Ezekiel 3

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;

Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the Lord from his place.

13 I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.

14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.

15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

22 And the hand of the Lord was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.

23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the Lord stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.

24 Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.

25 But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:

26 And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.

27 But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.

  1. If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths. If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me. “If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. But if you warn righteous people not to sin and they listen to you and do not sin, they will live, and you will have saved yourself, too.”
    Ezekiel 3:18‭-‬21 NLT
It’s still our job to tell people about the gospel of Christ they some will listen and some will not there blood is one us if we don’t tell them about JESUS we can’t let day go pass with tell someone about JESUS
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
    1 Corinthians 9:16 KJV

  2. Verses 17-19 MSG “Son of man, I’ve made you a watchman for the family of Israel. Whenever you hear me say something, warn them for me. If I say to the wicked, ‘You are going to die,’ and you don’t sound the alarm warning them that it’s a matter of life or death, they will die and it will be your fault. I’ll hold you responsible. But if you warn the wicked and they keep right on sinning anyway, they’ll most certainly die for their sin, but you won’t die. You’ll have saved your life.” The Lord has placed certain watchman over your soul, are you listening? Hebrews 13:17 AMP says “Obey your [spiritual] leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you.”

  3. 10 And he said to me, “Son of Man, listen carefully and take to heart all the words I speak to you.
11 go now to your countrymen in exile and speak to them. Say to them, this is what the sovereign Lord says, whether they listen or failed to listen. ”

18 When I say to a wicked man, you will surely die, and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for his sins, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.
19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sins, but you will have saved yourself.

  4. 4. Then he said, “Son of man, GO…

    11. Then GO to your people…

    22. Then the Lord took hold of me and said, “Get up and GO…

    24. He spoke to me and said, “GO…

    23. So I got up and went…
    NLT

When God says GO, you must GO, but it’s imperative to be in His Will with His Direction and His Timing.

As I’ve heard elder ministers say about the younger ones:
“Some were called, some were sent, others simply got up and went.”

  5. 3:7 But those of Israel will not hearten unto thee; for they will not hearten unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardheaded.
    ( AMP)
Yet the house of Israel will be willing to listen to you and obey you, since they are not willing to listen to ME and obey ME.
For the entire house of Israel is stubborn and obstinate.
    ————
I believe the Spirit of GOd reveils to them that the TRUTH is with and in us, so because it’s clearly said: thei y will not listen to you, to me, to Pastor, so what happens then? They will leave the church, they will ignore your warnings, they will go somewhere else where they can hear what they want( delusion,…) not the Truth, not the word, not the real anointing gospel.
    I repent
    I pray
    I listen
    I care
    I go
    I do it
    I praise
A heavy burden was given to Ezequiel, but the hand of the Lord was there to
Strengthen him. He WENT, he spoke no matter what.

  6. THY KINGDOM COME
    THE PREACHER

I am thankful for The Ministry of The Kingdom of GOD. Without the ministry, I would be lost, hopeless or even dead and headed for eternal hell. But, because a Preacher had FAITH in the WORD of GOD, Confidence in their calling from GOD and Courage in their obedience to GOD. I have been Born Again and am being discipled into HIS Kingdom.

In The Kingdom of GOD, the sole responsibility of the preacher is to speak what GOD says, has said or is saying to, for and about us. As we read here preaching is paramount in the Kingdom of GOD. If the preacher fails to warn or say what the LORD has said, then the preacher is in danger. But, if the preacher obeys what the LORD says, the hearer is in danger.

It comes down to TRUST. Do you TRUST your preacher?

You trust your mechanic, when he says your car is unsafe and needs repairs.
You trust your banker, when they say this is the best account for you.
You trust your financial planner, when they invest funds for your future.
You trust your insurance agent, when he says you need this coverage.
You trust your doctor when they say, you need rest, this medicine or treatment.

Do you TRUST your Preacher when he says, the said Pray without ceasing, seek FIRST the Kingdom of GOD, give to GOD and HE will give back to you, read your Bible everyday, be faithful to church, etc.

The GOD called preacher is responsible to say what the LORD says. Then he is guiltless. We are responsible for what we hear.

  7. Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel–abib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days. And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
    Ezekiel 3:15‭-‬16 KJV

The amazing thing to me about the Old Testament prophets is their ability to wait on the Lord, hear His voice, and then obey wholeheartedly. Ezekiel had a charge, he had a target audience, but he needed the perfect timing in which to obey. He sat for seven days waiting for the voice of the Lord to tell him that now was the time to go. In our microwave society, many of us have trouble waiting 7 minutes to hear from God. Sometimes we give Him an hour, but if we don’t hear from Him by then, we’re up and on our way.

Other times we run with the charge without waiting for direction, without waiting for timing, or without waiting for the intended audience. We need to learn that God’s “go” is not always to the people we want to go to. Then we must learn that God’s promises and God’s charges are not always immediate. Finally, we must learn to be sensitive and to wait until all the pieces are put together in God’s proper order, and then to immediately obey all that He’s given us to do. God’s ways are perfect, and when we do things God’s way in God’s time there will always be a harvest, even if that Harvest is just in us.

  8. Ezekiel 3:4-5
    4) And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
    5) For thou art not sent to a people of strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel.

I pray for Missionaries everyday, but God has not sent us to foreign lands, but He has sent us to the city of Fort Worth. He has told us to “GO” into the city of Fort Worth and Speak His Word (Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ). Someone in our church once said, “The Mission Field is right here.”

A short testimony – When I first got the Holy Ghost at 16, I was upset because I had to go to school, and I thought I needed to quit school and go out into the world and tell everyone about Jesus. The Lord spoke to me and said, “You have a whole school of people to be a witness to.” In other words, The Mission Field is Right Where You’re At, School, Work, Store, Resturant, etc…

  9. 1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Lord I will consume your word and I will share your work to your people.

  10. 19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Thank you Jesus, I have been in church all my life. But that doesn’t mean I have been saved all my life. I thank God for the men and women that he has placed in my life to look out for me. To see when I’m getting to close to the edge, when they feel that I’m going in the wrong direction they will tell me. And , yes, there are times that I needed to learn a lesson on my own. Now that I am older, i look back at what was said to me, and realize more truths of what was said to me. If you are of younger age and reading this, please ,I ask, that you listen and apply those Godly principles that the Godly men and women around you are teaching. If you are of older stature, then I ask you to be patient as you once asked an adult. Remember how it felt and teach us what you have learned through your experiences. Will the younger always do what’s right, no. Yet they will remember those words that you have spoken.
A testimony- my father taught Sunday school for many years. There was a boy who had a troubled upbringing. My dad would talk to him and try to love him. This boy fought my dad and didn’t understand. As time progressed this boy would find himself in and out of jail. My father would be one of the only people who would go and visit him in jail. Finially after the final time this man got out of jail, he walked in to my father’s business and proceeded to cry and hug my dad, to Thank him for being there with him. Before my dad pasted away, they kept in touch and this man now has a family.

  11. Ezekiel 3: 17 (English Amp) Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at My mouth and give them warning from Me.
[ Isa.52:8] Hark, your watchmen life up your voices; together they sing for joy; for they shall see eye to eye the return of Zion. I am so thankful that I have a preacher that can put my trust into to him. He always preaching good messages from Lord. I have confidence in Him. Thank you for Jesus for a powerful pastor that watches over us and prays for his church family.

  12. 20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Sometimes we give the enemy too much credit. God laid the stumbling block before them ……. Every situation is either a test to see our commitment, or a test to see how we will respond to the situation. Either way we must be spiritually prepared, with singleness of mind that we are going to make Kingdom decisions and put Jesus first in all things.

  13. This passage is often used in admonition for those in the ministry, but the underlying principle can be much more broadly applied to any who call themselves children of the king. ‘Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears’

Before we can do anything in the kingdom of God we have to be willing to listen, and not only to hear what has been said but to truly receive it in our hearts. God is not looking for modern day Pharisees that look to the edges of the law for where to place their steps, but for a people after his own heart. A people who hear his words and respond. A people who are given over to his work and willing to do whatever they can to further his kingdom on this Earth. That is our purpose: to serve as ambassadors of God’s kingdom to all those whose hearts are seeking something more… but we cannot effectively reach their hearts of God does not have complete control over our own hearts. O let our hearts, our minds, our souls, and our strength seek to serve the King of kings in all we do!

  14. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

Psalm 34:8. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

    Proverbs 4:20 My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
21 Do not let them out of your sight,
    keep them within your heart;
22 for they are life to those who find them
and health to one’s whole body.

I remember like yesterday, the day that POFW began WordPress after our Pastor taught the message EAT HIS WORD!!! Since then we eat His word every chance we get. I am thankful that His word is ALL I need. Roman 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. STAY IN HIS WOR, EAT HIS WORD, LIVE HIS WORD!!!

  15. 14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.
15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

  16. 17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

We have been commissioned by God to GO and be His voice.what ever Thus sayeth the Lord is what we must say. Just like Samuel we must deliver his Word just as It comes from his mouth.

We should be counted privileged to be separated to do this mighty work. Son of man, if God has called you, do not refrain from answering the call.

  17. iLove the Kingdom
‘For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel; Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. ‘
    Ezekiel 3:5-6

It’s the strangest thing, but folks alot of time will listen to those from a far away country before listening to the man of God who is close by. God has to send our pastor halfway around the world to preach to folks the Revival Now message and they received it. Praise the Lord, I pray we would humble ourselves and would receive the Word.

  18. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
Oh that we would hunger for the sweet Word of God, devour it, and then live it.
[Psa 19:10 KJV] 10 More to be desired [are they] than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
[Psa 119:103 KJV] 103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!

  19. 4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Whether you believe you’re “called” to ministry or not you were still saved by grace. God encountered in your life for a reason, that reason just wasn’t for you to be saved and get a free ride to Heaven. We should wake up with the intentions of doing something for the Kingdom of God! We should be seeking those that are looking for that “sign” from God. You could be that “sign”.
I want to encourage everyone today to speak HIS words unto the people of Fort Worth, to the people of Texas, to the people of this Nation, TO THE PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD.

10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

Let us pray that those Stoney hearts are made Flesh!
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  20. 10Then he added, “Son of man, let all my words sink deep into your own heart first. Listen to them carefully for yourself.

As you read the bible and blog, let the words come alive. You’ll have a better understanding of the Word. Just like hearing, words go in one ear and out the other, and no comprehension is being obtained. You may have to read it twice, but it’s better to understand than not get anything from it.

  21. 21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned, also thou hast delivered thy soul.

  22. 4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

    5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;

6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.

  23. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. J. SOLIZ

  24. 17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

It is a privilege to be used of God but at the same time we have to be careful to follow God’s ways and his orders we do not want to take his goodness for granted and start doing our own thing.

  25. v18 When I say unto the wicked
Thou shalt surely die and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in HIS iniquity; but his old will I require at thine hand.

Masses of people every day are exiting this life and facing judgment unprepared. Our passion should be to reach as many as possible before it is too late.
Thank you Pastor,…for this morning’s teaching
Praying GOD’S will ,HIS MIND, HIS HEARTBEAT….souls!
    Thy Kingdom Come

  26. 18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

As ministers our responsibility is to give ourselves to preaching and teaching the word of God and not shy away from it. Our job is to warn the world as John Revere warned the Americans “Jesus is coming and we must be ready”! If we do that we will be blameless before the Lord. If not souls weigh in the balance and blood will be on our hands.

  27. 24 Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.

As much as I can enjoy socializing with my brothers and sisters in Christ.. Times when I feel good telling me to separate from everyone to spend time alone with him. There something about that drawing desire for alone time with Jesus. I know that’s not exactly what the scripture is referring to but this past reminds me of those times if just being at church by myself and taking to Jesus and how personable it is. Such overcoming feelings of peace and love…. That’s what it means to know God. When you desire time with him alone

  28. Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard a loud rumbling sound behind me. (May the glory of the Lord be praised in his place!)
    Ezekiel 3:12 NLT

  29. 1 And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.”

Eat his word and then go out into this world to save souls! We need to go into this world prepared and ready to fight with the word of God within us. We are warring against the darkness of this world and if we go out with nothing but our own flesh we lose, but going out with God on our side is victory in His name! We go in faith with God and his word as our sword!

  30. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require

Pastor said today the devil gets blamed for a lot of the pressure that God allows to happen.
Here the scripture said God laid a trap for them. That

  31. People are often influenced and swayed into thinking many things that were not their real ideas. Creative helps to get some people out of this situation when dealing with things. One way to get people away front their situations is preaching. We need to listen to the pr archer because God speaks to them to let them know about the message he has for them.

  32. 11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

Often times it can feel as though we are trying to reach for those who are disinterested in what the Lord is telling them. God sent prophets to operate as messengers of his Word of what was to come if they didn’t repent. Ezekiel could have turned back and said that they won’t listen so what’s the point of trying. He speaks out of obedience and compassion of his people.

  33. 8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

With Jesus we are stronger than anything we will face. Here we see that when we speak His Word some will try to butt heads with us but we can rest easy because we have Christ on our side.

  34. God has instructions for us that we need to follow if we are to see what he has for us. The enemy would love for us to ignore what God is saying. The more we obey the harder we hit the enemy.

  35. Then the Spirit carried me away. The Lord’s power had taken complete control of me, and I was both annoyed and angry.(Ezekiel 3:14 CEV)

Jesus promised the spirit as a permanent guide, teacher, seal of salvation, and comforter for believers (John 14:16-18). So the spirit which is the power of Jesus had taken complete control over Ezekiel even thou that Ezekiel was both annoyed and angry.

  36. 10-11 Then he said, “Son of man, get all these words that I’m giving you inside you. Listen to them obediently. Make them your own. And now go. Go to the exiles, your people, and speak. Tell them, ‘This is the Message of God, the Master.’ Speak your piece, whether they listen or not.”

When God gives you a word to speak you will have no fear. You will speak with a power that God can only give you. We cannot be afraid we cannot say well they won’t listen. We must speak proclaim what thus says the Lord in obedience and allow God to do the rest. In His Word there is life and hope for this world. We cannot withhold the message somewhere some one will be brought in for the Kingdom in Jesus Name.

  37. 18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Few really ever realize what they are asking for when they claim that they want to be in ministry….

  38. 2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
I will open my spiritual mouth and Eat the word of God daily and i will give it to others in the name of Jesus.

  39. 10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear

We cannot share something we don’t have the faith in or believe in. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. But if we don’t even hear and receive it ourselves we cannot go and try to reach others with it.

  40. 12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the Lord from his place.

This mission made the holy angels rejoice. All this was to convince Ezekiel, that the God who sent him had power to bear him out in his work. He was overwhelmed with grief for the sins and miseries of his people, and overpowered by the glory of the vision he had seen. And however retirement, meditation, and communion with God may be sweet, the servant of the Lord must prepare to serve his generation. The Lord told the prophet he had appointed him a watchman to the house of Israel. If we warn the wicked, we are not chargeable with their ruin. Though such passages refer to the national covenant made with Israel, they are equally to be applied to the final state of all men under every dispensation. We are not only to encourage and comfort those who appear to be righteous, but they are to be warned, for many have grown high-minded and secure, have fallen, and even died in their sins. Surely then the hearers of the gospel should desire warnings, and even reproofs.

  41. “”Or suppose a godly person turns away from his godliness and does what is evil. And suppose I put something in his way that will trip him up. Then he will die. Since you did not warn him, he will die for his sin. The godly things he did will not be remembered. And I will hold you accountable for his death.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

Lord, I pray that your Will be done through me. That your Light would shine to all of the people around me. That I would speak all of what you want me to say.

  42. And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat.
    Ezekiel 3:1‭-‬2 NIV

Every day my spirit needs to eat this Word because without it it becomes week and is available for the enemy to take me out. This Word is what will give me the strength, courage, hope, and power the be able to withstand the devil , fight and defeat him when he attacks my life. God is in every word of this bible and His Word is true and life.

  43. The cost of unspoken words.

18-19 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Is there blood on our hands? What responsibility do we have to other people? Is there a penalty if we do not follow the commands of God? If we understand the urging of the Spirit and believe that God directs our path, then we are responsible for what God tells us to do. Further, we have a responsibility to the rest of the world; we need to share the “good news”. I believe everyone of us has a sphere of influence, and that we are responsible for, beginning with family, friends, and neighbors, to give the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What if we do not warn the lost? Is there a penalty? I Corinthians 9:16 Woe (judgment) is unto me, if I preach not the gospel. According to Ezekiel, God will hold believers responsible for not telling unbelievers how to be saved, Romans 1:14-16.
