Isaiah 41

Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.

Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.

He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.

The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.

They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.

13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff.

16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel.

17 When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

21 Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob.

22 Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.

23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.

24 Behold, ye are of nothing, and your work of nought: an abomination is he that chooseth you.

25 I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon princes as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay.

26 Who hath declared from the beginning, that we may know? and beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? yea, there is none that sheweth, yea, there is none that declareth, yea, there is none that heareth your words.

27 The first shall say to Zion, Behold, behold them: and I will give to Jerusalem one that bringeth good tidings.

28 For I beheld, and there was no man; even among them, and there was no counsellor, that, when I asked of them, could answer a word.

29 Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.

  1. Praise Jesus! Lord have your way in my life I pray that I am not permanent, but you would mold me daily and reshape me daily in Jesus name! Lord I pray for peace every day and every night. Amen!

  2. 13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

When God is on your side or no one eill be able to triumph!
God is fighting for us pushing back the darkness, anything that tries to interfere with his work and his people he will raise up a standard. No weapon form agaist me shall prosper! All I have to do is Go and trust that he will provide!

  3. 18 I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

When we see growth and fruitfulness in the uncertain seasons we cannot deny that it was the hand of God. Think about it, plants and animals do not stop growing just because it’s winter or just because it’s summer. Once something stops growing it starts to die. It also stops reproducing.

I wonder if one if the many reasons God planted each of the trees in this passage of scripture was because trees give life and oxygen to the people around it? In the middle of a wilderness and everything seems so hard that you can’t bread rest assured that you can! I have learned to Inhale, exhale, and trust the Lord.

Lord, teach me to recognize growth in every season.

  4. Isaiah 41

1 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.

2 Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? he gave them as the dust to his sword, and as driven stubble to his bow.

3 He pursued them, and passed safely; even by the way that he had not gone with his feet.

Can any heathen god raise up one in righteousness, make what use of him he pleases, and make him victorious over the nations? The Lord did so with Abraham, or rather, he would do so with Cyrus. Sinners encourage one another in the ways of sin; shall not the servants of the living God stir up one another in his service? God’s people are the seed of Abraham his friend. This is certainly the highest title ever given to a mortal. It means that Abraham, by Divine grace, was made like to God, and that he was admitted to communion with Him. Happy are the servants of the Lord, whom he has called to be his friends, and to walk with him in faith and holy obedience. Let not such as have thus been favoured yield to fear; for the contest may be sharp, but the victory shall be sure.

  5. Isaiah 41:13
I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13

Help—-that’s what we need! If we bow our heart in prayer to Him right now, the God who cares for you will listen—and encourage you—and help you find solution. He promises !

  6. 10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (NLT)

13 For I hold you by your right hand – I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. (NLT)

We’ve got the power of God fighting for us and working through us! Hallelujah, Thank You Jesus 🙂

Isaiah 41:17-18 KJV  When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.  (18)  I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.

Wow, this is talking about the Baptism of the Holy Ghost! Who is dry and who is thirsty, the Lord “shall” hear them and shall fill them! The Lord fills all those who ask. We dont have to beg for the Holy Ghost and we dont have to “tarry” for the Holy Ghost like folks taught in the past. We just have to thirst for the Lord and He is faithful to give us the Promise! Let the rivers of Living Water flow from your soul!

  9. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

    Fear Not LOL
no disrespect but just knowing He the Almighty King says Fear Not
For the Lord is With me. LOL! If God before me then who can be against me!
If He us holding me and strengthen ing me I have no worries. For He is God,the Gid who created the universe and if he considers the llilies a mere flower and He watches over the little birds then how much more does He care for us. So I must not fear for He is with me!

  10. Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God, I will strengthen the, yea, I will help thee. Yeah, I will upload these with the right hand of my righteousness. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

  11. God’s promises are always sure! His confidence is irrefutable! And his declaration is ‘Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.’ Our assurance is not in what we can do, it is in what God can do! His Word is sure, it is not possible that a lie would proceed from his lips, his word shall accomplish what he pleases, and he has spoken to us!

With the confidence of God, we need not worry about the world, we need not worry about those who oppose us, we just need to focus on him! Of all those others he also has a word: ‘Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.’ His promise to us is eternal life. His judgement against those who oppose us is they shall perish. Before they do, they’ll be the ones ashamed of their actions. So let us continue to lift him up that he might draw all men unto himself. Let his light so shine before the world that they are without excuse. Let the confidence of God be seen in us!

  12. Isaiah 41:13
“For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

What an encouraging verse today to know that We Are Not Alone – God Is Holding Our Hand. We don’t have to be afraid – HE Is Our Help.

    Thank You JESUS!!!

  14. 10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. (NLT)

This verse has encouraged and strengthened me many times over the years. God occasionally has to remind us that he is with us and for us because its easy when were going through things to forget that. I am thankful that God on our side. “If God be for us who can be against us!”

  15. Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord , the first, and with the last; I am he. The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were afraid, drew near, and came.
    Isaiah 41:4‭-‬5 KJV
JESUS is the first and the last THE I Am he made pretty clear
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
    Revelation 22:13 KJV
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
    Revelation 1:17 KJV

  16. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

If God be for us, who can stand against us?

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  17. shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:

20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

God speaks with tenderness; Fear thou not, for I am with thee: not only within call, but present with thee. Art thou weak? I will strengthen thee. Art thou in want of friends? I will help thee in the time of need. Art thou ready to fall? I will uphold thee with that right hand which is full of righteousness, dealing forth rewards and punishments. There are those that strive with God’s people, that seek their ruin. Let not God’s people render evil for evil, but wait God’s time. It is the worm Jacob; so little, so weak, so despised and trampled on by every body. God’s people are as worms, in humble thoughts of themselves, and in their enemies’ haughty thoughts of them; worms, but not vipers, not of the serpent’s seed. Every part of God’s word is calculated to humble man’s pride, and to make him appear little in his own eyes. The Lord will help them, for he is their Redeemer. The Lord will make Jacob to become a threshing instrument. God will make him fit for use, new, and having sharp spikes. This has fulfilment in the triumphs of the gospel of Christ, and of all faithful followers of Christ, over the power of darkness. God has provided comforts to supply all their wants, and to answer all their prayers. Our way to heaven lies through the wilderness of this world. The soul of man is in want, and seeks for satisfaction; but becomes weary of seeking that in the world, which is not to be had in it. Yet they shall have a constant supply, where one would least expect it. I will open rivers of grace, rivers of living water, which Christ spake of the Spirit, John 7:38, John 7:39. When God sets up his church in the Gentile wilderness, there shall be a great change, as if thorns and briers were turned into cedars, and fir-trees, and myrtles. These blessings are kept for the poor in spirit, who long for Divine enlightening, pardon, and holiness. And God will render their barren souls fruitful in the grace of his Spirit, that all who behold may consider it.

  18. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

  19. Isaiah 41:10 (English Amp) Fear not [ there is nothing to fear] , for I am with you ; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am Your God, I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes I will help you up and retain you with My [ victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. Acts 18: 10 For I am with you, and no man shall assault you to harm you , for I have many people in this city. If we will do God’s will and put our trust in our Lord Jesus . We shouldn’t fear. FEAR is not in God’s kingdom .

  20. Isaiah 41:19 & 20 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and rhe myrtle, and the oil tree I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together. That they may see and know and consider and understand together that the hand of the Lord hath done this and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.
Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up, and instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up and it will be a memorial to the Lord. For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off

  21. They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

7 So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved.

8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

  22. Josiah: 29 Behold, they are all vanity; their works are nothing: their molten images are wind and confusion.
This world has it’s idols that leads to their confusion. They have their works that will be destroyed. However we have the Lord on our side. Psalms 119:105 says “The word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” The Lord guides us as this world blindly blunders on. The Lord gives us the chance to live for him which I do. So, let us GO FAITHFULLY in the midst of this world!

  23. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

There is power in the name of Jesus
    Look at those words
    Look at that promise
Trust in his word and know You can do all things through Christ.
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

  24. 6 They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.

One day, we shall all see that we are to do this at all times, not just when we want to….

  25. 1 Keep silence before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.

It is detrimental to your spiritual walk to work yourself silly and not allow our spirits to be renewed, we need to be refreshed and renewed. We have to learn to talked time away from everything we do and allow God to replenish our spirits. To examine ourselves and observe the spirit of the Sabbath

  26.  They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage

Encourage one another in the Lord. The opportunity will arise when you may need encouragement so it is a blessing to be one who upholds a brother. Share and help each other with Jesus.

  27. Although the world trembled at the presence of the one true God, the idol makes conjure up their best denial tactics and console on another. They rally the goldsmith to continue making handmade gods. Even more absurd, they nail down their idols so the Lord won’t topple them, but none of their tactics will work. Nothing can stand up in God’s wrath. In essence the idol makers set up a foolish, false reality by comparing themselves with themselves. Paul said in 2Corinthians 10:12 that when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise. The only true standard is God’s standard. Even today we try to create our own codes to live by, our own standards instead of God’s, our own sets of rules and regulations. What foolishness we too practice when we go our own way instead of God’s.

  28. 13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

We are not alone in our trials in this world, we have Jesus. And that’s who we need more than anyone.

  29. Verse 10 CEV “Don’t be afraid. I am with you. Don’t tremble with fear. I am your God. I will make you strong, as I protect you with my arm and give you victories.” As one of the songs that we sing says:

    God is fighting for us
    Pushing back the darkness
    Lighting up the Kingdom
    That cannot be shaken
    In the Name of Jesus
    Enemy’s defeated
And we will shout it out
    Shout it out

  30. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
    Isaiah 41:10 NLT

  31. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

  32. 10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. God will help you !!!!

  33. 9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I am his servant and he has not cast me away, he will strengthen, help, uphold me in the hand of his righteousness. What more uplifting is that to know all the support God gives me and all. But before and after his blood was she’d. What a Good we serve.
