Psalm 110

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

  1. Psalm 110

1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

Tho we are surrounded by the enemy every day we have a sword that will lead us right through . The word we feed upon each morning will equip us for what is ahead of us. We must find our strength in the midst of the Word and prayer . God will raise up a strength you never knew existed but you must be willing to be fully equipped. Fully prepared. Preparation takes time for any challenge you face. So daily we must come into His presence . Daily equipping our minds , our hearts our attitudes saturated in His Love , in His Peace. Yes the enemy surrounds oh but we have a source of power that will defeat the enemy. We have to keep our minds clothed in His word not letting anything anyone mislead you into a trap. There are many traps thrown out to try to get us off the course but if we have clothed , equipped ourself for the day we will see them and be able to walk right over them without any hesitation for we Go in the power of the Holy Ghost!
Yes He will make the enemies our footstools and we will have a strength that goes beyond human understanding.
    His Strength is Perfect

  2. This chapter is captioned “The Lord Gives Victory” in the CEV. 1 Corinthians 15:57 CEV says “But thank God for letting our Lord Jesus Christ give us the victory!:” Psalm 60:11 CEV says “Help us defeat our enemies! No one else can rescue us.” Deuteronomy 20:4 CEV says “The Lord your God will fight alongside you and help you win the battle.” Same verse NLT says “For the Lord your God is GOing with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

  3. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

  4. 1. The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

When your enemies are your footstool, they are under your feet while you are sitting down. So, whether you are marching in war, trampling them down or relaxing with your feet propped up, your enemies belongs under your feet.

  5. The enemies are under my feet, the enemies are under my feet, the enemies are under my feet, the enemies are inner my feet……..

  6. Get ready, God is about to do something.

1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

We as the children of the most high. We get to sit at our fathers right hand. And as a good father would do, he will fight for his children with everything he has. When we are hurting our father want to make it better. Our heavenly Father is the same. When we are hurting he wants to help us. Our enemies don’t stand a chance, when it co.es to our heavenly Father. Us , as his children will always have a place at the table. Young people-don’t I’ve said it a thousand time or more to you. Keep the faith and give it all to God. He will fight for you. You just have to trust in him and believe in him. Praise your way through. Pray your way through. Believe your way through.

  7. GO LEAD CHURCH

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

There is a call of GOD to HIS church (Zion) to rule or LEAD in the midst of enemies. In these last days it is time for the church to LEAD others to JESUS and be timid, intimidated or fearful of this world and or its system. The psalmist shared this revelation and belief for and with us.

    Thy “ROD” comforts me.
Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

We are blessed with the rod of GOD out of Zion.

ROD – 4294. matteh, mat-teh´; a branch (as extending); figuratively, a tribe; also a rod, whether for chastising (figuratively, correction), ruling (a sceptre), throwing (a lance), or walking (a staff; figuratively, a support of life, e.g. bread):—rod, staff, tribe.

    The AMP version reads.
2 The Lord will send the scepter of Your strength from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of Your enemies.”

The scepter indicates authority. Zion indicates the church.

    Barnes’ Notes on the Bible

The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion – The scepter of thy power; that with which thou shalt rule. It will be given to thee by Yahweh; and it will be given to thee, as it were, “out of Zion;” that is, as proceeding from the church, and as derived from that. It will be an appointment connected with the church, and will be “as if” the church had conferred it on thee. The idea is, that the Messiah would receive, as it were, his designation, authority, commission, power from the church. He would spring from it Isaiah 11:1; would act for it; would do what was needful for its good; would wield the power which properly belongs to the church on the earth. Compare the notes at Psalm 2:9.

Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies – Set up thy power over them, and reign in them. This is a commission to set up a kingdom “in the very midst” of those who were his enemies; in the hearts of those who had been and were rebellious. His kingdom is set up not by destroying them, but by “subduing” them so that they become his willing servants. They yield to him, and he rules over them. It is not here a commission to cut them off, but one much more difficult of execution – to make them his friends, and to dispose them to submit to his authority. Mere “power” may crush people; it requires more than that to make rebels willingly submissive, and to dispose them voluntarily to obey.

Lets GO LEAD this lost world to JESUS in the midst of adversity.

  8. Psalm 110:1-3 MSG The word of God to my Lord:
“Sit alongside me here on my throne
until I make your enemies a stool for your feet.”
    You were forged a strong scepter by God of Zion;
now rule, though surrounded by enemies!
Your people will freely join you, resplendent in holy armor
on the great day of your conquest,
Join you at the fresh break of day,
join you with all the vigor of youth.

There are days when the battle rages that we need to remember to WHOM we belong. We need to remember that He promise to put our enemies as our foot stool. When the battle rages look around you for you are NOT ALONE, for Jesus your Lord is on your side and the battalion of POFW is lifting you uplease in prayer and willing to stand by you in battle by HIS POWER!

  9. Psalms 110:3 (the Voice)
“Your people will come as volunteers that day; they will be a sight to see; on that day, you will lead your army, noble in their holiness. As the new day dawns and dew settles on the grass, your young volunteers will make their way to you.”

    “I Hear an ARMY ARISING!”

  10. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Sitting at the right hand (power) of the Lord is where we can find our answers and our peace in the midst of the storms of life. Psalms 23 tells us “He preparesth a table before me, in the presence of mine enemies…”

He can bring us through whatever situation we may face, we just have to be still and sit and his feet, and let Him fight our battles. If God be for us, who or what can be against us? Nothing!!!

  11. The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.
    Psalms 110:5 NLT

God will be with us in every way he will stand against our enemies what great God we serve

  12. iLove to Go Blog
Psalms 110:3 KJV  Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

Wow. just reading over this verse quickly without meditating on it one could possibly miss out on the great revelation of it. “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power…” Wow, think about that for a moment. The thing about it is, a lot of people are not really willing to do much when they see weakness. Think about it…if the police were weak and just let folks speed down the freeways without stopping them, how many folks would be willing to follow the law. But when law enforcement pull folks over and through the power of the system write you a $200 ticket…That’s when folks become more “willing” to follow the law. The same applies to God. When people think God is weak, they are less willing to sacrifice time, talent, and treasure.

  13. 6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

I cant even comprehend in my mind how all this is going to play out, Judgment, and either eternal life, or eternal hell fire! HELP ME LORD!

  14. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

After discussing these verses it was brought to my attention That as God makes my enemies my footstool as said in verse 1. In verse two God is still going to do it through me. For The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion. So God will make our enemies our footstool and as according to his nature still use us to do so.

  15. Psalm 110:3 ( English Amp) Your people will offer themselves willing in a day of Your power, in the beauty of holiness and in holy array out of the womb of the morning; to You [will spring forth] Your young men, Who are as the dew. I see the young men and the young women that will sacrific More time for Jesus.l also see a army arising up in church.

  16. 2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

There is power in the name of Jesus, that’s my rod when I feel like I’m under attack

  17. Josiah: 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
The right hand of the Lord is the hand of strength. Notice how it says “Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” First need to get our strength renewed at church, or Zion, and then “2 The Lord shall send the rod of THY strength out of Zion:” Once we get our strength renewed we can “rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.” We can overcome our enemies. So, let us first get our strength renewed, or given, from God, at Church, so that we can GO OVERCOME! LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE YE THE LORD!

  18. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
God wants a willing vessel to be used by him for his glory and his glory alone. If we submit ourselves to him and those that he has placed in authority over us and are obedient to his will; mighty works will be done, souls will be brought to this salvation message and we will be blessed to be able to see what God is doing!!

  19. A messianic prophesy that we can learn from ourselves as well! Jesus quoted this passage to confound those who would question him. If the Messiah is the son of David, then why would David call him Lord? They could not answer but we have been given that revelation today! Because Jesus was God manifest in the flesh… the actual Lord of David and all the rest of his creation!

Interestingly enough he points to the very hang up of Israel that is so true today: ‘Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.’ Everyone is willing in the day of power, but what about the season of suffering? Israel ignored the prophecies of the suffering Messiah and failed to recognize him in their very midst. O Lord, do not allow my eyes to be blinded by the same. Allow my soul to always be willing to respond in obedience even when my eyes cannot see the end of the work you are trying to accomplish in my life.

Let me remember the example of the Savior! That rod of authority and strength came right out of Zion! I don’t need to go anywhere else to receive his strength and authority for my life. And when he provides it, I’m not expected to remain in hiding… I can go forth right out in the midst of mine enemies with the expectation of victory in Jesus name! When those rivers of living water flow in my life allow me to also lift up mine head in the beauty of holiness! We don’t need to be downcast in the face of the enemy. Let us go forth with the confidence which arises from that inner strength of his spirit and allow his light to shine true and bright!

  20. Hannah: “1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” The Lord shall make my enemies my footstool. That means all those people coming against the Lord shall not prevail. He has everything in control and all we need to do is place it on his shoulders. He is always by your side and all you need to do is follow him. He will take care of your situation if you place your trust and faith in him. This verse is a good reminder to me that you should never try to do things your own way because the Lord’s ways are far greater and higher.

  21. 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

I found it interesting this is another place were we see “beauty of holiness”There is something naturally beautiful about striving to be holy like Jesus is holy. Our lives should seek to be more like Christ everday.

  22. many people accept God or belief him only to be a good teacher and only a teacher in story’s in a book they heard called the bible as a kid , But in fact he is not only a teacher cause in this psalm it clearly says he is Lord .

Redemption here means freeing from captivity by a price.
    That ultimate price was Jesus.
All people were being held captive by there own sins until Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for all sins .
He was the perfect sacrifice , he was the Lamb sacrificed for the whole world . people are now aloud to enter to the holy place without a sacrifice and Jesus was the ultimate sacrificed now all sinners and believers can come to the Lord.

  23. I LOVE TO WORSHIP THE LORD
The Messiah is exalted as Lord bty the Lord and his royal victory predicted at the samr time he is introduced as a priest not of Aarons line but after the order of Melchizedek it is to him Gods King-priest that the Lord will give victory

  24. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

We know God is in control and that our enemies are under our feet. God is my strength and comforter he brings me out of any situation.

  25. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

No matter how weak we may feel..the Lord fights our battles. It is by his strength that we are able to fight off every enemy and darts of the devil. There’s a balance of Pride and humility of knowing that the Lord fights our battles and is our strength

  26. The beauty of holiness

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

We had a great men’s meeting yesterday at my house. The Bible says it is good when brothers dwell together in unity. But the thing that stick out most was when brother Jackson talked about how his house was a sanctuary. He knows that his children will encounter wicked things out in the world but those things will not be in his home. Jesus said I’m in the world but not of the world. This doesn’t mean he was an alien 👽. This is an example of being separate or Holy. The beauty is in the peace that holiness or separation gives you in your home. If you are struggling with peace in your home it is more than likely directly associated with the level of separation or holiness in your home. When a family deprecated themselves into God it gives them power. If two or more are gathered in my name… this is the believers family unit all the time. It is beiautiful to God when we are separate, when we are his. We are not missing out on the world but we are partaking of Jesus.

  27. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

When we are under His authority He brings us victory over the enemy. The right hand of God is filled with power and He will be our deliverer. He will make our enemies our footstool because they make themselves enemies of God when they rise against us. Praise God for the victory.

  28. 1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

God is a provider! HE not only delivers us in those times of weakness, but he allows that power and strength to overcome the enemy to be with us! He will help us to overcome the enemies, not just as a onetime event, but in such a powerful way that the enemy will be something we will not even have to worry about anymore. When we stay in the power of God mighty things can happen! Nothing is impossible for God! Let us have faith and GO in the power and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord!!

  29. 2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

God has given us authority over our enemies so arise cause it’s praising time!

  30. 4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek

The Lord cannot lie…whatever he has said he will do he will surely make it come to pass.

  31. 2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

It’s in HIS strength that his people will rule, not in human strength. When we let God arise, our enemies will be scattered. We must be the light to those around us, teaching whosoever will His ways.

  32. 2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

The Lord will send the rod of strength out of Zion. We are His church and He has given us dominion over the enemy. It is up to the church to exercise that dominion and activate His Power to work through us. Work through our praise and prayer.

  33. 4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The one that was not born from the right tribe. Had no business being a priest, has become the High Priest.

Just as we were not born right, from the gentiles. We partake in the salvation that belong to the Jews.

  34. “The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭110:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Just sit and watch the Glory of the Lord
