  1. Verses 23-26 MSG “God remembered us when we were down, His love never quits. Rescued us from the trampling boot, His love never quits. Takes care of everyone in time of need. His love never quits. Thank God, who did it all! His love never quits!” God’s love never quits, come what may, God’s love never quits, and neither should we.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14 MSG “Keep your eyes open, hold tight to your convictions, give it all you’ve got, be resolute, and love without stopping.”

Ephesians 6:10-18 MSG “And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” GO!

  2. Alabanza por la misericordia eterna de Jehová) Salm-136:1- Alabad a Jehová, porque él es bueno, porque para siempre es su misericordia. Y 26- Alabad al Dios de los cielos, porque para siempre es su misericordia.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Every thing we do should lead back to praise, bc Everything that God does reveals his Mercy. It is everlasting to everlasting. The Lord and all that he is, is Good because his Mercy last forever. We can’t say it or know it enough, no matter our situation where we think it’s headed, if we are His children then we have nothing to worry about, bc His mercy will carry us through.

  4. 23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:

24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

  5. The same God that showed mercy in these examples is the same God showing that mercy to us today; He never changes.

  6. Josiah: 26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
“His mercy endureth for ever.” Psalms 56:1 says “Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.* No matter what this world may do to us. No matter how mercilessly the world may oppose us God robed Himself in flesh and came down to earth. God”s example was a merciful one and we should have mercy too. Mathew 5:7 says “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.” So, let us GO with MERCY and be blessed! LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD! PRAISE YE THE LORD!

Grace: The free and unmerited favor of God

BLESS YOU IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST

  10. 2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Our God deserves praise and glory forever. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. His mercy endureth forever. That means that it keeps going on and on and on… It never stops even after we do. Im thankful for the mercy and love of God!

  11. Our lives should be a life of “thanks” living, continually giving thanks unto the Lord whatever state we find ourselves in each day, HIS mercy endureth forever.

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever….”

  12. HIS MERCY

1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

This chapter is the prescription for the discouraged soul. Read this chapter out loud to yourself. We desperately need a fresh revelation of the Mercy of GOD.

The Hebrew word for MERCY is

2617. checçed, kheh´-sed; kindness; by implication (towards God) piety: rarely (by opposition) reproof, or (subject.) beauty:—favour, good deed(-liness, -ness), kindly, (loving-)kindness, merciful (kindness), mercy, pity, reproach, wicked thing.

HIS MERCY is revealed in various ways to and through us. It should be in our nature to GIVE THANKS to the LORD; because HE IS GOOD (favorable, gracious, kind, loving, etc.)

Reading through this chapter and reminding ourselves when, where and how GOD reveals HIS MERCY to us is inspiring, revealing and life adjusting.

GO today in HIS MERCY and change your world.

May the BLESSINGS of the LORD JESUS be upon you.

  13. 3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

In the Heb. 2617 checed (kheh-sed) it is a noun meaning goodness, kindness; – absolute

God’s mercy is absolute for those that seek it. I know that there have been times where His mercy has saved me. All of this should come back to giving God the praise for lifting me up; I wanted to be rebellious. God showed me that I am His and showed His mercy to me even though I thought I wasn’t worthy of that mercy. God is good, all the time.

1 Sam. 20:15 But also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever: no, not when the Lord hath cut off the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.

Prov. 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
28 Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.

  14. His Mercy Endures Forever

If had it not been for His sacrifice on Calvary.
Thank you that Your mercy continually endures forever and ever.

    1) O GIVE thanks unto the LORD: for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
    23) Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Thank You JESUS for Your GOODNESS and MERCY!

  16. 1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

What peace it is to know that the Lords mercy endureth forever – thank You Jesus!! There is not enough time or enough words to tell of all the goodness of the Lord, “He’s done so much for me, I cannot tell it all! He has taken my sins away!”

  17. 1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
What’s done is done, his mercy endureth forever.
Paul asked Hod to remove his thorn and after 3 times God said to Paul, ” you have my mercy! Is it not enough?” By the mercy of God that should be more than enough to keep ourselves going.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
For when I am then I am strong
I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus

17 To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:

Notice that the scripture says God “smote” great kings…then it states, “for his mercy enduredth for ever…” This tells me that it’s better to be on the “good” side of His mercy rather than on the bad side of his mercy. The mercy of the Lord is saving grace for the righteous but judgement for the wicked.

  19. 26 Give thanks to the God of heaven. His faithful love endures forever.

Big reminder, give thanks to God at all times and for all things. No matter the issue, give thanks. If you love someone, giving thanks comes easily.

  20. This chapter reminded me of yesterday’s VBS. God will always love you! WOW GOD! His faithful love endures forever! And nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God.

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:38-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  21. 1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

  22. 26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Our God will never leave us nor forsake us. He does not want anyone to ever be lost.He loves us so much that he will continue to forgive and mold and shape us to become what he would have us to be. We just have to be willing to stay in his hands and not walk away from what he desires for our lives. His mercy truly endures forever

  23. 3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

  24. 1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

His mercy is made new everyday, so everyday we should give Him thanks!

  25. Psalm 136:1 GIVE thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever.

His mercy endureth forever and Iam thankful!
It refers to God’s loyal love for his people😊

Jeremiah 33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endurerth forever:

  26. 12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Wrap me in your arms Jesus, like a father wraps his son as his own. My heart aches, but I keep pushing on because your love conquers all. The enemy can be a pest and torment, but I will submit to your love and authority as my God. I want your spirit to flow over me like water crashing on the rocks from a waterfall. I need your Holy Ghost daily. Nothing can satisfy me but you and your spirit. Lord come in like a rushing mighty wind through out my whole family and bind us together. No longer do I want to stand on stilts but I want to be on the surface of the Holy Ghost. Lord put me together and take me away in your arms. Thank you Jesus!

  27. 1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
4 to him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever.

He is God and God alone! I give thanks to you God for everything because of your everlasting love! Thank you God and let me daily lift up my voice to you in thanksgiving and praise!

  28. Every aspect of our lives is made possible by the repeating portion of this Psalm: for his mercy endureth forever. The psalmist obviously had something he wants us to understand about the mercy of God. That alone is enough to declare: ‘O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.’ It seems so appropriate that the beginning and ending of this Psalm are done in thanks to him: for his mercy endureth forever. And regardless of how many other testimonies we may recall, it is always good to thanks unto the God of gods and Lord of lords… noticing of course that he is the big ‘G’ and the big ‘L’. All power in heaven and earth belongs to him, so his mercy is sufficient. It doesn’t matter who or what else I please if I don’t truly please him. Let his grace and mercy be sufficient for me and let me continually give thanks both for all he has done and all he will do. Let me receive his mercy with thanksgiving and continue to bless his holy name!

  29. Whether God is protecting, providing, forgiving or blessing, his mercy endures forever. Whether we have fallen or failed, or have conquered and are victorious, his mercy endures forever.

  30. This Psalm says it over and over again, yet we cannot underestimate the power of the fact that God’s mercy endureth forever! Just the word forever is beyond what I can fathom yet, God’s mercy was enough to not only take care of the children of Isreal, but to also deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians and to also bring them to a the promised land! If God did this, then I should not even doubt that He truly takes care of His children today. Even as my grandma was saying this evening, “you can see God working, His angels everywhere in life working things out for good! It’s really just amazing!” God’s mercy and love is still extended to us today! For this I can praise Him!! For God is great! And His mercy endureth forever! Thank you Lord for the miracles you are still performing today!

I bless you in the name of the Lord Jesus!

  31. 26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

What would we be without the mercy of God? Time and time he gives mercy that we may make things right with him and repent from our evil ways. For his mercy endureth forever… thank you Lord Jesus that you are slow to anger and great in mercy.

  32. 2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

He’s merciful , always give him the glory.

  33. Psalm 136:1 (English Amp) O Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever. Thank you Jesus for your mercy , love , forever. I blessed you in the name of Jesus.

  34. Hannah: “1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”Always thank the Lord for everything that he has done in your life because without him no one could be saved. He shows us so much mercy even when we don’t deserve any. He is my God and he will reign forever. I am so thankful for everything that he has done and it is my desire that I will always walk in his ways and that each and every one of us will be a light until this world.

  35. Mercy is…
    Checed—
    goodness, kindness, faithfulness
    a reproach, shame

Every verse in this chapter talks about the mercy of God. The goodness of God is what led the people out of bondage. It’s what allowed them to be freed. It kept hem safe and drew them closer to him. They goodness of God still does that to us today.

  36. 13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:

To the one who made a way in our darkest days. Your mercy is forever.

  37. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth forever.

Forever Ii will praise thee, I will exalt your name!

  38. Its constantly repeated that His mercy endures forever. Their is no end but doesn’t justify living in sin that grace may abound (Romans 6:1). Repentance is a privilege. Mercy is not receiving what we deserve and grace is receiving what we don’t deserve. We deserved to die for our sins but Jesus died in our place. We are conquerors through him, now we die daily to sin. Death has lost its sting because we look forward to a lifetime in heaven all because his mercy has no end.

  39. PsaIm 136

4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

This is what defines our God, for he alone does great wonders. What idol can lift a lame man and he be healed. Or open his mouth and have a healing happen far from him. Or seek to become a man, and to remit sin. He is what this world is looking for, his wonders a bright light for all to see Separating us from all the dead churches around us. May we display his power to win souls for his kingdom.
