Numbers 13

1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

3 And Moses by the commandment of the Lord sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.

4 And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.

5 Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori.

6 Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

7 Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph.

8 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Oshea the son of Nun.

9 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu.

10 Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi.

11 Of the tribe of Joseph, namely, of the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi.

12 Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli.

13 Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.

14 Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi.

15 Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.

16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.

17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:

18 And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.

21 So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.

22 And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)

23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.

24 The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.

25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.

29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

  1. THE TRAGEDY OF DISUNITY

What GOD intended to be a guided tour of their future home, became a death march in the wilderness. They all saw the same sights, observed the same people, serve the same GOD. But, were not unified in their FAITH.

Joshua and Caleb were able to view the future through the eyes of FAITH. The others saw the w o r k involved in taking possession. When there is no VISION, people perish. My prayer for The POFW is that we are unified in FAITH.

GOD moves through FAITH. Questioning and doubting leads to defeat. We are called to WIN for JESUS.

  2. Verses 31-32 NLT says “But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge.” It all started when they disagreed and the other men gave their bad report. So whose report will you believe???? We will believe the report of the Lord, as the song says:

We will believe the report of the Lord,
we will trust in Him, worship in one accord,
    He is marvelous in power,
always strong in the midnight night hour,
now is the time for the divine favor of the Lord

We must be in one accord and trust in Him.

  3. iLove to Grow in the Word

“Moses gave the men these instructions as he sent them out to explore the land: “Go north through the Negev into the hill country. See what the land is like, and find out whether the people living there are strong or weak, few or many. See what kind of land they live in. Is it good or bad? Do their towns have walls, or are they unprotected like open camps?”
    ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭13:17-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

As leaders, we must be careful the way we word our questions and be careful what we ask. When the spy’s came back with their report, they answered the questions that Moses had asked. I wonder what would have happened if Moses would have said something like, “ok team, we are planning for attack, go into the land and devise the plans and strategies for attack and bring back some fruit as well.”

  4. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

After seeing the land and seeing the Giants, yes the wanted to possess the land but they had a defeated mind set so they weren’t able to see what God wanted for them. Many times when we go through a very tough time in our life the blessing is right there but because of our defeated way of thinking we get in the way of The Lord blessing us. It’s time we allow The Lord to bless us and take these giants that are hindering us down. Our blessing is right there, see the vision, and let’s see what God is going to do in our lives.

  5. 1. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

    2. Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

    17. And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:

    18. And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

God didn’t need those men to tell Him what the land looked like or who lived there, He already knew everything about it; He just wanted to see how they were going view the land and the obstacles to taking it.

God doesn’t need us to tell Him how big our problems are, He just wants us to compare them to Him and know that He is able to deliver us and see us through to what He has planned for our lives.

  6. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. (‭Numbers‬ ‭13‬:‭30-31‬ KJV)

Don’t allow fear to keep you from the blessings of GOD! The Lord had already told Moses that it was the land he was giving to Israel.
And if the Lord said it then IT IS already done!

Let us obtain what The Lord already has for us(POFW)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ KJV)

Let us ‘walk by FAITH, and NOT by sight’

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5-6‬ KJV)

He’s a ‘good, good Father’ He desires the best for His children!!!

  7. 40, 40, 40…

The spies took 40 days to spy out Canaan (Numbers 13:25).
God sent rain 40 days and 40 nights (Genesis 7:12).
Moses spent 40 years in the desert tending flocks (Acts 7:30).
Moses was on Mount Sinai for 40 days and 40 nights (Exodus 24:18).
The Israelites wandered for 40 years (Deuteronomy 8:2-5).
Goliath taunted Saul’s army for 40 days before David arrived to slay him (1 Samuel 17:16).
40 Days of Passion (POFW 2016)

    Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

I love it when the Lord plants a song in my heart when I wake up.

    Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.

This is my story, this is my song,
    praising my Savior all the day long;
this is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.

  8. 2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
3 And Moses by the commandment of the Lord sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.

Not every leader is a good leader!!!
Not every leader possesses the want to, to be a good leader ………..
I am thankful for a REAL PASTOR AND FIRST LADY THAT ARE GREAT LEADERS!!! There are many leaders BUT NOT LIKE THE LEADERS GOD HAS BLESSED US WITH AT POFW!!! HALELUJAH!!!
WHEN I GROW UP I WANT TO BE JUST LIKE THEM!!! OH YES I DO!!! HALELUJAH!!! =D

  9. 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
thank God for the spirit of Caleb people who will not allow circumstances to dictate their faith. instead of whimpering and cowering like the rest he understanding the promise of God said we are well able to overcome this land! Don’t let the devil tell you you can’t do what God has already promised you!

  10. Except for the fact

“Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.”
    ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭13:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The report they came back with may have been true but there was some “except for the facts” they left out or forgot.

The people be strong that dwell in the land, BUT our God is stronger

The cities are walled and very great, BUT our God is greater

We saw the children of Anak there, BUT our God is bigger.

No body greater than you, nobody stronger than you
No name is higher than the name of Jesus
Nobody bigger than you no one can do what you do no name is higher than the name of Higher than the name of Jesus

    • The rulers that were sent hadn’t been discipled?
They were told what to look for, what were they lacking? I know that, On the way there they had been SPOILED, like spoiled babies that cry and get there way. although rulers but still spoiled.
They probably thought that they were going to cry and GOD was just going to hand it over to them without having to lift one finger.
Sometimes that’s what we do as Christians, pray and cry out to GOD, but when it’s time to do something we stop in our tracks and refuse to obtain the blessings of THE LORD!
      2 Timothy 1:7(KJV)
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Well IT’S TIME TO WORK!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  11. 6 Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

Caleb was out of Judah, “PRAISE”. Praise will always get us to look onto God, and what He can do. It will keep us positive. It will build our faith. Caleb being from the house of praise keep his eyes on what God would do, not what he could do with his own might. Caleb stayed positive and his faith grew.

As we encounter challenges and opportunities, we too need to praise and allow our faith to raise and keep our focus on what Jesus is doing, not what we think we can do, because the Word even tells us that it’s not by might nor by power but by my spirit says The Lord.

  12. 30 But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!”
31 But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” (NLT)

When you are faced with a challenging situation, or time of decision, these verses example the two ways you can respond. It’s smart to recognize your own strengths and weaknesses, but it’s also smart to realize that God is on your side, and guess what, He has no weaknesses! He is stronger, higher, and bigger than anything or anyone we could ever face.

  13. Faith and work need to be together. The ten men saw a impossible mission, because the mission required work and faith in God. Caleb and Joshua knew that Gid already delivered by faith the Land for them when He said go and take it. They believed in the power and authority of the One who told the Word. We have to believe in the Word of the One, Jesus!

  14. Negativity is a sin

33 And there we saw the giants, the sons ofl Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Where is your faith? If your faith lays on men, you will fall quickly, for men by nature is a sinner. However, if your faith is in Christ Jesus, the Rock of Ages, your foundation is strong and wavers not. Believe it or not and it may sound like a clishé but everything g else is sinking sand. So stand and tell the mountain HOW BIG IS YOUR GOD, instead of shying away in fear and never being able to see what God CAN do for you.

  15. 31-33 But the others said, “We can’t attack those people; they’re way stronger than we are.” They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, “We scouted out the land from one end to the other—it’s a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge. Why, we even saw the Nephilim giants (the Anak giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers.”

    Perception.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I do know that there are certain bugs that creep me out. I don’t care how much bigger I am then that little spider or bug, they scare me!

Imagine how the event could have changed with their perception.
What if they compared themselves to a spider or a scorpion? Understanding that they may be small but they still have power.

We must have the same mentality, no matter our size or situation with God we have power!

Allow your perception to change your circumstance for the better!

  16. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

Hallelujah!!!! I serve a mighty God that created everything and nothing is stronger than Him unless I give that strength the devil. The devil is so powerless but yet knows how to make people think otherwise. Jesus knows how many hairs we have in our head, created everything, is faithful , loyal, and yet we sometimes doubt in Him. Don’t let fear or confusion get to you because its not of God. Whatever feeling that you might feel that is not of God its not of God!!!! God didn’t create us for failure but to use us and reach those that are lost!!! Amen!!!

  17. 17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:

    18 And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

    19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

  18. 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

Caleb wanted to claim his promise that the Lord had for them right there and then! But the others weren’t ready, they didn’t want to put in the effort, to me it seemed as though they were scared, so instead of having faith they put doubt in the heart of others, and caused division!

  19. Optimist vs. Pessimist
    Faith vs. Fear

    Numbers 13:30-31
    30) And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
    31) But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

Optimism is the tendency to take the most hopeful view of matters or to expect the best outcome in any circumstances; practice of looking on the bright side of things. (Faith is believing)
Pessimism is the tendency to expect misfortune or the worst outcome in any circumstances; practice of looking on the dark side of things. (Fear is doubt)

So the question is… How do you look at the “giants” in your life? Are you optimistic and have faith in God that He will help you overcome your “giant,” or are you pessimistic and have fear of what man can do to you?

    As the song says…
Our God is Greater, Our God is Stronger,
God you are Higher than any other.
Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power.
    Our God, Our God.
And if Our God is for us, than who could ever stop us,
And if Our God is with us, then what can stand against.

So be of “Good Courage” today. Be Optimistic and have Faith in God knowing that NOTHING Is To Hard For OUR GOD!

  20. 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

There was positive and negative reports from the people who went to search the land. God can do anything, if the promise of God is to take over the land then we should take it no matter what obstical gets in the way. God makes a way when there is no way. Fear was set in the men that scouted the land, but Caleb was the only one who said we’ll overcome whoever lives there and we will posses the land. He had great faith, without faith we can’t please God!!

  21. Don’t let fear steal your victory!!

God had already promised them the land all they had to do was go and possess it, but they let fear creep in and steal their land! We at POFW need to let go of the mindset of fear and receive the mindset of faith. God has already promised us this city, it is up to us to go and posses it!!

    18. And see the land, what it is; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;

God didn’t need those men to tell Him what the land looked like or who lived there, He already knew everything about it; He just wanted to see how they were going view the land and the obstacles to taking it.

  23. The Giants of your lands.

And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Just because you think you can’t overcome those things in your life doesn’t mean God can’t do it. For if God be for us. Who can be against us? No one or nothing. When God is with us we can do all things through him.

  24. 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

To every good report there will be nay sayers who are convinced that you can not do it. But when God called you to do something he has already given you the victory! We have to make up in our minds not to listen to the voices under the enemies deception but focus on the voice of God even if he is the only one telling you to take the land

  25. 27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

If God gives you the opportunity the see, touch, and taste of a blessing he has put into your hands wouldn’t you fight for it? The twelve tribes of Israel had that opportunity. Ten were coward and scared of the work claiming their promise would take. Two saw the promise and made up in their mind that they were going to trust in the report of the Lord and no giant was going to get in their way. Fighting might seem like too much work, and some times it feels like it is, but its for the Glory of God! The fruit and evidence is all there. If God gives you something then certainly He will empower you to overcome the situations and obstacles that lay ahead. Some dreams and promises of God come little by little. How much do we want it, the enemy and God both want to know? The enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy the things of God like the little foxes that ruin the vine (SS 2:15). The tactic is to enstill fear, deception, doubt, confusion and discouragement to lure away from the promises of God to take you out before you ever put up a fight.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

  26. 31) but the men that went up with him said we be not able to go up against the people for they are stronger 32) and they brought up and evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel saying the land through which we have gone to search it is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature 33) And there we saw the giants the son of Anak which come of the giants and we were in our own sight as grasshopper and so we were in their sight

  27. 1 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. Thank you Jesus! You are a way maker! Thank you for building a hedge of protection for us and around us. We don’t have to worry about our enemies, he will take of them for us!

  28. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

We must be careful who we are running with. 12 men sent to spy out the promised land and the fruit thereof. However, 10 of them saw things through the negative eye while 2 saw what they could do with the Lord. They were in the land for 40 days searching it, disconnected from the rest of the group.

Being disconnected from what God is doing and saying to us as a “church body” will cause individuals to become isolated, and taint their view on many things. Instead of being positive, they become negative because they are not connected like they should be.

We must stay connected, stay connected to friends of like vision, stay disconnected from negative people and see what promises the Lord will bring us too.

  29. 2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
3 And Moses by the commandment of the Lord sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.

God was giving this land flowing with milk and honey, a good land, yet they still have not learned to trust God as their provider and protector. The decision wasn’t theirs to make, God already made it. Their job was to follow his leading to obtain his promise. Trust and obey still goes for us today as we move forward to obtain our promises!

  30. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

What are you gonna do when you face some giants in your life? Are you gonna whine about how they are in your way and you’re never gonna get to where you want to? Cause the obstacles in your way are too big? Nothing is too big for God.

I had to deal with some giants in my own life this week, it was rough and it got frustrating at times, but when I learned to trust on God, everything turned out alright, and God provided a way where I didn’t think I could make a way. There is no giant in your life that God hasn’t prepared you for, he just needs you to trust him and let him deal with the giants.

  31. 30-31
Caleb and the other spies possessed the same facts about Canaan and it’s inhabitants . But there perspective was different. An old chorus sums up the difference. Other saw the giants . Caleb saw the Lord. We should.face.difficulties realistically. Bit most of all we need.to remain aware.of God and share Caleb’s confidence that We Can Do It with His help.

  32. Numbers 13:31-33

31 But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” 32 So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. 33 We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”

    But what about God?
Did he not just split a mighty uncross able river?
Did not fire and hail fall from the sky?
Did not darkness cover the earth?
Did not he kill every firstborn whose house was without the blood?
Were not Pharaoh and his men overthrown?

The Hebrews forgot what God had done and let the fear of the unknown cripple them.

If we forget what God has done we could fall into the same trap and be shackled by an invisible enemy.

  33. 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

Many times the obstacles we face are a matter of preceptio and lost identity. Who are we and who is our God? Miracle after miracle, sign after sign and wonders all over did they not expsrience but still saw the natural obstacle bigger than a mighty supernatural God. They saw themselves small because that is the mentality they had of God….they lacked relationship. It is through relationship that you get to know and win a mutual trust. When you know your God you know who you are in him not because of who you are but because of who He is. The Great I Am. You will trust all his prominses and all of his Word. May we choose this day to belive the report of the Lord, to be a Caleb…may we choose to grow in relationship with him that we may know that if God is for me, who can be against me?

  34. 25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

For 40 days they spied the land and still came back with a bad report. We just ended 40 days of passion and I am great full for a good report. I have so many testimonies of how faith has increased and lives have been impacted.

  35. “And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many”. Moses was wise in that he first obeyed God (Jesus), and secondly that he was patient enough to gather intelligence. One that simply does, is unwise. Dear God, help us (me) to seek your will first and too be patient enough too plan. May God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  36. “And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.” The Lord allowed them to see what was promised, however some only seen obstacles. What may be an obstacle for someone may not be for another, which is why unity and faith is necessary. God help us to have faith in you and work together so that we can overcome any obstacle, in Jesus name.

  37. In this chapter, spies where sent to survey the land & people that dwell. They discovered a great land full of milk and honey with great fruit. But, fear overtook their joy and were intimidated regarding the Giants. Their self esteem had already defeated them, before any giant confronted them. See what kind of intimidation is keeping you from your promise land. “Our God is bigger”………

    “Be blessed”……………………

  38. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

  39. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

    Appearances can be deceiving

I have dealt with these kind of people in my military career. I was going thru a trading program designed to weed out the weak minded. It was a physically intense program made to get your mind to push you past your physical limitation. My Sargent had a way recruits that were big, muscular, and prideful. He would put them in the swimming course and break them.

Calebs mindset saw victory, he saw past the barbaric looking, tall, muscular, men of war that inhabited those lands, because he was armed with the promise of God. He that just like before, with God we can do anything.

We also need to stand boldly if we stand with God on our side. No devil in hell can keep us from the promises of God for his people. Appearances can be deceiving, don’t forget he’s only LIKE a roaring lion! Don’t fall for it!

  40. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

When you (I) lack faith, God will turn away. It is in our (my) nature to turn from something that we (I) are afraid of. We (I) don’t have to be afraid. God is with us and has his hand on our (my) hearts. Our church is great and mighty in the sight of God, therefor fear is not an option. Go be bold in Jesus name, for as long as he is with us. No one can stand against us. We (I) have the favor of God, our (my) house is blessed. Never lose sight of that nor give into the fear, that is the enemies playground. Be in the World, but not of the world…..God bless all….Amen!!!

  41. The vision of a winner

30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

People that win see themselves winning. In a fight I could look into someone’s eyes and see when they had given up. Caleb saw victory in the land. Caleb saw what no one else could see. He saw Gods will.

  42. Intimidation comes when we compare ourselves to others, especially when we feel inferior. Lesson? Stop comparing yourself to others. You are the only you this world has ever seen. Own it and let God use you.

  43. 17 Moses gave the men these instructions as he sent them out to explore the land: “Go north through the Negev into the hill country. 18 See what the land is like, and find out whether the people living there are strong or weak, few or many.

I just wonder, why did Moses send out men to spy on the land? God had already told Moses, what the land would look like. Maybe Moses started having second thoughts about taking this land. The same can happen to us if we allow others to influence our decisions. Once God makes a promise, he will keep it. Trust in the Lord at all times!
    Pray
    Until Something
    Happens

  44. v30″ Let us go up at once, and possess it, for we are well able to overcome it.”

“Keep believing, in what you know is true”
    Keep speaking HIS WORD.
