Psalm 126

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

  1. Rejoice and be blessed. Today we celebrate freedom . We are free to celebrate freedom because God gave it to us. The lord has done great things We are glad. I thank God for a beautiful word . Happy independence day .

  2. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.
    Psalms 126:6 NLT
Yes LORD send you harvest we hugry and thirsty for you we’re patient waiting for you we want you
    LORD we will wait
    We been praying
    We been soling
    We been fasting
    Send the rain

  3. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
I will praise the Lord today for freeing me from sin. From doing what I thought was impossible, when I was filled with the Holy Ghost that was enough to keep me going every day. God showed me his miraculous ways that day.
Thank God for freedom and breaking every chain that was holding me down.

  4. This chapter is captioned “Celebrating the Harvest” in the CEV. Verses 4-6 CEV say “Our Lord, we ask you to bless our people again, and let us be like streams in the Southern Desert. We cried as we went out to plant our seeds. Now let us celebrate as we bring in the crops. We cried on the way to plant our seeds, but we will celebrate and shout as we bring in the crops.” It is time to work together (POFW) and GO, celebrating as we bring in the harvest of Fort Worth. 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 CEV says “Apollos and I are merely servants who helped you to have faith. It was the Lord who made it all happen. I planted the seeds, Apollos watered them, but God made them sprout and grow. What matters isn’t those who planted or watered, but God who made the plants grow. The one who plants is just as important as the one who waters. And each one will be paid for what they do. Apollos and I work together for God, and you are God’s garden and God’s building.”

  5. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy

Sow in tears….reap in joy. What we yearn for, stay awake at night for, cry and plead the blood and work our fingers to the Bone in is not unseen by our heavenly Father and is rewarded especially when it’s things that we seek for his kingdom sake. There is nothing done for the kingdom of God that shall not have it’s rewards. He is a rewarder to them that seek him. The things we press for the most (kingdom minded) are the things we will eventually push through and see happen. This is about His kingdom…not ours. let’s GO and SOW

“They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Wow, sowing the Word of God can be painful. Studying and listening to the voice of God in the midst of a chaotic world and allowing the Spirit of God to flow through a minister can be quite taxing on him. Preaching the true Word of God with passion is not easy, but seeing the fruit of harvest is surely worth it. Boom

  7. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Hallelujah, He has made me glad and I will rejoice because He is so good!

  8. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

  9. Psalms 126:1-3 (AMP)
    1) When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion (Jerusalem), We were like those who dream (it seemed so unreal).
    2) Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
    3) The LORD has done great things for us; We are glad!

    This reminded me of Backsliders.
We (POFW) have had 2 prophetic words spoken to us about Backsliders coming back to church. When it happens (and it will), we will be filled with Laughter and Joyful Shouting for the Great Things God has done.

    GOD Is Doing GREAT THINGS!
    WE Are GLAD!!

  10. 1 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

These are the sounds of freedom. Whether it is the prodigal that returns home or from the harvest, rejoicing will fill the atmosphere and be the sounds we hear. Thank you Lord for the latter rain!

  11. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

We Work, and sometimes it just isn’t enough when we do it on our own! But we trust in God and and give our tithes and offerings, we are still struggling but were still obedient, the situation may drive us to tears, but God turns the whole situation to Joy, he turns it around so now we are reaping with JOY, No more Tears, but JOY, Im so grateful for Joy! UNSPEAKABLE Joy! Its only been six months and I can say her name and see her face and not break down, because God is a God of Joy,
and his word says Psalms 30: 5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
    THANK YOU JESUS!

    Joy Joy, Gods great Joy,
Joy Joy, Down in my soul
    sweet beautiful soul saving joy

  12. GO WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

We will witness seasons and situations in our lives that will cause us pain, sorrow and grief. Throughout the WORD of GOD we witness the testimony of men and women in perilous times of their life and how through their obedience to the WORD, SPIRIT and or MAN of GOD they would GO WITH HIGH EXPECTATIONS and they would doubtless come again REJOICING.

Do not quit before your REJOICING season. Keep going with JESUS. Through the pain, through the tears, keep sowing in FAITH. NO DOUBT we will come again with barn busting, bank breaking, heaven opened harvest.

  13. The mission of the enemy is to preoccupy our minds with the things of this world. Let’s not be confined to this world, but Set our minds to the things above and GO with greatest spectation, believing that the Lord would do great things among us for his glory.

  14. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

We must not despise the season of “weeping” because we have the promise that it will bear fruit. Everything in life is a process, sometimes the process takes much longer that we would like or even expect. But sees the heart and knows us and knows how long for each season of our lives. We must learn to bloom where we are planted, bloom in what season we are planted, so that each season is productive in our lives.

  15. I Love To Worship The Lord
After hoping and praying to be released for 70 years the people of Israel got to go home
What seemed to be a hopeless situation proved to be nothing short of a miracle
You can judge for your self. Sometimes when we are in a trial or test that last a long time and circumstances worsen and we come out of it I wonder sometimes more dramatic the response is THANK YOU JESUS FOR PULLING US OUT OF LONG OR WORSING SITUATION SO WE CAN WORSHIP AND PRAISE YOU

  16. 1 When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

4 Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.

5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

I may be down but im not out because Joy comes in the morning!! God has been too good to me!

  17. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Sometimes it seems that we try not to cry or “sow” tears because of the pain that we feel. However it appears that a prerequisite to receiving joy is to first sow in tears. So dont discount the tears that you cry. Dont try to hide the pain that you feel. Just know that if we weep we will doubtless come again rejoicing!

  18. Psalm126:5-6 (English Amp) They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing.(6) He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [ at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing shall doubtless come again with rejoicing , bringing his sheaves with him. This were we are planting the seed of God’s word to others . My tears from my heart comes from me when I pray for other’s. Of course when you are in pain your going to cry because it hurts, But God will heal your hurt. But rejoice when backslidders are coming home, When new babies are being born again and receiving the Holy Ghost, Praise the Lord for he is so good.

  19. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

God truly provides for His people! There are literally so many things that we can thank God for! Even for those trials He lets us go through. For even in those hard times we can see the hand of God moving in our lives and shaping us how He wants us to be. Even if it seems like the trials and weeping will never end we can rejoice and praise God for we know that He will bring us through! There is always dawn at the end of night! Praise the Lord!!

” Sing unto the Lord , O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.  For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.  And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.   Lord , by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.” – Psalms 30:4‭-‬7

  20. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

God had turned my mourning into dancing. Trust in him and he will direct your path.

  21. We read of the captivity of the children of Israel and perhaps don’t quite feel like we relate to their plight today. When you consider the typology of the world as it relates to God’s people however, there is so much in common! When they describe the feeling they had when God relieved then of their captivity, they said it was like they were in a dream. They had only imagined how it could feel not to be in bondage. They couldn’t help but laugh and sing of what the Lord has done for them! They recognized God had done great things and they were so glad to have experienced it themselves! How similar does that sound to a new convert as they first escape the bondage of the world and experience the special touch of the move of God in their life. Not just anyone’s life, not just anyone’s testimony, but knowing that God has moved and spoken into them!

It’s interesting when you consider the powerful transformation of God’s hand upon a convert’s life and how effective their exuberance can be in reaching others, that the captives of Zion had this to say: ‘They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.’ What can we truly do to repay God for all he has done for us? The answer is of course, we can’t… but how better to thank him and please him than sharing ourselves with someone else that they also might have the opportunity to experience God for themselves!

  22. Hannah: ” 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” In times where it seems as if you are getting nowhere after you keep trying, never give up. The Lord’s plans are far better than you ever could have imagined and in the end it will exceed further than you ever thought it will be. Always place your trust in God and always keep walking in his path. His ways are far greater and his ways are far past our understanding. He always has a way for you to go and the reward at the end is great. Always place your full trust in the Lord.

  23. Josiah: 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
Nommatter how many people may reject invites to church, or how many seeds may fall on bad ground we should still keep trying. We may not even see the fruits of our seeds planted, or growth of seeds we plant, but eventually we “shall reap in joy.” Who knows? Someone who may of gotten an invitation card and tossed it in a drawer to collect dust might be the guest at church a few years down the road. Every bit helps in the kingdom of God and if we just be faithful and keep on casting seeds we will eventually get our reward. So, let us GO FAITHFULLY! LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE YE THERE LORD!

  24. 3. The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
Jesus always works everything out. It may seem as if we are left alone and without a direction but He is right there guiding our steps. Having that precious measure of faith to trust Him especially when we cannot see and do not understand how things will work out only draws us closer to Him. He will always provide, never abandon, and ever protect!!

  25. Praise the Lord for the great things that has been done in our lives. If it wasn’t for the Lord who was on our side, we would not be here today. God is great and greatly to be praised.

  26. 2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

Thank you Lord for laughter that fills my heart. You ways are so beautiful your love ever reaching. Thank you for freedom to sing and worship You. You have done great things and my faith is High in Expectations !

  27. Turn again our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south.

5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Set us free again, revive us again… seems like that is the cry. One that seeks revival. Seems like personal revival comes before the harvest. Any farmer or agricultural worker would affirm that laboring the fields is hard work but their return is a harvest that brings joy.

  28. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Sowing is hard work. It not only requires physical labor but emotional as well. Yet we must not put so much focus on how hard it taxing it is because the return is greater than the pain.

  29. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

We stand in the gap and weep tears of intercession for those that are not with us or have fallen away but what great joy we will reap when we see our prayers answered.

  30. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad

This is a for sure. The Lord has and is doing great things for that I should be grateful. Thanks be to God I have breathe and my family and I are healthy. But overall we know Jesus, we are saved and I am blessed for that. Thank you Jesus for everything you have given me!!!

  31. 2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them.

This reminds me of “In your face devil” because when temptation rises to think God won’t do anything for us. When we endure the trials of life then we show he is our source of victory. We will dance and we will sing before and after the victory. The Lord is doing great things!

  32. 5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

The lord will honor our sacrifices! Through pain and heartache. He hears our voices in the midst of trouble. We sow the seed into our family members and friends life, and we ahead our tears for their salvation, and we will soon reap with joy!

  33. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

  34. 3. We shook our heads. All of us were stunned-the Eternal has done remarkable things for us. We were beyond happy, beyond joyful. Voice

It’s great to serve a God who can still stun you with how awesome He is and what He can do!

  35. 3 The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

How true is this verse. God has done great things in our life where with he has made us glad. I pray that great things continue to happen and increase causing more people to come and see our Lord and Saviour.

  36. “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Lord is able to show forth glory through our trials. Things that are difficult for us to walk through become jumping off places for us to have great joy.

Think about the birth of a child. They mother sows in tears through the labor process, but reaps in joy for the rest of the child’s life.

You could also think about tragic loss of a home. Fire and tornados cause damage that is unthinkable. Tears freely flow about the loss of memories and things, but then joy comes when there is a new home again.

We have to remember this cycle when praying for our dear loved ones. What we sow in tears, prayer, we reap in joy, knowledge that God will complete the work that he started in them.
