Psalm 125

They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

  1. Do good,O Lord, until those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. May the blessings of God be upon us all.

  2. 2. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, now and forevermore. NET

    Surround me oh Lord
    Surround me oh Lord
    Surround me oh Lord
    Let Your presence
    Fill this place

When you feel alone in your troubles, call out to Jesus and let His presence surround you like a soft, warm blanket on a cold winter’s day.

  3. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

They that trust the Lord….shall be as a mountain. So many things can be said about that. What a mountain stands for, how beautiful they are, but this scripture mentions that they are unmovable and abide forever. The only requirement to be compared to them is to trust Him. Just trusting in the Lord is what makes us mountains. It doesn’t take anything but trust. Letting God be God in your life and allowing whatever he let’s happen bc you know he has your back. That’s what it takes to be as a mountain

  4. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

I remember when I didn’t know Jesus how everything seemed to fall apart in my life. Nothing stuck, nothing worked out the way it was suppose to. I was living a very unholy life and nothing would work out. But as soon as I put all my selfish desires aside and gave my life to God things started working out in miraculous ways. He was just waiting for me, patiently and lovingly. Standing to correct me when I was in the wrong and blessing me when I finally would do right. When I was baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost and delivered of so many afflictions how my life totally transformed is nothing short of a miracle. Praise to my God, my Strength, my Redeemer.

  7. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
When you fully trust God and the adversary comes and approaches you, you won’t budge. You’re like a mountain you won’t be moved, trusting in God and abiding by everything he wants us to do. The Bible is the instruction manual for this temporary time we have on earth. Once we learn to trust God and (that means the word of God) we are secured a spot in Heaven forever, so the goal is eternal victory with God not to choose carnal lifestyles.

  8. 1 Those who trust in and rely on the Lord [with confident expectation]
Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever. (AMP)

Well, well, well…those with “confident expectation.” I’d say that’s interchangeable with high expectation. So yet another promised blessing for us to receive if we trust and put our high, confident expectation in; the Lord will set us up strong and protected.

  9. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

I am struggling to write a comment, So ill just say, its hard for me to trust anybody, but im learning everyday that trusting in the Lord is different than the trust i have in my husband or any other person.

5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

    Proverbs 14:12
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” We must follow the word of God and not lean to our own understanding.

  12. Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as mount Zion;
They will not be defeated but will endure forever.
    Psalms 125: 1 NLT

What a wonderful scripture this Monday morning, to start the day with a high spectation. We are more than conquerors, we are victorious, we are mighty and FREE . In Jesus name I declare this day my independence from this world. Let’s go in Jesus name and be the light of this world.

  14. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

We must resist the ways of the world even if it appears the wicked are prospering. God will protect us but we must be faithful and patient.

  15. Psalms 125:1 (AMP)
“Those who trust in and rely on the LORD (with confident expectation) Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever.”

One commentary says, “The closer our expectations are confined to God, the higher our expectations may be raised.”
The more we TRUST and RELY on the LORD, the GREATER our FAITH is.
Eph. 3:20 says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
So, how HIGH is your EXPECTANCY LEVEL today?

  16. Psalm 125

1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

A mountain tall and strong. Unmovable, even in th amidst of the treacherous storms. Lord I trust in You today. Today is the day You have made and You will be right by our side. Strength comes from You. In my weakest moments You have been present and You have been the strength of my heart. Thank You. For in my weakness yYou are made strong. There is no-one else like You and I will tell the world of your glorious ways. I do trust in You and I will do my best to continue to trust. You know the beginning and You know the ending. And You are holding the in between in your grand hands of strength. Thank You.

    Your Strength is Perfect

  17. PROTECTED

1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

Mountains are FIXED places, that cannot be removed. Our LORD JESUS has promised to surround us as the mountains to protect us if we will TRUST in HIM.

TRUST – 1a : assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something
b : one in which confidence is placed
2a : dependence on something future or contingent : hope

As we continue to establish and develop our TRUST in the LORD our HOPE is found evident in HIM, we establish ourselves as the people HE will cover and protect.

  18. 3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

This is the reason that Balaam used this principle against the Israelites when he couldn’t curse them as king Balak requested (Numbers 24). Three times he trying and came out unsuccessful and learned that as long as they were under the protection of their God he couldn’t touch them with s curse. It’s only if the children of God leave their covering willingly that they will fall prey to curses and death.

  19. 1. Those who trust in and rely on the Lord [with confident expectation]
Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but remains forever. AMP

I believe in order to have HIGH & CONFIDENT Expectation, we must fully trust and rely on the Lord. Let’s challenge ourselves, to express HIGH Expectation with a confidence and trust and The Lord.
    Has He ever failed you?

  20. 5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

It is a good practice to check our spirit daily and see if we be of the faith. Do we really trust the Lord, or do we only trust Him when we see the benefit? He sees all and knows all and knows our end from the beginning. He sees things we don’t see, thus we could perceive our path as unsure at times because we don’t know where it’s heading. Take courage God is not finished with any of us, as long as we are striving for perfection, striving to please Him with our thoughts and actions, He will lead us on the straight path.

Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:But we can be confident of this thing”

  21. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
I believe and trust on a high expecting level that God going heal my body
Expecting to see my family save
I am expecting to see all my deaf at friends church receiving the Holy Ghost and getting baptized in the name of Jesus
I believe there going be a deaf Ministry rising up in the pofw
In the Name of JESUS I Believe that will happen I am expecting it to happen

  22. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
Those that trust in him shall be stable and strong. But those who dont trust him will be unstable. The bible tell us that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways so we must keep our trust in the Lord.

  23. iLove to Go Blog
“The wicked will not rule the land of the godly, for then the godly might be tempted to do wrong.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭125:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It’s very important to put Godly folks into leadership positions . The scripture above declares if the wicked are in authority then it will cause others to live ungodly lives.

  24. Salmo-125:1 Los que confían en Jehová son como el monte de Sion, que no se mueve, sino que permanece para siempre.

  25. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

I will trust in you lord forever and ever! I lean on you lord!

  26. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

May I continuely trust in the Lord, so that I can abide forever with him. That I may be surrounded by his glory and protection. The Lord is my rock and my defense, a mighty fortress. I am thankful evermore that he surrounds my life and directs its paths in his ways.

  27. Think about the magnitude of the promise in this verse: ‘They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even forever.’ We recognize the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church but the psalmist declares that same assurance to those who trust in God. His protection is like the mountains that surround Jerusalem.. a city which had not been conquered prior to the Israelites coming into the land and even then betrayal from within greatly eased the price of that victory.

I desire the kind of walk that declares eternity with God! A walk in faith with the assurance of his hand upon my steps each day! I want my voice to join together with the psalmist: ‘Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.’ Let my trust be strong enough to be seen by the choiceI make to do good

  28. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

  29. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Those that trust in the Lord cannot be removed from His presence! They are set in His ways and cannoit be moved!

  30. Psalm126: 4 (English Amp) Do good, O Lord, to those who are good , and to those who are right [ with You and all people] in their hearts. Do good for the Lord , Trust in him ,Lean on the Lord for his understanding, Not your own understanding. The more that you learn and trust in the Lord it will build our Faith up. Follow the Lord footsteps. Follow his word. Do want his word says. Obey his word. Learn more about Jesus . You never get enough of him and you will never stop learning about him. Go and Grow with Jesus.

  31. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

We must not allow our trust in God to waiver. Follow him and learn his teachings. Know that he will.never leave you. That he is always with you in everything. He is the Lord of host. He is the king of kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the way makes and anchor in the storm. He is all that we need.

    #GODOSOMETHING

  32. 4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.

Every action has a reaction or it’s consequence. We shall definitely reap what we sow. If we want the blessings of God we need to sow seeds of righteousness.

  33. 4 Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

My God is “Perfectly Great” in all his blessing, ways, and words. For he does good to a righteous man, and a good man. You can do many good things, but if you have no love with your actions none of what you have done matters without love, and my God blesses and good heart. Thank you Jesus!

  34. “They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭125:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we trust God we are set firm like a mountain. We are unmovable. Our faith makes us trust and stand firm in our God. The faith level rises, higher and higher. We are highly expecatant and will stay that way because we trust in the Lord!

  35. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Truly trusting in the Lord is tested when you don’t know what to do or how things are going to turn out. Anyone can trust when everything is going righ; money is on the account, everyone’s healthy, no one is talking bad about you, everyone around you has a great attitude about life etc… but when it all turns on you and life happens, who will trust in God then? Job had his trust tested to the max and he never blamed God or quit trusting him. Job was as this scripture declares unmovable, indominatable to his accusers and trusting the Lord every step of the way. We all hold the same promise as Job, if we hold fast and always trust in the Lord and give him the glory that is due his name in every situation then we shall see the double blessing as well. Bro Smith preaches ” Double for your trouble” and I believe it. We are getting ready for some double because I’m not going to stop trusting the Lord!

  36. 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Amen! Many things come our way but cannot move me and take me like the waves from side to side because I am standing on the promises of God my savior!!! His Word abide forever and never lies!!! You are my rock Lord!!

  37. They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.(Psalms 125:1 KJV)

We live in a world with chaos and tragedy and whenever trails come our way we can trust in the Lord. He will never be removed but is our strong foundation on which we stand.

  38. Josiah: 1 They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.
Good is Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end. When trust in the Lord we can be built upon the rock and when storms, or trials may come we can still stand.1 John 2:17 says “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but He that doeth the will of God abideth forever.” God is our strength. He alone can save us. So, let us GO fearlessly because if God is for us who can stand against us? LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE YE THE LORD!
