Psalm Chapter 95

40 Days of FIRE – Day 11

God is love and we must Go in Love. For love hopes, believes, and endures all things. People are seldom rewarded for their hard hearts and the way they think. For the unbearable price of a hard heart is restlessness. Pray for the people of this region to not harden their hearts against God but be ready to receive from Him.

JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

Psalm 95

O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lordour maker.

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

  1. 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
I bless your Holy Name Oh Lord. You are mighty and just. I rejoice in everything and praise you forever.

  2. We must listen and not harden our hearts! You see the effects of a lack of listening to him causes a hard heart. Remember, Jesus said my sheep know my voice and they follow me. In other words, listen don’t harden your heart and follow him not the stranger.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

    “Listen & be soft hearted”………

  3. When we keep our eyes on Jesus and praise and worship him continually, our hearts have no chance to become hardened. We will follow him where ever he leads.

  4. Verses 1-2 MSG “Come, let’s shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us! Let’s march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns!” This verse reminded me of the song “Come Let Us Sing”:

Come, let us sing, let us rejoice,
Come, let us sing, let us rejoice.
Messiah’s come, and He brought life,
and He brought laughter into my soul.

It would have been enough, if He brought life,
It would have been enough, if He brought peace.
It would have been enough, if He brought joy,
but He brought laughter into my soul.

Verse 6 AMP “O come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer].” COME = GO

Psalms 95:2 KJV Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

There is a right way to come before the creator of the universe…and the correct way is right here in this chapter. We are to come to God’s presence with thanksgiving, praise, and a joyful noise.

The Word of God says, “James 4:7-8 KJV Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (8) Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

If we ever want to enter into His Presence, we cannot just sit there…we must create the atmosphere of worship.

  6. 1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
3 For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods.

  7. We must not be persuaded by the things of this world. We must be led by the spirit of God. The enemy is out to get all those who truly claim the name od Jesus. If we are going to spread the gospel, let’s be serious about it and tell others. The lost will continue to wander unless we setup the landmark for them to follow.

  8. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lordour maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

  9. GO WILLINGLY

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

As we heard Pastor Stark preach about the sheep and shepherd relationship. We can clearly see that the shepherd has a heart to protect his sheep and lead them to places of safety. Occasionally the adversary is able to slip in with a deceptive thought that tempts us to disregard this fact.

The way we overcome this deceptive thought is to GO WILLINGLY in obedience. When we hear HIS voice whether through the WORD of GOD, the man of GOD or the actual voice of GOD. We should be willing to GO and not to be stubborn or hard hearted.

Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Every BLESSING is connected to our obedience. GOD may Bless us in advance out of his kind nature, however there will be an opportunity to be obedient connected to the Blessing. Stubborn people must fight for every Blessing. JESUS our shepherd desires to LEAD us to the Blessed Place in HIM, but we must GO WILLINGLY to receive the GOOD of the Land.

    Lets GO!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo

  10. 4. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

The strength of the hills is His…

And He is the strength of ‘The Hills’

  11. Psalms 95:1-2 & 6
    1) O COME, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
    2) Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
    6) O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

    Let us sing
Let us make a joyful noise
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving
    Let us worship
    Let us kneel
These verses teach us how we should COME before the LORD.

Why is it important to COME before the LORD like this?
Because “He is the rock of our salvation,” and “He is a great God, and a great King above all gods,” and “He is our Maker,” and “He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand.”

  12. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Make a joyful noise praise the king of of kind worship who brought you out of your trouble can’t no body do what my God does that why I will praise him thank you Jesus

  13. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Ask bro. Stark preached recently God’s sheep know his voice. We recognize his calling and direction. When we hear the voice of God we should not resist but stand tall and strong and hear his voice. Don’t provoke Him like we did in the wilderness. Let’s obey and hearken unto the Lord

  14. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.

“Let us” …not “Come on, we have to.” It’s a privilege and an honor to come before God the rock of our salvation and the Lord our maker; He’s good and He’s worthy!

  15. 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

    He is my strength!

  16. 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

We grieve the spirit of the Lord when we err in our heart through pride and selfish ways, and do our own thing.

We are admonished by the Word of God to walk in the Spirit.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law

When we walk daily in the Spirit, we will not err in our heart and we will possess the fruit of the Spirit – which includes love. Go in LOVE today!

  17. Psalms 95:1-3 O come let us sing unto the Lord let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God and great King above all gods.

LOVE! Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

  18. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

As bro. Stark preached Wednesday night, sheep know the voice of their shepherd!
We need to know the voice of our shepherd so that when someone else comes and tries to speak lies to us and deceive us, we know it is not the voice we should be listening to. The way to do this is to have a willing and obedient heart and be submitted under the man of God!

  19. Josiah: 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
When we GO to church or enter into His presence in worship we should not GO do it sadly or even neutrally but we should GO “before His presence with thanksgiving”. For how can we be sad since the Lord has done so much for us. We should GO “before His presence with thanksgiving” for He is our God and our savior. He offers us so much but the limit is us. The Bible says you reap what you sow. The limit is on us for how much we GO do. That extra chapter when you read your Bible. That extra street in outreach that you do not want to go down. This is why when we should “come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms”. When we enter into His presence we can refresh ourselves and renew our hearts. We can rejoice as we make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms for our savior and ” Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” That is why we should enter in with thanksgiving because He is our God and deserves praise and because we as humans only last so long but a good old fashioned worship or church service can refresh us. LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD!

  20. 1-2 Come, let’s shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us! Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
3 And why? Because God is the best, High King over all the gods.

God with all that I am I praise your name and give thanks to you! You are my rock on which I stand on, the one that provides everything I need, and the one who holds all power in his hand and power in His Name! Gods people can list why God is so worthy of all the praise but the people that don’t know him ask so many times why? That’s where his people come into their lives and tell them everything God has done, what power he has, and he will do for them! They ask why and we know the reasons, we can’t hold the answer from them, then they would never know! In this revival there are people out there asking why? And it’s our part to go out there and tell them about Jesus and show them the answer!

  21. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Lord help me to hear your voice and follow you.

  22. O COME, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. 3. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. I sing praises to you Jesus !!!! I lift you up Hallelujah !!!! For there is no one better than you !!!! You REIGN !!!!

  23. God is love! When you consider what we deserve and what God offered in its place, ‘O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.’ Do we really believe that? Do our actions express it? Do our words declare it? If we have his agape love within us, is it pouring out to all those we come in contact with? Because if it’s his love, it should affect everyone arround us!

If his love is making that kind of a difference in our lives, ‘O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lordour maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand.’ We heard a wonderful message regarding his sheep… so if we’re truly his sheep, are we following his voice in faith? The psalmist ends this praise with a warning of the lack of faith in the children of Israel and it’s cost: forty years of wandering in the wilderness. I don’t want a lack of faith or obedience in him.. I want to go in his love! This is love, that ye keep my commandments. Love is always seen in a willing obedience, so let his love remain within me.. not only within me, let it flow through me as I go is his agape love to make a difference in this world that only his love can do!

  24. I Love To Worship The Lord
The psalmist calls us to acknowledge The Lord as the Great God above all others and to worship Him. We worship by hearing and responding to His voice Not to respond is to lose our opportunity for rest.

  25. Psalm95:3 (English Amp) For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. I will praise God for everything., And make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise.

  26. 6 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker,

To me kneeling is a sign of obedience and giving in to authority. Your telling God , I’m here ready to listen and do your will. It’s also a sign of respect and honor given to authority.

  27. 3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

    #GOdosomething

Let us sing praise I’m him. For he is great.

  28. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Amen His Word says to make a joyful noise period not whenever we want to. There are times when I don’t feel like it but then I remember from the pit He took me out and from where he rescued I begin to praise His name. No othere God like my God!!!

  29. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Ready for tomorrow to go to the house of God to worship. Also thankful we can sing unto the Lord anytime.

  30. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

These verses tell us to sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. This is a joy for me for I am not the best singer, but I just like everyone else can make a joyful noise unto the Lord. So it does not matter how well I can sing (even though I try to get better) I just need to make a noise that is joyful unto the Lord. And everybody can do that! Come let us make a joyful noise!

  31. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

If we truly are the sheep of his pasture, we should come hungry. We should be waiting always on the Shepard to come feed us. It should be the highlight of our week to hear the word come across the pulpit .You never hear of any sheep making excuses not to go eat with the rest of the sheep. Sheep are always hungry.

  32. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, (‭Psalms‬ ‭95‬:‭7‬ KJV)

Jimmy Stark recently came to the church and taught on sheep. I would rather be a sheep than a goat. Sheep listen better, trust more, and are less violent. We must listen and obey. We must trust that Pastor has guidance and direction for us to keep us in God’s hand.

  33. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

God is looking for us to continue in His presence daily. This means we will daily live a life of thanksgiving to Him. He has done more than our minds can imagine and we should thank Him in all things.

  34. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

His voice is there and its telling you what you need to do. Use the gift of the Holy ghost to attract people in. Reach to the lost. Work for their salvation. Go in the name of Jesus.

    God bless you all

  35. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Great and Mighty are you Lord! I will continue to sing praises to the one who deserve it! Jesus you are the air that I breathe! I owe you my praise.

  36. Hannah:”1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.” I always want to come to him with a thankful heart and never a selfish heart. I will shout to the Lord and praise his name all the days of my life, He is worthy of our highest praise and he is our solid foundation. He was the one who had created us and he is the one who has given us life to praise him. TO praise him we use many instruments and we sing to make a loud and joyful noise unto our Lord. He deserves everything and you should always come to him with a thankful heart for all he has done for you. He will never desert you and he will always be the one who will pick you up and set you back onto his path when you fall. Always give him exuberant praise and always make joyful noises unto our Lord.

  37. 4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

I read this verse probably 10 times before I really that I had been reading it wrongly, is not his hands are in the deep places, but rather the deep places are in his hands. The deep places could be the deep places of our hearts. Many times the deep places are dark places, but they are still in his hands…

  38. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

As his sheep we will always know our Lords voice. It’s not always audible like a move in the Spirit or a still small voice. Like with Jesus when we stay close to out Shepard and pastor we begin to recognize not only his voice but see the vision being cast. Straying away from the Shepard is dangerous because if it gets to the point we can’t hear his voice or harden by heart a sheep can get lost and fall prey. Staying in the circle is our strength close to our source.

  39. 7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

  40. Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:(Psalms 95:8 KJV)

Lord for i will not harden my heart for it can dull my ability to perceive and from understanding anyone’s heart can be harden even faithful Christians. Going through the wilderness can provoke feelings of being lost or deserted. We overcome this by not hardening our hearts and trusting that if he brought us to it he will bring us through it.

  41. Psalm 95 Sing praises to the Lord and never harden your heart.

Psalm 95:7 MSG Oh yes, he’s our God, and we’re the people he pastures, the flock he feeds. Drop everything and listen, listen as HE speaks.

GO harden not your heart and listen, listen to His voice.

  42. 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

No one will enter the kingdom of God if we don’t follow the teachings of God and turn away from sin.

  43. v 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

We come before HIM in a spirit of humidity and reverence, rather than with expressive words alone. Everything will praise and glorify GOD!
According to scriptures, those who fail to bow now in repentance and worship will finally boe at the time in HIS PRESENCE.

  44. “for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭95:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Have you ever told someone the same thing more then once only for them to reply with “what did you say?”.

How many times have we ourselves done that to God? Here we are trying to figure out how to do this, when He’s telling us through His word:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    Just LISTEN to His Word!

  45. Psalm 95

1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Thank you Jesus for you are great and worthy of all praise. I bless your name Jesus. You are high and there is no one like you.

  46. 8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Wow. It was prophecied in the old testament about his fast and temptation in the wilderness. Thank you Jessie for over coming it all

  47. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lordour maker.

7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

  48. Today, if only you would hear his voice,

“Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,[a]
as you did that day at Massah[b] in the wilderness,

    where your ancestors tested me;
they tried me, though they had seen what I did.

    A message to the backslider:

When we are compared to sheep in the Bible, God is referencing the truth about our dependence of the Shepherd. Without a Shepherd, the flock can go astray off a cliff or into a predator infested plain. Without a Shepherd, the flock will not know where to find food. Without a Shepherd, they have no defense from all predators that may come to devour them.

We need the Shepherd, without him we have no direction, no food, no protection. Thank you Lord for the man of God, the shepherd that you have put in my life.

  49. 2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
There is nothing in this Earth that can compare to our God. He is the only one that can save, heal, deliver and make a way when there is not any way known to man. We come into his presence with Thanksgiving and enter into his courts with praise because of who he is! This world cannot take away the joy and peace he has given to my soul. I want to stay obedient to his word and emanate the thankfulness in my soul for all he has done!!

  50. 1 O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

  51. 10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

People tend to forgive our mistakes. Mistakes are generally a slip of the mind which result in a lack of judgement. Those who err in their hearts are more purposeful in their actions. It is harder to forgive those who intentionally hurt others and have malicious intentions. Jesus did not afford us the right to pick and choose whom we will forgive. We must include any that asks and those who do not ask.

This is hard to do. Most of us are waiting for the day that someone will get their due reward. However, true forgiveness releases those who have done us wrong from their punishment. If God chooses to punish the offenders – that is his business – and we should not build bleachers for spectating and hire cheerleaders to root for more.

    Give me a “J” – Give me a “E” – Give me a “S” – Give me a “U” – Give me a “S” – what’s that spelllll

JESUS – Go Jesus Go – Go Jesus Go

Rather – we should pray for those individuals that they see the err in their hearts and change.

  52. For the Lord is the great God,
the great King above all gods.

Our God is above every name and above every god because he created us and he woke us up this morning and just for that we should worship him and we should also worship him because of what he’s done for us!

  53. 6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lordour maker.
7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Harden not your heart when the Lord test your you, he is only proving you. Amen!

  54. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
    Psalms 95:7‭-‬8 KJV

I know He is my God and I am His sheep. Do I hear the voice of God? Let not my heart be hardened to His word or His voice. God hear me and let loose anything that may keep me from you. Let nothing of this world tempt me into turning away from you and the glory of your kingdom. I know that the thoughts have been there. Let my path be as yours. Thank you Jesus.

Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through him who gives me strength.

  55. May 6
5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

Just like he formed man and woman with HIS hands!!!
