Isaiah 12

And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

  2. Verses 5-6 MSG “Sing praise-songs to God. He’s done it all! Let the whole earth know what he’s done! Raise the roof! Sing your hearts out, O Zion! The Greatest lives among you: The Holy of Israel.” These verses remind me of the song:

    Great are Your ways
    Great are Your works
    Great are You, Lord
    In all the earth
    Great is Your power
    Great is Your strength
Great are You Lord and greatly to be praised

  4. “Yes, indeed—God is my salvation. I trust, I won’t be afraid. God—yes God!—is my strength and song, best of all, my salvation!”

Joyfully you’ll pull up buckets of water from the wells of salvation. And as you do it, you’ll say, “Give thanks to God.

Call out His Name. Ask Him anything! Shout to the nations, tell them what He’s done, spread the news of His great reputation! MSG

1 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

When we feel as if God is angry at us the best way to turn us back to him is to praise Him. Today let’s sing praises and turn away the anger of the Lord from this Great Nation that we are privileged to be a part of. Just this morning at 6am prayer, I prayed that God would forgive the United States of America for it’s streets filled with blood and the wickedness in the atmosphere. There is right now images that invisible to us, being broadcast all over this land through satellites and transmission towers that would cause great anger from God to fill the land. Jesus have mercy and church let’s praise HIM.

  8. In that day you will sing:
    ” I will praise you , o Lord!
You were angry with me, but not any more.
Now you comfort me . Isaiah 12:1 NLT

As a father of very young children I can relate to this.
There’s times when we have to correct bad behaviors in our children,
And there are times when we love and encourage then.

  9. “See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord GOD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.” With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! In that wonderful day you will sing: “Thank the Lord! Praise his name! Tell the nations what he has done. Let them know how mighty he is! Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭12:2-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  10. 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

I will give you the praise I will sing you a new song you been so good I will praise for what you doing and what you about to do

  11. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

“The Lord is my life and my salvation” those words remind me of these two verses. If God is our salvation there is no reason to be afraid. Our trust and confidence is in the Lord. Therefore with joy we shall draw water out of the wells of salvation and enjoy the blessings and benefits of the Lord.

  12. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

  13. GO WITH NO FEAR

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

The question has been posed for years; “What would you do for GOD if you knew it would not fail?” On Thursday Night at UPCIGC here in KC, Pastor Aaron Soto preached “The 2 Fears”. The fear of the world and the fear of the LORD.

When our LOVE for JESUS is proper, we have no fear of the world. GOD is my salvation.

GOD is my salvation in what?

    EVERYTHING!

My TRUST in JESUS delivers me from all fear.

Lets GO reach Fort Worth, TX today with the LOVE and GRACE of JESUS. Today GO Invite people to revival for Sunday and also to Friend Day with no fear. JESUS is on our side and HE is working for us.

  14. Isaiah 12

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my steggrength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

I will trust and not be afraid.
I will trust for Jesus leads the way
I will trust though the path may be strange
I will trust and not be afraid.

I wrote this little chorus after the death of my daughter. Today its meaning gies deeper. I noticed I put a period after I will trust and not be afraid. Finalizing the sentence trusting Him not being afraid. Fear hath torment but in God there is peace.
The 2 other lines are open indicating a continuous guidance even in the darkest circumstances. God is the Light He will lead us even when we find ourself betwixt, confused,if we put our hope our trust in Him He pushes out the fear He Lights the strange paths we walk down. We may not see clearly but having a calm assurance that THE Light will get us right to where He wants us to be.
I Will Trust and Not Be Afraid. In Jesus Name!

  15. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

When we come to the altar and apply the preached message to our hearts and lives, there should be joy after we have renewed and strengthened commitments…And the joy of the Lord is our strength.

  16. 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

Praise turns everything around. Praise is the weapon that has been used since the beginning to time to bring about a change in any situation. It can bring deliverance, healing, victory, comfort, and peace. Why? Because it invites God into the midst of our circle, and wherever God is we have hope!

  17. 4 And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

5 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Can you praise your way out of it!
    Hallelujah yes you can!
There is a reason we come into prayer with Praise and Thanksgiving. His name is greatly to be praised and I hope every time I speak of Gis name he looks down upon me smiling.

When we send up praise we’re BREAKING the atmosphere the devil has created to ty and hinder the SPIRIT from coming Down into our presence. So send up praise and let Jesus step in!

iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

  18. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

I will trust and not be afraid because He is everything I need. It would have been enough to become my salvation and my strength, but He also became my song, my form of worship. So how could I not turn back to give Him all that I have?!

  19. 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

May I say this every day, Lord I will Praise thee, you where angry with me, but it is turned away and you comfort me. God is my salvation in him will I trust and not be afraid for the Lord Jesus is my strength and my song he has also become my salvation. So that I may draw with joy of the the wells if salvation and speak about him with boldness.

  21. I’ve often gone to this passage of Isaiah when describing the significance of the prophecy that his name would be called Emmanuel versus the angel’s command that they should call his name Jesus. We see many compound names of God in the old testament. Sometimes they are literally translated, such as Jehovah-Shalom, or Jehovah-Jirah. As often as not however they are left in their literal form, so the passage remains as God is our peace or God is our strength, and we’ll read them and recognize the characteristic of God even if it isn’t translated as a compound name that highlights his nature.

So when the Jews received the revelation that God was going to be with them, it was most exciting! What greater attribute would they want to celebrate than the very God of heaven walking among them! He would be called ‘God with us’, which is transliterated as ‘Emmanuel’. And if that doesn’t preach one God, then they just aren’t willing to listen! As great as that revelation was however, there was still a greater revelation to be had from God!

Jesus is the compound transliteration of Jehovah and salvation! It literally means ‘Jehovah is salvation’ or ‘Jehovah is become salvation’. He is the salvation for all the world and when we make that individual choice to follow him, he becomes salvation for us! The Jews associated salvation with their sacrifice in the temple, so they may not have appreciated these words of Isaiah, but what the angels spoke was not something new or different. Look to what was prophesied!

‘Behold, God is my salvation (Jesus!); I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation (Jesus!). Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.’ And so the angels were indeed following the prophecy God had given Isaiah! Yes, the very God of heaven walked among us, but his purpose in doing so was that we might be saved!

  22. Josiah: 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Why are we scared sometimes when the Lord is our strength? We do not need to be fearful of things when the God who made the heavens and the Earth is on our side. Not only is He our strength and salvation He is our song. He is my song of joy. He is my song of victory. He is my song of overcoming. He is my song of strength. With Him I can do these things and many more. Matthew 19:26 says “…but with God all things are possible.” So, let us GO TRUST in the LORD!

  23. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

  24. 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

I will praise thee even when I am being disciplined, it’s is my Comfort that the Lord is beside me.

  25. 2. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JE-HO’-VAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Thank you Jesus for salvation !!!!

  26. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

God is my light and my salvation whom shall i be afraid!

  27. 2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

Way before God revealed his name Jesus to man kind he had revealed himself as savior. Salvation in that time was not just emotional and spiritual, but physical. Times are definitely different then in those days.

We have the privilege to known his name. Jesus, the savior of the world.

  28. .

2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Those wells of salvation sound like the only living water there is, the Holy Spirit. Be filled today and have life and joy

  29. And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

  30. Isaiah12:6 (English Amp) Cry aloud and shout joyfully, you women and inhabitants of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel. I will cry out and give the praises for everything he has done for me.And I will always give him thanks for his salvation. The is day that will rejoice and be glad in it. His name should always be lifted up and to be exalted to the highest.

  31. in the midst of our well being and even in the midst of our troubles and misfortunes we should remember he is God and praise him for he is and he will always be God and thank him for what he has already done that’s gonna manifest in the midst of all your troubles.

  32. Their song of praise rebounds with the knowledge that God is the source of all good in their lives. Their spiritual perspective changes, and they know joy again. Isaiah wants to give hope and meaning to the people as they experience suffering, so he explains how they’ll feel once God’s judgment has passed and they live in righteousness. After enduring hardship and allowing it to reshape them, they will be relieved and grateful for what God has accomplished to transform them.

  33. 1 And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

He’s turning my sorrow into joy.
Everyday I wake up is a second chance I have been given. God is teaching me how to trust Him and how to trust the people around me.
