Isaiah 62

For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

  1. 6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness

God’s professing people must be a praying people. He is not displeased with us for being earnest, as men commonly are; he bids us to cry after him, and give him no rest, Luke 11:5, Luke 11:6. It is a sign that God is coming to a people in mercy, when he pours out a spirit of prayer upon them. See how uncertain our creature-comforts are. See also God’s mercy in giving plenty, and peace to enjoy it. Let us delight in attending the courts of the Lord, that we may enjoy the consolations of his Spirit.

    Setting A Standard
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

8 The Lord hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

To serve in the courtyards of the King. What a privalage. The kingdom is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. To serve and to have the privilege to share,to watch and instruct those God is placing in our lives as leaders. We must set a standard that God ask from us. We must lead with confidence and know that God is with us. Lord I pray nit my will but yours. For the Kingdom.

  3. 1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

“We won’t stop til the whole world knows!!” Your desires are our desires and we will not rest until Your righteousness shines!

  4. iLove to Go Blog
BOOM! It’s all about the KINGDOM! (I thought you knew)

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

The Lord is Amazing and is Awesome! The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. The Gentiles shall see the royalty of the Kingdom of Righteousness! This is not like old school preachers who preached their whole congregations into hell and wouldn’t let preachers preach without wearing white shirts then go home and live like the devil…This is righteousness void of the pride of the Pharisees and full of humility doing “Right” all the time. This is the KINGDOM of God and He is our glorious King.

  5. 10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

At my bank, Bank of Texas, we are taught to have a higher standard of conduct. As long as we are not breaking any of our policies or federal laws, we can go out of our way to make sure our client is taken care of. We have one of the highest rankings in customer service, in the banking industry. But this is a carnal standard. What about spiritual standards?
In our church we are so blessed to have a Pastor and and his wife that want a higher standard for the Church of God in this area. We are pushed but the Spirit to do more, be more, and grow more. We work hard to be the friendliest church, we work hard to Grow God’s kingdom, we work hard on strengthening our relationship with God almighty. Our standards of conduct at our church are truly a cut above some others. I’m not saying this as boastful, but as a truth. We are a blessed church to have these standards because we are a blessed people.
Thank you Jesus for where you have placed me in my life at this church. You have called me to Grow and reach the lost. In Jesus name amen.

  6. 3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Putting our lives in the hands of God not only adds value to us but it also adds value to others. A crown on a shelf in a warehouse is nothing compared to a crown in the hands of a King. A crown in the hands of a common man is a dream but in the hands of a King is a reality.

Royalty takes the value of it and expands it further. Let us remember he has made us and we are heirs to the throne. So, the lives that He places in our hands are to be cared for and time investested into them so that they too will see the value of placing their lives in the hands of the King and become heirs to His throne.

  7. GO LEAD THROUGH

The LORD has given charge to GO THROUGH. Zion, most agree to be a reference of the New Testament church is promised salvation and strength from the LORD.

We are to GO LEAD THROUGH this world to prepare the way; through the gates, up the highway, gathering stones, lifting up a standard. Proclaiming the last days, announcing salvation and blessing. Living HOLY through the redemptive blood of JESUS.

Lets GO share this gospel with the world today.

  8. Isaiah 62:1
“FOR Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.”

It’s not time to “Keep Quiet” or to “Take It Easy,” but it’s time to GO and share the Righteousness and Salvation of God with others.

  9. Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch. The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord ’s own mouth. O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord .
    Isaiah 62:1‭-‬2‭, ‬6 NLT

    Thanks GOD For war prayed
Praying for my friends and family I am not gonna stop until I see them in church and I will continue to pray from then on
When they get baptized in the name of JESUS christ they will have a new name a name that no one on earth can take away

  10. For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

  11. 7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

we should strive to have the same desire and willingness to prat and zeal to see change

  12. Turning to the lord is extremely important . when you have the lord on your side everything is great even when you think it’s not so great. The city of Jerusalem is now a holy city. And the people are called holy people . the city is protected and if anyone even dares to disrespect a punishment is on the way . you want to have that same relationship with God just like the city of Jerusalem. . you want to be favoured by God.

  13. “They will be called “The Holy People” and “The People Redeemed by the Lord.” And Jerusalem will be known as “The Desirable Place” and “The City No Longer Forsaken.””
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭62:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬
I want to be known as that person that has pure joy. I have salvations do people see me as diffrent. Can they tell that Jesus has not forshaken me?

  14. 12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken

    POFW!!! FORT WORTH!!!
    IN JESUS NAME!!!

  15. I Love To Worship The Lord
    vs-1
Because i love Zion because my heart yearns for Jerusalem i will not cease to pray for her or to cry out to God on her behalf until she shines forth in his righteousness and is glorious in his salvation.
Still sustaining a sense of assured joy the profit commits himself to pray for Zion until the predicted day of deliverance comes

  16. Josiah: 6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,
“keep not silence” We should let our light shine. Matthew 5:16 says “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” God does not want us to be silent to this world. We should not be ashamed to be a light at our school. We may be the only light they know. So, let us GO LET OUR LIGHT SHINE!

  17. 1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

For the sake of the kingdom we should not rest or be quiet. We should declare the truth of the gospel to the world and shout it from the rooftops “Jesus is Lord!”

  18. Isaiah 62:2(English Amp) And all nations shall see your righteous and vindication, your righteous and justice not your own, but His ascribed to you. ALL all kings shall behold your Salvation and glory ; and you shall be called by a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name. Every tongue will confess that Lord of Lord and Kings of Kings and Lord’s of Lord’s . I will serve the Lord for rest of my life no matter what happens . I am overcome. We are victorious with Jesus . The name above names that will rule in my life and others. God will be always be here when nobody else is. So praise him and give him the glory .

  19. … and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee
    Isaiah 62:5

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth…
    Luke 15:7 KJV

Make God’s day: help lead someone to Him!

  20. 2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

  21. 9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord, and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holliness.

  22. :3 You will also be [considered] a crown of glory and splendor in the hand of the Lord, And a royal [a]diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God. (AMP)

If God considers His People to be a crown of glory and a royal jewel, why should we think them/us any less!

  23. 4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

    Forsaken

Notice the capitalization of Forsaken. Other versions of the Bible also capitalize this word. It is used as a name, such as Bryan. How dreadful would life be having a name of Forsaken, this is what your parents decided to name you – for all humanity to know who you are. I understand our focus is on the “no more” part but imaging life with that name.

No matter what our past was or present is – God has a better plan. No matter what people who know us have labeled us and expect us to be – God has a better plan. He allows us to choose for ourselves but if we search after His direction, the results will always be better than anything we can create.

  24. 11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

These scriptures show an interesting correlation. For verse 12 mentions two adjectives for two things. Second the city of Jerusalem, which can be referred to the church is called sought out, A city not forsaken. Which is what we need today. For people to seek and know to seek the church and not leave it forsaken on the side of the road. But the promise of Jerusalem being sought out does not come until after it’s people have been described. And verse 12 says they(not the church itself but people around) shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord. The correlation is that The (meaning one and only) redeemed (a synonym of saved) of the Lord, shall also be called The holy people. Which creates an interesting correlation equation. When the people of the city or church are called by those around The holy people and The redeemed of the Lord then the city or church shall be called sought out, A city not forsaken. May I take this scripture to heart, for if the church is going to be called sought out and and not forsaken then it’s people are going to be called the holy people and the redeemed of the Lord. May I do may part so that God can do his.

  25. 6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence,

Who is watching for our souls? The Watchman, Pastor, Angel of the Church has been given the charge to watch and pray. He speaks to us what God speaks to him regarding our Church. He sets guidelines for our safety to protect us from the enemy. He prays that we each build a relationship with God that will save us and keep us.

His task is not easy, it is not to be taken lightly. Pray for the watchman on the wall. Lift up his hands like Aaron and Hur did Moses. Cover your Pastor with pray so that he can give himself to guarding the flock God has given him to oversee.

  26. Jesus will give us strength in the time of need. There is no need to worry for God shall uplift us by his power. If God can use anything, he can use me.

  27. Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.(Isaiah 62:1 NLT)

As a man loves his bride God loves his church. Mount Zion is in Jerusalem, and is the place of worship. He will not stop praying and yearning until he obtains her and sets her free. He wants to see his church blaze with salvation and walk in righteousness with hearts on fire for him.

  28. 1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

God always has a plan for us to prosper he knows exactly what our need is. Blessings are about to rain on the righteous.

  29. 12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Righteousness before holiness. We learned this on our meeting today. The evidence is spelled out in this chapter. You cannot have holiness without righteousness. Some could appear outwardly Holy but lack true righteousness, but when you love you life in righteousness, convictions will bring holiness.

  30. “For Zion’s sake I (Isaiah) will not be silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness and vindication go forth as brightness, And her salvation goes forth like a burning torch. The nations will see your righteousness and vindication [by God], And all kings [will see] your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the LORD will designate. You will also be [considered] a crown of glory and splendor in the hand of the LORD, And a royal diadem [exceedingly beautiful] in the hand of your God.”
    ‭‭ISAIAH‬ ‭62:1-3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

When someone begins to align themselves with the word of God and become in right standing with the Lord it shows. Everyone can see the changes. Our heart to heart relationship with God will soon show on the outside.

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1-2‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  31. 2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

When a man and women are married the woman takes the man’s last name. Here the Lord is declaring his unfailing love for his bride the church. So it makes since to consider that the Lord himself will give his bride a new name. When we repent, get baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost we become a new creation, grafted onto the vine, adopted heirs, sons and daughters of Christ, friends of God, children of the King of Kings and our names are written into the Lambs book of life and he know us by name.

  32. Verse 12 AMP “And they will call them “The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord”; And you will be called “Sought Out, A City Not Deserted.” Psalm 107:2 AMP says “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,”. The song says:

What does it mean to be saved?
Isn’t it more than just a prayer to pray?
More than just a way to heaven?
What does it mean to be His?
To be formed in His likeness
Know that we have a purpose

To be salt and light in the world (in the world)
To be salt and light in the world

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
    Say So! Say So!

Oh that the Church will arise
Oh that we would see with Jesus eyes
We could show the world heaven
Show what it means to be His
To be formed in His likeness
Show them they have a purpose

It is time to GO….. “Say So”!

  33. 10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Go through the Gates, prepare the way… that is what the church is called to do. More so in this last days do we need to go and make known this gospel and truth and hope.

  34. 10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

11 Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

  35. 12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

When we say that we are worthless, we have brought our price down. All of us as humans need to know our true value. Our value was given to us when someone paid the price.

The price was Christ blood. We were redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. A price so high that can only be given as a gift, because there is nothing valuable enough to buy it with.

This is the name of the Harvest church, Sought out!

  36. 12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

We are the Holy people we are apostolics we are world changers we are the light
We are followers of Jesus Christ we know the truth we know salvation
We put our trust in the lord we have faith that could move mountains

    We are apostolic

The lord has a protection over us and it is time for revival and we will see the harvest. In Jesus name

No earthly matter will tear us away from the harvest that is to come, and my trust will be in the lord forever! His word and truth is embedded in my spirit. Fire of the Holy Ghost.

  37. Imagine the day when God declares ‘Behold, thy salvation cometh’! If there is anything in my life that would prevent me from being prepared on that day, my prayer is that God would help me remove it far from me. Nothing in this life is worth missing out in eternity. He is worth the effort, he is worth the sacrifice, he is worth the loss of any passing pleasure, he is my Lord and my God!

I’ve always found it interesting in those places in the Bible where we are referred to by others. Notice, ‘And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.’ This isn’t the church referring to itself, this is the world referring to us, and they recognize that the redeemed of the Lord would be holy. They called them the holy people… that means we can partake of the fulfillment of this prophecy! Not just a good people, not just ‘church’ people, but recognized and referred to as the holy redeemed of the Lord!

That is what those in the world that are hungry are seeking! We shall be sought out! They’re looking for a city, and people, whose builder and maker is God! Man has enough of his own religions, and they’ll all be forsaken. We need to allow the light of his truth to be evident in the world as only the holy redeemed vessels of the Lord can! Behold, Thy salvation cometh! Be ready, be prayed up, be pure, allow his light to shine for all those that are seeking!

  38. 11. Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zi’-on, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. 12. And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken. HOLY, HOLY, are you JESUS !!!!
