Song of Solomon 7

How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince’s daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.

Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies.

Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.

Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king is held in the galleries.

How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.

I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;

And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.

10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.

12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

  1. Oh, how beautiful you are! How pleasing, my love, how full of delights!
    Song of Songs 7:6 NLT
Oh how beautiful are you lord it’s word it’s your love
    Oh how glorious
Are you lord it’s was you power it was cross
That save me and rescue me just a moment there you sent me free give you glory glory

It all because of you Jesus how beautiful it will be when you come and take your bridge

  2. Proverbs 16:32
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

For some people It’s so easy to allow themselves to hold anger within rather than lash out at others. The problem with this is your still angry. Inward anger is just as damaging as outward. Sometimes even more damaging because you may lash out at someone that doesn’t deserve it.

Being “slow to anger” does not mean hide it. It means to take your time to evaluate the situation and you may find out that there really isn’t a reason to be angry at all.

  3. I am my lover’s, and he claims me as his own.
    Song of Songs 7:10 NLT

I’m so thankful to be washed in the blood of Jesus. And to be baptizing in His precious Holy name.

I found it interesting he says how beautiful are thy feet with shoes.
Were the feet unsightly, were they calloused from walking? We don’t know.
    Or maybe it was symbolic.
Ephesians 6:15 mentions when we are clothes with the armor of God we should have our feet shod with the preperation of Peace.

Either way a good reason to.go and buy a new pair of shoes.
Well I had to put that in there.

Shoes have to.do with walking and we must be prepared to walk each day
In the direction our First Love leads.
Having peace where ever we go.

  5. ENJOY WHAT YOU LOVE

6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

What I glean from this chapter is the joy of LOVE. There is no bickering, arguing, fighting or degrading. Time is too short here on earth and life is too full to not enjoy IT.

Focus on the things we love about GOD and each other and we will find ourselves living in JOY.

Find some traits we LOVE about GOD and GO enjoy IT.
Find some traits we LOVE about CHURCH and GO enjoy IT.
Find some traits we LOVE about PEOPLE and GO enjoy IT.

Relationships are built on traits we enjoy about another. For this cause our LOVE for and to JESUS should unmatchable, unsearchable, and undeniable.

1John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

    LIFE is about relationship!

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

    GO Love!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive

  6. I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

I wanna to be close close to your side
So heaven is real and death is a lie
I wanna hear voices of angels above
    Singing as one

Hallelujah Holy Holy, God almighty Great I am
Who is worthy, None beside Thee
    God Almighty, Great I Am

I wanna be near near to your heart
Loving the world hating the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
    Singing as one

  7. 11. Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.

If we aren’t comfortable taking Jesus with us somewhere, then we shouldn’t be there, either.

  8. 6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!
    Let’s brag about the Lord!

God has done wonders I’m telling ya, miracles I’m telling ya!
I never would’ve thought I’d be where I am today. Every day is another day to spread God love, to spread Gods word. I’ve been working with a young man that’s clueless about the lord. The first day I told him a little bit at first to reel him in, the second day I gave a small run through of the Bible what it is and what it’s about. It only took about 5 minutes and few scriptures for him to get the understanding of oneness! The third day I spoke about the hearings and miracles Jesus Christ was capable of doing and I brought up end time one last time. I asked him not to run from God. The young man looked me dead in the eyes and said, “I’m not, I’m running towards him!”

Bragging about the Lord can bring someone some curiosity. So GO in Jesus name speaking thy word, because if we “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭17:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  9. With a solid relationship in our homes, we can confidently look to our relationship with God! ‘I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.’ When we truly submit add come to the realization that we are his and his desire is towards us, our faith has reached a level that he can truly use us in the kingdom! The Bible declares that his eyes look to and fro throughout the whole earth to shew himself strong.. but it is spoken to those whose heart is perfect toward him.

God wants to move… and his desire is to move through us! What does it prove for the almighty God of heaven to do it himself? He already created all things! The greater glory is returned unto him when we respond in faith and even in our weakness, his strength provides for the need.. through us! We need that kind of faith, and it all begins with a relationship.

First, I am His! But just as important, His desire is towards me! The almighty God of heaven and earth who created all things: his desire is towards me! That’s the God that we serve… not an autocratic impersonal being who orchestrates all things through his heavenly host and keeps us arms length. Instead he opened up his arms on the cross that whosoever will could boldly come before his throne of grace! All we have to do to receive is to believe in his love! A belief that is demonstrated in everything we do, because WE KNOW that his desire is to me!

  10. Nothing can compare to the love that Jesus has for the precious souls of the church.
Just as we are absolutely committed , faithful, totally devoted and absolutely in love with our spouse; Jesus wants that same commitment towards Him. He desires us to be completely and totally faithful to Him because He is towards us. You do so much more for your spouse than you ever would for anyone else because of your love and devotion to one another. He has, is and will do so much more for us than we could ever do for ourselves because of His unfailing love to us.

  11. 13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

Verse 13 just brought to mind some verses back in Proverbs 25

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates

  12. Song of Soloman7:10 (English Amp) [ She proudly said] I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me! [ John10:28 ] And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages.[ To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand. I am so that thankful for being washed in the blood of Jesus and being baptize in Jesus Christ.

  13. Song of Soloman7:10 (English Amp) [ She proudly said] I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me! 14. 10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

He is the creator of all things, He holds the world in His hands, he can speak light into existence, He guides each and every animal, yet He still wants us, You and I are who He desires! But are we desiring Him back? Are we showing Him with our actions that we want a relationship with Him as He does with us? I believe that if we want our relationship with God to grow, our love and desire for Him must grow!

2 Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies.

Waaaahhhoooo! Boom, as I read this scripture I started wondering…”Hum, I wonder what is so significant about lilies?” Lilies here, lilies there, lilies everywhere. So I did what any curious young feller would have done…I looked up the word “lily” in the Strong’s Concordance and you’ll never believe what I found. Ha, it’s quiet interesting. So, here it is:

    Lily H7799
    שׁוֹשַׁנָּה
From H7797; a lily (from its whiteness), as a flower or architectural ornament; also a (straight) trumpet (from the tubular shape): – lily, Shoshannim.

Isn’t that awesome…OK, there’s more to the story here. The word lily comes from the word #7797. Check out this Word…

    H7797 שִׂישׂ
A primitive root; to be bright, that is, cheerful: – be glad, X greatly, joy, make mirth, rejoice.

So, you see part of the root word of lily is, “to be bright, cheerful, glad, make mirth, rejoice, be full of joy.

The most common association that we have with lilies today would probably be the Peace Lily. This plant is usually associated with funerals and death so the question is why. The answer is simple, the person may have passed from this world, but to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. There is overflowing joy for those who are in His Presence.

So, here in this scripture we see the rivers of living water flowing out of the “belly” and the Holy Ghost bringing forth the overflowing joy of the Lord. Boom! We all need to brighten up with joy!

  16. 10 I am my lover’s, and he claims me as his own.

Oh my, what interesting verses 1-9. I’m not sure what my wife would have said or done, if I had spoken words like this when dating. I dont think a 2nd date would have come around. As relationships grows, its easier to say lovable stuff to one another. In marriage, you should be able to say just about anything, and the other wont be offended.

  17. 13. The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved. O how sweet !!!!

  18. 10 I am my lover’s, and he claims me as his own.

    Psalms 8:4
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”
I am forever grateful that you chose me to serve you!

  19. I Love TO Worship The Lord
    7-1
The 2 speaches in this section one by each partner speak of the growing maturity and depth of there marriage To Solomon the maiden satisfies like food and drink

  20. 6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

There is beauty and peace in Love. Notice that the love the writer is referring to here is pure Godly love not lust. There is a major difference between the two and they should never be confused. Let us Love the way God wants us to love. Let us husbands love our wives as God loved the church and gave Himself for it. Let us love like Jesus.

  21. Verse 1 MSG “Shapely and graceful your sandaled feet, and queenly your movement—Your limbs are lithe and elegant, the work of a master artist.” This verse reminded me of the song “Masterpiece”:

    You’re making a masterpiece
You shaping the soul in me
    You’re moving where I can’t see
And all I am is in your hands
    You’re taking me all apart
Like it was your plan from the start
To finish your work of art for all to see you’re making a masterpiece

  22. What do your fruits say

13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

What are we showing this world? Are we showing God’s love and his heartbeat, or are we so caught up in our lives that we have forgotten to be Christ to others. We must remember that what we do on a day to day bases shows this world the light of God or the darkness of the enemy. What are you show. What is your grout saying about you.

  23. Josiah: As I read this I got reminded about our love for God. If we really love something it will show. When we love God it will show. It will show in the way we talk. It will show in the way we live. It will show in the way we present ourselves and how we react to things. As we GO to school or wherever we may GO I pray that our love for God shows to people in this world. So, let us GO BE A LIGHT TO THIS WORLD and let our love for God show!

  24. 10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

My God has all power and authority. My desire is the lords desire, we need to pray for the lords Heart and mind daily and see him work through our lives.

  25. 10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.
11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.

Those that truly love Jesus are unashamed of Him and share His gospel wherever they go.

  26. 10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

Alone with Him. God is about relationship and he desires for us to long and yearn for Him the Way he does for us. It is Love Himself, Jesus, that came and gave it all for us. It is a flaming hot desire for one’s heart…it is God’s desire. He is a jealous God and there will be no other before Him. It’s relationship that we see here expresses. Will we make time for him? Will we seek Him like we seek that most treasure passionate love? Will we be intimate with him.?

  27. A promise for the evangelist

12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

Go to the place where the harvest is. God shows his love to those who seek his harvest.

  28. 10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me. (Song of Solomon 7:10 KJV)

My God has all power and authority, I humbly desire the sweet presence of my God let my desires be his desires. What is man that he is mindful of him? We are created in his likeness and image. We are his and everything we are and have will ever be his because of the love of our souls.

  29. 10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

What is man that He is mindful of him? He made us, fearfully and wonderfully made. We were designed by him for him and his desire is for us.
