  1. The voice of the Lord is powerful. Follow the voice of Jesus Christ he will lead you to greatness. And will bring you peace . Remember if God is with who can be against you. Trust his voice and obey it

  2. GOD makes his people strong. GOD gives his people peace. (‭Psalm‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ MSG)
To know that in all things I can have peace, in my home, At work, but most importantly within myself💙

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ KJV)

  3. In reading this chapter this morning, it reminded me of the song “Heaven on Earth” and the bridge portion that says:

    Something’s moving! Something’s changing!
See His glory! Feels like Heaven on Earth!
Lightning and thunder! Miracles and wonders!
The sound of many waters! Heaven on Earth!

No matter what storm you may be facing or situation that you are in, remember verse 11 CEV “Pray that our Lord will make us strong and give us peace.” For the Lord is in control as verse 10 MSG says “Above the floodwaters is God’s throne from which his power flows, from which he rules the world.”

  4. 4. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

In creation, He spoke the world into being.

In the boat with the disciples, He spoke calm to the wind and waves.

What would He speak into our lives today, if we would allow Him to?

  5. 11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

When we allow God to operate in our lives, when we truly open up to Him and the wonder He has for us it is then that we are strengthened in Him and the Peace and love of God can flow through us.

  6. The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

La grandeza de Dios nos libra de los peligros y nos dasu gloriosa paz desde el trono de su gloria es el. Rey de Reyes su voz es com trueno que hace temblar toda su creacion Aleluya toda la honra y gloria sea dada a el aleluya

  7. I Love To Praise The Lord
    Gods Power Unveiled In Nature
    Vs 1-11
A thunderstorm towers majestically above the Promised Land arousing David’s praise and sparking the realization that it’s The Lord who is enthronedry in nature. Surely so great a God is able to strengthen and bless His people.
Vs-1. Praise The Lord you angels of his praise and glory and his strength.
Praise him for his majestic glory and the of his name come before him clothed in scared garments.
I Love To Praise The Lord!!!!!!!!!!

  8. How the name of the Lord can do what human can and can’t do.Shows the world from a profits of the Lord

  9. Psalms 29:2, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.”

God, you are so good! I give you Glory and I Worship You!

  10. 11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

This verse remind me of what Pastor preach Sunday morning about peace Jesus give us peace all you have to do is speak in THE NAME
Of JESUS you can have peace you just got want like pastor said on Sunday morning if you have JESUS on board Then we should have peace

  11. 1-2 Bravo, God, bravo! Gods and all angels shout, “Encore!” In awe before the glory, in awe before God’s visible power. Stand at attention! Dress your best to honor him!

What a mighty God we serve! God your so worthy of all the praise! I pray that everyday I’ll awake and praise your name with my whole heart and your creations around me will remind me that there is no one as great as my God because you created the Heavens and the earth! God your so powerful that you shake the heavens and the earth and leave them in awestruck! God I’m ready to see your encore, I want to see your power shine through this dark world and show every person on this earth who has all the power!

  12. 11 The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.
Thankful for a God that I can run to when I can’t handle life itself, God is my strength and peacemaker.
For some reason, reading this verse reminded me of the song Peace in the Valley:
Oh well, I’m tired and so weary
    But I must go alone
Till the lord comes and calls, calls me away, oh yes
    Well the morning’s so bright
    And the lamp is alight
And the night, night is as black as the sea, oh yes

There will be peace in the valley for me, some day
There will be peace in the valley for me, oh Lord I pray
There’ll be no sadness, no sorrow
    No trouble, trouble I see
There will be peace in the valley for me, for me
So today if you are in need peace go to the Lord he is your peacemaker!

  13. 1 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Give and it shall be given. We are ingrained as humans to give, this isn’t as much of a commandment as it is direction on what and who to give to. the very demonstration of reaping and sowing is shown in here. We give God glory and he strengthens and empowers us with something we all search for and need, peace. Glory to God in the Highest.

  14. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters

There is beauty in serving God and in holiness unto the Lord. One way we worship Him is by living a holy and seperated life unto Him. By separating ourselves from the carnal things of this world, by denying ourselves and following Him. We prove to God that He is the most important thing in our lives and that we love Him more than anything.

  15. This chapter has shown me that the voice of the Lord is all mighty and is capable of doing the impossible he will be with me everyday of my life and he will not leave my side.

  16. iLove to Go Blog
Psalms 29:11 NLT The LORD gives His people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace.

In this world full of chaos, it is good to serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the Prince of Peace and gives His children peace of mind in a world of uncertainty. Thank You Lord for strength and safety in the midst of the storm.

The Hebrew word for peace used in this verse is “shâlôm”
From H7999; safe, that is, (figuratively) well, happy, friendly; also (abstractly) welfare, that is, health, prosperity, peace: –    X do, familiar, X fare, favour, + friend, X greet, (good) health, (X perfect, such as be at) peace (-able, -ably), prosper (-ity, -ous), rest, safe (-ly), salute, welfare, (X all is, be) well, X wholly.

This word “shalom” is still used today as a greeting by the Hebrew people.

  17. The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with PEACE. Psalms 29: 11

  18. The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

what this chapter means is as long as we bless the lord he will give us strength and peace where ever we go.( Bless the lord all my soul) GO with JESUS Amen

  19. 7 The voice of the Lord strikes
    with flashes of lightning.
    8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;

There has been moments in my life where God tells me to do something beyond what I think is possible and fought with Him in not wanting to do it because of “X reason.” These verses reminded me of how He spoke to me. He shook me, slapped me, and just flashed his voice at me like lighting. His voice is so powerful that it broke me and all I had to do was obey. I had to listen to Him and completely let trust in Him. Overall, my body is not mine but His!!! We must let Him speak to us to do His kingdom!!!

    1 Cor 6:19-2019
“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

  20. GO WITH THE VOICE OF THE LORD

2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

To Give unto the LORD the glory due his name. It is important for us to understand the value and power of HIS name JESUS. The psalmist shares eternally with us in the majesty of the VOICE of the LORD.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

The VOICE of the LORD is powerful in demonstration of HIS glory and authority. Finally, understanding the power of GOD is a life long opportunity. In our lifetime seasons of PEACE are imperative to our enduring the hardness of this world as we hope and long for our eternal home. GO WITH THE VOICE OF THE LORD has eternal benefits.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

The VOICE of the LORD leads to PEACE and PEACE leads to VICTORY.

Romans 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

GO WITH THE VOICE OF THE LORD and find yourself relishing the PEACE of GOD.

  21. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Recently learned the true meaning of this verse and it’s so awesome! So Lord, I will submit to You, Jehovah, in the external adornment of separation! You are the one that I adore, the one that I worship. Thank You Jesus for strength and peace today.

  22. 9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

Immediately my mind went to the birthing of new babies in the church.
His voice is powerful, His word is powerful! I believe POFW is a birthing station it has been proven in just the first few months of this year. We will continue to proclaim of His Glory in the streets and in the temple.

  23. Psalms 29:9 (KJV Strong’s)
9 The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve,
and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

It seems common sense and simplistic that everyone speak of his glory in his temple. After all he deserves the utmost respect and reverence.

Yet sometimes we forget to. Why? Because sometimes we forget who he is. We forget that his voice can split the cedars, divides the flames, and shakes the wilderness.

This is why the Lord’s pattern of prayer begins with the words “Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name”

He is almighty, all-powerful, and all-seeing. He knows all, and there is nothing to big for him to handle. When we keep the right perspective of God we will speak of his glory in the temple and not be given to complaints, or negativity.

  24. The voice of the lord is so powerful. He spoke the world into existence. He still chooses to speak to his people. Don’t dismiss the voice of God!

  25. 11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

My thought goes to an old song. Peace peace such wonderful peace. Coming down from the father above. Sweep over my spirit, forever I pray… peace be unto us all.

  26. 4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

The same voice that separated heaven and the earth, that speaks miracles, that calmed a raging storm, is the same voice that brought us into being and now is willing to speak into us, new life! How majestic is Your voice!

  27. In Psalm 29:2 tells us to Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Which brings up two questions. First how does a person give glory to the one who made the universe, who has more glory and honor then one could ever reach or fully see. David answers this in verse two where he tells us to Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
This is how we bring glory to God, by living a holy, separated life and worshiping and by praising his name in the beauty of holiness.
One might ask why you would want to do so, David’s answer before the cross was that that word of the lord is powerful, he gives just a few examples of its power in Psalms 29:3-9. Then David stated that, the Lord sitteth King for ever. He acknowledging that there is a king of kings and a lord of lords who was above even the highest law of the land. What does this King give unto his people? The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Which is more than enough reasons to praise his holy name.

  28. 11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

Most of us realize that our own strength is not always enough to get through some of the situations that this life brings. At those difficult times, it is wise to call on God for extra strength and for His strength to help sustain us when own strength fails. Don’t ever be ashamed at feeling weak. Remember what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 12:10 “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

  29. 2: Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 5: The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Whenever I look up into the night sky and see the breath taking beauty of the stars which the Lord created, I am reminded of the last phrase of Genesis 1:16..”he made the stars also”. God’s is so powerful that just by him alone everything was made and the beauty of the vast and spectacular night sky was nothing for him. How can I worry about the trials and storms in my life. If I put myself aside and give God the glory in everything, he will give me a calm and peace that the world cannot emulate. He has everything under control and always works things out much better than I could ever imagine!

    • Hannah: “11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” Always will the Lord our God be there for his people! When we are weak and when we are poor he will be the one to give us strength. No one else in this world can give us the strength like the Lord our God gives us. He will bless each and every one of us with peace. Even when nothing in this world is peaceful and we feel like there are rocks piled on us, he will always be there for us. In Isaiah 62:10 : “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.” The Lord has covered each of his people with garments of salvation! He will protect his people and keep us from harm if we obey his word that he has given us. He will give us strength to go through the trials and tribulations of this world, to make us stronger, and more perfect in him. Each trial prepares you for the next one afterwards, so you can be closer to him and not be attached to the things of this world. I will always thank him for the peace, strength, salvation, and righteousness that he gives us to be able to go through each day, and to be a light to the lost of this world.

  30. 1 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

GO and glorify the Lord for He is worthy to be PRAISE.
GO and exalt His name for ever.
GO, GO, GO INTO HIS PRECENSE WITH THANKS GIVING!!!

  31. 3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

These scriptures tell me that nothing can compare to our God. Jesus taught the parable of the good shepherd in John 10 and says sheep know the voice of their particular shepherd and won’t follow the voice of another, then says in verse 11-14 that he is the good shepherd and knows his sheep and is known of his. His voice is his word we read, his word that is preached or his word he speaks directly to us. The more we hear his voice, the less likely we will be deceived by the voices of distraction and the voices of this world. I give you glory and honor!

  32. 3 The voice of the LORD echoes above the sea. The God of glory thunders.
The LORD thunders over the mighty sea.

What a mighty sound when thunder starts to roll into the city. We pay attention and listen for thunder, cause it catches our attention. The voice of the Lord should catch our attention also. We should pray, pay attention and listen for his voice.

  33. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

We worship God not just by lifting our hands, singing, and dancing, but by also by the way we live.

  34. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might… oh let me give glory to God with all my strength. Give unto the Lord the glory that is due his name… his very name declares the reason before we even have a relationship with him. And when we do, can our worship take on the beauty of holiness in the fullness of our strength. A post from yesterday mentioned the victory of Jehosaphat.. the first time this common phrase is mentioned, and it was given before the battle was ever begun in a situation where the world would say there was not a lot of hope. They gave their strength in worship and the Lord gave his strength in battle.. they had the opportunity to stand and see the salvation of the Lord that day. I pray I have the faith to do the same in this day.

Powerful reminders in this Psalm of what God can do with merely the power of his voice and yet, when he speaks to our heart, he gives us the liberty to choose whether to respond. Reminds me of the analogy of praise in heaven as the sound of many waters.. he’s speaking to all peoples and tongues and an entire flood of them are choosing to respond. I want to remain in that flood, to hear his voice and respond as a willing servant of the king. I recognize that to receive his strength, I need to be willing to serve him with all of mine, and the peace I receive in return is more precious than any of the foolishness in this world.

  35. 10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

  36. The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.(Psalms 29:11 KJV)

We all realize as children of God that we don’t have the strength to carry ourselves through everyday life but we know that God is our guardian with ( The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;(Deuteronomy 1:30 KJV)Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.(John 14:27 KJV)

  37. Josiah: 8 “The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.”
This verse really stuck out to me because it says how the lord spoke and the very land of Kadesh-Barnea shook. The land in which the physical giants of that time settled in. The land that the spies said ”surely it floweth with milk and honey”. The land that two spies had to share the burden to carry a cluster of grapes and the Lord just has to speak to tremble the land of Kadesh. Yet in all His greatness and Power the Lord said that strength would be given to his people and peace to go with it. This chapter stuck out because it goes to show how your stature does not make you stronger and better but it is the Lord that giveth true strength and you only need faith to have it.

  38. 11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.

God is merciful he gives us many opportunities to seek him. Peace and unity I pray will fall on all people who seek and trust him. His love endureth forever.

  39. 7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire.

8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

It says in the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. He SPOKE them into existance. His voice not only shakes the wilderness but it also is what created the entire universe. His voice is more powerful than we can ever imagine.

  40. The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
    Psalms 29:4 NKJV

His voice speaks worlds into existence. His voice stops storms and calms winds. With His voice anything in our lives can be overcome, so we must strive to hear and have His voice in our hearts.

  41. The Lord…….

The whole chapter was The Lord….commanded loud and clear. Could we do anything without him? Just the more thought of an existence without him would make everything thing that is seize to exist.

The Lord…… this could be the best way you could start every prayer. By exalting him and his goodness and greatness.

  42. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Our holiness is worship unto God. It matters how we present ourselves and live our lives. Living a separate or holy life gives him worship.

  43. salm 29

29 Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

God’s voice alone is so powerful! God there isn’t nothing you can’t do! I believe and I receive that you are going to do so many wondrorous works.

  44. The Lord’s voice is powerful enough to split cedars, and we are to know his voice and follow our Shepherd! Jesus said we’re to know his voice, and follow him. We have to follow his leading, and be an example of him. God will bless his people with strength and peace! (God’s Will) God is of peace not of confusion!

    “Listen…..Me too!”……………..

  45. This chapter starts with a command: give glory to the Lord
It ends with a promise: he will bless the people with peace.

All the promised things of God are also contingent upon the response of his people. The Lord blessed the obedient. Just as we bless our children. Actually our children have not done anything spectacular but we bless them for just doing what they are told. They get an allowance for doing their chores etc. all we have to do is simple, just obey and he will bless!

  46. Verse 7, “The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire” reminds me of the three Hebrew boys in Daniel chap. 3; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. When those three boys were thrown into the fiery furnace, God was right there with them. It is encouraging to remember that when you stand for God and His truth, no matter what this world may say or want you to do, that He will be right there to protect you and help you through whatever it is that the devil may be trying to throw at you. As God kept the flames of fire from harming the Hebrew boys, God can do the same for us, with what we go through today! This entire chapter is a continual reminder that nothing is to great or to small for God to impact; He is literally everywhere! I just have to keep trusting in Him and let Him take me where He wants me to be!

  47. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

I just cant think of anything to say! Because these verses say it all! The voice of the Lord should be the normal for every saint! I love you Lord!

  48. 3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

The voice of the Lord is everywhere: but do I hear Him. There are times at which I’ve wondered if I truly hear the voice of God or is it me wanting to hear him so bad that my mind tricks me. I know that I have heard His voice before. Am I so wrapped up that I can’t have a conversation with the everlasting Father. This is where faith comes in for me. I know that to hear God’s voice I have to talk to Him. I have to slow down and listen when I pray. It is a two way conversation and I have to remember that. Thank you Jesus.

  49. David mentions “the voice of the Lord” 7 times in this chapter revealing the completion of God’s great name and power in not just his words but his voice. God spoke creation into existence. All his people cry “Glory” because although he shows his power and might they are to comfort us that he is our strength. His protection blesses us with peace.

  50. 10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King for ever.

He is the king of kings. He is forver the master. No man can compare to him.

  51. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Holiness – separated wholly mind, body and spirit. We cannot be completely holy if we are not separated unto God in these three areas. It takes all three. We must be in holy physically, spiritually and emotionally. This will bring about a true worship unto the Lord.

  52. 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

ALL GLORY, HONOR AND POWER ARE HIS!!! ONLY YOU ARE WORTHY OOOOO LORD!!! JESUS YOU ARE SOOOOO WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!!!
