Psalm 41

1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

4 I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.

9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

10 But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

Psalm 41:6 NLT They visit me as if they were my friends,
but all the while they gather gossip,
and when they leave, they spread it everywhere.
7All who hate me whisper about me,
    imagining the worst.

Wow, those scriptures are thousands of years old yet they still ring true today. The issue is that human nature has not changed in thousands of years. There is nothing new under the sun. The one thing that has changed is today we have access to the blood of Jesus. We must apply that blood to ourselves and refuse to gossip about folks and instead pray for them.

  2. Psalms 41:1-3 (NLT)
    1) Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble.
    2) The LORD protects them and keeps them alive. He gives them prosperity in the land and rescues them from their enemies.
    3) The LORD rescues them when they are sick, and restores them to health.

Be kind to the poor, and you’ll be blessed and taken care of by God!

What an inspiring PROMISE from the WORD of GOD when we consider or assist the poor.

The word “CONSIDERETH” means in the Hebrew:

7919.sakal, saw-kal´; to be (causatively, make or act) circumspect and hence, intelligent:—consider, expert, instruct, prosper, (deal) prudent(-ly), (give) skill(-ful), have good success, teach, (have, make to) understand(-ing), wisdom, (be, behave self, consider, make) wise(-ly), guide wittingly.

As you can read the definition of CONSIDERETH does not mean to give them money or pay their bills, although that blessing has promise as well. CONSIDERETH means to TEACH them something that will last longer than a meal or a bill. Meditate on the SPIRITUAL INSURANCE we could cover ourselves with if we would simply teach the poor how to manage their resources, how to full a job or master a trade to provide for themselves.

From a Spiritual perspective, consider the poor in Spirit, those who have no spiritual disciplines or biblical instructions. What if we could teach and train believers in the economy of GOD how to be fruitful and prosperous.

    The PROMISE:
2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

  4. Psalm 41

1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

    Always faithful.

  5. 1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the LORD delivers them in times of trouble.
2 The LORD protects and preserves them— they are counted among the blessed in the land— he does not give them over to the desire of their foes. NIV
Don’t look down just because they are weak or poor, have mercy on them and God will bless you.

  6. “You have preserved my life because I am innocent; you have brought me into your presence forever.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭41:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble

6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

Take me into your presence Lord, I want to be with You! In His presence is where we should desire to stay! I’m His is presence is where we find a giving heart, it is where we learn to keep are mouth closed about others, in His presence is where we find strength and peace!

  7. 12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

Our integrity is challenged when people/friends rise up against us and we turn the other cheek and love them anyway. Integrity is built through a process in our lives and is challenged in many areas. The saying that was popular several years ago “What would Jesus do” is a good motto to live by to keep our integrity in good standing. Use the 3 second rule and ask yourself what would Jesus do in this situation? This simple reasoning may change how we respond to situations and protect our character and integrity.

  8. But my enemies say nothing but evil about me. “How soon will he die and be forgotten?” they ask.
    Psalms 41:5 NLT
If you going to follow GOD you are going to have people who are going to hate you and Mock you

  9. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

    Investing in your future.

As a banker I am trained to understand about investing to a certain degree. And an investor will tell you that when you make the initial investment. You will loss money of whatever it is your investing. But investing is the hope and faith that you will gain something in the future.
When we give to others what do we expect to get? Nothing? Something? But investment is not always about money. We invest time with friends in hope for a relationship. We invest love to one another in the faith that it will be recipicated back to us. What do we hope for when we invest in the ministry of another minister. Like when we have a special speaker and we give to them and we say I bless you in the name of Jesus. Do we not think that God doesn’t see this? He does though. And through it we are blessed. Last week I had most of my meals paid for by someone else. Wow. That was a blessing for me. I thanked God for each one of those blessings to me, but also prayed a blessing to those who invested into me.
Invest into people. Invest your time, tallent, and yes even treasure. You don’t know what kind of impact you have on someone.

  10. Verses 9-10 say, “Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.” This reminds me of all the times that we hear preaching and read in the Word how God will deliver us from our enemies, how He will judge the wicked, how He will lift us up in times of trial. When I am going through a situation, sometimes there is a person that is the source of my difficulties at the time and I pray for God to deliver me, for Him to smite them down. But then I remember the sacrifice that God gave on the cross at Calvary. How He gave His life for ALL people to wash away everyone’s sins. How His desire is that ALL people would have everlasting life in Heaven with Him. I need to be careful that I remember this when there are situations in life when I really just want to talk mean to a person because of how mean they are being. I need to remember that God died for them too and my testimony of how I treat them may be the only light they see in their life. I need to be sure that my light is as bright as possible and to be doing all that I can to bring souls to God. No matter who they are or what they have done, God still loves them and can turn their life around, as He did for me!

  11. The opening verses here bring to mind bro. Chatwell’s message and his challenge to give… for it is certainly more blessed to give than to receive. We often see this verse expounded upon in other ways. I enjoyed the literal application and the testimonies he shared for those took the time to consider the poor and cheerfully give and the many blessings he’s received in return. The promise of God himself to not only preserve us, but to deliver us in our time of trouble… to go as far as to even make our bed when Wed are sick and afflicted. Why would we not choose to be amongst the givers in God’s kingdom?

An interesting transition is this Psalm from giving to being evil spoken of. How often does jealousy prevail when we’re truly blessed of God? Those in the world do not see the entirety of our commitment to God, just the testimony of our worship and the visible trappings of the blessings of God. But God forbid that spirit should spill over and afflict the people of God that we would say, ‘Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.’

It’s so much harder to accept that kind of reproach from someone we love and trust and thought was familiar with our character. Yet even then, he called on the mercies of God to raise him up, not to recompense then evil for evil, but to requit them. We don’t often use that word in our language today, it’s root word quite is even obsolete, but it implies a giving in return that is not necessarily in kind… or as Jesus would later say, to repay their evil with good. He didn’t just want to ignore them, he wanted God to lift him up to the point where they could see his blessings were truly of God. To retain his integrity and continue to bless the Lord at all times!

Imagine if on that day, when your enemies recognize the blessings of God, that we were able to also give unto them. They may not consider themselves to be poor, but they are certainly poverty stricken in their spirit. They need a savior and have already taken notice of your walk. That’s why we don’t repay them in kind. They may speak evil of us today, but if we can bridle our tongue and our spirit, we may one day see God make a difference in their life. Imagine sitting across the table and laughing together at the foolishness of their former opposition and recalling how God made the difference in their life!

  12. “Blessed [by God’s grace and compassion] is he who considers the helpless; The LORD will save him in the day of trouble. The LORD will protect him and keep him alive; And he will be called blessed in the land; You do not hand him over to the desire of his enemies. The LORD will sustain and strengthen him on his sickbed; In his illness, You will restore him to health.”
    ‭‭PSALM‬ ‭41:1-3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I’m so thankful for a God that’s full of grace and compassion. For a God that will not leave us the same way he found us. The God that will protect us,bless us, nurture us and restore us. My desire is to be just like my Father, The Good Shepherd. I want the Christ in me to never leave a soul the way it was found. I want Christ through me to have love and compassion, to serve, to protect and to help lead to victory’s in every new believer in Christ. I want to see through my Fathers eyes. More of you Lord and less of me.

  13. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

God shows kindness and grace to those who consider the poor and He delivers them in times of trouble. The church and we as individuals should be focused on helping the old and the young. If we do God will bless and annoint and protect us every day we live.

  14. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

“Considereth the poor”. What is depth of consideration? The Hebrew word translated to “to take thought for others.” The word translated “poor” means “those in need.” There are many people around us who are poor in love, poor in hope, and poor in the knowledge of God. Even though we cannot solve everyone’s problems, we can show them that we care. We may not have lots of money, but we can give of ourselves. We can let needy people know that we’re thinking of them. We can listen as they tell their stories. We can treat them with courtesy and respect. We can pray for them. If we can do nothing else, we can love them.

  15. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

God wants our generosity to reflect on him and show these people that he is a generous God! Bless others as he has blessed us!

  16. I am reminded of Rev. Chatwell’s message on giving. For he used verse 1 where it says Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. This reminds me to continue to give, and if the Lord increase me to give all the more and the Lord will bless and use me.

  17. 9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

Aunque mi Padre y mi Madre me dejare…….

    Psalm 27:10
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

  18. 10 But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

Those that leave their trust in the Lord will not perish.

  19. 4 I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

While we care what others think of us, David cares more for what God thinks of him and asks him to heal his soul because of his sins. Thinking about the soul being healed makes me think that some things (sins) may affect our bodies (ex: sexual sins) but some affect our very soul. Search me Lord, find any sin and make whole. I trust in your mercy and grace.

  20. I Love To Worship The Lord
    Vs 1
God blesses those who are kind to the poor. He helps them out of their troubles.
    WOW!!!!!!!!!!’
    Blessings of the merciful
This chapter teaches that God will bless the merciful even taking vengeance on their malicious enemies. God remains faithful and merits praise.

  21. Psalm 41:12 Because of my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever.

Wow! How far can your integrity take you in the kingdom? It’s is the sustaining factor that ensures a residence in the presence of God.

In the Maine Corps, integrity is everything. Without it there is no delegation, no trust. We need this in our leadership, men and women will impeccable morality.

  22. Hannah: “11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.” Everything that the Lord does is always perfect since he is a perfect God. I could never thank the Lord enough for everything that he has done for me, and that he has never let my enemies to triumph over me. When we are doing the Lords will and doing our best to serve him he will never cast us down and leave us alone. He will always be there for us and guide us done that straight, narrow path. I will praise the Lord and exalt his name above all things for all he has done for me.

  23. 10 But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

  24. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Proverbs 14:31 He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker, but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

  25. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

    PRAISE GOD!!!! I am MIGHTY!!!!!

  26. Psalm41:5 (Today’s English Amp) My enemies speak evil of me (Saying), When will he die and his name perish? This world will hate you and mock you . Bless my enemies and their families. I am going follow Jesus know matter what happens .

  27. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

  28. 5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?

6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.

7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.

    Hahaha…hahaha
The enemy will do whatever it takes to try and get at me or anybody else he doesnt have. Pastor once said the enemy dont go after the people he already has. He goes after the ones trying to guide the lost into the light. Sometimes when im praying and i start to dcree something for myself i begin to feel really selfish, so i stop and think to myself do i really need this…cause if i needed it,it would already be here and if its not here yet then dont worry if you really truat the Lord. I ignore the enemy and i pray for the souls he trys to use against me. Ill stomp on the Devil every single day. I am Blessed because of verse one.1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. I found myself doing the same thing brother Chatwell was doimg after he got the Holy Ghost…i couldnt help myself but to give to everyone that needed..at the time i had nothing, i had nothing at all. Then sure enough here came the blessings one after another blessing after blessing. God is so good. God bless you all.

    I AM MIGHTY!!!

  29. 10 But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

Through life I have learned that people may whisper against me. They may devise plans against me but when you are favored of God they will not triumph over you. When you are favored of God He can uphold you in your integrity but because your integrity is what captured God’s attention.

  30. Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The Lord rescues them when they are in trouble.
    Psalms 41:1 NLT

This is the power of giving not only to the poor but those in need. The Lord will always repay and help when we need it if we operate in the power of giving.

  31. Psalms 41:1-2 (KJV Strong’s)

To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor:
the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
    2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive;
and he shall be blessed upon the earth:
and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

God’s law of reciprocation goes way beyond giving money. We literally reap whatever we sow in whatever way we sow. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give is a good attitude.

How many stop to talk to the poor, speak to them, ask about them, and truly care what they have to say?

How many want to hear their story, or just walk by in judgment?

It could be that God has placed them center stage in our path so that we can get to them easier than those that stay pent up in houses, and their jobs all day.

Let us consider the poor..look upon, give insight, give attention to.

He that gives to the poor lends to the Lord

  32. I will remain in your presence although friends and pastors have failed you and turned away from you oh Lord. I will remain faithful to you. I am to work out my own salvation even when my friends fail. Some people influence positively and others are neagative. I must choose those that edify you Lord and will be helpful in times of despair and rejoice with me in times of blessings.

  33. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Here is a promise to write down and to go put into action. Consider the poor, assist, aide, provide, instruct, that they may be changed. And there the promise of a blessing.

  34. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

It seems as though I cant get out what I want to, this is comment number 2!
I need to get back to teaching bible studies again, it is very fun, and rewarding and I learn right along with the one im giving it too. sometimes people think that when they are poor in spirit they are spiritually dead, but im not sure if that is true, sometimes we just need someone to speak into our lives, to mentor us and hold us accountable, show us how to submit to God and our husbands for example, people dont want to backslide but if they feel that they are in this by themselves along with other things it may happen, but they dont want it too, they want to learn and to be a helping hand for someone and at the sametime they might need someone to lend them that authoritative hand! Sometimes they realize they need that discipline in their life but dont know how to start, and when they see that others might know but dont want to help, they tuck and run, because nobody likes rejection! For example!

  35. They visit me as if they were my friends, but all the while they gather gossip, and when they leave, they spread it everywhere. All who hate me whisper about me, imagining the worst. “He has some fatal disease,” they say. “He will never get out of that bed!” Even my best friend, the one I trusted completely, the one who shared my food, has turned against me.
    Psalms 41:6‭-‬9 (NLT)

Wow, this is exactly how I’ve been feeling over the last few days. It felt as if everybody that I love and care for was coming against me, but they weren’t; it was the enemy trying to discourage me into turning back to who I was. But I laugh (ha ha) you have no hold over me lucy. God has me: I am a child of the Almighty.

11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

In your face devil. God favors me for I am a warrior of the Father. My name wasn’t derived from Krieger (Warrior) for nothing.

  36. 11. By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

The safest place to be is in the favor of God.

    Psalm 5:12 KJVS
For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

  37. Most of us at one time or another have felt like everyone is against us- like their is no one we can trust. It’s a terrible feeling to sense that the people around us are two-faced, talking behind our backs and wishing the worst for us. The ultimate hurt is to be betrayed by someone we consider to be a true friend. In describing this painful experience in his life, David foreshadows that Jesus Christ will endure: slander and malice from enemies, betrayal by close friends (John 13:18-38). Like David, Jesus is deeply troubled and hurt by this, yet the Lord’s gracious forgiveness extends even to those who betray him unto death (Luke 23:33-34).

  38. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies

  39. Our enemies cannot over take us because God is with us. We can do great things as long as God is before us. We should not hesitate to praise the name of Jesus.

  40. “But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When things go wrong we have to keep going. I praise the Lord that I am able to continue through the trials.

  41. “The rumor goes out, “He’s got some dirty, deadly disease. The doctors have given up on him.” Even my best friend, the one I always told everything —he ate meals at my house all the time!— has bitten my hand.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭41:8-9‬ ‭MSG‬‬

We all have best friends and are a best friend to someone. Yet, we’ve all made mistakes and hurt that best friend. But Praise God! He is closer then any friend, any brother, and with His perfect Love He has always LOVED us!

“A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  42. And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.(Psalms 41:6 KJV)

David encourages us here that when our enemy comes to confront us they will speak with a evil spirit intending to harm us. The heart exposes what deceit may try to conceal. What the mouth speaks comes from the place of the heart. The power of life and death lies within the tounge and why we must discipline our thoughts so we watch our words we speak.

  43. 1. BLESSED is he that considereth the poor : the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble . 2. The LORD will preserve him , and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth : and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies . You are wonderful Jesus !!!!

  44. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies

This reminded me of Bro Shatwell’s preaching…..I have been trying to add this to my daily life. Most of us might think its money but it doesn’t have to be this way. I must ask myself how can I help someone in need?! With my time, talent, or treasure?!?! We can all find something to be able to help out those in need. He doesn’t lie and I am standing on His promises!!! Thank You Jesus!!!

  45. Josiah: 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because my enemy doth not triumph over me.
This verse really stick out to me because it shows that as long I am faithful and obedient to God’s word that I will not be defeated. For Israel got pestilence or sickness when they murmered against the Lord yet when they cried and trusted the Lord they triumphed. If they were not faithful and obedient would the walls of Jericho really have fallen? When Lions are young and in their prime they do not need to try to terrify their pretty so they can catch them. Young lions have the strength and stealth to catch their prey. It is the roaring lions that are weak and frail that can not do anything to you of you do not let them. However the devil is nothing. He is like a roaring lion, that is trying to bluster and put on a show about its supposed strength. Yet if I am faithful and obedient how can I be defeated? For the Lord is on my side. PRAISE THE LORD!

  46. 13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

Despite the madness around me I will continue to praise the Lord. His words are the most important to me, the ones that really matter, that lead me in paths of righteousness. So regardless of what others may think or say, praise Him in the storm!

  47. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

We are a peculiar people. A holy nation. A chosen people. We must keep our integrity, as the Church, we must. This is something that sets us apart from the others that call themselves “Christians”. We cannot allow our integrity to fail. We must keep it in our daily walk, and in our faith. The best way to do this is to seek Jesus’ face continually. Since Jesus hates sin, and hates false doctrine, keeping these out of our lives allows us to position our hearts better for seeking His face.

  48. Verses 11-12 MSG “Meanwhile, I’m sure you’re on my side—no victory shouts yet from the enemy camp! You know me inside and out, you hold me together, you never fail to stand me tall in your presence so I can look you in the eye.” Psalm 11:7 says “The Lord always does right and wants justice done. Everyone who does right will see his face.”

  49. 1 Oh, the joys of those who are kind to the poor! The LORD rescues them when they are in trouble.

The righteous know that the Lord will always meet their needs no matter what. We have the joy, when we least expect it, and the Lord supplies us. For the poor who dont know God, they are always worried about their needs. The expect any handouts, and they are dependent on others. But the righteous never expect handouts, we only receive blessings when we least expect them!

  50. 1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.

2 The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

3 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

4 I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee

  51. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
Even when those that we have poured so much time effort and commitment into, whether in friendship, working relationships or most importantly, showing /teaching about Jesus turn upon us; Jesus is faithful and will keep us. How wonderful is it to have the strength and peace of God with us in times of turmoil to not lash out at those who mean ill will but to show the love of Jesus. Praise be to God for his grace and mercy to keep us and strengthen us through every situation!
