Isaiah 13
1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.
14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.
19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

I pray we can reach those who are seeking for the Truth. They are amongst us daily. We must ask God to lead us to the hungry. They could be right in front of us and we have the answer. Yes soon this world will be destroyed we must reach the lost daily reaching for a soul. In Jesus Name let us see with His Eyes,Hear with His Ears,Speak with His mouth, Touch with His Hands in Jesus Name.

Believing in the GRACE of JESUS is a beautiful privilege. His GRACE supplies us with HOPE, PEACE and JOY in an evil world. The GRACE of JESUS provides us with the HOPE of Eternity with HIM in HIS Kingdom.We have another opportunity or reason to live our life for JESUS.
Seeing that we believe in the GRACE of GOD, we must also believe in the judgment of GOD. This is the means that JESUS chose from the foundation of the world to grant liberty and freedom to and for HIS church. We must simply choose to be on the LORDs side.
Be ready by following the plan of redemption that JESUS established for mankind; being born again into HIS Kingdom.
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Once we are Born Again we are called to live for and represent the Kingdom of GOD as ambassadors to JESUS.

Now is the time to make your choice of whom you will serve. We cannot serve the world and God…it’s one or the other. This world declares evil is good and good is evil and we truly live in the end time. Be set apart or sanctified for the work of the Lord and be ready to lead someone to Jesus.
AMP 9:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the [e]Chaldeans’ pride,
Will be like Sodom and Gomorrah when God overthrew them.
20 Babylon will never be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation;
Nor will the Arab pitch his tent there,
Nor will the shepherds let their sheep lie down there.

Babylon’s time has nearly come,
And her days will not be prolonged.
Those who are enjoying the pleasures of sin for a season while chasing after the “world” (Babylon) will soon come to judgement. Pleasures of sin are only for a season, then reality will set in, but it will be too late.
I must check my heart and my spirit to ensure that I am chasing God and doing all I can to live right before Him. Judgement will come to all.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus because the things of this world will one day no longer be. Be ready and don’t be afraid to speak to the lives around you. They may not know the fate of the righteous and unrighteous, but we do. It’s our responsibility to reach them.

God is stronger and greater than we could ever imagine. He knows what we think and what we do. He is our God. James 2:19 says “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devil also believe, and tremble.” Even the devils know who is God. However if we truly serve the Lord then we do not need to be worried about the judgement of the Lord. So, let us GO FAITHFULLY and have our trust in the Lord!

The day of judgment is quickly approaching, but if we are truly giving our all to God, we do not have a reason to fear. But there are so many that have every reason to fear, and it is up to us to GO reach them!

Behold, the day we’ve been all waiting for when the Lord comes for his bride. He’ll show his wrath and how fearsome his might is and how he’s the lord all powerful. The Lord All Powerful has promised that everyone who is wicked and full of sin on this earth will be punished. Those who in the day of their peace were proud, and haughty, and terrible, are quite dispirited when trouble comes. Their faces shall be scorched with the flame. All comfort and hope shall fail. The stars of heaven shall not give their light, the sun shall be darkened. Uhose without spot or blemish who kept themselves holy unto the Lord following after him will rejoice and have eternal life.
Anyone who doubts the fierceness of God’s judgement in the endtime should spend some time going over the old testament examples. Although the dispensation of grace has certainly replaced the former covenant, the God that provided for both those dispensations has not changed. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Hear his words from the prophet: ‘And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.’
God has no intention of allowing the sinful vanity of man to prevail. He has been long-suffering towards us, for which we should always give thanks! Our goal however is to become as close to his nature as we can! Nothing in this world is going to survive his wrath, so let me surrender everything in my life that’s only eventually going to burn. Let me have a perspective that allows my heart to truly surrender to his will… not just to obey his will, but for my will to be submitted to his will! For the fruit of his spirit to so dominate my life that any vestiges of my former self are so trimmed out of my character that they almost go unnoticed! Instead, let his nature, let his spirit, let his truth and love be seen in my life!

Know who you’re Glorifying!

We all know the answer but are we all doing it.

Knowing for certainty that our Lord and savior is come to bring us home fills us with joy and anticipation. Knowing that there are so many souls who will not meet the Lord up in the sky but will have to face the wrath of God here on this Earth brings an overwhelming sadness and eagerness to tell those around me about the saving power of Jesus. It is more than just telling those around me about Jesus. My life must portray how his love, grace and mercy changed and is leading my life.; so others will want to give they’re lives to Him.Jesus is coming soon regardless of whether or not people believe. How many souls cried with regret when the rains fell and they could not enter the ark? Everyday is one day closer to that great and terrible day.We must continuously work to bring whosoever will to Jesus.

We must go through the fire and furnace to be purified. At times it feels as though you may not make it, but thanks be to God that he is in control. We need not to worry. We must be patience with the process of refining. It takes time and A lot of heat and fire.
3I, the LORD, have dedicated these soldiers for this task. Yes, I have called mighty warriors to express my anger, and they will rejoice when I am exalted.”
Ya see Pastor’s passion for the lost. He calls upon the congregation to be mighty warriors and bring the lost to church. For we the church are to be dedicated for this task. Let’s go bring them…

The day of the Lord is promised to come. When Jesus came the first time it was as a babe in the manger and the world was filled with hope, love, and peace. When He comes the second time He is coming on his warhorse. If folks dont have the Holy Ghost and have been baptized in Jesus name, the sword of the Lord will be unleashed upon mankind. We must stay ready.
praise him for he has already won your battles and you don’t have to fight them for that’s what he does as long as you accept him as your lord and saviour.

There is a day thats coming where everything can be shaking will be shaking . We often talk about about Gods love but what about his wrath. We dont want to be on the bad side of God but we are human and at times we dont make wise choices. Every decision we make it effects not only us but from generation to generation.
The day of the Lord is a cruel day (vs9). When God finally punishes the wicked. The prophecy is fulfilled when Medo-Persian forces conquer Babylon. However their is another day of the Lord to come when he returns for his bride. It will be a time for judgment and restoration. The friends of God will receive God’s eternal reward.

Isaiah closes this chapter by predicting that Babylon will be destroyed and will never be rebuilt instead it will remain desolate and shall never be inhabited
This chapter is a good reminder again of the importance of staying close to God. Never give up in times of distress, because He is right there to strengthen us and help us be able to grow and learn. All the trials and blessings help us to learn better what to do later. If we always stay close to God in everything then it will be second nature to stay close to God when the times get really tough. To stay close to God I need to be sure that I am always going according to His will for my life! I do not want to have the anger of God to be turned towards me or even to have His hand taken out of my life! In all I do I need to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Praise the Lord!

The grace of God is always every lasting and warns us of what’s to come to allow time to turn away from ways that are God

God can give a burden to everyone. I pray my burden is to build up God’s Kingdom, rather than to punish. For the measure they meted out was returned unto them. I pray for the lost souls and the souls that he has that they reach and continue to reach for him as he builds them up.

I Bless You in the name of the Lord Jesus!

The owl was known for inhabiting ruin and the satyr was known in that day as being a being or devil that was attracted to lasciviousness and desolation. This is where it thrived. When our hearts have turned and waxed cold toward the things of God it brings forth a level of desolation and ruin in it’s wake. You don’t have to have the awesome and terrible wrath of God turned toward you (even though Babylon surely experienced this). You simply only need to walk away from that guiding light and and choose to walk in the flesh and not in the Spirit. It brings a level of destruction, chaos, desolation, and lust of worldliness that attracts spirits to come and rejoice in your wrong doing. They dance on your behalf. I think that’s why when one is caught deep in the snares of sin it feels good only for a moment. It may just be those devil’s dancing in the presence of sin.
Lord, let us always keep our faces and our hearts turned toward you. In Jesus name.

There’s so much that sticks out to me in this chapter. The one word that got my attention is MOUNTAIN. God is saying GO to the MOUNTAIN and lift up the banner (claim territory) , raise your voice, wave your hands get their attention. God is calling His chosen warriors together and ready for battle. GO TO THE MOUNTAIN AND SHOUT A WAR CRY!
We must GO UP THE MOUNTAIN and tear down strongholds and LIFT UP THE BANNER OF VICTORY!
Give me my MOUNTAIN! Give me the prophesies that have spoken by prophets of old over Fort Worth! Lord, condition POFW for our prophetic MOUNTAIN! Let a spirit of love and compassion overwhelm us! Give us a renewed burden for our city!

The wrath of God. I pray he souls of this city turn to Jesus to escape such a fate.

Jehovah Nissi – banner of victory. Wave the flag of victory. When decided to follow Christ, a banner was raised that day! The problem is that we forget.
There are many promises in Gods word, and yet the trails an tribulations of this world take us. Did the risen flag abandon us, or did we abandon it?
Let’s get the spirit of QUIT out of our lives!

Verse 5 MSG “They come from far-off countries, they pour in across the horizon. It’s God on the move with the weapons of his wrath, ready to destroy the whole country.” This verse reminds me of the song “God Is On The Move”:

Judgement day will come and it is approaching very quickly. God will judge the world. The wicked and the righteous will be judge there is no getting around it. This is why we must find souls thats hungry and been searching for God for a long time. Win the lost there hungry!
