Leviticus Chapter 25

40 Days of PASSION – Day 29

3John 11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

Leviticus 25

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.

3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.

7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

14 And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not oppress one another:

15 According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:

16 According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.

17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the Lord your God.

18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

22 And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine, for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.

26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;

27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

29 And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.

30 And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.

31 But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.

32 Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.

33 And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.

34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

38 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:

40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile.

41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.

42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.

43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God.

44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.

45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.

47 And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger’s family:

48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:

49 Either his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.

50 And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.

51 If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

52 And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

53 And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.

54 And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.

55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

  1. iLove to Grow in the Word
18“If you want to live securely in the land, follow my decrees and obey my regulations. 19Then the land will yield large crops, and you will eat your fill and live securely in it.

Wow, the way to have prosperity and live in peace is through obedience. Imagine that, what a concept. As I read this chapter this morning my mind went back to the book of Acts when everyone sold all their lands and laid them at the Apostles feet. The book of Acts was the year of Jubilee. There is another year of Jubilee that will soon come as well, the word Jubilee means the following:
    יֹבֵל יוֹבֵל
    yôbêl yôbêl
    yo-bale’, yo-bale’
Apparently from H2986; the blast of a horn (from its continuous sound); specifically the signal of the silver trumpets; hence the instrument itself and the festival thus introduced: – jubile, ram’s horn, trumpet.
    Total KJV occurrences: 27

There is a day in the very near future that the angels of the Lord will blast 7 trumpets. This is the Day of the Lord and the Lord will take what belongs to Him. Revelation 11:15 NLT Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.”

  2. And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years. (‭Leviticus‬ ‭25‬:‭20-21‬ KJV)

Many times we worry about the small things that we face. But, we see the hand of God providing for all of our needs. He’s faithful to his children at all times!! No worries, Just trust in him.

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭7‬ KJV)

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ KJV)

  3. 18 “If you want to live securely in the land, follow my decrees and obey my regulations. (NLT)

All you have to do is obey and follow directions… Yes Sir Jesus!

  4. Proverbs 3:27 Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time” or “Try me tomorrow”.

How many times have I passed by people the Lord is speaking to? God forgive me for not understanding your ways and being prepared to be used by You. I hope I never forget the story that Bro Guy tells of them driving through the country somewhere and Sis Guy feels they need to turn around and go visit a stranger’s home on the side of the road they just drove past. I want to be used like that.

It is a hard zone for me to get out of; this zone of comfort and familiarity. However, in my protected little world there is no room for God to move or use me. I have started to employ various strategies from various evangelists that have visited us to develop my own way of talking to people about the Lord. I have had no visible success yet, but that is not what God is counting – at this point – only the effort is required.

  5. 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.

When we come into our blessing, we should remember from where the blessings came and give Him thanks and praise.

  6. 55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

JESUS IS MY REDEEMER!!! I AM A BLOOD BOUGHT CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH!!! I AM SOLD OUT!!!
I am thankful that even when I was sold out in the world, THAT THE WORLD CAN NOT BUY ME BACK, THE enemy CANNOT BUY ME BACK!!! FOR I AM NOT MINE OWN, BUT HIS WHOM LOVED ME FIRST, I AM HIS WHOM PURCHASED ME WITH THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! I AM SOULED OUT!!! MY MIND IS MADE UP!!!

18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

MY GOD IS FAITHFUL!!! BUT I AM SURE THAT IF THE STATUTES ARE NOT DONE AND THE JUDGEMENTS ARE NOT KEPT AND DONE, THEY WILL NOT BE SO SAFE!!! MY GOD IS TRUE TO HIS WORD!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

  7. In His Rest.

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.
    3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

    The land must rest.
Growing up around farms, as a child, this was a common practice. Because the harvest would suck up any nutrition that was in the ground. So the farmer would take the seventh year and not put any seed in the ground. But they would put a certain fertilizer down that would soak into the ground that whole year. Then the following year they would plant again.

Now as a church, we are very active. And people looking in don’t really understand why. It’s all about souls! But we also understand tgrough teaching that our rest comes from the Holy Ghost. The spirit of God that dwells inside of us. So when we feel down, or tired in the spirit. We must first evaluate ourselves spiritually. What are we doing spiritually? We must take care of ourselves. Because if a man gains the whole world and losses his soul. What has he gained? Nothing. We must keep ourselves feed with the word of God.

  8. 20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

The Lord knows exactly what we will have need of 6, 7, 8 years from now. And his is sufficient to supply all of those needs insomuch as he has prepared us for our famine years before it ever arrives. Jehova Jireh = My Provider!

25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do.

26 The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.

27 And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

God knows what he is doing! We shouldn’t even be asking questions, we shouldn’t worry or have our own back up plans “just in case the Lord doesn’t come through” we should just sit back and watch God be glorified.

He is the same God yesterday, today and forever!

Our only prayer for provision should not be us begging God out of worry to provide for us. No! It should be us thanking God and praising him for already providing even though we haven’t seen it yet!

God you provided for Abraham when you caught that ram in the thicket.. do it again Lord. You did it for Elijah, Daniel, Noah, Nehemiah, Paul, Jonah! Do it again God in Jesus Name

  9. 20. But you might ask, ‘What will we eat during the seventh year, since we are not allowed to plant or harvest crops that year?’ NLT

This sounds like typical humans, lacking the faith to trust that when God gives a command, He already has a plan to see us through it.

    21. Be assured that I will send my blessing for you in the sixth year, so the land will produce a crop large enough for three years. NLT

See? God already had a way for them to live a blessed life if they would only be obedient. He wasn’t going to wait until they ran out of food, then find a way to feed them, but He was giving them provision before they even needed it.

    God is Faithful!!

  10. Leviticus 25:4-6

4 But the seventh year the land will take a Sabbath of complete and total rest, a Sabbath to GOD; you will not sow your fields or prune your vineyards. 5 Don’t reap what grows of itself; don’t harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land gets a year of complete and total rest. 6 But you can eat from what the land volunteers during the Sabbath year—you and your men and women servants, your hired hands, and the foreigners who live in the country,

    John 9:4

4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

For six years they went into the field, planted, and harvested but the seventh year the land rested. They were told however they could eat whatever the land produced.

In other words God was responsible for all the work.

We are told we must work while it is day because the night is coming that no man can work. Yet this doesn’t say God won’t work.

I believe a sabbath year harvest is coming to PoFW. A year when after we have done all we can God will send his harvest upon us. The land will simply produce and the fruit will come in!

  11. GROW IN UNITY

The FEAR of the LORD is not to make us timid or scared of the LORD. The FEAR of the LORD is to make us RESPECT the LORD. As we GROW in RESPECT for the LORD we will GROW in RESPECT for one another.

We are commanded not to “oppress” one another.

OPPRESS – : to treat (a person or group of people) in a cruel or unfair way
: to make (someone) feel sad or worried for a long period of time

OPPRESS – 3238. yanah, yaw-naw´; a primitive root; to rage or be violent: by implication, to suppress, to maltreat:—destroy, (thrust out by) oppress(-ing, -ion, -or), proud, vex, do violence.

The attempt to intimidate others or make make them feel inferior is an attempt to oppress them. This process breaks UNITY and creates resentment and division.

TRUST is the antidote to OPPRESS. TRUST is the fuel for UNITY. The deeper our level of TRUST in the LORD is the stronger our UNITY will be. Mankind will disappoint, fail and hurt us, however GOD is GREATER than all of these. Even if man harms us our TRUST in the LORD will conquer any feelings of oppression.

Lets commit to build TRUST in one another and GROW IN UNITY.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  12. Proverbs 3:26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. KJV

    What Now POFW?

Through hearing the miracles testimonies from Bro. Smith last, we heard once again that God Can Truly DO ANYTHING.

The only thing that is hindering God from doing anything, is us.

Yet vs 26 instructs us to let God be your confidence, when inviting and witnessing remember it is better to trust God, then to put confidence in man. Don’t put your confidence in you, but in the God thats in you!

Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Acts 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

  13. “Then the land will yield large crops, and you will eat your fill and live securely in it. But you might ask, ‘What will we eat during the seventh year, since we are not allowed to plant or harvest crops that year?’ Be assured that I will send my blessing for you in the sixth year, so the land will produce a crop large enough for three years. When you plant your fields in the eighth year, you will still be eating from the large crop of the sixth year. In fact, you will still be eating from that large crop when the new crop is harvested in the ninth year.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭25:19-22‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God promised them something and they immediately began to question it, they had a lack of faith. But we at POFW need to get out of that mentality and stretch our faith. Every time we come to church we should expect great things to happen. Not only that put when we step beyond our four walls and began tell others about God we should expect something the change in them, if each of us would get this mentality instead, imagine the revival of souls we would have! Lord I pray that you would begin to stretch our faith, and give us a spirit of boldness that as we speak of your great name a mighty outpouring would fill this city!

  14. 17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the Lord your God.

18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

  15. Lev. 25:18-22
    18) Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them: and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
    19) And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
    20) And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, not gather in our increase:
    21) Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
    22) And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

What an amazing and awesome God we serve!
God promised the children of Israel that if they would obey Him, they would live in the land in safety, and He would provide so much produce in the sixth year that they would not only be supplied for the seventh year when they gave the land rest, but they would be also eating the produce of the sixth year some three years later.
Same for us, if we will obey God and His Word, we will dwell in safety in Him, and He will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:18)

Also, I really enjoyed the message Sunday morning on the rivers, and I believe we can see all four of them (Increase, Bursting Forth, Rapid, and Fruitfulness) in these scriptures

  16. 20. But you might ask, ‘What will we eat during the seventh year, since we are not allowed to plant or harvest crops that year?’ NLT

This sounds like typical humans, lacking the faith to trust that when God gives a command, He already has a plan to see us through it.

  17. 23“The land must never be sold on a permanent basis, for the land belongs to me. You are only foreigners and tenant farmers working for me.

God created this earth, and physically we are occupying his land temporarily. We should take care of the land we live on. Until one day we all will go to our permanent land up in heaven.

  18. 17 Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the LORD your God. NIV

This verse says it all we are not to take advantage of anyone. Don’t be someones friend just to get something that you want. Be friendly with all. Remember we hate the sin but we love the sinner. God forgive us if we just have the attitude “give me, give me my name is jimmy”. We have come to far to turn back and not go forward. God help us to be there for one another.

  19. 18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

18-22 MSG “Keep my decrees and observe my laws and you will live secure in the land. The land will yield its fruit; you will have all you can eat and will live safe and secure. Do I hear you ask, ‘What are we going to eat in the seventh year if we don’t plant or harvest?’ I assure you, I will send such a blessing in the sixth year that the land will yield enough for three years. While you plant in the eighth year, you will eat from the old crop and continue until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.

Keep my statutes and you will be well taken care of. You will always be provided for. You and your children will not go hungry. You will live and prosper, you will not die.

  20. 17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the Lord your God.

18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Many of these verses talk about a brother falling onto hard times and him being restored either by family or when the year of jubile happens. When the brother is in a place of being sold to his neighbor the lord commands that they not treat them as a slave but rather as a hired worker. They are still your brethren. The theme I see in this chapter is brotherly love. No matter the circumstances treat them with love and respect.

    Matthew 22:37-40

    — Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

God clearly holds brotherly/neighborly/sisterly love in high regards. We should love each other despite circumstances we encounter.

  21. 6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee.

God put the same cycle into place for man. 6 days shall thou work, and on the seventh day, which we know as our Sunday/Sabbath day, is the day that we gather together and fellowship, take in the word of God (meat) for all of our household. This is not the only day we take meat (word) for our soul, but it is the day we have set aside to take our rest, our rest in the Lord.

  22. 5Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. The land is to have a year of rest.

When I think of “What now?” I think of rest. You’ve done all you can do, worked as hard as you could, gave it your all. Disappointment, self satisfaction or exhaustion can kick in if we don’t watch it. God prescribes a Sabath day and an ending to the constant work of our own hands. After the toil of working we need a season of rest to recharge our batteries, assemble as a church body and recieve His peace for our soul. God knows if we don’t take time out to do so we will exhaust ourselves. When we receive that nourishment we can get back up more powerful more useful in the kingdom than ever before!!

  23. 55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

The Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, he describes them as his servants. Lord I am your servant, guide me to do your will that I may decrease so you can increase in me.

  24. “What grows of its own accord of your harvest you shall not reap, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine, for it is a year of rest for the land.”(Leviticus‬ ‭25:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Not only is every owner of land to desist from cultivating it,but the spontaneous growth of the fields from the seeds that accidentally fell down at the harvest, as well as from old roots, are not to be gathered, or no harvest is to be made of it,but the vine which bears that the character of a Nazarite, or of being separated or consecrated to God.As in the seventh year in the sabbath of the Lord, being consecrated to Him, but in the Greek version (LXX.) translates it that “the grapes of thy consecration,” and hence, too, the marginal rendering “of thy separations.” In Jesus Name!!!

  25. Show your fear of God by not taking advantage of each other. I am the Lord your God.
    Leviticus 25:17 NLT
    http://bible.com/116/lev.25.17.NLT

We must always respect and treat others as we would like to be treated. When we treat our friends and neighbors with kindness and are fair with then they are seeing God in us and how we show reverence to our God.

  26. Leviticus 25: 38
I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

Where God brought me from… I can say I was in the land of Egypt spirituality and God has brought me to the land of Canaan. It doesn’t matter where we come from, the point is that God brought us here where we can grow spirituality and be able to help others to come to the Lord and grow not just in number but GROW in the Lord as well.

  27. LEVITICUS 25:38
I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

It doesn’t matter where God brought us from, the point is that we are here and we need to help other to come to the Lord and grow not just in number but also spirituality.

  28. God doesn’t want us as slaves to him. He doesn’t even want to force us to worship him. To the glory be God. This is a hard part for me. For so long I was a slave within myself. I thank God for his mercy and giving his word to me. I don’t know how else to put it. I thank you Jesus for removing the bonds from me and setting me free. Thank you for using me for your kingdom. I pray that you will use me to grow your kingdom and I thank you for strengthening me in your word. I have grown and released so much self hatred since you brought us to POFW. Thank you Pastor
Watts for being my light in the darkness. I have so much more to learn and to do for God, use me to free others that are stuck as bondservants. There are so many times that I felt as if I would never escape, thank you Jesus. I thank all the leaders of POFW for being there for us. Let’s all continue to grow and bring others to the glory of God. Let the Holy spirit be loosed upon us all. I love you all and have a good night……God be upon all and God bless…..Amen!!

I love the book of Acts
    Acts 2:44-46
    44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, (AKJV)

  29. 28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.

The devil cannot keep something that’s not his to start with. There are somethings God has promised us and in the year of jubilee it will be returned.

  30. v55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD.

Thank you JESUS for bringing us out of Egypt ( the world ) , to live as vessels of honor, requires separation from worldliness.

” Friendship of the world is enmity with GOD”

  31. 18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

We should not worry of what may come in the future in our nation and on the world. As long as we put God first, seek first his kingdom and righteousness, and obey his statutes and keep his judgments , He the Lord Jesus will take care of us. We shall dwell in safety

  32. 18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Life is so much more peaceful and joyous when we follow His ways…

  33. “But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.” The Lord (Creator) instructed that even the land was to observe the sabbath. One should consider, if the Lord (Jesus) was concerned about the land; how much more is he concerned about mankind, which he brought forth from it. Dear God, let us see there is a meaning, connection, and purpose in all your ways. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  34. “For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.” The Lord declared those whom he brought out were his servants. Surely the same is true today, for those whom the Lord brought out. God thank you for bringing us out of sin and help us too remember so that we may humbly serve you, in Jesus name.

  35. 18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.

I believe that this verse ties into Evangelist Smiths preaching. We have to prepare out alters to receive the fruit the land is about to yield. We have planted the seed, we continually do everything that we can do. God is about to bring waters to swim in, and will be because of our obedience to His word.

    #Grow

  36. 11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

  37. 38 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
God you brought me out of darkness into his marvelous light! Why in the world will I leave him? My worse day in church is better than the best day living for the world. I won’t turn back….nooooo! I won’t turn back!

  38. ““If one of your brothers becomes poor and has to sell any of his land, his nearest relative is to come and buy back what his brother sold. If a man has no one to redeem it but he later prospers and earns enough for its redemption, he is to calculate the value since he sold it and refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it; he can then go back to his own land. If he doesn’t get together enough money to repay him, what he sold remains in the possession of the buyer until the year of Jubilee. In the Jubilee it will be returned and he can go back and live on his land.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭25:25-28‬ ‭MSG‬‬
    http://bible.com/97/lev.25.25-28.msg

Jesus Christ did this for us. Adam sold us into slavery and Jesus bought us back. He is our kinsman redeemer.

  39. 38 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
thank God for the power of deliverance! He brought us into the wilderness to take us through the wilderness not to leave us there but to deliver us from evil. now we must share the gospel and the good news about our God To the world!

  40. “But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭25:4‬ ‭KJV

This must be where the thought of letting fields rest come from. Farmers sometimes switch crops or let the ground rest.

  41. 1 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

    To Pastor Watts:

This is your year of Jubile. A great year of joy! A year of increase! Happy 50th Birthday

  42. Verses 17-19 AMP “You shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God [with profound reverence]; for I am the Lord your God.‘Therefore you shall carry out My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them, so that you may live securely on the land. Then the land will yield its produce, so that you can eat your fill and live securely on it.” Obedience is key.

  43. 17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the Lord your God.

Fear!!!! If we fear God why do we sometimes do things as if Christ doesn’t see them. Jesus is the reason that we are even breathing and even able to move our fingers as we type this blog. Nothing is ours but EVERYTHING IS HIS!!!!!! Jesus is the only one we need and I will stand firm and His Word and not faint. Jesus gives us everything we need so why n t respect Him. You are just amazing Jesus!!!!

  44. 20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
22 And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

Even the land had a sabbath, a year of rest; something farmers don’t practice these days. Instead they artificially fertilize the soil because the it becomes depleted of nutrients. But when they obeyed the law of the land, they had food for the 7th year and also the 8th- (the year they could start sowing seed again.) God blessed them greatly in the 6th year harvest that their stored up food lasted until the harvest of the 9th year- amazing!

  45. Leviticus 25 18 Follow my degrees and be careful to obey my laws and you will live safely in the land then the land. Then the land will yield it’s fruit and you will eat your fill and live there in safety. You may ask what will we eat in 7 year if we do not plant or harvest our crops. I will send you such a blessing in the sixth years that the land will yield enough for three years. While you planned during the 8 year you will eat from the old crop and will continue to eat from it until the harvest of the ninth year comes in.

  46. “” ‘Suppose he is not bought back in any of those ways. Then he and his children must still be set free in the Year of Jubilee. That is because the people of Israel belong to me. They are my servants. I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord their God.”
    ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭25:54-55‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

Thank you Jesus I’ve been bought with a price …
“Don’t you know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit? The Spirit is in you. You have received him from God. You do not belong to yourselves. Christ has paid the price for you. So use your bodies in a way that honors God.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

  47. 4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
