle, it shows the importance of having elders in the church. I thank God for our Pastor and the elders in our church that help in the decision making of the church.

  31. NLT) 13 if the entire Israelite community sins by violating one of the Lord command but the people don’t realize it they are still guilty 22) if one of Israel leaders sins by violating one the Lord his god but doesn’t realize it he is still guilty

    We are accountable for our sin that why it is always good to ask for forgiveness

  32. I’m so thankful for JESUS’ BLOOD and HIS HOLY SPIRIT that cleanses us from sin and a change of heart that enables us to live in the Spirit and abstain from the sins of the flesh. ( Galatians 5 : 16 ).

  33. Position, leadership, or anything else doesn’t excuse sin! God made an atonement for everyone. No one is exempt from the dangers of sin and can fall into temptation, we all need to keep our guard up and stay prayed up no matter where we are at in God.

  34. Thank God, for the New Covenant because the blood sacrifice of the Lamb has been given for us. In which, has atonedfor our sins once and for all. No more blood sacrifices will be required just upon Jesus Christ his Son.

    “Be blessed”……..

  35. 13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

    Any time that we sin whether we know it or not there is always a price to pay for the actions and the consequences.

  36. 22 When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;
    When we as leaders sin and do not ask for forgiveness we are quilty. We are to repent daily and ask for forgiveness for our sins that have been committed weather it was gossip, talking about others or doing something we know is wrong. It is better to ask forgiveness even if we don’t know it’s a sin.

  37. God is awesome! He provided the Lamb for the sacrifice and himself was the priest. Now we just have to repent ourselves we all our hearts at the altar. Jesus the high supreme priest is ready to forgive us through His blood.
    Hallelujah!

  38. 3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.

    There is a price to pay for sin and you better be ready to pay it. God had a certain process that had to be followed if you were a priest that sinned. Don’t think you can get away with things just because you’re a servant for the kingdom of God. Those that have labored in the gospel know better than anyone else that God is no respecter of persons. Everybody must follow the same commandments.

  39. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

    Now we do not need to bring an animal to sacrifice but God Himself provided a sacrifice of the Lamb of God…his blood shed for us that we may obtain his mercy and grace and be washed from all our sins. Thank you for the blood Jesus.

  40. 6 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:
    The Blood still works!

    The Blood represented the sealing of the covenant or the promise to the people of Isreal. Blood represents life its sprinkling on the congregation represented a vital commitment between God and his people. Thank you Jesus for that cleansing blood!

  41. 11 And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

    12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

    I see two options. We will either burn in the temple or we will burn outside of the holy city. The choice is ours. The sacrifice that was pleasing and acceptable to God had its blood carried all the way to the altar of incense. Yet the unacceptable was set on fire outside of the camp. This was place of rejection, and expulsion. It was not pleasing, and held no glory. Its only purpose was to eliminate the undesirable.

    I would rather burn in the temple: passionately serve, and obsessively worship the King of Kings than to do my own thing my own way and be burned outside of the city away from his presence.

  42. 13 And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;
    14 When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
    Romans 3
    21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—
    22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:
    23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
    24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
    25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.

  43. Thank God for the blood! Through this types and shadows. Showed us how his blood the precious blood of the Lamb would atone for our sins and eliminate our since forever! Thank God for His precious blood that watch is as white as snow!

  44. “And the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.” The word of God stated; how to do it, who would do what, and what would happen. There was a day when not all had an opportunity; however because of the blood of the one true God (Jesus) all today have an opportunity. Dear God, thank you for your blood; “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  45. It’s astonishing how much detail has to be made in the sacrifice to atoll just one sin. Sin is sin and Gods stance on has not changed or wavered. He still hates it, and the punishment will be the same.

    Let take God serious and not play church!

  46. “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them”. The Lord provided a means for all, as all need forgiveness. Although something may be a sin the person doing it might not know, which we should pray that God reveal it too them. God help us so that we are not ignorant of our own actions, in Jesus name.

  47. Im thankful we no longer have to have a priest go before the Lord on our behalf. The viel was torn, so we may enter in to His Holy Place and speak on our own behalf, whether it be thanksgiving, praise, or repentance. Praise God!

  48. All I can say is thank you Jesus for your blood. The blood that shed down ran washed away all our sins away. Your love is just so immense that we can’t compare to how much your love to how we love. Your love is just so incredible I don’t have words to explain it. I can only relate it to the feeling that I had when I had my children when they were in my womb. The love that you have for your children I imagine it only a small portion of how Jesus loves us. He was beaten, spit on, hung, nailed, and never said a word…. Oh Jesus, this is why I will always worship you!!!!!!! Your previous blood that waked my sins! Hallelujah

  49. 22 “‘When a leader sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the commands of the Lord his God, when he realizes his guilt 23 and the sin he has committed becomes known, he must bring as his offering a male goat without defect.

    Thank you Jesus for being a forgiving God! How blessed we are to have a God that knows our hearts. I pray that God will up our eyes to see our mistakes that we have made and that we will be the offering unto God. We may be “defect” in others eyes but in Gods eyes you are as perfect as he made you to be!

  50. No matter the status of the individual, an offering must be made for their sins. They may be different animals but the sin is all the same to God. We may all repent differently but the sin is all the same

  51. One thing that I’ve thought about with the sin offerings is that as a community everything was out in the open. When you brought you offering it was hard to hide a bull or a goat. And no one was excluded from bringing an offering, from the high priest to the person from the community.

  52. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

    2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

    Here God is saying that we should repent for sinning and not following his commands. It’s best to repent for any sin thought of or committed.

  53. 13“If the entire Israelite community sins by violating one of the LORD’s commands, but the people don’t realize it, they are still guilty.

    Guilty by association. This is happening to families all across the nation. If the parents dont go to church more than likely their children dont either. So the whole family dont realize they are committing some kind of sin. Its up to the father to lead and guide his children in the way of the Lord.

  54. Leviticus 4 The Message (MSG)
    The Absolution-Offering
    32-35 “If he brings a lamb for an Absolution-Offering, he shall present a female without any defect, lay his hand on the head of the Absolution-Offering, and slaughter it at the same place they slaughter the Whole-Burnt-Offering. The priest will take some of the blood of the Absolution-Offering with his finger, smear it on the horns of the Altar of
    Burnt-Offering, and pour the rest at the base of the Altar. He shall remove all the fat, the same as for the lamb of the Peace-Offering. Finally, the priest will burn it on the Altar on top of the gifts to God.

    “In this way, the priest makes atonement for him on account of his sin and he’s forgiven.”

  55. ““Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘If a person sins unintentionally against any of the commandments of the LORD in anything which ought not to be done, and does any of them,”(Leviticus‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭NKJV)

    The next kind of sacrifices appointed were for the expiation of particular sins, and are therefore called sin-offerings. The first sort of these were for sins of ignorance. These must necessarily be understood of such as exceeded common daily infirmities; for if every such sin had required an offering, it had not been possible either for most sinners to bear such a charge, or for the altar to receive so many sacrifices, or for the priests to manage so laborious a work. In Jesus Name!!!!!
