Leviticus 14

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

11 And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the Lord:

13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the Lord:

17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord.

19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

21 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the Lord.

24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord:

25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the Lord:

28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the Lord.

30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the Lord.

32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

33 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

34 When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

35 And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

42 And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

46 Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

47 And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

48 And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

50 And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

  1. v8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

Fortunately for all of us, GOD has always led the way in providing powerful cleansing agents.
Praise GOD !!! HE still favorably responds to those who desire spiritual cleansing and forgiveness.

  2. 44. Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

    45. And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

If there is something in our lives that is causing us to be unclean, we need to tear it down and dispose of it so that we can’t go back to it. Whatever it is, it’s not worth risking eternity for.

  3. God truly desires for us to be clean and stay clean. We may not have tear a physical house down today when there is uncleanness , but there is a spiritual tearing down. God wants us to get rid of every unclean thing. Only way for us to be holy is for also to be a clean vessel that God can use. When you get ready to be away the dishes at the end of the day, you only put away the ines that are clean. When God gets ready to call us home, he’s looking for the clean ones to put away. Don’t get caught up in wordly desires, get caught up in what this saith the Lord.

  4. And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering: And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean. (‭Leviticus‬ ‭14‬:‭19-20‬ KJV)

Thankful for the blood that was shed on Calvary for me. So that I may live and not die!! To GOD be all the glory.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭4-5, 7, 10-12‬ KJV)

  5. 43“But if the mildew reappears after all the stones have been replaced and the house has been scraped and replastered, 44 the priest must return and inspect the house again. If he finds that the mildew has spread, the walls are clearly contaminated with a serious mildew, and the house is defiled.

If our homes are required to be inspected and scraped for mildew, then how much more should our hearts and lives be inspected. Just like mildew that spreads easily across walls, floors, and ceilings if left uncontrolled. Sin also spreads just as easily. Let God inspect us and scrape that sin away from our lives, let us submit to God and do his will.

  6. 13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest’s, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

The first picture of Jesus presented in the bible, the lamb dying for all of us on the cross as all of our sin offerings, and healing and deliverance. It was all following the plan of God for washing away sn back in the time of Moses.

  7. Jesus’ blood washes us of all our uncleanliness, come to him and but we must and accept what he did for us on the cross and live accordingly.

  8. BREAKING DOWN THE HOUSE THAT SIN BUILT

The pleasure and entertainment that sin provides and establishes has deep, long lasting implications. Sin that has not been crucified in our lives through repentance and separation is dangerously costly. We learn in this chapter that a house that is not cleansed is a house that must be broken down.

The Proverb warns us of the sinful lifestyle:
Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

It may seem harsh to consider that a house must be broken up if it is not cleansed. However the LORD spoke through 2 prophets to warn and instruct us of how to prepare ourselves for HIM:

Jeremiah 4:3 For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

BREAKING DOWN THE HOUSE THAT SIN BUILT begins with REPENTANCE. Through the Grace of GOD we can break down the house (stronghold) that sin has built in our lives. Turning away from sin is how we break down that house.

2Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
    5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

    Repent
    Submit
    Obey

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  9. Lev. 14:6-7 & 52-53
    6) As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water.
    7) And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

    52) And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet;
    53) But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open field, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

The same process was used for cleansing the leper and the house, but they were not clean until blood and water was applied.
The same is true for the sinner today. We are not clean from our sins until the Blood of Jesus Christ and Baptism in His Name is applied to our lives.

Thank You JESUS for your Blood, Baptism in Your Name, and for the Holy Ghost!

  10. 57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

When leprosy was found in a house, it took the inspection of a priest and the blood of an animal to declare it clean.

We must partake of this same routine daily in prayer to inspect our house, spiritually and naturally. Have we allowed unclean things in that could totally spread into our whole “house” that would cause destruction? When we are in the Word, and prayed up the Spirit of the Lord will direct us to what is clean and unclean so that we can keep our “house” pure before the Lord.

  11. iLove to grow in the Word

It was amazing this morning to think about the washing with the water and the killing of the bird for this simple reason. One thought that came to mind as I was reading this is the fact when Jesus was baptized the scripture compared the Holy Ghost descending like a dove. Today I put two and two together and declare the law was fulfilled from Leveticus with the killing of one dove and release of the other. Jesus is the Father , Son, and Holy Spirit. The dove was there at Jesus baptism to represent the law and its cleansing power through the eventual death of Jesus but the set free dove was resurrected power and Holy Ghost outpouring

  12. As I read this chapter brother toneys message from BOTT kept coming to mind. How fitting is the anointing oil poured into the left hand that represents a pit or dark place. The anointing oil comes through the crushing. You can’t get oil without crushing the olives, you can’t be anointed without being crushed. Being crushed isn’t something I would associate with light, but the anointing is moved from the left hand to the right side of those needing to be healed/cleansed. The right hand was dipped into the anointing found in the left hand. The right hand represents the power and authority. The power and authority was anointed through the dark place. Both hands were needed. Light and dark. Ambidextrous faith. Be not afraid of dark places, trials, and pits experienced in life. It’s in those dark crushing moments that the anointing oil is found.

  13. Before the priest goes in to inspect the house, he must have the house emptied so nothing inside will be pronounced ceremonially unclean.
    Leviticus 14:36 NLT

Before God can come and make a change in our life, it must be emptied first from all uncleanliness. Which means that all the things that dont belong in our heart we must first take the action to get rid of so God can come in and make us whole and clean.

  14. The myth of wealth

Proverbs 23: 4-5 Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich; restrain yourself! Riches disappear in the blink of an eye; wealth sprouts wings and flies off into the wild blue yonder.

I have heard it said many times, the more money you have the more problems you have.
I have also heard it said only people with money say these things.

However, I have had the opportunity in my life to be acquainted with very wealthy people. While they may not worry about the price of tank of gas they worry more about the thousands or millions they are losing or not making by their decisions or indecision. Imagine investing in the stock market $100. Suppose Disney stock is selling for $10 a share. You are not a shareholder of Disney; 10 share in fact. The $100 was “mad” money; it would have been blown on going out to eat or a new phone case, etc… You forget about these shares until tax season and Disney sends you a earning report.

You now realize the $100 you invested is now worth $200. YooHoo!!

Now, for the extremely wealthy; most of their idle thoughts are about protecting their wealth. I have heard them say if only I had sold XYZ and purchased more ABC stock I would have made another $100k. As Proverbs goes on to declare in verses 6-8 Don’t accept a meal from a tightwad; don’t expect anything special. He’ll be as stingy with you as he is with himself; he’ll say, “Eat! Drink!” but won’t mean a word of it. His miserly serving will turn your stomach when you realize the meal’s a sham.”

  15. Nothing is Hidden Under the sun

Our testimony depends on do we act the same inside our home , than outside our home. Do we have so n hidden in our home?? Do we need to purge and
Clean our home so we may live in peace. Many people act one way outside the home and another inside the home .

Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

That is why we should not be concern for our God will always have the truth come out, misunderstandings will be cleared, and our homes cleansed by His Blood. Repentance, Forgiveness, and Mercy are His Greatest gift to us in the same way we should use those among our family and home. Let’s clean House so He may abide there also. In Jesus Name and by His Powerful Blood Amen

  16. Disease can also be in the home! A family altar can permeates the home with God’s presence just as sin can permeate the home with lawless living. Not do we need to cleanse the body and soul, our home may need to be cleansed too-anointed with oil. Then keep your home clean with the presence of God.
Side note: there are 2 types of leprosy-one is more benign and the other malignant so to speak-the skin lesions are even different colors. The worse of the 2 spreads more vigorously.
Cleansing is still key-from sin and from lifestyle or habits – both which affect our daily lives and health.

  17. Verses 33-47 are about a home with mildew. In the same sense we can use that to examine ourselves where the mildew is sin in our lives. We are to be holy temples that God wishes to dwell in. If we have all kinds of icky sin growing within us though, is that really a place for our God to be? I don’t think so. Wash us oh God, scrape away the sin, cleanse us with Your blood that we would be a temple You wish to dwell in.

  18. 40 he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. 41 He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. 42 Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.

Just like a physical house needs repairs, our spiritual house “body” needs repairs. You can’t just fix the surface and expect the problem to fade. You have to go to the core, clean it out, allow time to heal, and restore!
Through the scraping of the infection we are made whole again!

  19. Leviticus 14:26
And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand.
We use are hands to praise Jesus. Grow with Jesus Amen

  20. NLT) 1-3 and the Lord said to Moses 2) the following instructions are for those seeking ceremonial purification from a skin disease . Those who have been healed must be brought to the priest 3) who will examine them at a place outside the camp.if the priest find that someone has been healed of a serious skin disease

  21. Leviticus 14:1 the Lord said to Moses these are the regulations for any diseased person that the time of their ceremonial cleaning when they are brought to the priest the priest is to go outside the camp and examine them. If they have been healed of their the defiling skin disease the preest shall order that the two clean birds and some cedar wood Scarlett yarn and hyssop be bought for the person to be cleaned. Then the priest shall order that one of the birds to be killed over fresh water in a clay pot.

  22. If there is something in our lives that is causing us to be unclean, we need to tear it down and dispose of it so that we can’t go back to it. Whatever it is, it’s not worth risking eternity for.

  23. The priest determines the degree of a disease to make sure others don’t get affected by it. If we allow sin to creep into our lives it can destroy us. Through faith and the power of the blood of Jesus we are cleansed.

  24. 54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

Thank God that Jesus is a healer and we can just call on the name of Jesus by the power of Jesus and be cleansed by the blood of Jesus! There is power in his name!

  25. Leviticus 14:33-34
33 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, 34 “When you arrive in Canaan, the land I am giving you as your own possession, I may contaminate some of the houses in your land with mildew.

Notice that the Lord said that he was the one who contaminated the house with mildew. He didn’t blame anyone else. This would force the inhabitants of the house to go to the priest and the priest would have to come to the home and inspect it.

If we can’t keep our house clean spiritually God may allow something to cause the man of God to have to come into the house. We should keep our spiritual temples clean as well. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Ghost. If we allow something to go unchecked like repentance, bitterness, or forgiveness then God may allow a spiritual infection to spread that will draw us to a place where we need prayer so that God can do the work he wants to do.

  26. “”The priest will use the blood and the water to make the house pure. He will use the live bird to make it pure. He will also use the cedar wood, the hyssop plant and the bright red yarn to make it pure. “Then he must let the live bird go free in the open fields outside the town. In that way he will make the house pure. It will be ‘clean.’ “”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭14:52-53‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

We have record of this happening in the New Testament for us to be clean today. Christ our High Priest was crucifed and Barabbas was set free. Pilate washed his hands with water to show that he wouldn’t be held accountable for their request. It was all apart of Gods Great Plan to Cleanse His people. Thank you for Calvary.

“But the chief priests and the elders talked the crowd into asking for Barabbas and having Jesus put to death. “Which of the two do you want me to set free?” asked the governor. “Barabbas,” they answered. “Then what should I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify him!” “Why? What wrong has he done?” asked Pilate. But they shouted even louder, “Crucify him!” Pilate saw that he wasn’t getting anywhere. Instead, the crowd was starting to get angry. So he took water and washed his hands in front of them. “I am not guilty of this man’s death,” he said. “You are accountable for that!” All the people answered, “We and our children will accept the guilt for his death!” Pilate let Barabbas go free. But he had Jesus whipped. Then he handed him over to be nailed to a cross.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:20-26‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

  27. 23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the Lord.

  28. 44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

  29. 8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

  30. The israelíes beleived in God(blesings and cursing).if they were gravely affected for Leprosy they have to present before the priest to be examine and diagnosed.as the bible said. They believed in the power of healing and forgiveness.

  31. 57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

Teach me Lord to be sensitive to your work. And stay teachable.

  32. 18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the Lord.

The anointing will destroy the yoke of sin and sickness. We must first allow it to cover us and the man of God to go to God in intercession for us. so regardless of what we face, if our life’so testimony is good and the man of God has a good report when going to God on our behalf there is no limit to what God will do.

  33. Before the priest goes in to inspect the house, he must have the house emptied so nothing inside will be pronounced ceremonially unclean.
    Leviticus 14:36
just as the house had to be clean for the priest to perform his inspection our house or temple of the Holy Ghost must be clean so that God can inspect our hearts our minds and our spirits. We must be cleaning from the inside out so that God can make us better overall. The word of God says we should be complete and entire working toward spiritual perfection or wholeness from the inside out.

  34. “His own hands shall bring the offerings of the Lord made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the Lord.” The word of God (Jesus) stated it had to be done by their own hands. One may possibly benefit from another’s offering, however one that brings offerings of one’s own hands will be blessed. Dear God, let us (me) see the principal and purpose of offerings; “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  35. Leviticus 14

The tragedy of leprosy lay not so much in personal sin as in Isolation from community life and worship. The real message of the legislation is that any type of uncleanness separates the believer from God.Leprosy is symbolic. My

  36. “And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.” The offering was not to be consumed after the third day. Church attendance and at each service will ensure freshness, and before the third day. God help us to see the day and hour in which we live, in Jesus name.

  37. 52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

Plead the blood of Jesus over your homes as well. We see in the scriptures that it required blood for atonment and cleasing. It will be a good thing to plead the blood of Jesus over our homes as well that all that we have should be clean. And make sure we dont allow anyhting any plague to creep into our homes.

  38. 43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

God is not gonna dwell in an unclean house, he don’t want us to have an unclean house. When we are in sin it’s like leprosy, and sometimes it takes to be broken all the way down for God to have his way, he cleans us up, then builds us back up. THANK YOU JESUS FOR SALVATION!

  39. God so desires us to tear down our unclean house. I mean our spiritual house. For so long Christians have let their spiritual walk suffer due to the world. Now is the time for us to stand up and clean ourselves spiritually and clean our houses. God is my Alpha and Omega. He is the great I Am. I know to serve him is to give over every unclean thing in my life and let God remove it completely. Faith and trust is where it all comes into affect. We have to trust God to do the work in our lives. he will work it out as long as you have the faith and trust in him to clean you spiritually. Amen and God bless.

  40. And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the Lord:

  41. The two clean birds used in this sacrifice are representing the unclean person. The slaughtered bird symbolizes the unclean person as he or she once was and might have remained: dead to the world, separated from the Lord and his people. The bird that was freed beautifully illustrates the revival of life to the former sinner, newly cleansed and restored to the community of God. The significance of the other elements (hyssop, cedar, wood, and Scarlett yarn) are all symbolic. Like hyssop which was used to sprinkle blood on the door frames in Egypt (Ex 12:22) and that it was a sign of spiritual cleansing from sin (Ps 51:7). The Passover was the Lord sparing Israel and here it depicts the Lords mercy upon the sinner in forgiveness of sin. The blood of Jesus will never lose its power!

  42. 52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet
There is nothing like his cleasing blood. There is power in his blood!

  43. Healing

Because the Lord submitted himself to be sacrificed in an earthen vessel (a body of flesh,) in it He allowed us to not only receive salvation (life in the spirit man) but healing in the physical. By His stripes, we are healed; He bled so that we would be healed. When His blood is applied to our life, we walk every day in the promise not only of spiritual salvation but also of physical.

    1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

  44. This chapter illustrates the ritual of ancient Judaism in regards to diseases and fungi in the area. The KJV uses the word leprosy. Leprosy as we know it today was unknown at this time. Leprosy in the KJV is a blanket term for various kinds of skin disease.

  45. 57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

God gave specific instructions on how to cleanse when faced with disease. Sin is disease. In your own home you must watch and be careful what is in there. If sin has made its way there you must cleanse it.

  46. 48 “But if the priest comes to examine it and the mold has not spread after the house has been plastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the defiling mold is gone

Stop the enemy I his trackes! Don’t let your house become unclean but say as for me and MY HOUSE we are going to be clean(devil free)!

  47. 57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.

Teach me Jesus to be pure and clean like you Lord!!!! I can’t be without you Lord!!!! I need your power and glory.

  48. The gift of this leper witnesses to us even today the power and nature of God. When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” In Jesus Name !!!

  49. “When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession; And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭14:34-35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

How many of us would be comfortable enough trusting our man of God knowing that he would see all the secrets within the home? The priest would have to go EXAMINE the house. This means he would know all about it. As a church we should have enough trust hat our man of aGod has our best interests at heart and he will do what he can to help.

  50. Leviticus 14:44-45
Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.
