2 Chronicles 5

1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.

4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.

6 Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.

7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:

8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

9 And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.

10 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.

11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

  1. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    I know that for a group of people to come to a perfect harmony that they sound as one it is one of the most difficult things to achieve. It most of been the most beautiful and sweet sound for the glory of the Lord to have fallen as thick as it did that the priest could not minister. I can see it happening at POFW for we have had services and prayers that His Holy Presence has fallen as a fire that could not be contained. Thank you Jesus for a Pastor that speaks Truth, thank you Jesus for Bro and Sis that uplift one another in prayer, Thank you Jesus for you Are A Mighty and Merciful God!!!!

  2. Verses 11-14 CEV “The priests of every group had gone through the ceremony to make themselves clean and acceptable to the Lord. The Levite musicians, including Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their sons and relatives, were wearing robes of fine linen. They were standing on the east side of the altar, playing cymbals, small harps, and other stringed instruments. One hundred twenty priests were with these musicians, and they were blowing trumpets. They were praising the Lord by playing music and singing: “The Lord is good, and his love never ends.” Suddenly a cloud filled the temple as the priests were leaving the holy place. The Lord’s glory was in that cloud, and the light from it was so bright that the priests could not stay inside to do their work.” Wow…..what an awesome sound that must have been and a sight to see the Lord’s glory in that cloud.

  3. 13 The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the Lord with these words: “He is good! His faithful love endures forever!” At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the Lord.
    14 The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God. (NLT)

    What an AWEsome experience; one we should all desire to have, one I wish to see occur among us!

  4. 14. The priests could not carry out their duties because of the cloud; the LORD’s splendor filled God’s temple. NET

    Sometimes God has other plans than what we have scheduled and we just have to step aside and let Him have His way; and we don’t do it grudgingly because we always receive the benefit of having done so.

  5. UNITY!!! We have great services at P.O.F.W and there is MORE, we have to strive to GROW MORE!!! WHEN WE OBEY THE CALL TO UNITE GREATER THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!!!

  6. “The trumpet players and singers made music together as if they were only one voice. They praised the Lord. They gave thanks to him. Some of them played their trumpets, cymbals and other instruments. The others raised their voices to praise the Lord. They sang, “He is good. His faithful love continues forever.” Then a cloud filled the temple of the Lord. The priests couldn’t do their work because of it. The glory of the Lord filled God’s temple.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

    I would have loved to have been there to experience this event. This is my prayer for POFW. That we would we play and sing as one. We would praise and give thanks to Him.

  7. 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, 14 and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

    Welcome God with your praise! This is so amazing! I can image everyone praising and worshiping, then God comes in and takes control! This just makes me excited for what God has instore for POFW! What an awesome God we serve!

  8. And it came even pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

    I’m am so glad that we can ;now enter into the holy place . Only the priest were allowed to go into the Holy Place. How much more do we need to realize our time in the presence of God is such a privelage. A price was paid for us to enter into His presence. Daily communication given to us so that we too can be sanctified. The old timers use to testify I’m saved sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. This is because they knew sanctification was about purification. They knew that their life had been changed and they had been sanctified. Daily coming into His presence into the Holy Place with God.

  9. When God shows up in your praise.

    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    When we have unity in our praise and worship to God. He comes is and takes over. It’s time to get back to our first love. Our love for praise and worship.

  10. 1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

    Solomon could have decided not to bring in the things His father David had set aside for the house of the Lord. Yet he did and he placed them among the treasures of the house.

    Proverbs 23:10
    Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:

    It is important that we leave treasures for our children to hold onto. The Word of God, integrity, and selflessness are all great things to show our children in hopes that they will model it.

    It is also equally important for our children to recognize the importance of these things and portray it for the next generation. We must learn to preserve the Word of God and integrity in hopes that we do not raise a generation that does not know the importance of relationship with God and humanity. “A generation that goes to church but have no clue of how to be the church.”

  11. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
    The unity of the people brought a move of God. As each one took their place and joined together to lift up praises to God the spirit of God came down to meet them. If the church is of the same spirit and attitude today there is no telling how powerful of a move of God we could have!

  12. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    Praise and worship is what gets the attention of God. When we are all in for his plan and will for our lives and when we are passionate in our love for him, his glory will come down

  13. 11 Then the priests left the Holy Place. All the priests who were present had purified themselves, whether or not they were on duty that day.

    A leader is ready at all times!

  14. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    UNITY!!!

  15. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    They were in one accord in praising and thanking the Lord. That is beautiful!!!!They united using their talents to lift up the name of the Lord. So important to go to church and just lift up his name. We were made to worship Him. Many times we go in there consumed with our own problems or worries that we don’t focus on what were there for. This is what we all need to do as a body of Christ unite our talents and glorify the name of the Lord. None of our labour is in vain. I will receive my reward one day but for now work, work, work so I can be blessed. There is nothing better than working for the kingdom of God. Thank you Jesus for pulling me out of the pit I was at!!!!

  16. 13 The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to God – orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to God: Yes! God is good! His loyal love goes on forever! 14 The priests couldn’t even carry out their duties because of the cloud – the glory of God! – that filled The Temple of God. MSG
    It all sounds so beautiful when everyone is in one mind and one accord and singing the same song.

  17. AN ORDINARY BUILDING WITHOUT THE GLORY OF GOD

    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    What is the purpose of the church building if it is not to house the power, presence and glory of GOD? We are scripturally encouraged to examine ourselves to see if we are IN the faith. As we enter into the House of the LORD to worship HIM. We see the approach we should take here.

    1. UNITY in the Music Ministry. The musicians should be on key and on tune, the singers should be in harmony.
    2. THANKSGIVING from our hearts. We should approach JESUS with an attitude and spirit of thanksgiving.
    3. SING LOUD in praise. We should lift up our voice unto the LORD in Praise.

    The result is humbling, the GLORY of GOD will manifest so strong that we will all fall to our faces in repentance and relationship with JESUS.

    I pray that The POFW will hunger for this kind of supernatural demonstration and prepare our lives in every way to see it happen.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap

  18. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    What an awesome experience to have not only heard the musicians and singers in unity, but to have experienced the glory of God so strong in that temple that He brought their service to a stand still! He took over and confirmed to each person there that he was THE God and he was pleased with the building and their worship. We serve a mighty God!

  19. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    This is one of the greatest examples of what will happen when the Praise Team and the Congregation come together as ONE! We fight through so many distraction trying to get everyone to participate in praise and worship so that this goal can be accomplished: the house to be filled with a cloud of His glory.

  20. 2 Chronicles 5:11 The priest then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves regardless of their divisions. All the Levites who were musicians Asaph Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives stood on the east side of the alter dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpet cymbals and other instruments the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang. He is good his love endures forever. Then the temple of the Lied was filled with the cloud and the priest could not perform their service because of the cloud for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

    Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let us all pray and be in unity as we come in the sanctuary that God’s Glory will fall in the middle of our worship and our Pastor cannot even finish his preaching because of the glory of God.

  21. Unity is one of Gods prized possessions and one of mine also. It takes a lot of work and prayer to achieve unity. GO POFW!!! THANK YOU JESUS

  22. 11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

    12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    Look what God did he bless them for there sacrifices for building the temple of the lord. Once when everyone came together in unity there was a cloud that hung over that tabernacle the preist weren’t able to minister to the people because the glory of the lord is so strong. Being in unity isnt an option, its and order from God.

  23. 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    So it will be in the end: Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

  24. 2 Chronicles 5:12-14
    12) Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals, and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:
    13) It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
    14) So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

    This is what I would call INTENSE PRAISE and WORSHIP!

    They were as ONE, to make ONE sound to be heard in Praising and Thanking the LORD. UNITY!! And this is when the house was filled with a cloud – the glory of the LORD.
    When we come together in UNITY, in ONE heart and ONE mind and in ONE accord with the praise singers and muscicians, what a mighty move of God we have.

    I pray this prayer almost every service, “LORD let Your Glory fill this house.”

  25. The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the Lord . Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the Lord with these words: “He is good! The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.
    2 Chronicles 5:13‭-‬14 NLT

    This remind me of yesterday when the glory of the Lord touch the pofw
    Praise god just because not because he did something for us but because who he is

  26. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    I want to be in his presences and give praise so much, that God sends a glory cloud to be among us. To show that he is moved by our worship!

  27. 11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:

    12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)

    Searching for God with intensity

    When there is an intensity of worship and praise I guarantee that it gets God’s attention! In other words when the bride speaks God listens. The power of a united praise and worship allows God to open the flood gates of heaven to many possibilities! From lost souls being saved, the blind being able to see, the dead being able to hear, chains of addiction being broken! We must strive together for that type of unity within our praise! The moment we become in one accord like it was in the day of Pentecost ….. the REVIVAL will be like NO OTHER! In Jesus Name! #GetReady

  28. v13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music ,and praised the LORD, saying:
    ” F or HE is good,
    For HIS mercy endures
    forever,”
    that the house the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,
    so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.

    God loves the unity of HIS people.
    When we worship and magnify God, HIS glory and presence empower the atmosphere.

  29. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

  30. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    In my humblest opinion, the POFW singers have reached this pinnacle. It is our duty to maintain the this level of praise. We must unify. I believe we have a leader who is dedicated to keep us on track to keep this level of praise and worship. Then when our Pastor gives us the Word from God our hearts are ready to receive. He does not have spend time tearing down walls and strongholds. We, the praise team have already accomplished this duty.

  31. 2 Chronicles 5
    13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    1 Kings 8
    10 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord,
    11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.
    12 Then spake Solomon, The Lord said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
    13 I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

    1 Corinthians 3
    16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

    When we learn to love God like he says in his word “………with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind……..” we too can experience the glory of God being filled with the presence of God.

    This past Sunday, Los Pentecostales de Fort Worth, had a similar experience. The praises of the people had ushered in the glory of God, the I could not stand to minister because of the presence of God. We are living in prophetic times when the prophet Joel spoke that God would pour out his spirit upon all flesh.
    Grab ahold of the promise of God.

  32. The harmony that was shown in this chapter is what is looking for in all of his people. We must not allow sin to get us out of tune with God. We must walk in the same spirit as our forefathers before us walked. Don’t allow the enemy to take your eye off of what God has setup before us.

  33. indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord , and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord , saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord , was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
    2Ch 5:13‭-‬14 NKJV

    It matters to God how unified we are. If we want to know what kind or how unified we should be so his presence will overwhelm us here is a great illustration. The same tune, the same key, the same pitch.

  34. “The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the LORD filled the Temple of God.”
    ‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    We must be willing to let God take over and to not try and control everything ourselves. Lord reveal your glorious presence to us!!

  35. 11 Then the priests left the Holy Place. All the priests who were present had purified themselves, whether or not they were on duty that day.

    Whether your on duty at church or at work, we should always be the example for others to see. Let others see Jesus in you!

  36. iLove to Grow in the Word
    2 Chronicles 5:6 NLT There, before the Ark, King Solomon and the entire community of Israel sacrificed so many sheep, goats, and cattle that no one could keep count!

    The Lord gave me a revelation a couple months ago concerning the temple. Notice in this verse it says King Solomon and the entire community sacrificed…

    Wow, what a revelation of the true design of the Temple. In today’s society the world has the temple concept totally turned around. This should not surprize us because the enemy has come to kill, steal, and destroy. The fact of the matter is, the world thinks the church owes them something. Can’t pay your bills…the church will pay them for you…why, because it’s their job. Need shelter from a hail storm? The Church is right there, they will protect your car and also pay your deductible to get out the few dents that the act of God put there.

    But the truth of the matter is that the Temple was not designed to take “from”, but it was designed “to” bring to. Once again the whole community brought their sacrifices to the temple.

    We need New Testament Brother Morgan…OK

    Luke 21:1-4 NLT While Jesus was in the Temple, He watched the rich people dropping their gifts in the collection box. (2) Then a poor widow came by and dropped in two small coins. (3) “I tell you the truth,” Jesus said, “this poor widow has given more than all the rest of them. (4) For they have given a tiny part of their surplus, but she, poor as she is, has given everything she has.”

    Boom.

    Jesus allowed the widow to give more than all the other folks. Jesus did not rebuke the leadership for taking the poor ladies money. Jesus said she gave more than everyone else. The widow did not come to the temple to get a hand out, but she came to the temple to give. The 21st Century could learn a lot from this widow whose example will never die.

  37. “It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord”. The word of God (Judge) records when he (Jesus) was praised. One must be mindful for praise directed anywhere else will not fill the house with God’s glory. Dear God, let our focus and praise be on you. God Bless America, Israel, Jerusalem, and you all in Jesus name, Amen!

  38. “There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.” The power was not in the items or even the ark itself. The Lord was the source then and is still the source today; therefore the Lord should be worshiped, and never an idol or manmade object. God help us see that you are the source and where our focus must be, in Jesus name.

  39. When the work was finished they sacrificed and praised the Lord. The work had to come first. If we want to see the glory of God come down like this we have to start with work. God blesses hard work, and even more so from a praiser. We need to do two things in the church, become workers in the kingdom and reach more workers for the kingdom.

  40. 2 Chronicles 5:14 (NLT)
    14 The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.

    When things were done right and the people were in unity together there was something that happened. The spirit of the Lord filled the temple like a thick cloud. It was overwhelming.

    I pray we get to the place where our prayers, offerings, and sacrifice cause God to manifest his presence so much we can’t see or even move.

  41. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    This reminds me of Saturday night prayer, after Bishop turned off the music, just prior to that I felt nudge to take my headphones off and pray with someone, and when I thought about putting them back on, the same feeling nudged me again to keep them off so i did, Immediately as soon as the music turned off, there was a shift in the spiritual realm we could feel and that brought us into battle. we transformed from quiet reserve and individual prayers to a collective agreed change to a war cry.

    When the people gathers together to make the tower of Babel, even God himself said that no one could stop them bc they were of one mind and one voice. Now if we have that determination, plus the power of God working with us, and staying under our Bishop…there is nothing, truly nothing that stands a chance against us.

    Satans attack is always within- doubt, fear, jealousy…etc it all entails disunity. While I dont agree with blaming him for everything, we must not be ignorant of his devises and that is most definitely a tool. aside from that, we have to learn about our inner battle that causes us to not be in unity. I once heard a man say that if we can defeat the enemy within, the enemy without cannot touch us.

  42. 2 Chronicles 5:13 It came to pass even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    Jeremiah 33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord.

    Unity will bring the shekinah glory, when praise singers, musicians and congregation all singing the same song in one accord

  43. 1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.

    When we complete a task of ministry like Solomon does their is no need to stop there. Instead it’s time to dedicate it to the Lord because he blesses the work. This temple in particular was to be the dwelling place for the Lord and to worship him. His glory filled the temple so much that the ministers couldn’t even minister in their duties.

  44. 14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    The Spirit of God was so strong that the ministers were so filled up that they could not function in ministry but let Him have his way. The cloud was the presence of God confirming the dedication of the temple. It is like us getting baptized and God filling us with his Holy Ghost, we have accepted him and now he is showing that he is excepting us.

  45. 4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.

    5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.This reminds me when David got scared when the Ark was moved the wrong way.

    I was reminded of the incident when the Ark was placed on top of a cart to move it to another place and God got angry and killed the man whose hand accidentally hit it. Then David had gotten scared because he Realized he had not followed rules set by God. So instead of moving it he decided to leave it in a trustworthy place.

    So happens that David’s son Solomon got the Levites to move the Ark the right way and takes it to the new temple. God has sacred stones

  46. 13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;

    14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

    It wasn’t until the musicians were one that God came down to His house with His presence.

  47. The glory of God filled the temple. This is precisely what happened in the incarnation. The glory of God filled a human being. That man was Jesus. Jesus is the NT shekinah glory of Yahweh. That same Spirit lives in us. We are the temple of God. May his glory shine through us.

  48. It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord ; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord , saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord ;
    2 Chronicles 5:13 KJV

    In order for God to show up, there must be unity in praise, worship and song. Only then we will begin to experience true church. Other than that it’s just a group of people making noise. We must be in one accord and one mind.
