Numbers 5

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the Lord spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

5 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the Lord, and that person be guilty;

7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

8 But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the Lord, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

9 And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.

10 And every man’s hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.

11 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,

13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;

14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the Lord:

17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:

18 And the priest shall set the woman before the Lord, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:

19 And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:

20 But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:

21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The Lord make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the Lord doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;

22 And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:

24 And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.

25 Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the Lord, and offer it upon the altar:

26 And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;

30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the Lord, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

31 Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

  1. iLove to Grow in the Word
    Well, I didn’t realize until this morning that the word “Holy Water” was in the Bible although I have read this passage several times.

    17 And the priest shall take “holy water” in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:

    That is some kind of purity test, and as I meditated on the scripture, I had a thought.

    “I wonder if that’s the reason some saints of the Most High God are bitter and are unable to bear spiritual children. The Lord is the Husband and these saints are the bride of Christ. Idolatry is the worship of stuff over God, this is considered spiritual adultery in the eyes of God.

    I say let’s be washed in the water of the word and turn our hearts completely to the Lord. Let’s let fresh water fill our being and let’s bear spiritual children in the name of Jesus!

  2. 2. Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

    Just as they put the unclean out from among the body of Israelites, we must also put anything unclean out from our own body as well. If it is unclean or causes us to be defiled or spiritually dead, it has to go.

    1 Corinthians 3:16-17
    16. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

    17. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

  3. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; (‭Numbers‬ ‭5‬:‭11-13‬ KJV)

    You can run, but not hide! The Lord knows and sees all things. We may think that we can hide our sins, but The Lord will always expose your sins. Thankfully through the preached word, conviction settles in the heart, It has a way of dealing with mankind, and lead you to the altar of repentance.
    If it wasn’t for the blood, where would I be today? Thank The Lord for the New Testament!!!

    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ KJV)

    Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5‬:‭17-19‬ KJV)

    Thankful and blessed!!! 🙌🙏

  4. Verses 5-6 NLT say “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel: If any of the people—men or women—betray the Lord by doing wrong to another person, they are guilty.” Same verses NIV “The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way[b] and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty”. Same verses MSG “God spoke to Moses: “Tell the People of Israel, When a man or woman commits any sin, the person has broken trust with God, is guilty, and must confess the sin.” You not only commit that betrayal, that unfaithfulness and broken trust with that individual; but, also with God. In the NLT verses 11-31 are captioned with “Protecting Marital Faithfulness”. We (not only couples) must protect our relationship with God.

  5. 29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;

    30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the Lord, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

    31 Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

    GOD IS A JEALOUS GOD, we can’t put nobody first, it must always be God! But if we are blessed to have a Husband all of our affections should be to God first and Him second, there’s no honor in cheating, it takes alot to earn trust and to lose it for a reason such as that, it will take longer to earn it back. But thinking in your mind that he/she done something they haven’t, signifies that there is a lack of trust. In my perspective it’s hard to trust someone who’s not here. But if I trust God who I can’t see, and who put him back in my life, how much more can I trust Him! I’m so Glad that Jesus SET ME FREE!

    Don’t count me out I’m still running, well a speed walk, but I’m still in the race. Thank you Jesus for endurance.

  6. Numbers 5:16
    And the priest shall bring her near and set before the Lord.

    We should want to set by the Lord like when we pray by the Lord. Grow with Jesus Amen

  7. “”Tell the Israelites that certain people must be sent away from the camp. Command them to send away anyone who has a skin disease. They must send away all those who have a liquid waste coming from their bodies. And they must send away those who are not ‘clean’ because they have touched a dead body. That applies to men and women alike. Send them out of the camp. They must not make their camp ‘unclean.’ That is where I live among them.” So the people of Israel did what the Lord commanded. They sent those who were not “clean” out of the camp. They did just as the Lord had directed Moses.”
    ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭5:2-4‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

    We could apply this to our lives today with sin. We must cut it off or it will contaminate and make our spiritual garments dirty. We must remain holy and blameless.

    “He did it to bring her to himself as a brightly shining church. He wants a church that has no stain or wrinkle or any other flaw. He wants a church that is holy and without blame.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:27‬ ‭NIRV

  8. 26 And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

    I’m glad that everything from the past is under the BLOOD!!! Yes there were consequences to many of those actions BUT HALELUJAH!!! CAUSE MY DADDY LOVES MEEEE!!! HE DIED FOR MEEEE!!! HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND HE MADE THIS VESSEL INTO A TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST!!! I AM BLOOD BOUGHT!!! AHA!!! HALELUJAH!!! THANK YOU JESUS, I KNOW WHERE HE FOUND ME AND I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT, BUTTTTT I ALSO KNOW WHO FOUND ME AND FOR THIS REASON ,I AM ALSO SO HUMBLED THAT THE KING OF KINGS WOULD WANT MEEEE!!! I KNOW JESUS!!! MY ABBA!!! I LOVE YOU DADDY!!!

  9. 3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

    4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the Lord spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

    The Lord is making sure that the camp is kept clean now that their families are staying together. Spiritual cleansing is what I see happening, The Lord commands Israel to live a righteous life by staying away from sin .

  10. Hidden Sins
    The significance of the test of a unfaithful wife is revealed in 5-10 .These state that a person who wrongs others in any way must confess his.sins and make restitution. Adultery is the classic hidden sin for it.is never committed where others can witness it.

  11. THE LAW OF JEALOUSY

    29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
    30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the Lord, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

    Jealousy is painful from all directions. I have never heard anyone say or pray. I desire more jealousy in my life.

    Song 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

    Jealousy is cruel as the grave. Therefore to be faithful and trustworthy in the spirit of humility is an attitude and atmosphere that will be pleasing to the LORD. The pains of spiritual and marital adultery are long lasting and painful.

    TRUST is priceless in every relationship. May GOD help us to unify our efforts in obeying HIS Word and fulfilling his call and commission.

    Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  12. 6 “Give the following instructions to the people of Israel: If any of the people—men or women—betray the Lord by doing wrong to another person, they are guilty. (NLT)

    The relationships we have with one another and with God must be built on a foundation of trust and faith. Above that, we must be sure God is first in our lives that He receives our very best, the first of all we do.

  13. God is a Jealous God

    Exodus 20:5

    “You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,
    Deuteronomy 4:24
    the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

    There are so many examples of jealousy in n the bible Saul & David, Joseph & his brothers, God and Israel, the Prodigal son & his brother, Hosea & Gomer and the list could continue….. So first the green monster of Jealousy is something that eventually brings out death, death in a relationship, physical death, and poisoning of the heart. Here in this passage as in so many woman become the corporate of the sin why you may ask??? Because of Eve, she was the first to fall so the world around us will always judge morality through the women. As in the case of adultery they only brought the female to be stone to death. She was caught in the act so that mean the man was present but they only brought her as we can read in John 8:1-11. God’s Love to us is pure, incorruptible, without blemish; but men is never happy enough, always looking for greener pastures. A perfect example of how God feels jealousy I’d in the book of Hosea, who is asked to wed a loose woman, an unfaithful woman, to give a visual example to Israel of their behavior with God. We as women need to keep in mind that we MUST handle the morality of our home, we are examples to the world of the modesty of our home. We must show loyalty and security to our God and Family. Yes, it is a lot to carry but it is the price established by our mother Eve falling for lucifer. God help us maintain a strong loving relationship with you and our families being full of true, pure, unadulterated love for you and our families today and always in Jesus Name Amen

  14. 28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

    You must trust your testimony.
    There will be times when we will be tried and tested, yet if you are living right, and placing God first in your life you shall not fear.

    1 Peter 2:12 (NLT)
    12 Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.

  15. 15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

    I’m so glad that when we repent Jesus forgives our sins and forgets them! The spirit of jealousy keeps the iniquity in remembrance. When we hold ought against someone we keep their trespass in the forefront of our minds. When we don’t forgive and release them we tell God we don’t want them to be forgiven. God will not forgive us if we do not forgive.

    Matthew 7:2

    For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

  16. Numbers 5:2-3 (NLT)
    “Command the people of Israel to remove from the camp anyone who has a skin disease or a discharge, or who has become ceremonially unclean by touching a dead person. This command applies to men and women alike. Remove them so they will not defile (to make filthy; dirty; pollute) the camp in which I live among them”

    The scripture that came to my mind is 2 Cor. 7:1 (NLT)
    “Because we have these promises, dear friend, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile (make filthy; dirty; pollute) our body and spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

    The scripture tells us in 2 Cor. 6:16 that we are the temple of the living God, and He wants to dwell and walk in us. He will be our God, and we will be His people. BUT the only way God can dwell, live, and walk in us is if our temples are cleansed from all defilement (filth, dirt, pollution) – sin.

    So work toward (GROWing in) Holiness in God – without which no man shall see the Lord. (Heb. 12:14)

  17. 29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
    30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the Lord, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

    Jealousy and adultery are both terrible sins:

    With adultery, you sin against the Lord and against your own body according to 1 Cor 3: 15-18-Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid….Our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Keep it pure & holy.

    Jealousy is like unforgiveness-it eats you up inside. Jealousy is caused by someone’s actions, words or behavior and it can be prevented in most cases (there are cases of mistrust with no probable cause). Don’t give your spouse a reason to be jealous!

  18. 3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

    4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the Lord spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israe

    God wants us to keep our spiritual house is clean. He also wants the curch to be clean. We should not allow ourselves to defile the house of God with ungodly things and sin but before we even step foot into the sanctuary we should repent and ask God to cleanse our hearts of all sin and iniquity so that we will not to file the house of God.

  19. The husband will be innocent of any guilt in this matter, but his wife will be held accountable for her sin.”
    Numbers 5:31 NLT
    http://bible.com/116/num.5.31.NLT

    We will all be held accountable for our decisions and actions. Even when we think no one is looking, the fact of the matter is that God knows all and sees all. We cant lie to God.

  20. 27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

    If this sin was committed, not only did it affect her but her people as well. When a sin is committed it not only affects a certain person but the people who surround he/she . Be very careful not to drag your friends/ family down by your wrong doing. People are watching, what are we showing? Let’s lead by example as God’s holy people!

  21. 6“Say to the Isrealites: ‘Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty 7 and must confess the sin they have committed. They must make full restitution for the wrong they have done, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the person they have wronged.

    Restitution= Restoration
    Reconciliation= Restoration/ Reunion
    Forgiveness=Remission/ Pardon/ Absolution

    Their are two steps to restitution
    #1 (repent) confess his sin
    #2 Make full restitution for the wrong they have done.

    A wrong that is made is against God, yourself and the person. Satisfaction must be made for the offence done to God, as well as for the loss sustained by the neighbor; restitution in that case is not enough without faith and repentance. You cannot find restitution without completing these steps. If we do not restore the offence God will not restore us, the same way if we don’t repent we will not be forgiven. Saying sorry is not enough, seeking restitution is how forgiveness and reconciliation will follow. While that which is wrongly gotten is knowingly kept, the guilt remains on the conscience, and is not done away by sacrifice or offering, prayers or tears; for it is the same act of sin persisted in. This is the word of God. It detects hypocrites, and directs the tender conscience to proper conduct, which, springing from faith in Christ, will make way for inward peace. God will not forgive us until we forgive ourselves and others. We will not find restitution or reconciliation until we restore and unify that which was lost by the damage made.

  22. The healing of your issues.

    2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

    Have you ever hear the phrase ,” You have issues!?” The issues here in the bible were sicknesses. Many things that we would consider minor things today, would hinder you from going into the temple to praise God back in those days. So the question is what are your issues that are hindering you from giving your all?

    In the New Testament we find our answer.
    “And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:43-47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    For twelve years this woman was unable to go into the temple and worship God. She wasn’t on the ground “as I have heard this story told.” She pushed her way through the crowd and made up in her mind that if she could just touch him. That’s it. Just a touch that she would be healed. We as “saved” Christians have a mentality that others need a greater touch of God than me. I’ll just stay back and pray from a distance. Why!?!?! Do we all not need something from God? Do we think that because we’re saved that we won’t need things from God. The woman with the issue knew she had issues. And she pressed through what people would say about her, thought about her, or even did about her. She needed to touch God. So many times we pray Lord touch me tonight. Lord please give me…. When was the last time you pressed your way to the throne of God? The bible says faith without works is dead. Very true. Maybe that works is also us just going to him and pressing our way to Him. Because we need something from him. When a dweller of a country needed something from the king. They would go to the king. The king would never go to the village. Gid wants us to come to him and petition our case before him. Come to the throne where God dwells. He is always here.

  24. 12 “Tell the People of Israel, Say a man’s wife goes off and has an affair, is unfaithful to him 13 by sleeping with another man, but her husband knows nothing about it even though she has defiled herself. And then, even though there was no witness and she wasn’t caught in the act, 14 feelings of jealousy come over the husband and he suspects that his wife is impure. Even if she is innocent and his jealousy and suspicions are groundless, 15 he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of two quarts of barley flour for her. He is to pour no oil on it or mix incense with it because it is a Grain-Offering for jealousy, a Grain-Offering for bringing the guilt out into the open.MSG
    This is strong speaking here in these verses, however we all need to hear this. To the Fusion Class having an affair on your spouse is when you are even thinking about another person other than your spouse. Wives shouldn’t be texting or calling other wives husbands and that goes for the men too. If you have to talk to the opposite sex may sure your spouse is there with you. That is how rumors get started and also your mind starts wondering where it shouldn’t. Let’s be faithful to our spouse and be there for each other. The world would like nothing more than to bust up marriages in the church today. As long as we put God first in our marriages we can make it.

  25. 2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

    3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

    I’m thankful for the grace and mercy of the Lord. If a leper was in their midst they had to cast him outside of the camp. Today, there are many leper that we worship the Lord with. Leporsey is a type of “sin”. If it wasn’t for the grace of God, those who are addicted, sin ravaged, lost and hopeless would not even be able to come into a church full of faith and be set free, healed and delivered.

    Let us never forget that God has called each of us to fulfill His word:

    Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;.

  26. NLT 6) give the following instructions to the people of Israel if any of the people men or women betray the lord by doing wrong to another person they are guilty 7) they much confess their sing and make full restitution f2f or what they have done adding an additional 20 percent and returning it to the person who was wronged

  27. We are to separate from sin and commit ourselves unto GOD.
    ” Save yourselves from this untoward generation ” Acts 2:40

    The choice is ours

  28. 6 “Say to the Israelites: ‘Any man or woman who wrongs another in any way[b] and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty

    We work best when we work together! Why talk about a brother or sister, when we know nothing good will come out of it?! I pray that we build our relationship with each other so we can work better in Gods kingdom!

  29. Numbers 5:27

    27 If she has defiled herself in being unfaithful to her husband, when she drinks the water that delivers a curse, it will enter her body and cause acute pain; her belly will swell and her womb shrivel. She will be cursed among her people.

    Infidelity and immorality caused her stomach to swell and according to the message version her womb would shrivel.

    When we fall into spiritual adultery we may look full but our ability to produce souls in the kingdom of God will become hindered.

    Our faithfulness to God doesn’t just affect us but it also affects those around us. When we flirt with the world it could be a the cost of losing a soul to the clutches of the enemy.

  30. 6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the Lord, and that person be guilty; 7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

    The word of God (Jesus) instructed what was required to make things right. Unfortunately thoughts and/or actions are often different, when there is a monetary price. Dear God, help us (me) to see the true value in making things right; as the consequences may be eternal.

  31. 3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell. 4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the Lord spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

    The children of Israel were aware of what would happen if they did not obey, as such they did without question. God help us too also see what will be done if we fail to listen, while there is still time; in Jesus name.

  32. 7. Th en he shall confess the sin which he has committed. He shall make restitution for his trespass in full, plus one fitth of it, and give it to to the one he has wronged
    8. But if the man has no relative to whom restitution may be made for the wrong, the restitution for the wrong must go to the Lord for the priest , in addition to the ram of the atonement with which atonement is made for him.

  33. 7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

  34. 1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

    2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

    3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

    It is by the grace of God that we are mandated to compel people to come into the house of God that his house may be full.

  35. 2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

    3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

    The importance of why the Lord commanded this, even though it is only mildly contagious, it is symbolic of sin. Being put out of camp for the very reason why God would be able to dwell within the camp, because it was not undefined. Putting sin out of your life when it ever shows its ugly face is the best way to keep Gods presence. So neither give place to the devil, cast him out and Gods presence will always have a place in your life.

  36. The waters

    22 And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen

    There are two waters.
    This water is the poison of life. The decisions that we make and circumstances
    that we go through sometimes leads us to bitterness and hatefulness. But God said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. This is when you let all the pain go and get full of God.

  37. Bringing Remembrance

    In order to have healthy relationships, there must be times when sins are confronted. A lot of the work invested in relationships usually deals with loving a person despite the wrong or unpleasant things they may do but there is still great importance for those times when wrongs must be confronted and resolution must be gained. Doing this properly, not out of condemnation or contempt, is not a pleasant task, and it will cost you to do it and will be a sacrifice, but it is worth it. The pleasant oil and perfume is instead replaced by simple truth and the bitter pain of sin. Bringing remembrance of sinful matters into the light is not easy for either party and requires the love of God in proper confrontation to bring about the possibility for the best potential resolution. Confrontation may not led to the response we want but it is necessary nonetheless for the health of any relationship.

    Matthew 18:15
    Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

  38. Proverbs 10:10
    An evasive eye is a sign of trouble ahead, but an open, face-to-face meeting results in peace.

    Communication has suffered in our lives as a result of technology. Sometimes, people are more comfortable having difficult discussions over text or email rather than face-to-face. It irritates me when people try to have difficult conversations with me through technology. Good eye contact is one of the social skills a lot of people seem to be struggling with these days. Making eye contact is the key to your face-to-face interactions. Spouses, look into your mates eyes and have a conversation.

  39. 29“This is the ritual law for dealing with suspicion. If a woman goes astray and defiles herself while under her husband’s authority.

    Wow, what a test to be put through for a woman. If a marriage is in good shape, trust is involved, love is expressed, and under God’s guidance, then the man or woman would have no need to defile their marriage.

  40. 7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

    When we tresspass or sin, sometimes not only do we have to make it up with God by repenting from our sins and turning away from those sins, but we also gotta make it up to the people that we have wronged in the process. We can’t just brush it off and say that it wasn’t a big deal or the person will forgive you for it. We need to be the bigger man and woman and own up when we make mistakes, especially mistakes that affect other people.

  41. Numbers 5:5 The Lord said to Moses say to the Israelites any man or women who wrongs an another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord is guilty and must confess the sin they have committed. They must make full restitution for the wrong they have done add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the person they have wronged. But if that person has no close relative to whom restitution ca be made for the wrong g the restitution belongs to the Lord and must be given to the priest along with the ram with which atonement is made for the wrongdoer. All the sacred contributions the Israelites bring to a priest will belong to him. Sacred things belong to their owners but what they give to the priest will belong to the priest.

  42. If God told us to put the dead things out of he camp, then why are some people so eager to celebrate them and bring them into their home? Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos are two such days when people celebrate and gather these dead things back into our homes. Jesus help is to have conviction on our hearts hat we would fully understand the complexities of our actions and turn to you for salvation and light.
