Psalm 106

Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the Lord.

17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.

34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the Lordcommanded them:

35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

  1. Verses 1-3 MSG “Hallelujah! Thank God! And why? Because he’s good, because his love lasts. But who on earth can do it—declaim God’s mighty acts, broadcast all his praises? You’re one happy man when you do what’s right, one happy woman when you form the habit of justice.”

Psalm 71:14-18 CEV says “I will never give up hope or stop praising you. All day long I will tell the wonderful things you do to save your people. But you have done much more than I could possibly know. I will praise you, Lord God, for your mighty deeds and your power to save. You have taught me since I was a child, and I never stop telling about your marvelous deeds. Don’t leave me when I am old and my hair turns gray. Let me tell future generations about your mighty power.”

  2. 2. Who could find words to tell of the Eternal’s mighty deeds or give Him all the praise He deserves? Voice

Our limited speech and mental capacity and can’t do justice to praising an unlimited God!

    John 21:25
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. KJV

  3. 2020 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
    21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
25 But thy murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.

For verse 20 another translations say ”
They exchanged their glorious God for an image of a bull, which eats grass.”

The people would rather feast on earthly thing instead of Godly. This sounds like the world we live in today. The Bible says a carnal mind is the enemy of God and enemies fight each other. Yet, some are wondering why they do not have peace in their mind and spirit. Once your carnal mind dies to the mind of Christ and you walk with His mind and surrender to His will you will have peace and joy. So until you stop being bull headed you will not find peace or “rest” anywhere.

It would be wise for us to start thanking God and praising Him not only for who He is but also for the man of God He has given us to stand in the gap for our souls. I wonder how many would be destroyed if the pastor did not stand in the gap for them. People of God it is our job to make sure we keep Pastors hands uplifted in prayer. He is spiritually fighting for our souls, the souls of our children, and the souls of this region. So, have you prayed for your pastor today? Have you done your due diligence to war in the spirit for the church, your family and friends, and the region of Fort Worth? Have you prayed? God is looking for intercesors will He find you willing to stand in the gap for those around you that need Him?

I refuse to turn the Glory that is due to God to a “bull eating grass” when that bull was created by the God that gives me breath every morning. i want my spiritual body to be healthy and ready to Obey the command of God at all times. Many walk around healthy and fat in their fleshly desires yet their spirit lacks the nutrients needed to even stay alive. Lord help us.!

  4. 1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

“Praise ye the Lord, hallelujah!” Praise God for His mercy made new everyday; it’s because of His mercy we can endure times like this chapter describes yet realize our faults and turn back to a God who still has His arms of love opened to us.

  5. The pople in the camp were jealous of moses and envious of Aaron, the Lord’s holy pricest. Psalms 106:16 NLT

We cannot allow the spirit of jealousy and envy to have place in our minds and hinder the Revival.

  6. What else needs to be said?……….

47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

    “Save”………

  7. 1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?
3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
    4 Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his merciees.

  8. It is wise to learn from history so that we do not make the same mistakes. We have to take God’s word for truth and obey.

  9. Josiah: 42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
When Israel rebelled from the Lord and “39…went a whoring with their own inventions.” God let Israel’s enemies oppress them and the Israelites be brought under subjection to their enemies. Over and over again God delivered them, but He brought them low multiple times because of their iniquity. However God hears the cry of His people and “he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:” When we serve the Lord and obey His word God hears us and can deliver us from our enemies. So, let us GO fearlessly and spread the word of the Lord! Let us GO have our fire burning and be that city on a hill and let our light continually shine! LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE YE THE LORD!

  10. Do Not Let Me Forget
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

Marvelous are Your ways. Let me continue to wait in the counsel of You and those in authority over me. I trust You oh Lord and I trust the Godley counsel that speaks into my life. I will sing praises to You. I will continue to be reminded of all Your handiwork your magnificent Glory.

    His Strength is Perfect
Thank You for my unexpected blessing!
I trust in You oh Lord!

  11. 39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Made me think of all the backsliding I have done, and how I would go do what i wanted because I felt that I was missing something, and I was being whorish for the enemy, People would say thats ok God knows your heart, ( I absolutely cant stand to hear that ) because my heart was full of wickedness and they would say that like its a free pass, but there came a point where I wouldn’t feel convicted and it seems as though God would let me do me. After a while I would start to think of how much better I was doing when I was not just in church but back to doing what I was suppose to! People would out the blue start telling me I needed to go back home, and they wouldn’t be talking about my residence. I would cry and repent and God would always take me back! Those days are gone and over, Im done with that, how can I be rooted anywhere when im always running and leaving, Thank you Jesus for wise men that you allow to speak in my life! And thank you for a Man of God and Woman of God that you placed in my life!

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

  12. iLove to Go Blog

Psalms 106:14-15 KJV  But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.  (15)  And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

Many folks say that God will not give you something if it is not His will. Well, according to the above mentioned scriptures God gave the people what they lusted for but that lust did not satisfy them. Notice that after they received what they wanted, they still had leanness in their soul.

Also remember that it was never God’s will for Israel to have a king. But as the people asked the prophet to make them a king, God told Samuel to give the people what they wanted.

Just remember, just because God answers your prayer and gives you what you’ve been praying and fasting about, doesn’t mean it was the will of God or that God even approves of it…it might just mean God has given you over to that particular lust…

  13. Praise the Lord ! Give thanks to the Lord , for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Who can list the glorious miracles of the Lord ? Who can ever praise him enough? There is joy for those who deal justly with others and always do what is right.
    Psalms 106:1‭-‬3 NLT
The Lord is good and his Mercy is forever what joy to see God people do right I will praise him he doing great things

  14. 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

True christianity and characteristics of Jesus Christ comes out when we don’t understand, or even agree at times, but we choose to do the right thing, righteousness, regardless of how we feel.

Imagine what this would be like today, if Jesus went by his emotions while He walked this earth instead of pursuing His purpose. He didn’t want to suffer and die on the cross, He even prayed, Father, if it be thy will let this cup of suffering pass from me, but nevertheless, He followed through and gave us the opportunity to live forever.

We must be on point, be on purpose, and choose to live righteous regardless of how you feel or who is around, it will bring blessings into our lives.

  15. 21 They forgot God, their savior, who had done such great things in Egypt

When reading this chapter or any chapters regarding the children of Israel, sometimes ya just question ” What were they thinking?”. We want to judge and proclaim “I would never do that!” or “How could you do that after what God did for you!”.

However, verse 21 states they FORGOT God.

How could they forgot God?! He split the Red Sea, He sent manna from Heaven, He sent water from a rock!

Yet, you can’t forget something you spend time with every day. It’s the moment we stop spending time with Him that we are setting ourselves up for failure. The moment we STOP PRAISING and START COMPLAINING about what God has done, we begin to forget who God is.

In 1 John 5:3 “For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.”

We must refrain from complaining about commandments and instead, we should give God PRAISE for the commandments that separate us from this world.

John 14: “If ye love me, keep my commandments”. You won’t forget something you are daily in love with.

  16. 47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

As seen may times throughout the bible and in our lives today; many can people get caught up in the transient trappings of this world. It does not usually come to pass quickly but rather gradually as one starts to put the wisdom, direction, devotion and obedience to God aside as they start to rely upon the advice and direction from that of people who are also stumbling or have fallen , are not heading to His word and not serving God. It is not until they are confronted with a major crisis in their lives that they realize that have drawn away from God.
God has shown his mercy throughout all generations and is continuing to show it today. He is a just and righteous God that forgives and gives us the opportunity to surrender our lives to him again. He desires to save us so we can be with him forever more.
I thank and praise him for not letting us die in our sins but for all he is doing so that our lives can become completely devoted unto him. Then the world will see his light shining through us and we can be a help to bring lost and hurting souls to Jesus.

  17. GO IN BLESSING

3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

BLESSINGS from JESUS come when we honor and obey HIS WORD and SPIRIT. The SPIRIT of GOD will never contradict the WORD of GOD. The SPRIT of GOD will never guide me to do anything to violate the WORD of GOD or the HOLY principals of HIS Kingdom.

The normal or natural response of GOD to a willing, faithful and obedient servant is BLESSING. The word BLESSED in verse 3 describes a lifestyle, the past tense form of the word as our English language teaches is something that has begun, already happened or is in progress.

The AMP version of verse 3 reads:
3 Blessed are those who observe justice [by honoring God’s precepts],
Who practice righteousness at all times.

With the understanding that when we honor GOD with our words, attitude and works we align ourselves to be BLESSED of GOD. Understanding this principal we should be able to identify when we stray from the WORD and principals of GOD. When we recognize that we have strayed, it is then we must seek the Mercy of GOD through Repentance.

Everyday we seek to walk in the LOVE of GOD, obeying the WORD of GOD and following the SPIRIT of GOD we are already BLESSED by GOD. HE will keep us, protect us, provide for us, make a way for us, love us, forgive us and guide us.

Choosing to do RIGHT all times can be challenging in certain situations, however the promise of being BLESSED by GOD should motivate to always do RIGHT.

    iPraise

  18.  Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

We get into trouble when we forget God’s kindness and mercy to us and instead become ungrateful. The children of Isreal forgot all the goodness of God and allowed themselves to murmur and complain instead of being greatful and that caused them to have to travel in the wilderness for 40 years so let’s be greatful for what God has done in our lives and not forget his goodness

  19. Psalms 106:1 & 45
    1) PRAISE ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
    45) And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

This chapter is about a MERCIFUL God towards His people who…
provoked Him, forgot Him, angered Him, lusted, envied, believed not, murmured, committed idolatry, etc…
BUT when He heard their cry, He had MERCY on them.
If it wasn’t for the MERCY of God – where would we be today?

Thank You JESUS for YOU ARE GOOD and YOUR MERCY ENDURES FOREVER!!

  20. 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

I’m asked at times how I got to where I am today and begin telling them I didn’t receive blessings until I started living for God…let me say it like this… I didn’t start receiving blessing until I started living WITH God. Everyday I’m led by him to do what’s right and studying his word on how to live and what to do and what not to do. 9-10 if we’re getting any kind of conviction it’s wrong to do. So if you want blessing to rain upon you just do what’s right and if you have to question anything you’re doing chances are it’s no good.

    God bless you guys!

  21. 3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Amen! I believe this is so true!! I never want to do anything that is not right upon the eyes of God! I fear the Lord and I don’t want to be cursed in doing my own will. One thing that I have learned these past 3 years at POFW is to always stay under the covering so you can be blessed. Yes God will bring forth tests and go through trials and tribulations but it’s okay. We just have to remember who we are serving and what we are doing this for!! I look past 3 years and we pretty much lost it all the last 3 years house, jobs, cars, finances, all the material things. But despite all that God has brought us out and blessed us with Goshen!!! Its rewarding when you do the will of God!!! Despite all the material things that we lost, I have seen my family grow deeper with God and God has kept us healthy, strong, and fixed my marriage!!! When you focus on God, he does the rest!!!

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33

  22. 37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

A love between a parent and a child is truly great, most parents will do most anything to protect their child. The Israelites were willing to sacrifice their own children, they were willing to sacrifice that love all for devils and gods that never would be able to prove themselves deserving of any sacrifice. If they were willing to go that far, how much further are we willing to go for the God that has proved Himself more than worthy enough? The God we serve is not asking us to sacrifice our families or friends, in fact He sacrificed Himself for our sake and all He asks in return is a sacrifice of our time and our praise!

  23. 21 They forgot God, their savior, who had done such great things in Egypt.

    4 Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

Jesus is so good to me! Lord dont ever forget where you brought me from. I dont ever want to taje tour goodness for granted.
Jesus I’ll never forget what you done for me
Jesus I’ll never forget how you set me free
Jesus I’ll never forget how you brought me out…Noooo Never!

  24. Sometimes we have short memory that God got us out of past circumstances and will get us out of present circumstance.

The children of Israel were just like us
They soon forget what he had done….They forgot the God who saved them, who had done great things in Egypt.
    Psalm 106:13, 21

I Chronicles 16:12 urges us to “Remember the wonders God has done.” We have all those times when God breaks through to our awareness like a bright spotlight!

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth:

  25. 14 In the wilderness their desires ran wild, testing God’s patience in that dry wasteland.

While in the wilderness their desires ran wild. They felt freedom, no authority to follow, no rules and do as you want mentality. When their is no authority all discipline goes out the window. This is an example for the importance of having God, a Pastor, and a father figure in our lives.

  26. I LOVE TO WORSHIP THE LORD
Gods people failed to respond to him despite His miraclous works for them after calling for Israel to praise the Lord by confessing the nations historic faults and failures the confessional prayersw ends with an appeal for diliverance.

  27. 37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

I read article that a isis member in Syria Sacrificed his daughters for suicide missions in the name of Allah. For years and years they have tried to mimic the was of God but never can. Unless they accept Jesus Christ. They will shed their blood across the world.

  28. Be Thankful for your Man of God

    21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Thank you Jesus for my Man of God. God has sent our Pastor in our lives to help convey God’s Word to his people. We dont know what Pastor has prayed for us, in so many situations. How God has called him to pray in the early morning hours, to pray on our behalf. What has Pastor’s petitions, kept us from? The wrath of God, for maybe pastor to ask God, To let them have one more chance? Young people- I say this, Pastor Watts has gone through so many things that we will not have to face alone, because he already went through them. As a leader in the youth ministry I have gone through things that you have not gone through yet. Reach out to the leaders around you. God has called those leaders in your life for a reason and purpose. We pray for you and your souls. That God would keep and protect you. Be thankful for your man of God.

  29. It doesn’t matter how many times we failed Him, His mercies enderth forever!
“Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭118:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭100:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭1:50‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.”
    ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  30. 1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

This should be our praise every morning…his Mercy endureth forever. Every day…let our mouths utter this phrase and remind us of who is on our side.

  31. Hannah: “1 Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.” Through every joy and every tribulation he is always there by your side. Praise him through every situation for who he is and everything he has done. Do not let what people say get in the way of your praise for him. All of us need to push everything away and give it to God. My desire is that I will always continue to praise him and give him thanks for everything he has done for the rest of my life. His mercy endureth forever and I am so thankful to serve the One True Living God.

  32. Reading of the children of Isreal and the decisions that they made and the consequences or blessings thereof have taught me much throughout my life! Those times of hardship were often at times when they turned away from God. It isn’t a coincidence. If we stay true to God and what He would have us to do, then it will be reflected in the blessings and favour of God in our lives. Yes, we will go through trials, but it is alright because God’s glory will be shown through it! It is in those times that the children of Isreal turned away from good and lived in iniquity that they suffered greatly at the hands of their adversaries.  If you stay true to God then He will always be there when you need Him. He will be there to lift you up when you are down and He will be there when you are rejoicing. There is nothing too small or too big for him, so don’t get discouraged when the going gets rough, because as Pastor Watts said tonight, just praise Him! He will bring you through and will teach you through the trial to praise no matter what! Praise ye the Lord!!

  33. The word “yet” is such a small word but what a huge difference it makes on our destiny. From the beginning of God’s relationship with the people he created, they have rebelled against his will and run from his love. Yet he pursues us, preserves us and blesses us and

    • ….saves us. Why? Because our future is wrapped up in his will. By his mercy for us he keeps us. ” For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for our sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich” (2Co 8:9)

  34. 13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

They Lord has not failed anyone nor will he. His words are true and he does not lie. How can we forget what he has done for us. Where he brought us from? What troubled he calmed and brought blessing over. Somehow we get so accustomed to the way of life and blessing that when another test comes our flesh jumps and wait not for his counsel. What are you trying to show me God? That should be our prayer…for we know according to the scriptures that the trying of our faith worketh patience (James 1:3)

  35. 36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

What is it we are serving that is a distraction or hindrance from our spiritual growth? LORD, search me! Search my family! Where can we better serve You, LORD?

  36. 9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness

Only fools would go into uncharted waters by themselves. Someone who has been there before should guide them. The children of Israel would have been on a suicide mission if they would have gone into the Red Sea by themselves without God guiding them. When Ezekiel went into the waters he was lead of God all the way into the deep. The deep is waiting on us, but we have to hear the voice of God to lead us. If not we won’t know what to do when we get there. People will drown. Pastor can’t go any deeper until we all are in unity and ready to dive in. I’m ready to go into the deep!

  37. 47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Let’s praise Jesus like He already took us out of our storm during our storm..

  38. 48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Let all the people say Amen. Amen. Blessed be God from everlasting to everlasting, may all the people praise him evermore. I learn to praise him from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same and his praise continually be in my mouth.

  39. 19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.

    21 They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

This was me; worshipping all that stood against what GOD stands for. I would do everything to avoid that which was the right thing to do. I knew that I was being called, but I didn’t want any part of it. GOD was not on my mind. I wanted to be me and do what I could just for others to notice me. Now I want GOD to increase in my life and me to decrease from the world. I thank the LORD everyday that I don’t have the desires of the world any more. I want to be pleasing to GOD; not man.

48 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

  40. It is sometimes the introductory statements that give such pause to reflect. ‘Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?’ We praise him for his goodness and yet how much more of that goodness goes unknown and unseen. Can we ever truly understand the mighty acts of God? We see the works of his hand and rejoice and yet how much greater will that rejoicing be in heaven when our eyes are truly opened to all he has done!

Until that day, I’ll remember that ‘Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times. Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people’ since he had already given his salvation. I don’t want to lose out like so many of the children of Israel. I want to be one of those that continue to press toward the mark ‘That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.’ That is my ultimate desire! Regardless of what God may need to do in my life to prepare me for that day, O let my soul be willing! I want to meet those who God has chosen to build his heavenly nation! I want to be a part of those that give glory to his name forever!

After remembering all that God has done, I want my cry to be in agreement with that final declaration of this Psalm, ‘Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.’ Triumph through praise from everlasting to everlasting! Amen!

  41. Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.
    (Psalms 106:3 KJV)

God bless his people when they are honest and seek His justice. He blesses those who does righteously when it’s easy and in the midst of trials.

  42. 37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
40 Therefore was the wrath of the Lord kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

All this evil, and yet the Lord had mercy on his people – whom at one point was going to destroy. Thank God for his mercy that endures forever.
