1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
5 Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O Lord, thou preservest man and beast.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

Verses 5-9 MSG “God’s love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, his verdicts oceanic. Yet in his largeness nothing gets lost; Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks. How awesome is our God??? Words are not big enough to describe his greatness. 1 John 1:5 MSG is captioned and says “Walk in the Light” This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there’s not a trace of darkness in him. Same verse in the AMP “God is Light” This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection]. Follow your Leader into the light with your commitment as we heard last night.

How can so many artists take verses written so long ago, add a melody line, and have a hit song today?
Because satan is a Liar; God’s Word IS still relevant today, and will stand forever!

Gods mercy and faithfulness are interchangeable. Both are amazing and both endureth forever. Gods righteousness and judgment is also interchangeable because all of his judgments are righteous. Our God is an awesome God!
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

It is important that we never be decieved with what we are doing for God, that we never count on our own righteousness. Although it it our choice to submit and follow after Gods righteousness , it is only by his grace that we can follow him at all, and through his guidance will we even know how to follow. We must never think we have any righteous part in us, lest we become prideful and fall.
Sin whispers to the wicked, deep within their hearts. They have no fear of God at all. For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see. Pour out your unfailing love on those who love you; give justice to those with honest hearts.
Psalms 36:1, 9-10 NLT
Those who do wicked. Has no fear of GOD because if they did they would not do the things they do
But thank God for his mercy that people like that can repent and turn from those old way
Where would we be without his mercy

What this verse means is we need to be faithful to everyone we meet ad have mercy Go be Faithful in Jesus name Amen

God’s faithfulness is awesome. He has never failed me,yet I have failed him so many times. He is so great and wonderful.

Everything they say is crooked and deceitful. They refuse to act wisely or do good. They lie awake at night, hatching sinful plots. Their actions are never good. They make no attempt to turn from evil.”

What a sad picture of the wickness of man but within this passage there are a few things that we could glean from. In this passage we see that every member of their body was involved.
-Ears and Heart- Sin Whispers/deep within their heart. What we listen to goes straight to the heart. Don’t listen to trash music or talk. Protect your ears and heart
-Eyes- blind conceit. Protect your eyes and ask God to give you clarity.
-Mouth- everything they say is crooked and deceitful. I hear the words of the preached word “there is no such thing as a white lies” Protect you mouth and speak life.
-Hands and feet- they refuse to act wisely would do good. Protect your hands and feet by being the body of Christ. Act righteous and holy.
-Mind- Lie awake at night, hatching sinful plots. Protect your mind by mediating on the Word. Our minds must be transformed.
Serving the Lord requires total commitment. We must love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind. We must be totally submitted and committed to Him. There is no time for a part-time Christian. It is all or nothing. We’re going UP! We’re going over! We’re going to cross the finishline! I Am Mighty!

He setters himself in a way.
Being wicked is a choice much like being good.
Yes we are born into this world and sin, but at some point each person is given an opportunity for a choice.
Each day we are faced with the choice to do good or evil.

As we walk with God and stay fully committed to Him, he will begin to use us in ways we never imagined, but we must remember it is only by His mercy and excellence that we are used by Him. We must remain humble and not puffed up to remain in His grace. Lord it’s not because of who I am but because of what You’ve done and not because of what I’ve done but because of who You are!!

…in thy light shall we see light
What is the light and how can we see more light by being in the light? Most obvious, God is in the light and we should strive to walk in the light. Walking in the light means always being open to exposure, there is nothing which cannot be touched by light. There is a law about light, it comes in wherever there is a crack; if you let it, it will come in. But the point is that we must be in the light, and walking in the light is one of the most precious things in the world.
I strive to really live in the light of God. There is such a walk with God, such a knowledge of God, that the slightest spot of darkness will be brought into light immediately. God wants to bring us into the reality of an actual relationship with Him and constantly growing understanding of His will. Sometimes, we mistake our own feelings to be the will of God. To some it seems as if the Word of God is hazy, is something which we do not understand, it is beyond us. Then, there are those that have seen the light of God and it appears they know what they are doing. They know that the will of God for their lives.
We can all have this clarity. We can all have this certainty in our lives. We should strive to live in the light, not living in uncertainty. We must be honest with ourselves when conversing with God. We do not understand His ways. In truth, we do not understand our ways. We want to do good but evil is always present? Why do anger so easily? Why does jealousy rage so quickly? The Lord knows us better than we know ourselves. Thus, when we pray, pray that God will shed light on areas or our lives that need work.
7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
Unfailing love
We serve a faithful God that faithfully extends His love towards us every second of every minute.
Lamentations 3:21-23
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
We all have seasons of suffering and seasons of great joy but we know that Gods love for us will not change. Suffering does not mean He does not love us. For His love extends further than our minds could ever imagine. Even though our feelings may change His love for us remains faithful and it should be our desire to follow His example.
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Your kindness supersedes all the world , I will continually trust in You. I will proclaim your goodness and your faithfulness.
Psalms 36:5-6 (NLT)
5) Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
6) Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice is like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals, O LORD.

I think David described these attributes (love, faithfulness, rigteouness, and justice) of God wonderfully.

This is a perfect example of the person who has not been “born again.” Notice the Word says, “Sin whispers to the wicked ‘deep within’ their hearts.” This is a person who is spiritually possessed by the enemy. You see, when we receive the Holy Ghost, it is the Spirit of God that speaks to our hearts. The enemy can still speak to our mind, but if we are filled with the Holy Ghost our heart is protected.
John 13:27 NLT When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.”
So, those who have not received the Holy Ghost are blind to how wicked they really are. We must pray that the Light of the Gospel will shine through the darkness and enter into the heart.

WOW! God, You are so amazing and there is none even comparable to the greatness of who You are. What do we have to fear when His love is as vast as the heavens, His faithfulness beyond the clouds, His righteousness like mighty mountains, His justice like the ocean depths! When I have a God so grand and terrible as this, I rejoice knowing that He is my God, I rejoice because as great as He is, He still cares for me. He shares that vast love, faithfulness, righteousness, and justice with us because He cares for us – how great is my God!
GO SIN NO MORE

Sin begins in the heart. The mind imagines and the heart determines. The fact is recorded in Proverbs 4.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
The heart is extremely important, because the heart inspires and motivates us to GO and act on what is in it. This is why the condition of our heart is so important to Spiritual health and growth. The WORD of GOD gives clear direction as to how the heart should be prepared.
1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
Many people make the attempt to interpret this verse to mean that GOD does not care how we dress or adorn ourselves. However the major revelation in this verse is the fact of GOD looks on the heart.
He can detect sin before it ever is executed. We are wise to be FILLED with the Holy Ghost and surrender ourselves to HIS will and not ours. Self examination and heart search are imperative to a progressive growth in GOD.
Search me LORD, know my thoughts and examine my heart.

God’s love for us is like no other. There is nothing to compare to it. If we consider how much we love our earthly children, and there is nothing we would not do to see them baptized in Jesus Name, filled with the precious gift of Holy Ghost and living for the Lord, how much the more, Jesus Christ loves us and wants to see us living victoriously everyday. We are mighty!

Everything precept and doctrine, and belief should have a scripture backing. Especially if it is said over the pulpit.
It’s funny how many secular preachers have plenty of nifty and relevant quotes they preach, and not enough “For it is Written!” As the church of the living God, our messages should not just be eloquent, relevant but scriptural, prayed for, anointed, and congruent to the Word of God.
Abundantly Satisfied!

We should be praying for God’s lovingkindness on the new babes of the church. That they will see the tokens of His favor in their lives. That the workings of His Grace will be revealed to them.

The Living Bible Paraphrased
Vs 1-2
Sin lurks deep in the hearts of the wicked forever urging them on to evil deeds they have no fear of God to hold them back. Instead in their conceit they think they can hide there evil deeds and not get caught.
David reminds us that those with no sense of responsibility to God for their actions or fear of punishment cease to be wise and to do good.
Gods Protective Love
Increasing brutal crimes in our society remind us how we need to experience Gods protective love.

The streets and the Fort Worth area is getting crazy and very dangerous now. Years back I was and out-law drug addict you name and i was into it so I very much was street smart but had run ins with the law many times. So speaking from experience I know or police officer has a very!!!!!! Dangerous job. We as a body need to start praying for Gods Protective Love and a hedge of protection over our Police Officer.
For myself I am going to pray this every day
I truly believe if many of spray this ever day God will protect him when danger is heading his way

David is saying in this verse that men in the world don’t know that the words that come out of there mouth’s are wicked and misleading to others around them and hinder and affect them. We have the Holy Ghost to help us know what is good and wrong to say because out of the heart the mouth speaks and if God fills our heart.
O never let my heart deceive itself in iniquity and lose its respect for God. Even when I try my hardest, the best I can do is as filthy rags before God’s righteousness.. while his ‘righteousness is like the great mountains’. A reminder that the work which goes forth from his mountain is based on the righteousness of one whose purity stands like a great monument for all the world to see… and he imparts that righteousness to us! Selah!
When we truly consider this, how can we not join the psalmist? ‘How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.’ O let that be our desire, that we truly learn to be satisfied with the provision we receive under the covering of his wings… that those things in our life which are pleasing to our soul are the same as those which are pleasing unto God. That we remember the source of our fountain of life and truly learn to see and appreciate the light he’s provide for our soul!

Sin will always begin to blind you and numb your spirit. Not all at one time but little by little by little to the point that you feel nothing when you are doing and it begins to feel natural to live in sin. Which is why we must always be vigilant not to fall into temptation or underestimate sin or even think that we can control it because it will end up controlling us. The great thing is that there is still hope in God and his love endures forever and there is still time to repent. He is faithful to His word and I still believe that all the prodigals will come back. We just have to be ready to receive them.

Wow, what a way to put it. How true, sin creeps in slowly, gently and quietly whispers into your mind “do the unrighteous thing”. You wont even know, that sin has come into your life. You’ll treat is as normal everyday circumstances. But with continued prayer, worship and praise, you’ll be able to keep sin away!
Josiah: 8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
They shall be abundantly satisfied. God is not a employer that might award good work. God is a God that SHALL! His people”SHALL be abundantly satisfied”. Not only will he make his people satisfied he shall make them ABUNDANTLY satisfied. “12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen… and shall not be able to rise” “9 For with thee is the fountain of life” The choice is simple and I pray I can show others the goodness of God to the best of my ability and nothing less.

Those who have to make themselves sound good and look good aren’t usually living righteously. It’s a distraction of deceit for us to focus on the sheep’s clothing and not detect the wolf. The truth is this person David is describing is not wise in his attempt to cover himself up for his folly is found in his rotten fruit. This is why it’s important to examine ourselves that we aren’t falling into this sin our being deceived by those who are. God gives us the ability to discern by his Spirit and he will lead and guide us.
The first thing that David says is that, The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. I just want to keep the fear of God within my heart with the love of God. Because if I have the fear of God within my heart evil and wickedness will not come in as it has no place to come in. A parallel is Matthew 12:43-45 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. So if my heart is full of Jesus and not empty, he shall keep me and evil shall no place in my heart. And His word will be a lamp to my feet and a light unto my path all the days of my life.
I am entreated with the Lord and His blessings in my life. I am changing my ways to live His calling in my life. I wish to spread joy and happiness from within. I want to be wise like David and understand why the Lord has placed me here and to follow Him and find excellence in all I do.
My hope is in God and I shall be what he wants to be. We can not get caught in the fleshy desires of this world. We must keep our focus on God and allow him to direct our paths. Greater is he that is within us than he that is in the world.
This Psalm reminds me of the children of Israel through the passage of time in I and II Kings. Their progress as a nation is a constant up and down and flipping of serving God and not serving God. This passage starts off speaking of the wicked and many times this was an accurate portrayal of the nation of Israel. Yet, when they turned their lives around and started to serve God again, He forgave them and extended His mercy. When they began to glorify Him and turn from their wicked ways, God showed them (as this Psalm says) His loving kindness, mercy, faithfulness, and righteousness. My prayer is verse 11, “Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me”. It is my desire to always serve God and to always appreciate all He does for me. To never forget His hand of mercy and love that He extends for not just me, but for everyone that desires to serve Him!

When I think of all the mercy and loving kindness that the Lord Jesus bestows upon his children;I am humbled by the realization that he continually chooses to give me mercy every day which I do not deserve. I pray that I never forget nor take for granted all that he has done in my life,those of my family , friends and the church. When I stay truly humble unto God and emanate that humbleness in my life; then a dangerous snare to my soul,pride does not have the ability to step into my life.

9 For you are the fountain of life,
the light by which we see.
When I feel dry, and thirsty you are the fountain.
When I’m in darkness you are the light that shines the hope in my life.
Like was said tonight. God is a personal God. We walks with us through our life situation and circumstances. He is truly the one we can run to and he will be there in time of need.
Too much thought and not enough prayer

When situations arise in our lives sometimes the worst thing we can do is try to sort it out or think our way through it. Before we try to devise a plan let us first pray. God is wise and all knowing. He can handle it better than we can. In no way am I saying we shouldn’t think things through and make thought out decisions but I am saying let God have the first word.
11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. I will not be moved i give God all the glory for what hes done for me, how hes changed me, how hes lifted me up. uP. UP! I will not be moved for he is my ROCK that helps me GrOw that helps me GO. I use to find myself puzzled after a day like today but now i know theres something greater planned from my God. Im excited to see whats next. Thank You Jesus!

God loves us so much and He is for us and not against us. We should be witnesses to our neighbors co-workers and family of what great love God has for us.

Thank you Lord for your mercy!!! Without your mercy I wouldn’t be here right now. I am thankful to God for repentance and His unfailing love!!! Being a parent gives me a small view of how much you love us! Just as we want the best for our children, discipline them, love them, feed them, give them what they need….you are more than what we do for our own children. Thank you Lord for dying for me!!

He says it in his own hear. He doesn’t even need to say it. A fool says in his heart there is no God.

Evil likes company, God is in control allow him to shine through you.

Pride goes before destruction as Proverbs says. We must recognize it & root it out when we see it rear it’s ugly head in our lives.

8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

10 O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

Oh Lord How Excellent is your name! So to be transparent, Yesterday was a good day, but I allowed the enemy to creep in, because by the time I got home from church, whataburger, I was frustrated about my circumstances, God knows what is happening, but I was feeling all sorts of ways, why because If im gonna trust in God and fully know that he is who he says he is, I have to pray, read, fast, those are three foundations ( probably wrong word ) I have been praying, every morning, doing the blog, and pray at night, read the proverb of the day, and the a chapter in acts, everyday, but ive slacked up, haven’t read anything but the blog in the last week and then only praying in the morning, and then I missed the blog last night! I have to keep my mind stayed on Jesus, no matter what the storms, examine my daily walk because lack of prayer and no word, no good at all! I can change that if I just fast! and submit ad like bishop said to be committed, if i dont commit to little things then I cant be trusted to be committed to bigger things! Pray for me that I can be committed everyday and every minute to my God!

Yesterday I got to experience again the lovingkindness in my family grief, He sure show us God’s love was among the people who were there for us through the preachings I saw God’s faithfulness and love for our family. We trust in you oh Lord!!!

We don’t need to fear evil people because God judges evil, and if we know someone with evil in their hearts then we need to show them Jesus because God loves them no matter what and they need to know that!
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
In stories and old legends back when America was first being discovered, they were tales about the “fountain of youth”, something that could make a person eternally young. But God gives something even better than this. He can give us the gift of spiritual life eternal. Through him we can live forever. And we can live in his eternal love if we just accept him in our lives and follow his plan of salvation he has laid out for us!

Thank you Jesus for jut mercy that come new each morning. It is because of mercy that we can continue on to reach those who don’t know Jesus.

We trust God because he is so great. His ways are beyond our thinking. We can’t comprehend all he has done for us. His workings always are in our best interest. Oh how he loves us. His grace cover is more than we can comprehend.
