Leviticus 17

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying,

3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the Lord.

6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,

9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the Lord; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

15 And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.

16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

  1. A Cowards offering

If we could take a moment to see the door of the tabernacle as the place of communication with God and the places we gain access to receive from Him. This short chapter becomes very informative and powerful.

You see if we fail to bring our sacrifice to the door the sacrifice is no longer acceptable as a Holy action but a “sport”. Many men go out to hunt “game” but it’s just that a hobby or sport but it is a humble man that brings his sacrifice to the door to be offered in the manner it was intended to be offered.

We can not “run game” on God. For He is not a toy but He is all powerful, all knowing, and His all seeing eye knows our heart. To “run game” means “cheating or otherwise playing someone for a fool.”

How foolish are we when we fail to come to Him in repentance? Only a man of pride wold say “He knows I’m sorry because he knows my heart.” Yes, He knows our heart but He also knows our voice and when we fail to open our mouth He will eventually “cut us off.”

    Psalm 24:7
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

    Psalm 84:10
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

    My last point is this:

Our lack of prayer and repentance cuts us off from revelations 4:1 “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.”

You can chase after anointing, revelation, and miracles yet fail to meet Him at the door.

  2. The blood of the lamb for the atonement! The Blood of Jesus Christ……

11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

    ————————————————————-
    Life in the Blood………….

14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

    “It’s in blood, It’s in blood”…………….

  3. In reading this chapter this morning, it spoke to me about the “where” and the “how”. The “where” brings our obedience into play. The Lord was very specific about where to bring your offerings and sacrifices before Him. The “how” is in the blood that the Lord has provided for our very souls. Verse 11 AMP says “For the [b]life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life [which it represents].” The same verse MSG “I have provided the blood for you to make atonement for your lives on the Altar; it is the blood, the life, that makes atonement.” If we are obedient in our “where” the Lord will always make the “how” possible.

  4. iLove to grow in the Word

“The life of every creature is in its blood. That is why I have said to the people of Israel, ‘You must never eat or drink blood, for the life of any creature is in its blood.’ So whoever consumes blood will be cut off from the community.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This commandment is one of such importance that it was carried from the Old and entered into the New.

“Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from eating food offered to idols, from sexual immorality, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from consuming blood.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭15:20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Next time you order that steak, you might want to try it medium well.🐂

  5. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. (‭Leviticus‬ ‭17‬:‭12, 14‬ KJV)

  6. Leviticus 17:16
But if he wash them not nor bathe his flesh then he shall bear his iniquity .

We must wash are self’s everyday. Grow with Jesus Amen

  7. 5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the Lord.

    5-7 NLT
The purpose of this rule is to stop the Israelites from sacrificing animals in the open fields. It will ensure that they bring their sacrifices to the priest at the entrance of the Tabernacle, so he can present them to the LORD as peace offerings. Then the priest will be able to splatter the blood against the LORD’s altar at the entrance of the Tabernacle, and he will burn the fat as a pleasing aroma to the LORD.The people must no longer be unfaithful to the LORD by offering sacrifices to the goat idols. This is a permanent law for them, to be observed from generation to generation.

This is a warning that when those that are out and about, whether it be at home, work or anywhere else there are always things that try to pull our attention away from God. Whether it be time, money, energy, if we’re putting more passion and zeal into something other than our worship, our stewardship, or servitude, then the LORD calls this being unfaithful. In the King James Version he calls it prostitution. He has set us apart and He calls us to be holy because He is holy. Bring your sacrifice of time, talent, treasure, praise before the Lord as a peace offering and teach your children and your children’s children so that it may continue to be carried out through the generations!

  8. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

There is life in the blood. Every soul and everything that has blood running throughout their body has purpose.

  9. 11. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Our life comes from His blood. When we repent and die to sin, it’s His blood that He willingly poured out at Calvary that gives us a new life.

    1 Corinthians 15:20-22
    20. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

    21. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

    22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

  10. Lev. 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”

Roman’s 5-11, “And not only so, but we also joy in God through our LORD Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement ”

As the old hymnal song says …
What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
    Nothing can for sin atone,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Thank You JESUS for your Blood that you shed on Calvary!

  11. 2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, saying,

Tithes should be brought unto the Lord and not spent elsewhere.

  12. 11 for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible. (NLT)

“It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.” Without His blood covering us, washing us, reaching us, we would be left to struggle alone through life with our sin. Thank You Jesus for Your blood!! Because without it, many of us wouldn’t be here today.

For it reaches to the highest mountain, and flows to the lowest valley. It’s the blood that gives me strength from day to day. It will never lose its power!

  13. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

There is power in the blood. I have studied about the blood and its many wonderful attributes. There are so many things about the blood. It bring literal life to the body. From oxygen to food. From recycling body cells to fighting off infections. The blood. I know it was Jesus’ blood that saved me.

  14. BRING YOUR OFFERINGS TO CHURCH

9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the Lord; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

Years ago I asked a man why he did not tithe or give to the church. He responded that he gave to other people and needy causes and that took the place of Tithe and Offering, obviously this concept of thinking is not biblical, however it is popular. Others consider sending money to a tv preacher their tithe and offering. I once encouraged an individual to call that tv preacher when they have a prayer request and see how long it takes for a response.

Truth is that there is only 1 way to GIVE to GOD and that is to BRING it to CHURCH. The LORD expected Israel or any other worshipper to bring a living animal to the priest for their offering. The blood represents life and the blood made atonement for sin. Therefore if the animal was dead, it was not an offering.

Likewise as we bring financial offerings to CHURCH they should be alive. Active money that we could use somewhere else, for something else.

Make up in your mind today that we will GIVE the way GOD has ordained and that we will be faithful to CHURCH in bringing our OFFERING to the LORD.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  15. 14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

15 And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.

See, here it is again. An unclean person must atone for his iniquities to be right in God’s eyes. Everyday we fall short in something, but it is our own flesh that causes that. Daily we must die of our flesh to serve God. he sees those that sacrifice and those that are I’ll do it later God knows me. Does he really know you.

Matthew 7:23 And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I don’t know about you, but that is not what I want to hear. I want to hear two words and only two words…….WELL DONE!! We will suffer from our shortcomings and they will be dealt with. Brother Wayne said it last night in our bible study and I’m paraphrasing. We can go before a judge and say look at all the good things I’ve done. I’ve fed the homeless, I’ve helped my community and the list could go on. The judge could say yes you have, but you committed a heinous crime. So all our good works could be discounted because of some sin that we knew about, but never thought to remove it from our lives…….Let’s make it up in our hearts to remove any iniquity from the sight of God……….Have a blessed day……Amen!!

  16. 14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

  17. 3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

It was customary that every sacrifice made was to be brought to the door of the sanctuary as an offering unto the Lord.

Our lives our living sacrifices lived out before the Lord on a daily basis. Everything that we do should be “run” by the altar of the Lord before doing it. His Word comes alive in us and He allows things to come to our minds from His word that gives us direction, so it is very important that we take the plumb line of His word to live by and to base our decision off of.

Many times we get ourselves in a mess, and then want God to get us out. If we would have taken the time to search out His word regarding our choices, we could have saved ourselves much turmoil.

  18. I was only kidding…

    Proverbs 26:KJV
18-19 As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death, So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?

    Proverbs 26:MSG
18-19 People who shrug off deliberate deceptions, saying, “I didn’t mean it, I was only joking,”
Are worse than careless campers who walk away from smoldering campfires.

I have found myself in situations where my mouth spoke before my brain was able to amend what was coming out. Now the statement is in the air, how do I recover; I was only kidding, it was a joke – why do you take things so seriously? Have you ever heard any of these or maybe used any of these? Was my first response the actual feeling of my heart – I believe so. However, if my heart felt sentiments hurt another should they be said aloud?

Sometimes, these feelings come from not knowing or not being comfortable with how we really are and how we really feel. So we pretend (lie) we don’t feel that way and didn’t really mean to say that. However, we really do feel that way, and maybe we have good reasons for it. Did we really intend to hurt the other person’s feeling though, should we care about their feelings if this is how we really feel? I believe yes; we should care about others feelings and care about how our words are received. That does not allow us to lie about our feelings to someone or ourselves. We can learn to communicate with others and still keep our convictions/opinions.

  19. All Glory and Honor belongs to the Lord

4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

In everything we do we must make sure that we give all Glory and Honor to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

So be very careful never to offer or do if you don’t lay it at the feet of the Lord in Jesus Name first and foremost. Lord help us remember that everything belongs to you and that we should not touch anything without first coming to your feet. In Jesus Name AMEN

  20. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Man this is AMAZING! The power is in the BLOOD! Nothing can wash us, purify us, sanctify us, redeem us, DELIVER US, but the blood, NOT ANY BLOOD THE BLOOD OF JESUS! Thank you Jesus for the BLOOD!

  21. for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the Lord . It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.
    Leviticus 17:11 NLT

God gave His Son to shed His Blood and that Blood not only purifies us, but gives us life and another opportunity to see Him

  22. Leviticus 17:10 I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood and I will cut them off from the people. For the life of a creature is in the blood and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourself on the altar it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. Therefore I said to the Israelites none of you may eat blood nor any foreigner residing among you eat blood.

God himself Will set his face against that soul that eateth blood and will cut him off from among his people by death or such means as he chooses to adopt. Then follows the reason for the prohibition. Fir the life of the flesh is in the blood.

  23. 5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the Lord.

Just as God gave Aaron and his sons specific instructions on how to perform the duties of the Tabernacle and enter into his presence-the most Holy Place, he also give the people the correct way to offer their sacrifices. Doing it any other way than His way is rebellion which is the sin of witchcraft – They were to stop sacrificing to devils. We must approach God the way he teaches so we can be accepted and blessed.

About the blood-I’m thankful that our practices of butchering meats today follow the draining of all the blood. The blood is the life of flesh. His blood gives spiritual life in the new birth experience where it is applied in baptism in his name. He shed his blood to buy back what was lost- the restoration of relationship. I’m thankful for the blood of Jesus that washes me white as snow!

  24. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Glory!! Jesus has poured out His blood to us meaning we should not be afraid in bringing souls. If we follow Him he will make us soul winners. There’s been a point to where I doubt and get scared of rejection but their not denying me their denying my Lord Jesus!!! We can’t force anyone to worship and live for Him but we can pray for them and invite them. We do the natural and Jesus died the supernatural!!!! Jesus has the power

  25. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

As long as we are covered in His blood no attack of the enemy can bring us down. His blood is the only thing they can wash us white as snow! There is power in the blood!

  26. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

THANK YOU JESUS FOR THE BLOOD!!! THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE, JESUS!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!! Mankind would have no HOPE!!! THANK YOU DADDY!!!

  27. Any violation of these regulations brings very severe consequences. The transgression in most of these violations is identified as “bloodguiltiness”. This is the expression which is used of murder. Their are three instances in this chapter of those violations equal to being “cut off” from their people. Failing to slaughter a domestic “sacrificial” animal as a fellowship offering at the tent of meeting brought the sentence of being “cut off” from his people (v 3-7), as did offering a sacrifice anywhere other than at the tent of meeting (v 8-9) or eating blood.. yuck (v 10-13). Being “cut off” may very well have meant death.

As if that wasn’t severe enough, there is something about the punishment which is even more frightening. The violation of some of these “blood” regulations brings the direct involvement of God in the matter: “‘And any man from the house of Israel, or from the aliens who sojourn among them, who eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people’” (v 17:10). It is bad enough to think of suffering some natural consequences for sin. When God promises to “set His face against” the violator so as to personally “cut him off,” that is a most sobering thought.

  28. v11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atoneme for your souls : for it is in the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

It’s only through HIS BLOOD !!! That there is atonement for our soul.

    Praise the LORD !!!

  29. Leviticus 17:3-4

I have heard people say that they do not need church and can have a relationship with Jesus without it. Yet many forget that the church is the lord’s. The word of God shows us that he built his church and it wasn’t man. I pray we never become so arrogant to think we can live for him without what he has established to reach the world. It’s his body and truly the only way anyone is going to go to heaven is to be in the body when he comes.

Bring the sacrifice to the temple. We need the temple.

  30. 6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

The blood of Jesus needs to always be applied to our lives, and not only to ourselves in general but to our “doorways”. What do I mean by this? It means that can become a entry point for sin and unholiness to become rooted in our lives and start to infect us. This can be on the entrance of our house, but also where we work, go to school, where our children go, when we got to store or the car. It can be on electronic devices such as our TVs and computers.

Because all of those can become an entry point where sin can try to take ahold of us, trying to sneak into our lives in places we may not expect. Anything that is not covered by the blood can become a secret passage for sin in our lives. Let’s cover up those holes and make sure it has no place where it can come in.

  31. 5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the Lord, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the Lord.

  32. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Jesus gave us life thru his blood. He died on the cross for us so we can live a sin free live. Thank you Jesus for your cleaning blood that will never lose it’s power!

  33. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
this chapter tells us that the life of the flesh is in the blood. Therefore when Jesus shed his blood for us we received life. Not only that but thanks be to God we received a tonement for our sins! Thank God for the blood!

  34. 13“And if any native Israelite or foreigner living among you goes hunting and kills an animal or bird that is approved for eating, he must drain its blood and cover it with earth.

The blood is the key to life, it gives or ends life. Without blood one can’t exist. We all return to dust, as well as the animals. Physically, we should bury the animal just as we are buried.

  35. For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement For your it is the blood that mrket and atonement for the soul

  36. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
    Leviticus 17:11

Thank you God for the blood .

  37. 11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.

Let us life a life under your blood Lord. You gave your blood for me, you died for me! Thank you God for giving your mercy upon me and to die for me!

  38. 14.”For it is the life of all flesh. It’s blood sustains its life . Therefore I said to the children of Israel ” you shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats shall be cut off.
Acts. 29: that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood , for things strangle , and from sexual immorality . If you keep yourselves from these , you will do well.
In the Old Testament and the New Testament still remained the commandment.

  39. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

The blood of Jesus washes us clean white as snow. Thank God for mercy and grace.

  40. Lev.17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood : and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement the soul.

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God.

In his blood: The emphasis is not on the blood has it coursed through Christ veines, but as it was shed for our sins. This is how the propitiation was accomplished.

  42. 8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice, 9 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the Lord; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

The word of God (Jesus) was very clear what was expected, and would be done. One that believes only their way is right and disregards; the word of God, the house of God, and/or the man of God is completely on their own. Dear God, help us to clearly see the importance of; commitment and unity. “In God we (I) trust”. “One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  43. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” The Lord was very clear that life is in the blood. The Lord’s own blood was freely shed and is available today for atonement of sin, for all that want it. God help us to understand the power is in your blood, in Jesus name.

  44. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

We need God’s blood that we may live. Life is in the blood. Without the blodd of Jesus we are dead

  45. 6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the Lord.

7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

  46. ““Tell them, Any Israelite or foreigner living among them who offers a Whole-Burnt-Offering or Peace-Offering but doesn’t bring it to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to GOD, that person must be cut off from his people.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:8-9‬ ‭MSG‬‬

If you don’t pay your dues, you can be cut off.
It’s important to always pay your tithes and your offerings to God.

  47. Sacrificing an animal outside of the tabernacle dos not allow the priests to eat the meat. It was essentially stealing from the people of God. Today, we should be mindful of what we do towards others. Let us not withhold what belongs to others for the sake of religiosity. (Consider those who give money to the poor as a form of “tithes.”)

  48. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

    It’s the blood!

It’s is the blood of Jesus that makes an atonement for my soul. Atonement-It is Jesus stepping in to stop death – the payment for our sins.

  49. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

    It was the blood!
Atonement – to unite, expiation from sin, reparation of a wrong. This is what the Blood of the lamb did for you and me, it was because and only because of the blood, that we can unite with God.

  50. “And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:10-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    Or

“Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭15:19-20‬ ‭KJV

These both talk about no having blood especially they perlpe

  51. The door

4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

Brother Bernard preached a very prophetic message about the year 2016 being the year of the open door at BOTT this year. Two weeks before Brother Tim Grrene prophesied to me that if I keep my heart right that this year would be the year that doors would start opening. Here we find the only way to get in that door is with a sacrifice, a sacrifice with a pure heart. This year is about growth. Growth starts within and finally shows outwardly. Our hearts will be the first thing to grow. Our sacrifice follows then the door is opened.

  52. Leviticus 17:14
For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

  53. “The Lord spoke to Moses. He said, “Speak to Aaron and his sons. Speak to all of the people of Israel. Tell them, ‘Here is what the Lord has commanded. He has said, “Suppose someone sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat. He sacrifices it in the camp or outside of it. He does it instead of bringing the animal to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. He sacrifices it instead of giving it as an offering to me in front of my holy tent. Then he will be thought of as guilty of spilling blood. Because he has done that, he must be cut off from his people.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:1-4‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

There was also a order and a pattern for the people of Israel to follow. There’s a big price to pay for convenience. David said he wouldn’t offer the Lord that which cost him nothing. We must be committed to the commission of the Kingdom.

  54. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’”(Leviticus‬ ‭17:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

The animal life or soul, is a life and soul of every creature, and even the animal life and soul of man; agreeably to which our famous Dr. Harvey, who found out the circulation of the blood, says of it, that it is the principal part which first appears in generation; is the genital part, the fountain of life the first that lives, and the last that dies; the primary seat of the soul or life, from whence motion and pulsation take their rise; in which the innate heat is produced the vital spirit is generated and the life consists (i); and therefore it is spread all over the body, and according to the condition that it is in, such is the health and such the diseases of the body; yea, the affections of the mind, such as fear, shame, joy, and anger are discovered by it. In Jesus Name!!!
