Isaiah 57

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.

Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?

Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.

Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.

And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.

10 Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.

11 And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

14 And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

  1. Verse 13 CEV “Ask your idols to save you when you are in trouble. Be careful though—it takes only a faint breath to blow them over. But if you come to me for protection, this land and my holy mountain will always belong to you.”

Verses 18-19 CEV say “I know what you are like! But I will heal you, lead you, and give you comfort, until those who are mourning start singing my praises.[f] No matter where you are, I, the Lord, will heal you[g] and give you peace.”

Come and seek the Lord for he knows exactly where you are and what you need even before we ask as Matthew 6:8 says. John 14:27 AMP says “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]”

  2. 15. The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.NLT

    Psalm 51:
    17. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

    19. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.KJV

Repentance and sacrifice begin with rebuilding the altar.

  3. 13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

Turn away from your gods and your idols. They have no power to raise the dead, heal the sick, or open and close doors for you.
The God that I serve is the only true God and will deliver you out of trouble. He can turn any situation around.
He is a just God and he able to do anything! In him will I trust!

  4. Isaiah57 :19 English Amp ) Peace, Peace, to him or her who is far off [both Jew and Gentile) and to him who is near! says the Lord; I create the fruit of his lips, and I will heal him [ make his lips blossom anew with speech in thankful praise]. Acts2:39 For the promise [ of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and all that is far away, ( even) to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself. My God is the healer, The peace maker. My salvation of my soul. Come and be baptize in Jesus name.

  5. 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

We can never say that someone is too far gone. God is a good father watching a waiting on an opportunity to save his people. Although God does see everything and our ways don’t line up with his, he is watching not to just correct us but also to see us into the life that he has prepared for us. God is terrible at times but he is wonderful in the same moment. The scariest and most wonderful thing about God is the same thing…. He knows our hearts.

  6. Isaiah 57

    Dear John Letter
If you are not familiar with this statement it us when a young lady was no longer interested in who she was dating. Instead of coming face to face with her suitor she would write a letter of dismissal of the relation with him.
Someone else had caught her eye. Someway else had wooed her away from her love.

We must remember our first love and not allow anything anyone to come in between our relationship with Him. We cannot allow any sweet talk of the world or glamor and glitter that the enemy portrays and even false religions to woo you away from your first love. . His love supercedes anything the world has to offer.
So don’t right a dear John Letter to Jesus for there is no love like His love.

    Verse 11
“Who talked you into the pursuit of this nonsense,
    leaving me high and dry,
    forgetting you ever knew me?

  7. 20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Rest is found in Jesus and his rest is peace upon peace. The water of Jesus is smooth as silk and is like a flowing river out of our spirits. The Holy Ghost is so mighty and powerful! The lord is my strength I pray that his kingdom would come down today in Jesus name!

  8. 13 When you cry out for help, let your collection of idols save you! The wind will carry all of them off, a mere breath will blow them away. But the man who makes me his refuge will inherit the land and possess my holy mountain.

15 For this is what the high and lofty One says – he who lives forever, whose name is holy: ” I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”

Isaiah 57:15 KJV  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Notice the contrast here. God declares that He is the High and Lofty One but he desires to dwell among the humble and contrite ones. When we as humans allow ourselves to be full of pride and arrogance, we immediately take ourselves out from under the protection of the Almighty God. God has very little patience for those who lift themselves up, so let’s all stay on the good side of Jesus.

  10. GO IN PEACE

20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

The plan and will of GOD seems simple to those that seek TRUTH and live RIGHTEOUS. People that frequently find themselves in turbulent times and rough situations will be wise to seek the LORD to see if their ways are displeasing to the LORD.

The word wicked means guilty of sin against GOD or man. We cannot disrespect GOD and expect him to respect us and we cannot disrespect man and expect GOD to respect us.

GOD, the author and finisher of our FAITH says that HE will not permit or allow peace to the wicked. Turbulant and troublesome times; feelings, emotions, relationships, will all become the way of life for the wicked.

The antidote is to REPENT. Repent toward GOD and man. Seek the LORD and call upon HIS name. Submit to HIS will and ways. Then we GO IN PEACE with the GOD of PEACE.

  11. fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

In the beginning of this passage God is making it clear how angry He is at His people for their sins… but in the same breath God then begins to show love and speak healing to those same people. God’s wrath is just for a moment and if we repent and seek His forgiveness he is faithful and just to forgive us.

  12. 1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

None considering…… there is a saying that my grandpa says, “Mala hierba nunca muere”
it’s not a true saying but it reminds me of the “none consisting”. When a loved one is taken away it is sad and some times devastating. There is a point of resignation and just knowing that there is a chance that we may see each other in heaven is of great consolation!!!

  13. 1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Never will we understand the things GOD does but this verse bring Comfort to know that the people of GOD are in a better place
This whole chapter god they rejected God and went to always hoping that their god would save them but note the only GOD the can save is JESUS christ ever thought they worship other gods GOD still forgive the yes he was angry and destroy everything but it say for his angry short
I believe the purpose of this chapter is choose what GOD you server today will you server the GOD that bring peace and blessings ,life and healing, joy ,and laughter, or will you server the gods the bring death, hate, destruction , Darkness,
An idol – is anything that you put above GOD and that you worship
So today GOD I choose not to be slothful and make you the center of my life and pray that my family and friends will to

  14. 18 I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn,
19 bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.
20 “But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt.
21 There is no peace for the wicked,” says my God. (NLT)

God will always extend his hand of mercy, He will always comfort and bring peace to his people… but as verse 20 says, not those who continuously reject Him. God will not force Himself on anyone, it’s our choice to repent and allow ourselves to be lead by God.

  15. “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”

This makes my heart hurt because there is so much wicked in this world yet they can’t find the peace. Their only hope is Jesus!! Jesus is the only one that can give them that rest and peace! It hurts me that so many people don’t want God but all I can do is pray for them and cover them with the blood of Jesus and hope that one day they’ll completely give their lives to Jesus! We have to compel them so that the house of God May be full!!! Lord give me the strength to keep fighting for those that are lost and without you God!!

  16. 21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Some people appear to have it made. They have all the riches they want and the means to acquire anything that draws their attention. This group likely feel that life is good. Others, struggle all day just to make ends meet. Something happens to their vehicle and they must scratch and dig for the means to remain mobile. Nothing is ever easy.

The first group would seem to have no cares as they coast through life. The second group would seem to have all the cares of life pressing down on them. However, God says there is no peace for the wicked. I am not proclaiming all wealthy people are wicked. There are wicked people in all walks and aspects of life. I am putting two and two together – the “root of all evil” and those who are wealthy. From my perspective, the wealthy spend enormous amounts of time and effort dedicated to protecting the wealthy they have acquired. Always on the lookout for the next big deal or preventative measure to maintain the current holdings.

Those who have plenty trust in their plenty. Those who have limited resources are forced to trust in something else. Some choose family to trust in. Others chose reality altering methods to remove themselves from the pressures of life. Philippians 4:19 And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

  17. 20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

if you want rest stop putting your heart in this world and wicked things and put your heart in Gods hands

  18. 10 You grew weary in your search, but you never gave up.
Desire gave you renewed strength, and you did not grow weary.

We’ve all had a pesky fly at some point or another in our lifetime. Yet, those pesky little buggers will fly at the same window over and over again trying to get out.

When we are searching for joy and peace in the wrong places, I can’t help but imagine that we look like a little fly to God. If we are striving for peace or joy, we must first understand that TRUE Joy and Peace only come from the Father Above.

As Vs. 21 states there is no peace for the Wicked.
Psalm 29:11 “The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.”

If we would use the same determination that we have to do it our way, and use it for the Kingdom of God imagine the possibilities!

  19. Isaiah 57:15
“For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

  20. 1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

The righteous are delivered from the sting of death, not from the stroke of it. The careless world disregards this. Few lament it as a public loss, and very few notice it as a public warning. They are taken away in compassion, that they may not see the evil, nor share in it, nor be tempted by it. The righteous man, when he dies, enters into peace and rest.

  21. Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time…. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.
    Isaiah 57:1‭-‬2 NLT

Thus saith the Lord , the God of Israel…so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
    Jeremiah 24:5 KJV

Men are often prone to accuse God falsely because we do not understand His ways and plans. We seek always to have better lives in this world, as if this life was all there is. We fight to live, many times to the compromising of our own souls, even at times by compromising with the wicked out of fear of hardship or persecution.

Jeremiah told the people that the destruction of Judah was coming and that they should surrender as captives to the Babylonians, but they would not hear. They could not understand that their captivity was the mercy of God, sparing them from horrible destruction and working repentance into their hearts. They could not see that the invasion was for their ultimate good. They could not see past their desire to live well in the here and now.

Likewise today, we often bewail the death of the innocent and fail to acknowledge God’s hand in protecting them from the things that shall soon surely come to pass in the earth. Jesus told the disciples to “watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man,” (Luke 21:36 KJV). I wonder if they realized at the time that their martyrdom was an answer to their prayers, because they escaped the destruction of Jerusalem and found themselves before the throne of God.

Instead of kicking against the pricks and accusing God of treating us unfairly because hardship or loss has entered into our lives, we must train ourselves to dwell upon the fact that God is always working for the good of His beloved. He is always keeping His promises to us, regardless of how things appear to the carnal mind.

When we don’t understand His ways, we can always trust His heart!

  22. 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

  23. 12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

May I not be like the wicked whose works have no profit. But instead build upon the foundation that Jesus laid a building that will be laid how he wants it to be laid. Built how he wants it to be built with the cornerstone that the builders rejected. May my works find profit and glory for him.

  24. 21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
    What is Peace?
Peace is that feeling God gives you when he touches your heart.
Peace is, well let’s look it up
One definition says this- Peace-freedom from or the cessation of war or violence.
So what is the wicked? Because when I think of wicked I think of the Devil, I think of wickedness or evilness. I think of sin I think of war, I think of everything Peace contradicts.
So don’t be fooled by those that are wicked, those that are living in sin and enjoying the lust of the “wicked” way. Don’t allow yourself to be deceived by anyone that says hey it’s okay to do this or it’s okay to do that. The Spirit of Deception will snatch you up if you let it. So put the armor of God On and remember “thus saith the Lord there is NO rest NO peace for the Wicked”
GO today in righteousness GO today in Peace and show the world Gods Love let them see what true Peace is.

iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

  25. “bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭57:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Those that live in God through out their lives will once again be saved in time of trouble. Even to their death they will have peace.
“For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭57:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
But those that live against God and his will. Could also live a pleasing life. But in the end they will regret everything.
““But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt. There is no peace for the wicked,” says my God.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭57:20-21‬ ‭NLt

  26. 18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

People like to do their own thing, go their own way, and create their own path and ultimately reject all that God has for them, and then blame HIM when they can’t find a moment of peace. But the truth is, the only way to have peace, and I mean the type of peace that goes beyond all understanding, that type of peace only comes from placing everything into the hands of God and trusting HIM! Because when you’re relying in your own understanding and rejecting the plans of God, of course you are going to feel confused, hurt, and bitter! So we must surrender everything to God and follow what HE has for us and there is where we’ll find peace!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  27. Despite the sometimes considerable frustration at the dominion of the unrighteous in the world, God assures us that there is an end. They will not always enjoy the authority and prosperity they’ve managed to accumulate. There is another aspect of their choice which is sometimes overlooked that the prophet reminds us of here. ‘There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.’

The judgment of God does not begin at eternity… that’s why it’s referred to as our final judgment. The wicked may be lifted up, they may enjoy passing prosperity, even the accolades of those around them, but they just never manage to be satisfied. They’re ever piling up more and more, yet are unable to accumulate enough to let them rest, to allow them to be at peace. It is not possible to enjoy the peace of God while pursuing and partaking of the wickedness of this world. This passage doesn’t say they’re limited in what peace they can attain, it clearly declares that they have no peace.

Imagine that the next time you consider the prosperity of someone in the world and look to what they have… just imagine a life without peace. The collecting of possessions for possessions sake does not bring fulfillment. No amount of goods is worth the displeasure of God and the removal of his peace from our life. This same judgment is given to those who refuse the gospel… we retract his peace as we shake the dust off our feet. That’s why the desire of our heart truly matter! O let our soul be satisfied with him. In whatsoever state we find ourselves in, let us always remember to give him the thanks and the praise!

  28. A Message from the high and towering God, who lives in Eternity, whose name is Holy: “I live in the high and holy places, but also with the low-spirited, the spirit-crushed, And what I do is put new spirit in them, get them up and on their feet again. For I’m not going to haul people into court endlessly, I’m not going to be angry forever. Otherwise, people would lose heart. These souls I created would tire out and give up. I was angry, good and angry, because of Israel’s sins. I struck him hard and turned away in anger, while he kept at his stubborn, willful ways. When I looked again and saw what he was doing, I decided to heal him, lead him, and comfort him, creating a new language of praise for the mourners. Peace to the far-off, peace to the near-at-hand,” says GOD — “and yes, I will heal them. But the wicked are storm-battered seas that can’t quiet down. The waves stir up garbage and mud. There’s no peace,” God says, “for the wicked.” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭57‬:‭15-21‬ MSG)

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬ KJV)

It was His LOVE, MERCY, and PASSION for souls that He has shown. It’s what keeps me going everyday. I’m thankful that he has brought me out of darkness and Into His light. It is my prayer that prodigals come home. I never want to imagine His face could be hid from me eternally.

  29. 1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

    13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

Over everything in this world, I would rather be on God’s side, have Him be the one that I turn too, the one that I follow and put my trust in. Truly, He is the One who holds all power in His hand. He is the One that knows what every decision we make will result in. He knows and reassures us that despite all the world may throw at God’s people, that He is still in control! No matter the persecution or sorrow we may suffer, it is only temporarily, because in the end, God is the One who has been holding all power in His hand! He is the One that will bring that comfort and that peace, God is the One who gives us the victory over the enemy! Praise the Lord!

  30. 20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

We cannot and must not worry nor be troubled by the seemingly: wealth, prosperity, position and authority of those that choose to make the world and it’s fleeting trinkets their gods. It is so much better to rest assured with the peace of God in our lives knowing that the things of this world are temporal. Everything in it cannot compare to the eternal peace and joy given by Jesus.
Continuously putting away the all things of this world that will keep us from spending all eternity with Jesus will be worth it in the end when we see His face and hear his voice say ‘ well done thy good and faithful servant”.

  31. 0 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

No matter what happens with the people of God we will always have something on this Earth that no unrighteous person will ever experience. And that is peace. No amount of prospering or materialistic good can an unrighteous person ever experience the peace that passeth understanding. That complete Serene emotion when everything is completely chaotic.

  32. 18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

  33. 5 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

God hates pride, but He is drawn to those that have a humble spirit. Often I think God doesn’t allow things to happen like we think they are going to because He would not receive the glory if it happened our way.

Everyday we must check our spirit to ensure that we are aligned with Him and possess a contrite, humble spirit.

  34. 20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

IT is hard to live in peace when your ways are wicked. As humans, we do not know when we will die or when God is going to come back. So, those that continuously disobey God have to constantly look over their shoulder and worry about it they will be right when He comes.

The Bible states that “the steps of a righteous man are ordered by God” It would be wise for us to walk in righteousness and live with a peace of mind that we are pleasing to God and it doesn’t matter the day or the hour we are ready for HIs return.

  35. 21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

There is no rest (physical, mental, & spiritual), no comfort, no satisfaction, no lasting joy to the wicked!

  36. 13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

Those that trust in Jesus and do His will shall receive His promises.

  37. 10 You grew weary in your search, but you never gave up. Desire gave you renewed strength, and you did not grow weary.

We all have been at this point before. We say we are tired of serving at church. With so much going on in your life, going to work, going to school, taking children to school activities, paying bills, celebrating birthdays, car breaks down, doing the yard, etc. We do get drained, and never seem to have time for God, or give God what ever is left over in the day.

We must remember where we were before knowing God. Remember the healings, blessings, and miracles God brought to you. Ask God for renewed strength physically and spiritually. Regain the desire to serve God, and you will not grow weary.

  38. start singing my praises. No matter where you are, I, the Lord, will heal you and give you peace.(Isaiah 57:19 CEV)

We should not feel ashamed to sing praises to the Lord our God wherever we are at.For the Lord promised us that he would and will heal us and give us everlasting peace in our hearts.

  39. 20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Water is supposed to be refreshing and cleansing. We know their is no rest for the wicked and continually tossed about. The water of the wicked bring up mire and dirt. They are springs with salty bitter water (James 3:11) and they cannot exist at the same time. God wants us to flow with living water that heals, cleanses and renews.

  40. 15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

God is near to the humble; He is always ready go help. Sin is nothing but a fruit of pride for its always my way in my time in my terms till it separates you from God. Humility will make a person come to their senses I’m conviction and humble themselves asking forgiveness and repenting. We ought to be aware and not fall into the deception of sin that says to the flesh this is good. For the only one that gives good things is God. We must remember that he made everything beautiful in His time.

  41. 17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

  42. 20. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. 21. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. This is strong .
