Psalm 85

Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

  1. What a fitting chapter for our current time as this chapter is captioned in the AMP “Prayer for God’s Mercy upon the Nation” and in the CEV “A Prayer for Peace”. Oh Lord bring forth a spirit of peace and not of war for verses 8-9 CEV says “I will listen to you, Lord God, because you promise peace to those who are faithful and no longer foolish. You are ready to rescue everyone who worships you, so that you will live with us in all of your glory.” Thank you Lord Jesus for your mercy and grace. Save us today Jesus.

  2. “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭85:11-13‬ ‭KJV
The truth will always find its way to be show. The truth can never be hidden.

All good things come from God. Our life is good even when it’s bad. It’s good

  3. 9. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, so our land will be filled with his glory.

    12. Yes, the Lord pours down his blessings. Our land will yield its bountiful harvest. NLT

    9. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, so FORT WORTH will be filled with his glory.
    12. Yes, the Lord pours down his blessings. FORT WORTH will yield it’s bountiful harvest.

Let’s get on FIRE and watch Fort Worth yield it’s bountiful harvest!

  4. “Now restore us again, O God of our salvation. Put aside your anger against us once more.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭85:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God’s mercy is so strong, he puts his anger away, and again and again he forgives us of our sins, his LOVE for you and I is so great. God’s love should shine through us, our love for people should be great as well. GoRevived.

  5. I Love To Worship The Lord
    Praise For Forgiveness
The psalmist praises God for forgiving sin and pleads for restoration and deliverance . He listens intently and receives and receives a promise from The Lord . Now he is confident that The Lord will soon give what is good

  6. 7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

Thank you DADDY!!! YOU HAVE BEEN MORE THAN GOOD TO ME AND I THANK YOU,I WORSHIP YOU, I PRAISE YOU AND I LOVE YOU JESUS!!!

  7. 9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

Truth is truth. Whether we believe it and live by it or not, it sets us free even when we believe it will hurt. Truth has a matter of grounding us where we stand and keeping us firm. My daddy taught me long ago, that coming forward and telling the truth was much easier than prolonging the inevitable. When I was young and had done something wrong, he somehow taught me to come to him immediately and tell him what I did. My dad had a mean temper and would throw derogative terms around and it scared me when he was angry, but if I came forward about it, he was upset but calm about it. Our Lord has so much mercy in facing truth when we mess up.

  8. 8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our

God angry only last for a short time but his love and mercy will endure forevermore
Instead of speak negative thing on people and let speak peace and how great our God and about salvation

  9. I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saing, for he speaks peace to his faithful
people. But let them not return to their foolish ways.
    Psalms 85: 8 NLT

  10. 6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

To revive is to bring something back to life. To take something that was dead and breath life back into it… that’s what happens when we receive the holy Ghost! God’s breath is blown into us and our spirits become alive in Him.

  11. iLove to Go Blog
    6Won’t you revive us again,
so your people can rejoice in you?

How do we get revived? What is true revival? According to this chapter it is the following:

Repent and receive remission of sins:
Psalms 85:2 NLT You forgave the guilt of Your people—yes, You covered all their sins.

Make intercession and pray God would remove His anger:
Psalms 85:5 NLT Will You be angry with us always? Will You prolong Your wrath to all generations?

Ask God to show His unfailing Love towards us:
Psalms 85:7 NLT Show us Your unfailing love, O LORD, and grant us Your salvation.

Listen to what He says…(read His Word)
Psalms 85:8 NLT I listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for He speaks peace to His faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways.

Fear the Lord (obey his commandments
Psalms 85:9 NLT Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, so our land will be filled with His glory.

  12. 4 Restore us again, O God our Savior, and put away your displeasure towards us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and grant us your salvation .

  13. Psalms 85:4 & 6 (AMP)
    4) Restore us, O God of our salvation, and cause Your indignation toward us to cease.
    6) Will You not Revive us and bring us to life again, that Your people may Rejoice in You?

I liked what the 40 Days of FIRE Prayer says, “1)Revival brings the FIRE of the Holy Ghost back into the church, and 2)Pray in a spirit of Repentance that you may GO Revived.”
What is Revival? People think of Revival as being a movement of God in the world and sinners coming to Christ, but Revival does not start in the world. Revival starts in the church. Revival is for the church people to be brought back to life and refreshed in the Holy Ghost.
First we must Repent and be Restored back to God. We must allow God to repair us, fix us, mend us, and turn us back to Him. Then He will Revive us, bring us to life again, give us new strength and energy, and refresh us. Once this happens, we can Rejoice in Him.

    GO Repent
    GO be Restored
    GO be Revived
    GO Rejoice

  14. SWAK
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Four Important letters written on the sealed envelope of a love letter.
SWAK this meant the beau sending it meant business. You were His and his letter was filled with love and devotion.
How befitting that even in Gods word he mentions a kiss.
A promise of His love His mercy His righteousness and peace all come together with a kiss. His love for us so ever reaching . The sacrifices He made for us .
No greater love was ever shown. SWAK. Sealed With A Kiss
A God so ever loving how can I not serve Him ? How can I not go into the world and share His kindness. He gave so much and I give so little.
Thank you for peace and your undeserving love.

  15. 9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

  16. 13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Order my steps before me oh Lord, that I would walk in righteousness and holiness and not of sin and carnality!

6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

As we go through 40 days of fire I pray that You would draw us closer and revive us the church that we may bring fire into our city!!

  17. 11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 We can change our city with 40 days of Fire in prayer & fasting today!

  18. How did these two meet?

10 Mercy and truth are met together…

Mercy is defined as compassion shown to an offender or to one subject to one’s power; lenient or compassionate treatment or a blessing that is an act of divine favor or compassion. Truth is defined as sincerity in action, character, and utterance.

There can be no mercy without truth. If we cannot stand before our judge and declare that we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, there is no truth in us and thus there will be no mercy available. Mercy is dependent on truth. Understanding mercy is often difficult for people as we tend to be a generation of revenge and instant gratification.

We are all sinners and do not meet the standards of righteousness that God intends us to have. However, through His mercy He provided a way for our sins to be forgiven by the blood of Jesus. Mercy meets truth when we are honest with ourselves and God that we are perfect but strive for perfection.

  19. 12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

What a fitting chapter to begin 40 Days of Fire with. Revive us, revive the passion and fire within us Lord. God, You speak peace and truth that we may rejoice in Your goodness and rejoice in the harvest of our land which You have blessed.

  20. THE GO IN OUR GO

9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

The word GO we find in verse 13 reveals to us that we establish a path to GO in GOD when we GO in RIGHTEOUSNESS. Righteousness is the path to GO for and IN Christ JESUS.

When we GO in the fear or respect of GOD, verse 9 reveals that Salvation or Deliverance is near to us. The PROMISE of the LORDS Blessing and Provision we find in verse 12.

However the most important point in this passage we find in verse 13. As we embark on #40DaysofFirePOFW and prepare and position ourselves to GO into the harvest field and labor for JESUS. I pray that we will revive and renew our commitment and convictions to RIGHTEOUSNESS.

RIGHTEOUSNESS is what will GO before us, submission and obedience to the WORD and will of GOD will clear the path and order our steps.

The real GO IN OUR GO at The POFW is that we GO right. Right in spirit, right in motive, right in procedure, right in process and right in attitude. Lets GO in Righteousness.

  21. 1 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

No matter what we are going through currently, God has done great things for us, and we can call past experiences and victories to remembrance and use the strength from those situations to carry our faith during the current storm or struggle. Faith from one day should carry us through the next day, building upon each as a stepping stone.

Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

  22. 8 I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying,
for he speaks peace to his faithful people.
But let them not return to their foolish ways.

    Choose to LISTEN carefully.

There are different personalities, characters, and even different ways to learn. Yet, when we CHOOSE to listen that’s when we learn the best!

When we CHOOSE to listen, we raise expectation within ourselves to what He will say.

When we CHOOSE to listen, we are forever changed, and we don’t CHOOSE to return to our foolish ways!

For the next 40 Days let’s CHOOSE to LISTEN Carefully!

  23. 3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

In moments frustration we find ourselves questioning if we will always be this way.
Were all humans, we still flesh, we still have blood. We still sweat and we still cry. These human characteristics that are unavoidable. When the spirit is within you, peace is there. I find peace when I cry out to God. When i feel his presence as i call out his precious name Jesus. I think back to when times were harder. I think back from what got has saved me from.
I now know that the God of peace is with me and he is with you

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
    Romans 15:33 KJV

  24. 12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

As long as we stay true to the LORD and where He guides us we shall receive the the increase of where He has placed us.

  25. 2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

So thankful for Jesus’ Blood covering my sins.

  26. Psalms 85: 11-13 Truth shall spring out of the earth and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yea the Lord shall give that with is good and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him and shall set us in the way of his steps .

Be strong and courageous do not be afraid or terrified because of them for the Lord your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor for stake you.

  27. 7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

No matter the sins that we’ve committed God has still always shown us mercy!

  28. 8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

I have caught myself returning to my own shortcomings. When we hear Jesus, we need to stand firm…

  29. 12. Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase. 13. Righteousness shall go before him, and shall set us in the way of his steps. I Love you Jesus !!!! I Praise you Jesus !!!! I Thank you Jesus !!!! I Glorify you Jesus !!!! I Exalt you Jesus !!!!

  30. I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, so our land will be filled with his glory. (‭Psalms‬ ‭85‬:‭8-9‬ NLT)

Praise GOD!! Our land filled with his GLORY through truth and righteous living!!

  31. 7. Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
The Lord our God is a just and righteous God. He desires us to be with him forever in heaven and not lost. Hence, he bestows mercies and salvation unto us. Yet, this mercy and grace is not meant as a free pass for us to simply do what we want and expect that his grace and mercy will make atonement. He wants us to turn away from those sins of the past which are covered under the blood he shed for us and not ever go back to what we were but to become what he desires us to be for his glory and his honor.

  32. REPENTANCE is readily remembered in today’s Psalm: ‘Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.’ The Bible assures us that if we repent, he is faithful and just to forgive. Not only are those sins forgiven, ‘Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.’ There is no need to worry if his forgiveness has been granted, for he is not a man that he should lie. When God forgives, the anger and wrath are gone, the relationship is restored, we can freely enter into his presence again. We just need to recognize the need to change, and is we feel we need some help in doing so, ‘Turn us, O God of our salvation…’

Salvation begins with our demonstration of faith in our repentance. Without repentance, there can be no salvation… that’s why the Angels rejoice when a sinner repents; even before his salvation is complete. They understand that once we’ve made that decision to turn around and begin trusting God for our direction, there is nothing in this world that can stop us from receiving the promises of God! All we need to do is keep on walking, and when begin to weary: ‘Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? …Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good’ What greater assurance do we need?

Have always enjoyed those verses near the end of this passage: ‘Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.’ There is never a contradiction in God or his nature! His truth and righteousness are not set aside for his mercy and peace to prevail… he just had to provide the sacrifice himself and demonstrated the magnitude of his love by doing so! Of course, that sacrifice of love just makes it possible… for us to receive his promise requires REPENTANCE!

  33. 11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Give unto me ,oh God, the blessings that you have for me. And if I am the one who is in the way of your blessings. Show me that I may turn my heart right and cause me to step in your pathways. Show me your ways your everlasting live. You are a God of mercy , love , and righteousness. Thank you father for your love.

  34. Yes, the Lord pours down his blessings. Our land will yield its bountiful harvest.
    Psalms 85:12 NLT

All the hard work and prayers will soon reap all the fruit of this city, because God has pord our His Blessing upon this land.

  35. Psalm 85:9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him ; that glory may dwell in our land.

Isaiah 46:13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zionsville for Israel my glory.

  36. 2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

This is just a reminder of Calvary, how God died so that we could have our sins removed and become white as show. O the blood of Jesus, O the blood of Jesus. Thank you Jesus Lord of all for dying for my sins on a tree. So I can be saved.

  37. 8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

We have it so Awesome!Jesus LOVES US and we will hear what he speaks! Peace is among us from him! His love is as sweet as honey and never is running dry! Always so silky smooth like honey! Thank you Jesus for your peace and I will never turn back!

  38. Josiah: 1 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
God’s people are so blessed. When we listen to God and obey His word God fights our battles, delivers us, blesses us and so much more for we are His people. In the Old Testament God’s people, Israel, got their battles fought for them. In the New Testament God’s disciples got delivered and His people saved. There are many examples of God’s people getting delivered but it was the people who called on God, who had a thirst for His truth, and wanted to know more, it was people who God planned to use that got delivered not people who purposefully left God and refused to go back. However when Israel turned their backs on Jesus. The Savior of saviors. They no longer had a savior to protect them and they wandered for 40 years in the wilderness. This is why we should always be obedient to God’s word for He is our Savior. THANK YOU JESUS. LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!…….

  39. Hannah: “4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. 5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?” The Lord has tons of mercy that he shows whenever we ask him to take away our sin. Each of us need to forgive if we want the Lord to forgive us. His mercy is great and without his salvation no one could be saved. He died for our sins so he could show his great mercy and salvation. He set a perfect example which I will always strive to be like.

  40. 9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Our relationship with God should be top priority. For the further we are away from him the further we are away from our salvation. He is our savior and it should be our desire to be near him each and every day.

  41. 5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Im so grateful for a merciful God! When we mess up he gives an opportunity to repent before him and turn away from our sins. I don’t want to take the goodness of God for granted by turning away from God and going back to my sinful ways.

    Proverbs 26:11
As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

  42. 11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
The truth will always find it’s way out into the light. Even if it has to break through the earth.

  43. 6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

So many times throughout the books of Samuel, you read how many of the rulers of Israel didn’t follow after God and then a king would come along who would try to serve God. It almost seems like the relationship of Israel with God was a constant roller coaster. Reading these verses in this Psalm and thinking of the children of Israel, I am reminded of how this process is evident now. God is coming back soon and many people are trying to turn back to God. Yet, with God coming so soon, there is not anytime to turn away from God and expect to still have time to come back to Him later! God is so willing to guide those who love Him to eternal life, yet we need to make a conscious choice, that to love God you can’t love the things of this world. I need to be doing all that I can to serve God and to be sure that my testimony is one that will help others serve God!

  44. v 8 Let me hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, to his saints, to those who turn to him in their hearts.

    ” The goodness

of God leadeth thee to repentance” ROMANS 2:4

That’s evidence of HIS GREAT MERCY.
HE does not bless because we deserve it, but HE shows us HIS !OVE even when we do not deserve it.
Thank you JESUS for your goodness.

  45. 8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

When we are away from God we loose the protection we once had and havoc comes in. He is our God that brings peace unto our storms but away from Gods ways we cannot receive this promise.

  46. This verse is a beautiful allegory for the restoration and renewal God will bring to his people. The virtues that naturally complement and flow from each other- love and faithfulness, righteousness and peace- have all been torn apart by Israel’s rebellion. Disharmony has prevailed, and all joy has fled. Now the psalmist rejoices in the Word he receives from the Lord: God will put everything back together the way he always intended it to be. He will restore morality and harmony in his people and renew his blessing in glorious ways. Because of the Lord’s unfailing Love, we can always count on his salvation (vs 7).

  47. 13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

Some churches believe that once saved always saved and that your works are not concidered in salvation. The problem with that is the rest of the Bible. How can two walk together unless they agree? How can you walk with God unless you are like him? If you are in Gods will or in this scripture explains it as his steps you have to be living a righteous life. There is no way to do whatever the flesh wants to do and please him. The flesh is enmity with God. Be ye perfect because I am perfect. We have to strive for perfection. Your walk with God proves your love for him.

  48. 7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.

Thank you Jesus that we have been given an opportunity to have your precious blood cover all of our sins. Your name is greater and your blood is more powerful than anything we can imagine

  49. I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.(Psalms 85:8 KJV)

To be able to hear God the Lord speak we have to be in lined and connected with him our hearts and minds have to be connected also to him and the kingdom for he establishes a connection with us to Himself through the Holy Spirit. The Lord speaks peacefulness unto his children to free them from disturbance like being distracted from the things in this world. (If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land)” (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)

  50. 13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps

In order to see God we must live a righteous and holy life to His standards not our own standards. If Jesus tells us to do something we must do it because we love Him not because we have to do it. For example, my mom never let me spend the night at anyone’s house EVER because of so many reasons that could’ve happened to me. At that point I didn’t understand and would get upset but now that I’m a mother I completely understand and thank her for doing that. Just like with God, He tells us to obey His commands whether we understand them or not. He knows what is best for us and His plans are better than our own plans!!! There are times where I want to know all the why’s to my situations but I have to learn to trust Him!!! Help me Lord obey your commands daily!!!

  51. Psalm 85:8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

It’s hard to see people acknowledge that turning to back to the things of this world will only bring dissolution. Yet they still chose the latter. They know the delivering power of God, they know they joy of being in his presence and they still chose the temporal of the flesh.

It’s such a tragedy to see just potential for the things of God go to waste in people choosing to not live for God. Our value was set on the cross by Jesus, and we are too blinded by our carnal passions to see it.

God deliver us a reprobate mind.

  52. 9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

  53. “Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭85:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So thankful for Calvery! If it had not been for the ultimate sacrifice and the shedding of blood where would I be? He has invested so much in us I pray that I bring Him honor for the rest of my life.

  54. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
    Psalms 85:2‭-‬3 KJV

God has forgiven me of all my past sins. He has taken away my anger and frustrations. Why is it then they still dwell inside me? I believe because I have not fully forgiven myself of things that I have done. God knows my heart and He knows that I’m doing my best to keep focused on Him and his words. To stay grounded in the bible, but there are times that it is difficult to do. I thank God every day for all that He is doing in my life and for granting me another day to show myself worthy of Him. Thank you Jesus.

  55. 5Will you be angry with us always? Will you prolong your wrath to all generations?

Can God Tay angry at me or at us forever? Angry no, disappointed yes. I see it like when Adam/Eve ate of the fruit. I’m sure God was angry and disappointed. But God showed us mercy and let us live. Anger is a spur of the moment of frustration. We must learn to forgive when when we get angry.

  56. Psalm85:8 ( English Amp) I will listen ( with expectancy) to what God the Lord will say, for He will speak peace to His people, to His saints ( those who are in right standing with Him)But let them not turn again to ( self – confident) folly. Thank you God for your protection, You show us Your Mercy , Your loving-kindness.Be sure you listen what God during our 40 Days of Fire.
