  7. Oh, praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, you who SERVE at night in the house of the Lord. (3) May the Lord, who made heaven and earth BLESS YOU from Jerusalem. Psalms 134: 1,3 NLT

    PRAISE , SERVE = BLESSING

  8. Oh, praise the Lord , all you servants of the Lord , you who serve at night in the house of the Lord . Lift your hands toward the sanctuary, and praise the Lord . May the Lord , who made heaven and earth, bless you from Jerusalem.
    Psalms 134:1‭-‬3 NLT

Many servants will be in the house of the LORD tonight. I pray the LORD open up the windows of heaven and pour out blessings on these children. I know God has blessed for us. I receive them, in Jesus name.

  9. Josiah: 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
Let us GO PRAISE the Lord! Psalms 67:3 days “Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.” Psalms 47:1 says “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with a voice of triumph.” Psalms 150:4 says “Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs.” It so easy to praise the Lord, we just have to do it. Ecclesiastes 3:4 says there is “A time weep, and a time laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;” But, today it is time to dance, to praise God, clap our hand, and shout with a voice of triumph! So, let us GO PRAISE the LORD! Let us have church! LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD!

  10. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

He raised 4 girls and his mom n law lived in the same house. He pastored a church
Held a full time job, taught Bible Studies, paid the bills, study his Bible every night.
Yet he never spoke anything but good. I believe as a servant of God he was blessing the Lord at all times. Oh that I too would bless the Lord at all times no matter what my daily tasks call me to yet I will bless the Lord at all times and having praises in my mouth continually. In Jesus Name
    His Strength is Perfect

1Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

Wow, this is it! We finally have scripture to prove that Sunday Night Service is biblical. Bless ye the Lord…”which by night ” stand in the house of the Lord. Let’s be biblical and worship the Lord in the sanctuary both morning and night! The Lord wants to bless His people but who will let him?

  14. 1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
I praise the Lord because of who he is I Know when praise goes up blessings are going to rain down so I will praise with a dance praise with all that in me

  15. THE LORD BE WITH YOU

1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

This is what made me fall in love with POFW, how my Hubbie and I would be in awe watching everyone come out of the prayer room, not only was the praise team already praising, they were shouting and already in the realm of praise, not only them but the rest were crying and speaking in tongues and just praising already, their praise was going on BEFORE THE FIRST SONG, they brought Psalms 100 v 4 to life! Not just once, it was every time. Our youth would praise him on the van! I love to praise him! He is our God there is no one like him! Jesus you are the source of my life my strength and the Lover of my Soul! I love you! Jesus help me, I have to get back to my first love!
I BLESS YOU IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!

I should praise GOD always. IT is how I know that I should be always; no matter the circumstance. Praise should be there always. I now see that praising the LORD can turn any situation around. I need to always have praise in my heart and on my mind. GOD knows me and he knows how to heal me through praise.

Shout with joy to the Lord , all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
    Psalms 100:1‭-‬2 NLT

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.
    1 Timothy 2:8 NLT

  17. Psalm 134

1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion

Bless the lord..all my soul and all that is within me bless hos Holy name!! He has done great things! I praise not only for what he has done, or what he is going to do . He is God almighty, he is our creator. He created the heavens and the earth. He is the reason im standing here today him and him alone! Thank you God you are so worthy to be praise!!!

  18. Why is it difficult for some to raise their hands during prayer? Is there shame? Maybe guilt or might it be pride. I have felt all of the above at different times in my life. When God starts pulling on my heart strings I want to surrender but pride, shame and/or embarrassment keeps me from participating. Why does pride reign so heavy? Are we so proud that we cannot admit our frailty and inability to manage and control our lives and action? Pride gets in the way when we allow our own self-worth and self-image to be exalted above God.

Shame gets in the way when we believe our sins are too great for God to forgive. We convict ourselves of how wicked we are and unworthy to stand in the presence of such a loving and Holy God. How can my sins be forgiven? Surely God does not know all that I have done or He would not allow me to stand in His presence. We may feel that we should be “french fried” as Bro Godwin puts it.

Embarrassment is related to shame but in a different way. What will my neighbor think if I raise my hands? They would know that I have been sinning and would likely look down on me. What would my family think if show such submission? They would probably question me as to what I have been doing that would cause me to raise my hands in such a way.

When we are praying or worshiping in any situation we can lift our hands in praise and adoration to God. When we lift our hands to God in prayer or song we are showing God we adore Him and we are saying, “God, I am open to you and a touch of Your presence.” We are worshiping and exalting Him for who He is, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  19. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

When we lift our hands in the sanctuary or just to God in general we’re surrendering ourselves to God. It signifies you giving up and allowing God to have his way with you. In prayer THIS should happen, in order to feel the Holy Ghost we must allow ourselves to receive it. To relax and recieve Gods precious gift. Go in Jesus name with blessing of the Lord being upon you and spread Gods love, his word, his joy. Spread that fire and go back to the basics to get that fire roaring!
I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  21. TLB – 134 Oh, bless the Lord, you who serve him as watchmen in the Temple every night. 2 Lift your hands in holiness and bless the Lord.

Levites were posted to serve as “watchmen” in the temple at night. Their duty was to bless the Lord while on duty. What a job!!

Blessing the Lord should be our nature, our lifestyle, our way of life. Our outlook on life would be totally different if we would take on the nature of the night watchman and bless the Lord at all times, good and bad.

  22. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

This scripture gives everyone permission not to sit on their hands during church and sit still. It releases us to freely worship and lift our hands unto the Lord and rejoice freely!

  23. These verses mean to me that Jesus wants us the body of believers to worship him all the time everyday.
Go in Jesus name Do in Jesus name Amen

  24. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Bless the Lord at all times, but especially in his house! Praise him whether things are going your way or not and he will bless.

  25. Psalms 134:2-3
    2) Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
    3) The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

When Praises GO Up, Blessings Are GOing To Rain Down!
When we lift our hands and Worship, Praise, Glorify, and Honor the LORD, He in return will Bless us.
Bless the LORD and He will Bless you!

  26. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to lift up my hands and give Him praise! Many countries or people don’t have the liberty that I have here to praise and worship Him. I am blessed to have this priveldge, it’s something I want to show my children. That no matter what life throws at us, we need to worship the King of Kings!!! Thank You Jesus!!

  27. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord

Lifting your hands signifies surrenderance so when you lift your hands to God you are surrendering your will to His, you’re putting your trust in Him to take control of your life. Lord I surrender all to You and bless Your Holy name!

  28. 1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

They had church! It is a good thing to GO to church. In our generation, we are falling away from this gospel at an alarming rate. Stay strong my friends. We win in the end. We win now.
Young people- we must be a light to our schools , and if you have a job, there as well. We do not have to bend to the ways of this world. We can stay pure and true to our beliefs. You can DO IT. So let’s #GODOSOMETHING by staying true, pure, and Holy before God.

  29. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

I will bless the Lord at all times for He is good, marvelous, omnipotent, mighty, he’s all these things and more!

  30. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

  31. 1 Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord.

I praise your name God with praises lifted high and my whole heart to you! I pray tonight that you use me God to minister to the kids at VBS and show all my praise I give to you!

  32. An interesting statement by the psalmist: ‘Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.’ We look at that verse today and perhaps immediately relate as our worship services are often conducted at night, as we lift our hands in prayer and praise to God! At the time this Psalm was written however, where the morning and evening sacrifices defined the operation of the temple, they would not have physically stood within the temple at night.

This implies a deeper spiritual significance.. the reference to the night is speaking to those periods of our life when we feel like we’re pressing through the darkness. We don’t really know where everything is going to end and may not even have an end in sight.. it may even feel like the valley of the shadow of death. In those moments, having done all else, we need to choose stand upon the spiritual foundation that God has provided for our life and continue to give him the praise!

Faith is after all, the substance of things not seen! We don’t need to see the answer to know that God will provide. We can stand in the midst of those nights in our lives and continue to lift our hands in praise and prayer to him! We can continue to declare with confidence both for ourselves and in our encouragement of others: ‘The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.’ We can bless the Lord at all times! We have the opportunity both physically and spiritually to lift our hands in the sanctuary and worship!

  33. “Behold, bless and praise the LORD, all servants of the LORD (priests, Levites), Who stand and serve by night in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands to the sanctuary And bless the LORD. May the LORD bless you from Zion, He who made heaven and earth.”
    ‭‭PSALM‬ ‭134:1-3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This passage of scripture reminded me of all the late hours of the night working on VBS. I’m so grateful for Sister Martha Castillo’s and all who have invested for their passion for the children of our neighborhood. They serve and strive for excellence and it shows. The walls in each station will speak to every child. Looking for to Maker Fun Factory.

  34. I Love To Worship The Lord
psalm 133 praises the unity of Gods peoples 134 acknowledges that those who serve of are the most blessed at all

  35. 1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Bless the Lord! As we heard on Sunday, we need to not be afraid to bless one another. If we are unashamed to bless our friends, how much more should we be blessing the Lord! He has done so much for us and His blessings are poured out upon us everywhere we look; what’s a better reason to bless His Name?! We can bless Him anytime, anywhere! Let’s GO and not only bless each other, but bless the name of Lord Jesus!
“Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: “- Psalms 103:1‭-‬2

  36. 1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

There are a couple of things that caught my eye here.

The first is by night. A lot of churches are going to home groups on Wednesday night and no Sundau night service. There is a special blessing from being on the house of the Lord. The apostles went daily. I would think it strange, now that I know better, not to be in church on these nights.

The second was they were standing. The church is suppose to be exuberant and on fire. Not some lay me down to sleep where people start falling out of windows. Let stand in affirmation to the word being spoken and in regard for God.

The last is they were blessing. Pastor preached about blessing folks everywhere you go. I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall be continually in my mouth. The church is suppose to lift God up and edify itself.

  37. 1 Oh, praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, you who serve at night in the house of the LORD.

Thank all those who have labored long hours in the house of God in preparation for VBS. The decorating of the rooms, and now serving the children. Without there commitment to serve, VBS could not happen.

  38. 1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Hallelujah!! Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus! He is high and lifted up. He is wonderful and great. There is no one like our God. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth

  39. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
Lifting up our hands in worship to the king of Kings and Lord of lords because He alone is worthy of all the praise and glory. When we are in the valley low;praising our Jesus sees us through. He alone gives us strength when we feel lost for what to do.He guides and helps us to climb to the mountain top; where all along way we praise his holy name for all that he has brought and will bring us through!!
We must never take for granted the privilege of being able to freely lift our hands in worship and praise unto his name!

  40. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

This reminds me of the first time I went to church at POFW in the south campus. When the alter call was made, I was still in a culture shock and I wasn’t used to being prayed for in the alter.

Bro Morgan came and started praying with me, he told me you have to let it go. I didn’t understand at the time why he was asking me, he pointed out that I was clenching my fist and holding them to my chest. He said that there is something I was holding in, he said open your hands and look at the map and release what you have inside.

It was crazy but I didn’t realize that my body language was reflecting my heart condition. It was the first time that I had got the Holy Ghost in a long while. Thanks Bro Morgan

  41. The word bless in this chapter is…

BARAK means “to kneel down, to bless God as an act of adoration, to salute.”
Psalm 95:6 O come let us worship and bow down; let us kneel (barak) before the Lord our maker.
1Chronicles 29:20 Then David said to all the assembly, “Now bless (barak) the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed (barak) the Lord, the God of their fathers, and bowed low and did homage to the Lord and to the king.
Psalm 34:1 I will bless (barak) the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

It’s a small chapter yet the number of words in this chapter is small compared to the principle found in the it. If we can learn to bless the Lord at all times we would be all right.

  42. Yes! All servants bless the Lord day and night, lifting up hands in the sanctuary znd BLESS THE LORD who made heaven and earth and He blesses us! Thank you Jesus!

134:2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.
I Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

  43. 1 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord

    Which stand by night….

Night can be the time when things aren’t always going well. It can be when things aren’t going your way.

  44. Psalm 134

Behold, bless ye the Lord , all ye servants of the Lord , which by night stand in the house of the Lord .
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord .
The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Bless the Lord with hands raised and in turn he will bless you. It is better to give than receive
