Lamentations 2

How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!

The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.

He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the Lord hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the Lord, as in the day of a solemn feast.

The Lord hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the Lord.

10 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

11 Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.

12 They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers’ bosom.

13 What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?

14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

15 All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?

16 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

17 The Lord hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

20 Behold, O Lord, and consider to whom thou hast done this. Shall the women eat their fruit, and children of a span long? shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?

21 The young and the old lie on the ground in the streets: my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; thou hast slain them in the day of thine anger; thou hast killed, and not pitied.

22 Thou hast called as in a solemn day my terrors round about, so that in the day of the Lord‘s anger none escaped nor remained: those that I have swaddled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.

  1. Verse 14 MSG “Your prophets courted you with sweet talk. They didn’t face you with your sin so that you could repent. Their sermons were all wishful thinking, deceptive illusions.” Same verse AMP “Your prophets have seen (imagined) for you False and foolish visions; And they have not exposed your wickedness To restore you from captivity [by teaching you to repent], But they have seen (imagined) and declared to you false and misleading oracles.” Same verse ERV “Your prophets saw visions for you, but their visions were only worthless lies. They didn’t speak against your sins. They didn’t try to make things better. They spoke messages for you, but they were false messages that fooled you.” Once again we are warned to beware of who we listen to and allow to speak into our lives. We heard it again last night, do not allow anyone/anything to lead you astray and away from Lord.

  2. 17. “But it is the LORD who did just as he planned. He has fulfilled the promises of disaster he made long ago…” NLT

He may not do it when we think He should, but good or bad, God always fulfills His promises.
Don’t learn this lesson the hard way; instead, learn from the testimonies of others so you don’t have to go through what they did.

  3. All strength of Israel vanishes beneath his fierce anger.
The Lord has WITHDRAWN his PROTECTION as the enemy attacks.
He consumes the whole land of Israel like a raging fire.
    Lamentations 2:3 NLT

Our pride and disobedience cause for the Lord to withdraw his protection.

  4. 17 The Lord hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

Gods promise/word is competing to pass, you heard the man of God last night. After reading what the Lord’s capable of doing nothing miraculous should be a surprise from God. We know he is MIGHTY and we have his spirit so makes us MIGHTY.
Go in the MIGHTY name of Jesus Christ
iBless you in the name of Jesus Christ!

  5. The Lord hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he hath stretched out a line, he hath not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together. The Lord hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.
    Lamentations 2:8‭, ‬17 KJV
GOD always keep his promise when said he going to do something he always fulfill his plan believe when the Lord said he will do something believe because our GOD doesn’t lie he always does what he said he will do

  6. All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it. There will be a strong delusion upon the enemy for the saints of God shall arise to strong victory. J SOLIZ

  7. Pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord says Lamentations 2:19
We need to be on our knees and learn to pour out our hearts to God more than ever before! God does listen. How painful are honest words! Job 6:25 Pouring out our hearts to God is exactly what we need, though, for God desires truth in the inner parts
Psalms 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

So pour out your heart freely to the God who is your refuge, your sanctuary, your safe haven.

  8. 5 The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

17 The Lord hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

  9. All your enemies Have opened their mouths wide against you; They [scornfully] hiss and gnash their teeth. They say, “We have swallowed her up! Certainly this is the day for which we waited; We have reached it, we have seen it!”
    LAMENTATIONS 2:16 AMP

Lord I ain’t got time to listen to the mouth of my enemy or the gringin other teeth
I just want to focus on you Lord.

  10. 19 Rise during the night and cry out. Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord. Lift up your hands to him in prayer, pleading for your children, for in every street they are faint with hunger. (NLT)

“Help me, I’m falling. Does anybody hear me calling out? I’m calling out for help! I’m in too deep to save myself. I need someone to help me! … Will you pray for me? Intercede for me? Reach down to me, be God’s hand for me, preach it straight to me, show God’s Word to me, fight hell for me, save my city streets – we need a hero!”

Revival anyone? This world is aching, there’s children wandering, souls searching, people who need us to stand in the gap!

  11. Lamentations 2:19
“Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.”

It’s time to Intercede. It’s time to pour out our hearts to God and lift up our hands and Pray for the lost, hurting, and hungry souls of our city. There are hungry “children”/people in every street of our city.

  12. 3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.

Often times something will trigger a thought from my past, and if I am not paying attention I could very easily end up in a trap, and fall prey to the same bonds of sin that I used to serve. We see here that Israel, did just that, as God has taken away His authority, and His power, yet they continued to backslide further and further, and He is now so angered that He is having others plunder Israel.

I have always been intrigued as to what is going on when The Word says Jacob, instead of Israel, because it is referring to the time in Jacob’s life when he was known as a trickster, liar, and thief.

    • NO VISION
9 Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the Lord.
Vision = divine communication, i.e. a dream, revelation, word from God (oracle), mental picture or sight (vision)
The wise man said, Without a vision (from God) the people perish. Yet, the Lord did send Jeremiah with a Word but the people did not receive it. When people do not receive the Word or truth or vision from God, it leads to their own destruction.

    • Good observation about using the name Jacob instead of Israel. As you noted, they went back to their old ways, hence the old name!

  13. 19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

Souls are crying men are dying
Won’t you lead them to the cross
Go and find them help to win them
Win the lost at any cost
Go out and win rescue from sin
Day’s almost done low sinks the sun
Souls are crying men are dying
Win the lost at any cost

Just the words to a song . I have to ask myself daily am I willing to win the lost at any cost? Our world is like Jerusalem broken down men, women, teens, children. Crying out desperately for help. If we look into their faces we can see it . If we open our ears we will hear it. What am I really doing ? Am I crying out for the lost? Am I seeking His Kingdom and not one of my own?
Search me today Lord. Lead me today for your Kingdom.

    In Jesus Name

  14. 1 How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!

2 The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

  15. THY KINGDOM COME

6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the Lord hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

The wrath/punishment of the LORD is quick and furious. GOD loves us so much and is hopeful for our willing obedience. It is obvious here that the disobedience of some people was the punishment for others.

As we pursue The Kingdom of GOD, let us be careful to expect the Blessings and Judgement of GOD in our lives.

  16. 19 Rise during the night and cry out. Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord. Lift up your hands to him in prayer, pleading for your children, for in every street they are faint with hunger. (NLT)

We should lift up our hands and our voices every day for our children. They need us and our prayers are valuable to their future. We must feed then with the word of God and keep it in our homes

  17. 14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

We can’t just hear what we want to hear or see what we want to see. The men of God must walk upright before the Lord to lead the people according to his word and we will know them by their fruits.

  18. 19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

REPENTANCE!!!! A cry of repentance unto the Lord for He is ALWAYS there!!! He hears the cry of His people and His Mercy endureth for ever.

  19. Give out heart-cries to the Master, dear repentant Zion. Let the tears roll like a river, day and night, and keep at it—no time-outs. Keep those tears flowing! As each night watch begins, get up and cry out in prayer. Pour your heart out face-to-face with the Master. Lift high your hands. Beg for the lives of your children who are starving to death out on the streets. (‭Lamentations‬ ‭2‬:‭18-19‬ MSG)

Death, Death, it’s everywhere! Daily we know of someone that has died empty, addicted, bound by sin. We don’t need to look far to recognize. They’re your own family members, your so called ‘friends.’ And here we are people of the gospel of Christ, Holy Ghost filled, have a building to attend to be un the presence of the almighty GOD, and yet here is someone else that has passed away into eternity. It truly is all about the kingdom of GOD and not our own. Merciful GOD, help me to daily reach for the lost, that I will be a bridge that can and will lead them to You!! Watch and pray, His Kingdom..is my purpose!!!

  20. The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces: he hath destroyed his strong holds, and hath increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.
    Lamentations 2:5 KJV

God desires to be our friend, our Shepherd, our guide, our husband, our Father. However, He will not always strive with man. Woe the day when our deaf ears eventually deafen His ears to our cries, when our hard hearts become reflected in His reaction to us, when God’s treatment of us appears more like an enemy than a Savior. “Be not deceived,” His Word says, “God is not mocked.” We will reap what we sow, if we continue to turn away from His mercy, His counsel, His truth, and His ways.

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord : They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
    Proverbs 1:23‭-‬31 KJV

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

  21. What is left ? Nothing but sorrow, memories,….
But God you are merciful and you hear the cry of your people, you are our only hope…..
You are the one who will bring Deliverance, forgiveness and joy
    Oh merciful Lord!

  22. iLove the Kingdom
7 The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary, he hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the Lord, as in the day of a solemn feast.

This scripture reveals to us the utter disdain the Lord shows toward religion. It was religious to go to the sanctuary, it was religious to keep the feasts and the traditions, it was religious to keep the sabbath, but all this did not impress God. In fact, it drove God to pour out His wrath because it was not done in a pure heart.

We must not think that God is impressed just because we come to church. God is interested in a relationship with each one of us.

  23. 15All who pass by jeer at you. They scoff and insult beautiful Jerusalem,f saying, “Is this the city called ‘Most Beautiful in All the World’ and ‘Joy of All the Earth’?”

It kinda sad, large cities like NY, LA, Chicago, and Detroit were once considered beautiful, iconic and leading the way for the future. Most large cities are now being ruined by “poverty” mentality. Many are looking for handout and cities look in terrible conditions. We have to have a blessed mentality so our city of Ft Worth will prosper!

  24. I love to worship the Lord
    vs-20
O Lord think! these are your own people to you are doing this. Shall mothers eat there children those that they bounced upon their knees? Shall priests and prophets die within the Temple of the Lord?

  25. 16 All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

When the city of Jerusalem us laid up in complete ruin their enemies look at them with scorn. Those who they thought were their friends are their foes. The prophets they loved to hear from did not see their iniquity and only spoke of good things they wanted to hear. Now no prophet will hear from the Lord. I would rather someone tell me the truth and it hurt and I repent then be told lies of great future with iniquity and death.

    Micah 7:8

“Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.”

  26. When we feel, like Israel, that we have fallen out of the grace and favor of the Lord, the response seen in this passage is really only one course available as we truly repent. ‘Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.’

If we should ever find ourselves in a place we never intended to be, don’t allow the enemy to isolate us there. Cry out unto the Lord in sincere repentance and allow him the opportunity to set us straight again. Let him know our heart’s desire! He understands our weaknesses but he only responds to our requests. We need to make our requests known unto the Lord! Allow him to provide the guidance and direction we need.

These examples are given to us for a purpose however. We don’t need to wait until we see the fruits of our failures in our children before crying unto God. By then, for many, it will be too late. Learn from their mistakes instead of our own and allow God to be there in our daily lives! That is his desire… and the course most profitable to our soul!

  27. 19 Arise, cry out in the night, in the beginning of the watches, pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord, lift up thy hands toward him for the life of the young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

  28. 5 The Lord was as an enemy: he hath swallowed up Israel, he hath swallowed up all her palaces…

Every feel like God has left you alone, I have. As an introvert, being alone is comfortable to me. I have learned to live outside my comfort zone to progress in life; marriage, children, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. The one relationship that was the hardest to build was with God. For a person who does not crave relationships, building a relationship strictly out of faith is quite difficult.

It would seem Jesus doesn’t make for a very good companion. He doesn’t laugh at your jokes. He doesn’t playfully hit you when you pretend to do something mean. He doesn’t show you something you’ve missed in class, or make an insightful comment about the news. He doesn’t dance with you or sing for you or applaud when you play him a song. He doesn’t hug you or kiss you or hold your hand.

He is love. Love trumps all. True intimacy with God leaves us with a desire for deeper intimacy. The more we know our God, the more we want to know Him. Paul said,”[For my determined purpose is] that I may know him—that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding [the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly” Phil. 3:10, AMP.

  29. “See, Lord , how distressed I am! I am in torment within, and in my heart I am disturbed, for I have been most rebellious. Outside, the sword bereaves; inside, there is only death.
    Lamentations 1:20 NIV
    https://bible.com/bible/111/lam.1.20.NIV

In our times of desperation we must always remember to cry out and praise Him. He is still there next to us even if we feel that he is not.

  30. Lamentations 2: 19 (English Amp) The chapter is saying Arise ( from your bed) , Cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up your hands toward Him for the lives of your young children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street. [ Ps.62:8] Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us ( a fortress and a high tower). Selah [ pause, and calmly think of that ] ! The more that we learn from God , The closer will want to be. To have a deeper relationship with him. His love endures forever. Keep on pressing through with God.

  31. 18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

  32. So thankful for Revelation 22:3
” There shall be no more cursed
For the LORD will fully and wonderfully restore the companionship that mankind lost with GOD in the Gardren of Eden.
I’m thankful for HIS MERCY AND GRACE!

  33. 18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

In these days it is so easy to become complacent and comfortable that we forget what upsets are God and how desperate we must be to have him at all times. Our complacency can sometimes to be a trap set by our own flesh, I believe that at all times our hearts and our Spirits must cry out to God because without him we will face the same fate of those that will faces Wrath.

  34.  17 The Lord hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.
18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

  35. 18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

  36. Your prophets have said so many foolish things, false to the core. They did not save you from exile by pointing out your sins. Instead, they painted false pictures, filling you with false hope.
    Lamentations 2:14 NLT

Say the truth and only the truth. For much as we want to protect or care for those that are close or we love, even if they get offended it’s better to tell them the truth that in it they may have hope for life through repentance.

  37. There are certain people that will not like you just because you’re a child of God. As long as you obey God’s word, he will take care of you. Fret not thyself because of evildoers. God will watch out for his people.

  38. 15 All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem, saying, Is this the city that men call The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth?

Once the “perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth” now standing in the wrath of God. Bro. Godwin preached an amazing message about not going back. Once we are beautiful walking in the perfect will of God it is up to us to maintain that place. Talent and vision is good but the provision of God is life or death. It is not time to revert to old ways and become an enemy of God but it’s time to sacrifice all for Christ!

  39. The unteachable

13 What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?

When there is no one that can teach you, there is no one that can reach you. We have to maintain a teachable spirit. Remembering that Jesus came as a teacher. He broke it down to where anyone could understand him. He also taught in parables that made you have to have a teachable spirit to draw the answer out yourself. Those that didn’t think they needed his teaching simply missed it. It sounded like the rambling of a fool. If pride guards your heart like the scales that fell off Paul’s eyes you will never be able to receive instruction. What thing shall I take witness for thee? Basically… how can I help you when you have already made up your mind not to listen?

  40. 10 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

Causes for lamentation are described. Multitudes perished by famine. Even little children were slain by their mother’s hands, and eaten, according to the threatening, Deuteronomy 28:53. Multitudes fell by the sword. Their false prophets deceived them. And their neighbours laughed at them. It is a great sin to jest at others’ miseries, and adds much affliction to the afflicted. Their enemies triumphed over them. The enemies of the church are apt to take its shocks for its ruins; but they will find themselves deceived. Calls to lamentation are given; and comforts for the cure of these lamentations are sought. Prayer is a salve for every sore, even the sorest; a remedy for every malady, even the most grievous. Our business in prayer is to refer our case to the Lord, and leave it with him. His will be done. Let us fear God, and walk humbly before him, and take heed lest we fall.

  41. 11 Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.

How bad do we really want to be a soul winner, how bad do we really want our families to come in to the house of God and receive the Holy Ghost we have to want it. Souls are on their way to the house of God now!

  42. Your prophets have said so many foolish things, false to the core. They did not save you from exile by pointing out your sins. Instead, they painted false pictures, filling you with false hope.(Lamentations 2:14 NLT)

We Christians need to be extra careful of anyone who comes up to us and says they have a Word from God. So we need to listen carefully because we know people of this world can also read the Bible, and easily misinterpret and mislead people that are really serious with there walk with God. The way we know if what they are saying is false is by knowing the Word ourselves, and testing the spirit of the person, and recognizing what fruit they bear.
