Psalm 145

I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;

12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

14 The Lord upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

  1. Verse 18 MSG “God’s there, listening for all who pray, for all who pray and mean it.” The Lord is so good…..what a fitting verse for this morning as we are learning and teaching on the story of Hannah in Sunday School. Hannah had faith that God would see her situation, know her heart’s desire, and hear her prayer. God knows your situation, know’s your true heart’s desire and hears your prayer! Go pray!

  2. BLESS THE LORD

20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

The opportunity is precious and privilege to Bless the name of the LORD JESUS and to praise him with all that is within us. JESUS knows our heart and the desire of it. The pledge of the WORD of GOD is to preserve all them that love HIM.

We demonstrate our love for him by keeping his commandments and loving one another. As we discipline our minds to praise the LORD, rather than murmur and complain about conditions or situations. We position ourselves for the covering and blessing of the LORD JESUS.

  3. 3 The Eternal is great and deserves endless praise; His greatness knows no limit, recognizes no boundary. No one can measure or comprehend His magnificence. Voice

He deserves endless praise! The Universe can not contain Him, and if everything He has done was written in books (even at the time this scripture was first written, and so much more, now) the world isn’t big enough to hold them!

    2 Chronicles 6:18
But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built! KJV

    John 21:25
And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. KJV

17The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.#holy: or, merciful, or, bountiful
18The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

This is why it is so important to always tell the truth. The Word says God is “near” them that call upon him in truth. God is truth and it is impossible for God to lie. When we choose to be truthful and take responsibility, We invite God to be near unto us. Many times it might feel like God is so very far away from us…that is when we must examine ourselves to see if we are walking in the faith.

  5. 4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.
If we want peoples faith to rise we should share what God has done for us. Each and every day he is doing something in our lives. In Hebrews 11:1 it says Now faith is the substance things hoped for, the evidence of things yet seen.
Our expectations must be higher than they are now. We must SPEAK the WORD of GOD.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭

  6. 18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

  7. I gotta praise the Lord because he wake me up this morning I am not sick I able to do my everyday thing the Lord shall be in my mouth forevermore
1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

  8. Psalms
16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

If we run into His open hand there we will find our hearts desire. We must pray that He is the fulfillment of every desire in our life and allow Him to bring satisfaction as,we serve Him with gladness. He knows the desires of our heart and He is faithful.

    His Strength is Perfect

  9. For you kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule troughout all generation. The Lord always keeps his promises, he is gracious in all he does.

  10. EYES WIDE OPEN:

17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
    Psalms 145:17‭-‬19 KJV

The righteous in all his ways. Is that me? Am I righteous or am I just getting by? God knows my thoughts and my heart. He knows the areas where I lack, but yet He still guides me. Now is not the time for me to fall to the world: now is the time for me to stand up and be the man that God has called me to be. Wether I feel like it or not this is that moment where everything needs to change. I need that personal relationship with God. I need to open my eyes and see in me what God sees. Thank you Jesus for showing me this today.

  11. The psalmist recognizes the importance not only of that eternal praise that is given to God in heaven but that daily exercise of personal praise unto God that should accompany our daily prayer unto him. That word extol means to praise highly or glorify: it is something that is reserved unto him and him alone because we recognize he is great and greatly to be praised!

That exhortation is so important an expression of our thankfulness that each generation is going to take the time to extol the virtues of God to the next. We’re going to remind ourselves of God’s continued goodness as we teach the next generation and allow them to experience God themselves. Just as his truth endures to all generations, in fact because his truth endures to all generations, his praise should be heard in every generation! He is worthy to be praised every day and forever just for who he is!

We’ll share the memories of what God has done… the psalmist declares this should be done abundantly… he had done so much both for us individually and us as a people that his testimonies need to be shared! Those in the world may fail to recognize the goodness of God in ignorance but that should never be the case for the people of God. We need to know who God is! We need to recall what he’s done and share it as we continue to praise and glorify his name!

If everything we do in word or deed is done in his name then ‘All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.’ So praise ye the Lord at all times!

  12. 1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

I learned at a young age, that when I praise God in the morning my day is much better. I have not, peace, and yes even patience. When I was a teen , I said to my self. I wonder if I don’t praise God in the morning what would happen? So I did just that, I didn’t praise hi. In the morning, I did it later in the day. For one week. And let me tell you. There is a big difference. So praise hum in the morning and all say long. We must also tell our peers about his greatness. Because it’s from generation to generation that we have an effect on. So stay true to God.
    #GODOSOMETHING

  13. 4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

From one generation to the next, we must declare and praise the works of God and the great things He has done. Every generation should inspire and encourage the next so that we never forget and this world never ceases to know how good God is!

  14. 3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

Today as I read this along with what I witnessed today when we were talking to a parent, It is our responsibility to make sure the next generation knows about Gods goodness, some times all they have is us! Its up to us to teach them about The sacrifice that was made for us, it seems to me David realized that before that great sacrifice was ever made, He wanted generation to generation to know that God is Great, we need to make sure that the next generation knows, how to praise, how to pray, how GREAT AND MIGHTY OUR GOD IS, It starts with us!

  15. Josiah: Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
The kingdom of God is not like most kingdoms that come and go. But, the kingdom of God, it, is an everlasting kingdom. We do not have to worry about the market crashing, or hackers, or thieves. What we sow into the kingdom of God no thief can steal, or moth nor rust corrupt as Mathew 6:20 says. So, let us GO SOW into the everlasting kingdom of God. “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Mathew 6:21. LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD!

  16. Psalms 145:10-12
    10) All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.
    11) They shall SPEAK of the glory of thy kingdom, and TALK of thy power;
    12) to MAKE KNOWN to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

GO Speak, GO Talk, GO Make Known, GO Testify, GO Witness about JESUS and His Kingdom, His Power, and His Mighty Acts.

  17. 8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

  18. I will praise the Lord , and may everyone on earth bless his holy name forever and ever.
    Psalms 145:21 NLT

Jesus, I praise you how I praise you. You are my Strength and my Redeemer.

  19. The generation to come

4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

The example of what we do will forecast the future of what is to come. Our objective as parents is to preserve the things that we have right, remove the things we have wrong and grow into what we should become. If our children see us do all three of these they will do the same and each generation will become better than the next. When we do these things spiritually each genration will become closer to God, get new revelation, and close the gap in the lost majority in our society. Our children can either have the testimony of building on their parents examples or they can be like some of us who had to tear down everything we have learned and start over. Let us teach a lifestyle that our children can build on. Let is give them every chance they can get. And most of all let us set them up for a future with the Lord.

  20. 3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
Unsearchable- unable to be clearly understood; inscrutable.

Gods being is so enormous that no one can understand what he actually is people can only describe what he is not. Praise god for what he is good, one of the few things we know about god.

  21. 2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Every day. Every day. Every day. I WILL PRAISE THY NAME… EVERY DAY… No days without magnifying our king of glory! There isn’t one day that goes by that we shouldn’t praise and give glory to our great King. We are without excuse…it’s not on how we feel…but how he is.

  22. 8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.
9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Praise God for his promises and we knew he cannot lie! If we doubt that we are blessed and favored, then ask him to help your unbelief (as Pastor preached this morning). Praise him in the morning before your day gets started so time spent with him doesn’t slip away.

  23. 4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

Continue to praise Jesus at all times that our younger generations see how great is our God. Let’s teach them about God and what mighty great things He has done. Praise Him, for what they see us do they will do as well.

  24. Salmo-145:1 al 5 Te exaltaré, mi Dios y rey;
    por siempre bendeciré tu nombre.
    Todos los días te bendeciré;
    por siempre alabaré tu nombre.
    Grande es el Señor, y digno de toda alabanza;
    su grandeza es insondable.
    Cada generación celebrará tus obras
    y proclamará tus proezas.
Se hablará del esplendor de tu gloria y majestad,
y yo meditaré en tus obras maravillosas.

  25. 16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

My God has all power and authority. Even when he offers himself with just his hand, every living thing is satisfied! His spirit mends broken hearts, and produces miracles! Thank you Jesus!

  26. 4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

One of the best and greatest blessings are is to see our children praising, worshiping, praying and winning souls. HALELUJAH!!!

  27. What i got from this blog ia that god is great and that if people do bad he will punish you and that we were created to praise GOD

  28. 1 I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.

3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

5 I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

6 And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Jesus I’ll never forget what you done for me! I will never stop speaking of your goodness or your mercy its everlasting. You have been faithful to me, I will sing praises to you and exalt your name forever!

  29. Thank God, he is slow to anger! Unlike me sometimes, I definitely need some help in that area.

8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10 All thy works shall praise thee, O Lord; and thy saints shall bless thee.

“His mercies are over his works”……………………………………..

  30. 8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

God graciousness and compassion to us is hard to comprehend sometimes. Why would God choose someone like me to love? Why did he shed his grace and mercy on me? We may never know but what we do know is that his mercy endureth forever. Now “shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?” God forbid!!! We should strive to live a sinless Godly life but “If any man sin we have a advocate with the father Jesus Christ the righteous” If we seek forgiveness he is faithful and just to forgive us…

  31. “One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭145:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

What are you telling your children?

Yes we tell our natural children about God. We sin his praises and pass down miacles and mercy from one generation to the next. But what about your spiritual children? Are you declaring how God brought you out? Your testimony iS not just some one time thing that God has done for you. It is God’s mercy that has transformed any life. These thugs should be shared around he bible study table as well as the dinner table. By spreading your testimony or that of another you can encourage someone else to trust God, build their faith, or lead hem to salvation. All of great things increase their relationship with God and give glory to him in the process.

Go! Praise God and share he mighty acts he has done for you!

  32. “Your kingdom is a kingdom that will last forever. Your rule will continue for all time to come. The Lord is faithful and will keep all of his promises. He is loving toward everything he has made.”
    ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭145:13‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

The Lord has been faithful to me. His hand is not short nor is His ear heavy. He has kept every promise. Thankful for the love He has show to me.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
    ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  33. 8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

It is when we become angry that we get into trouble. I would predict most of the inmates of our prisons are there because they did something when they were angry. In our wrath we lose control of ourselves, and terrible things follow. Divorce is often the result of anger. A man and a woman fall in love and start down the road of life. Then little activities lead to criticism. Little flaws are magnified. They start blaming each other, they separate, and then turn to divorce as an end all.

We as spouses have to learn that we are not perfect people thus our spouses are not perfect people. We have to be real with each other and understand that we will anger each other. We must also realize that anger is only for a season. Anger only lasts when we feed it and concentrate on it rather than forgiving each other and moving on with our lives.

  34. Psalm 145:21 (English Amp) My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord; and let all flesh bless ( affectionately ) and gratefully praise) His holy name forever and ever. I LOVE you Jesus. I will exalted you and always praise you. My Lord is gracious and full of love and passion.l will give thanks to his name.

  35. 16 When you open your hand, you satisfy the hunger and thirst of every living thing.

The Lord’s hand is open at all times for us to reach out and grab. God is ready to help and lead us. All we have to do is reach out to God. We too need to open our hand for others, in the form of serving. Be ready to serve others, as they are looking for answers as new believers.

  36. 8 The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

Thw Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Out of his passionate love for us he gives us what we don’t deserve. He is slow to anger and allows us to repent by his mercy. He merciful not to give us the judgments we deserve. He died for our sins to be forgiven. He hung on a cross that we didn’t have to. He blesses us beyond measure and equips us with tools to defeat the enemy as he did. This is why we must suit up with the full armor of God.

  37. Great is the Lord , and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
    (Psalms 145:3 KJV)

Great is the Lord our God and greatly to be praised. Christ is the great God as well as our Saviour great in all the perfections of his nature, of great wisdom, power, faithfulness, holiness, grace, and goodness; Praise the mighty King Jesus Christ!!!

  38. Psalm 145

The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

The Lord is righteous and holy in all his ways and works make a keep me the same so that I can be a good work of his. He is nigh unto all them that call in truth and will fulfill the desire of them that fear him. Let that word be in my soul and conquer any doubts that may arise.
