Isaiah 2

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord‘s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.

10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty.

11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

15 And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

  1. Verse 22 NLT “Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?” Psalm 118:1-8 AMP says:

    “O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
    For His lovingkindness endures forever.

    Oh let Israel say,
    “His lovingkindness endures forever.”

Oh let the house of Aaron say,
    “His lovingkindness endures forever.”

Oh let those who [reverently] fear the Lord, say,
    “His lovingkindness endures forever.”

    Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
The Lord answered me and set me free.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can [mere] man do to me?

    The Lord is on my side, He is among those who help me;
Therefore I will look [in triumph] on those who hate me.

It is better to take refuge in the Lord
    Than to trust in man.

  2. 19. When the LORD rises to shake the earth, his enemies will crawl into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the LORD and the glory of his majesty.

    21. while they crawl away into caverns and hide among the jagged rocks in the cliffs. They will try to escape the terror of the LORD and the glory of his majesty as he rises to shake the earth.

It will do no good to hide in the earth from the One who can shake the earth, just like it’s no use to think you are hiding what you are doing from the One who sees everything.

  3. Verse 22 NLT “Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?”

This verse reminds us who our trust and confidence should be in. It should be in Jesus. Everything else is as fleeting as a breath of air.

  4. i hope will all know what this saying means” with Jesus you lose some, but against him you lose yourself.” because we have to be stop thinking about our flesh and think about our souls. yes we can live haply on this earth and we can flourish but then what happens when it all goes away? the we start crying to him. why don’t we invest in him when we ave few because then we learn to even stay with him when we have much so that when he decides to come we aren’t scared but we are excited and eager to meet him because we know we have been good to him.

  5. Human pride will be brought down, and human arrogance
will be humbled. Only the Lord will be exalted on tha day of judgment.
    Isaiah 2:11 NLT

  6. 11 The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low , the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

23 Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils, Of what account is he?

Isaiah 2:2 KJV  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

There is coming a time when God is going to set up his throne and all men shall be humbled. The kings and princes of this world will bow to the Lord, the media will bow to the Lord, every superstar, every rich and famous person will bow to the Lord, every false religion will confess their false idol worship and Jesus will sit on the throne of this world and its system.

Philippians 2:9-11 KJV  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  (10)  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  (11)  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

  8. Sometimes I just like to sit back and imagine what it will be like when ‘it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord‘s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.’

It may seem sometimes that the entire world is caught up in the collection of stuff, that their little idolatries have entirely consumed them, that there just isn’t an appreciation of God… and perhaps for those still in the world, that is even true. In those times, consider our rescue workers… they see disaster day after day, and yet continue to give their best to make a difference where they can. That is our goal… that by all means we might save some. We cannot save those who do not care, but for those who are seeking, we can make the difference of an eternal lifetime! If at times the world is just to discouraging to think upon.. lift up your eyes from whence cometh our help and contemplate a different perspective!

  9. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord‘s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Everyone needs a place of refuge. A place they can run to when they have a need, when they need encouragement, when they need a friend to pick them up and show them the way. We must be that place POFW. We must love everyone inspire of what they have/are doing. They must feel the Spirit of God when they walk into our assembly and the love of God, and know that we are a safe place, a refuge in their time of storm.

  10. Human pride will be brought down, and human arrogance
will be humbled. Only the Lord will be exalted on tha day of judgment.
    Isaiah 2:11 NLT

Pride comes before destruction! Pride and arrogance is a stronghold in every human being. The challenge comes when we are in denial that exists in us. Everyday we wrestle and make a choice to who we will submit. We all submit to something or someone . As children of God we have the Holy Ghost that lives in US, we no longer need to be bound by strong holes. We are a new creation in Jesus Christ, when we realize that we can utilize the power of the Holy Ghost as we submit to him (Jesus) we are more than Overcomers by the power of his blood.

  11. PREPARE FOR THE LAST DAYS

The Church, for us The Pentecostals of Fort Worth is considered a mountain. As long as we keep it The LORDs House.

The WORD of GOD declares that in the last days “all nations shall flow unto IT”. GOD will begin to turn the hearts of people to say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of GOD.

People will come hungry to learn, they will come seeking the order of GOD. They will come hungry to hear the law of GOD. They will be seeking the supernatural and expecting the presence and power of GOD.

Here we have a WORD from the LORD to The Pentecostals of Fort Worth.

  12. Isaiah 2:10-12 & 21
    10) Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.
    11) The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
    12) For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every on that is lifted up: and he shall be brought low.
    21) To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.”

    Rev. 6:15-17 says…
    15) And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the moutains;
    16) And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.
    17) For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

  13. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

How will our city know where to go to find the Lord in this day if we don’t witness and invite them now. Yes it is outreach to our immediate community, but it is also telling the people on our jobs what God does for his people in our church. Then when they realize their need, they will know where to go. This city needs the POFW and we must help guide them to Him.

  14. 2. “And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

In the last days the house of God will attract the nations, not because of the way it looks, but because of the presence of God that fills it!

    5. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.”
    ‭‭
We cannot wait on God to come back to begin obeying Him. Just as the scripture instructs us here, we must walk in the light of the Lord now. Though our eternal award awaits us, we can already reap many benefits from obedience as we apply the word of God to our lives!

  15. Judgment day is coming there are many things we can say to do and not to do , but over all a relationship with Jesus is important.

    STRENGTHEN your relationship with HIM.

  16. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord‘s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

  17. And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
    Isaiah 2:9‭, ‬11‭-‬12 KJV
In the last eyes will open but it will be to late to humble. their self because in verse 10 it’s say they won’t be forgiven in that that every need shall bowed every tongue shall confess the name of Jesus. That day Jesus Christ will be The only name lift it up The Only Name and the only name exalted
Why wait to then when we can do it now I will praise your name Jesus you are the living God you are are The Undefeated you are off Omega the beginning to end the first to last the one who was and is to come

  18. 2 In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house
will be the highest of all—
the most important place on earth.
It will be raised above the other hills,
and people from all over the world will stream there to worship. NLT

We can’t wait until the last days to worship God, we need to spread God’s word all around us and fill up his house while we can, and worship him until he comes back for his bride!

  19. 4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

It definitely sounds like in verse 4 Isaiah is talking about the thousand years of peace. For God is judge among the nation’s not man or prince of this world. People also will turn their weapons into tools. Nations will not lift sword against nation. This shows me that prophecy is not just limited to Revelation and Daniel, but is found through out the Bible. May I learn more and more and never stop learning his word.

  20. Human pride will be brought down, and human arrogance will be humbled. Only the Lord will be exalted on that day of judgment.
    Isaiah 2:11 NLT

The Lord takes very seriously the issue of pride. Nothing or no one will be exalted above Him. We must be sure to live a humble and repented life. Ask the Lord to examine our hearts and motives. Even if it’s not us it may be something we have exalted. He gets the glory, He gets the praise, He gets the honor. Thank you Jesus for your Word

  21. 12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

Every faluse every Idol that man made everything that’s not of God will be brought down in Jesus alone will be exalted on that very day I pretty much said in the chapter the things of this world won’t last that why you can’t depend Things of this world to satisfy you because it won’t last it will just pass away but the word of God will continue forever that why we got to get our faces in the word of God because his word will never died remember we are not of this world Jesus alone will be exalted in the last day Hallelujah I exalt your name right now Jesus you rule the heavens and Earth there is none like you no one could compare to what you do Jesus

  22. 2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord‘s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Please tell someone the TRUTH ABOUT THE LORD
Allow God to lead your lips and lead others into his light.

  23. ILove To Worship The Lord
In the last days Jerusalem and the Temple of the Lord will become the worlds greatest attraction and people from many lands will flow there to worship the Lord

  24. v5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

He brings order and beauty by bringing light into our lives. HE can bring spiritual light to each of our lives individually.
In these last days GOD wants us to be a reflection of HIS light to people who are in darkness HIS light continually cleanses our hearts and minds.

I’m so thankful that JESUS called us out of darkness into HIS marvellous light. HIS light will guide us to the eternal home that HE has prepared for those who love HIM.

  25. 4 And he shall judge among the nation’s, and shall rebuke many people, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their Spears into pruninghooks Nation shall not lift up sword against Nation, neither shall they learn war any more. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

  26. Let there be peace on the mountain

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord‘s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lordfrom Jerusalem.

This is talking about the third building of the temple. This day is coming nearer everyday. When the presidents of nations come together and talk. Things happen. Look and see what God is doing and going to do. We live in exciting times. Get ready Jesus is coming back sooner than we think.

  27. And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

What idols do you have in your life? i will give my life to Jesus for he is King of Kings and lord of lords. Bless it be his name. I pray for all and what they go through in there daily trials.

    in Jesus name amen.

  28. 22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

Although we strive to be interdependent, and working alongside of each other, each person doing their job, we must not put everything we trust in man.

  29. Verse 22 NLT “Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?”

    Proverbs 3:26
for the LORD will be the source of your confidence, and he will guard your foot from being caught in a trap

Only Jesus can get you out of trouble. Place your confidence in Jesus. People will always fail you. God never fails.

  30. Isaiah2:2( English Amp) It shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord house shall be [ firmly] established as the highest of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow to it. Tell people all the way around us about we are in our last days. Super natural things are going to happen, signs , wonders, and miracles. Spread the God word to everyone.Get yourself ready for the coming of the Lord.

  31. 20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

    That Day!

We all have or will have a “that day” when we get rid of our idols and those thing that hold us from God Those thing bring the attention and glory to us. Yet on “that day” we recognize our faults and allow all glory to be unto God.

  32. 3 People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem. (NLT)

People are hungry and people are searching. This will be such a glorious sight to see. We must be prepared and ready to share the gospel!

  33. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

    Teach me oh Lord!!

  34. 19 When the LORD rises to shake the earth, his enemies will crawl into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the LORD and the glory of his majesty.

During times of trouble, many seek to go hide somewhere. They don’t want no one to know they are having troubles in their life. They may appear, and all may seem fine, but underneath they are hurting. If they could realize with God in their life, they would never have to hide. They would come to God and pray.

  35. Josiah: In the end God is going to win. It does not matter how much the devil may try God is going to win. In the last days when God reigns there is goinging to be peace. Verse 4 talks about this peace and says ” And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”True peace comes when God reigns. So, let us GO BE A LIGHT and let God reign in our life.

  36. When you walk in the light of the Lord, you avoid the darkness. The darkness desires to consume and take us away from where God wants us. When light shows up, darkness has to flee. Let us walk in the light of the Lord and stand firm on his word.

  37. 5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

I pray that as I walk through life, that I never allow myself to become proud. That I do not allow anything in this life to become highly exalted. I do not want to risk putting anything above God! HE is better then anything and the things of this life are not even close to being worth the risk of not being with God eternally. I know that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord. The proud things and lofty things will be taken down, yet I do not have to wait until then to do so. If I wait to take those things out of my life, then I run the risk of not having as good of a relationship with Him. I do not want that happen! Truly God is worth it all! Every step that I take!

  38. Isaiah
O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

His Light outshines All. His Light penatrates into the darkest of darkness.
He has no shadow. He is Light

  39. We are in the last days right now, but to asked “When are the last days?” is a question that has challenged Bible scholars for centuries. Some believe the last days begin with Jesus’ birth and will continue until his second coming. Others say this time refers to the time of God’s judgment, followed by Christ rule in heaven. Whatever the case, in the last days God will do marvelous things. The Lord will establish his temple, teach us his ways, settle disputes and end wars (vs2-5). So rather than fearing the last days, if our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Rev 3:5), we can joyfully anticipate them.

  40. 22 Stop trusting in mere humans,
who have but a breath in their nostrils.
    Why hold them in esteem?

Amen! We can’t put our complete trust on humans because we all have faults and will disappoint or hurt each other. However, God is a mighty God that never lies and will never leave us. He is the one that gives us breathe and is able to take it away when he wants. You are the only one Lord that we can completely trust, even when men fall we have to keep our eyes on you Lord. Your worth fighting for, your worth pushing and moving forward to GROW your kingdom Jesus!!

  41. 2. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Ja’-cob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zi’-on shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Je-ru’-sa-lem. Jesus your word is truth !!!!

  42. 5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

First John 2:8–11 says that he who hates his brother is in the darkness and he who loves his brother abides in the light. Walking in the light means being a loving person and walking in the darkness means being a person of hate. But there is something more basic than that. People can desire things more than God is if they are blind to His ways. To choose gravel over diamonds you have to be blind. It may feel the same but the reality of the two is vastly different.

When we walk in darkness we are controlled by our own lusts and desires and fall victim to whatever whim we find interesting. If we are controlled by desires for the world instead of desires for God, it doesn’t matter whether we say we have love God or not; we don’t.

  43. 8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

What’s in your hands??? What is it we serve? Our Job? Our families? New car payment? House note? Vacation? What is it you are working for, because I know with me, I have to watch, to make sure I don’t allow something to move into the #1 position.
