30 Days of Prayer – Day 23

ADVANCE THE KINGDOM!

PRAY for a spirit of love and unity among the people of God and that God would heal any divisions, hurts, and unforgiveness, because “if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand” (Mark 3:24).

Ezekiel 5

And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.

Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.

11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the Lord have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the Lord have spoken it.

16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it.

  1. “As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord , I will cut you off completely. I will show you no pity at all because you have defiled my Temple with your vile images and detestable sins. You will become an object of mockery and taunting and horror. You will be a warning to all the nations around you. They will see what happens when the Lord punishes a nation in anger and rebukes it, says the Lord .
    Ezekiel 5:11‭, ‬15 NLT
    This what sin does it separation from GOD these people the worship idols our GOD is a jealous GOD

  2. Verse 7 CEV says “So tell the people of Jerusalem: I am the Lord God! You have refused to obey my laws and teachings, and instead you have obeyed the laws of the surrounding nations. You have become more rebellious than any of them!” We just read in the previous chapter, this is what sin does. Verse 13 CEV “You will feel my fierce anger until I have finished taking revenge. Then you will know that I, the Lord, was furious because of your disobedience.” In the MSG version this chapter is captioned “A Jealous God, Not to Be Trifled With”. The decision/choice is yours; but, remember Romans 6:22-23 MSG “But now that you’ve found you don’t have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way! Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.”

  3. Therefore, as I live, says the Lord God, surely because you have defiled My sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you, My eye will not spare, nor will I have any pity.

  4. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
    8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
    9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

    Sometimes I wonder what God sees in our country, although we have had some rough times and part of this nation has done some wicked things, this nation was once a nation that stood for God and had principles and morals for the most part. I was reading a post this morning and this person complained of dealing with ungrateful customers in the US, a person replied to them and told them to not call if they needed any help with any wars, and al i could think about was how different the country in those times verses now. my point is this…that i believe our prayers can greatly impact the country we live in and the direction its going. the Bible tells us that israel will mount on the wings of the eagle (our nations mascot) and i dont believe its too late to intercede for this country to come back to a place where God is the center of it all.

  5. 13 “…Then they will know that I, the Eternal One, am the one who commanded all of this, for I jealously desire their devotion.” Voice

    We don’t serve a part-time God, and He won’t accept part-time followers. He expects and deserves full-time worship, obedience, praise, and devotion.

    Psalm 34:1
    I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. KJV

  6. Ezekiel 4:13 (English Amp) Thus shall My angered spent and I will cause My wrath toward them to rest and I will be eased and comforted. And they shall know , understand, and realize that I the Lord have spoken in My zeal, when I have accomplished My wrath upon them. God is a jealous God, There know time to be to waste . If we dont do what God wants us to do he will punish us.

  7. 17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it.

    An enemy of the King.

    When you become am enemy of a king, you have to run for the rest of your life. They will use an means to find and destroy you. That’s with an earthly king

    With our King, when you become am enemy, He is no different. The difference is is that he knows exactly where you are. He does not have to search for you. Don’t make enemies with the most high.

  8. Therefore thus saith the Lord God ; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
    Ezekiel 5:7 KJV
    Merciful GOD, that we will repent and turn from our wicked ways as a body in Christ. In Jesus name!! That the body of Christ would be healed, so that our nation can be healed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

    But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
    Psalms 78:38 KJV

  9. Becase of you detesteble idols, I will punished you like I have never
    punished anyone before or ever will again.
    Ezekiel 5: 9 NLT

    Our heavenly father( Jesus) love’s and care’s for us. There’s times that he has to correct our behaviors for our own sake. As a father I can relate to this. I desire the best for my children, but I have to correct some behaviors along the way.

  10. 1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

    That right there is just speak into my life.

  11. Because of your detestable idols, I will punish you like I have never punished anyone before or ever will again.
    Ezekiel 5:9 NLT

    For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
    Hebrews 10:30‭-‬31 KJV

    For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
    Romans 11:21‭-‬22 KJV

  12. 11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

  13. When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

    Do we want blessings or destruction upon your life. Like I’ve said many times everything bad that happens in your life, you can’t blame it all on God because of your own rebellion you stepping in to another realm that is not spiritual! Who are we looking to please? God or ourselves? God created us to worship Him, not revel against Him but because He loves us so much He gave us that liberty to live for Him. Thank You Lord!

  14. 11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

  15. 1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

  16. Ezekiel 5:6-9
    6) And she hath changed my judgment into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
    7) Therefore thus saith the LORD GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
    8) Therefore thus saith the LORD GOD; Behold, I even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
    9) And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

    SIN, REJECTION and DISOBEDIENCE to God’s word and commandments – they all bring the judgment of God into your life.

  17. 15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the Lord have spoken it.

  18. This chapter brings to my mind today a message Bro. Tallent preached several years ago “The High Cost of a Bad Decision”

    Israel, of their own free will, choose to be rebellious time after time. The end result was the wrath and punishment of the Lord, causing Him to withdraw His favor and blessing from their lives and scatter them like the wind.

    We must evaluate everything decision we make; how is this going to not only effect me today, but effect my tomorrow, my future, my family, my church, my children and their children. Their are consequences to everything we say and do.

    We are admonished by Paul to walk in the Spirit. Those that walk in the spirit do not do the deeds of the flesh.

    Lord, order my steps today and every day, my thoughts, my speech and everything about me so that my ways please you.

  19. iLove the Kingdom
    Ezekiel 5:11 NLT

    (11) “As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, I will cut you off completely. I will show you no pity at all because you have defiled My Temple with your vile images and detestable sins.

    Wow, look at these verses…These are amazing scriptures that apply to each and everyone of us today. The Word of God calls our bodies the “Temple of God”. With that being said, we must make sure we “keep out” images that would defile our minds. Anything that goes against God’s Holy nature and is spiritually and morally wrong should be banned from the Temple of the Living God lest we find the judgement of God (not the devil) upon us.

  20. THY KINGDOM COME
    MISAPPROPIATION OF BLESSINGS

    7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
    8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
    9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

    GOD Blessed Israel and Isreal refused to Bless GOD.

    Obviously this attitude and mentality yet remain today. We witness the favor and blessing of the LORD on people and the people refuse to return to GOD and worship. People choose to miss prayer, stop fasting, skip church, rob GOD in tithe and offerings. Then one day everything falls apart and the Blessings are gone, trouble is everywhere and hopeless prevails.

    We must be wise and repent. Calling on JESUS to save us. This is why we are so desperate and hungry for The Kingdom of GOD. While we are seeking FIRST the Kingdom of GOD, we are actively pursuing JESUS we are willing and obedient to HIS commands and requests. Lets go SEEK and FOLLOW JESUS as we hunger for HIM and His Government through HIS Kingdom.

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo

  21. “”Son of man, get a sharp sword. Use it as a barber’s razor. Shave your head and beard with it. Then get a set of scales and weigh the hair. Separate it into three piles.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

    Another “action” sermon! How extreme is God’s passion and communication to His people. Ezekiel was totally surrendered and fully trusted God! Ezekiel didn’t even experience the Holy Ghost has we do today and he had no issues surrending ALL and even being humiliated for Christ! Wow talk about seeking The Kingdom! Thy Kingdom come Thy WILL be done in earth as it is in Heaven.

  22. 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
    9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

    This is punishment and an example to others watching it. It is an example to us today as well. We must examine ourselves and correct the wrong before the God of heaven does it. I want to repent and send my sins before me, washed in his blood and not allow them to follow me to judgement. I pray the mind that was in Christ to be in me.

  23. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
    8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
    9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

    “Even I, am against thee,” For God to say that He is against you, that’s when you know you are IN TROUBLE! Let’s walk according to God’s will so that we will not have to endure the punishments that God sees fit for us.

  24. 6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

    Refusal Rejection of Gods Blessings

    Why would anyone not want the blessings of God, The people had a choice to serve with gladness yet they rejected God. They refused what God wanted to use as a blessing. We must know that His Word His commandment brings blessings. But we have a choice. Choose this day who are you going to serve. In Jesus Name

  25. 11 Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

    When we let God truly come and live in us, our bodies become His temple. We defile that temple when we allow bitterness, hatred, gossiping, lying, bad attitude, and any other sin to be apart of our lives. This is why we need to ask the Holy Spirit to help us live a holy and righteous life!

  26. 6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

    When a child of God turns what God has intended for good into wickedness it will turn his statues into judgments. It’s one thing to sin, but to ignore the call to repentance is to give way to wickedness to prevail. They have left sin unrepented for so long that they are now more wicked then the nation’s neighboring them. You cannot change God’s statutes to wickedness without judgment proceeding. In fact the Word of God is not to be added to nor taken away from. Keeping God’s statutes means staying faithful to his holiness and living holy separated lives unto God.

  27. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

    8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

    9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.

  28. 11“As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, I will cut you off completely. I will show you no pity at all because you have defiled my Temple with your vile images and detestable sins.

    Beware of your sins. At one point God will have no mercy if you continue to ignore God. The people of Israel will suffer punishment. They would rather die than suffer the pain. After so much suffering one can only endure so much.

  29. 1 And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

    2 Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

    3 Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.

    4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

    The prophet must shave off the hair of his head and beard, which signifies God’s utter rejecting and abandoning that people. One part must be burned in the midst of the city, denoting the multitudes that should perish by famine and pestilence. Another part was to be cut in pieces, representing the many who were slain by the sword. Another part was to be scattered in the wind, denoting the carrying away of some into the land of the conqueror, and the flight of others into the neighbouring countries for shelter. A small quantity of the third portion was to be bound in his shirts, as that of which he is very careful. But few were reserved. To whatever refuge sinners flee, the fire and sword of God’s wrath will consume them.

  30. His commandments say to ‘have no other gods before me’ and these people didn’t listen. He set their city at the center of the world and made it for them to be the center of attention yet they decided they didn’t need Him. They could do it all by themselves. I need You, Lord! I can’t do this alone. Let my light shine for others to see. I want You to be my centerpiece.

  31. God is not impressed with our rebellion but he is angered by it. He will eventually reject those that abuse His grace. Please do not mistake His grace for weakness or acceptance of wrong doing. But His Word has already been spoken and it should be obeyed no matter the cost.

  32. 13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the Lord have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

  33. 7 BECAUSE ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
    8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
    9 And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, BECAUSE of all thine abominations.

    A lesson in discipline, you will receive punishment BECAUSE……an explanation is given so all will know why they are being punished or judged.
    [Pro 29:15 KJV] 15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left [to himself] bringeth his mother to shame.
    It is not just the rod, but the rod and reproof (rebuke, correction, punishment, chastisement) or the reason why they are in trouble that gives wisdom to make a better choice next time.

  34. 7 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

    8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

    The scripture is clear here and tells us how we can get God himself to be against us. Therefore, the same should be true if one walks in his satutues and keeps the judgements of the Lord, the He will be for you. It can’t be more plain and simple than that. If we want God’s favor and blessing is our choice.

    When a man’s ways please the Lord , he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
    Proverbs 16:7 KJV

  35. 5-6 “This is what God, the Master, says: This means Jerusalem. I set her at the center of the world, all the nations ranged around her. But she rebelled against my laws and ordinances, rebelled far worse than the nations ranged around her—sheer wickedness!—refused my guidance, ignored my directions.

    God set us to be a light in this world and if we let this world affect us with rebellion we are refusing his way! When we go into this world there is sin everywhere yet we need to stay on the path with God to win souls! Accept his guidance and direction otherwise we’re lost with the rest of the world.

  36. When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

    We dont want the judgment of the lord in our lifes but time after time we dont take heed to Gods commandments. There is always consequences!

  37. 5-6 “This is what God, the Master, says: This means Jerusalem. I set her at the center of the world, all the nations ranged around her. But she rebelled against my laws and ordinances, rebelled far worse than the nations ranged around her—sheer wickedness!—refused my guidance, ignored my directions.

    God gives us commandments. These are not to hurt us or hinder us but to help us. We should be spiritually mature enough to understand that God wants to help us when he gives us guidance and ordinances not destroy us. It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance therefore we must repent for our bad attitudes and turn to God for help.

  38. It is not a good thing to have God against you. That is a battle you are sure to lose. We can turn God’s anger on us whenever we ignore what his word is telling us to do. When we follow his will, we come out victorious.

  39. You will become an object of mockery and taunting and horror. You will be a warning to all the nations around you. They will see what happens when the Lord punishes a nation in anger and rebukes it, says the Lord .(Ezekiel 5:15 NLT)

    God is humbling his people with the judgment of severe famine.They will mock them and ask were their God is now. The truth is that all of this is to get their attention in a big way to repent and turn back to God and what happens when you turn your back on the Creator of all things, the Almighty, One true God.

  40. “Son of man, take a sharp sword and use it as a razor to shave your head and beard. Use a scale to weigh the hair into three equal parts. Place a third of it at the center of your map of Jerusalem. After acting out the siege, burn it there. Scatter another third across your map and chop it with a sword. Scatter the last third to the wind, for I will scatter my people with the sword.
    Ezekiel 5:1‭-‬2 NLT

  41. 14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

    To know the Lord and to turn away, what a bad to put yourself…

  42. And along with the famine, wild animals will attack you and rob you of your children. Disease and war will stalk your land, and I will bring the sword of the enemy against you. I, the Lord , have spoken!”
    Ezekiel 5:17 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/ezk.5.17.NLT

    The price of disobedience will not only affect you but it will destroy everything you have including your family. Which is why we must always be obedient to Him and His word.

  43. A terrible haircut.

    This is why you don’t make the barber mad.

    God is a terrible God if you are against him. At some point God has to judge. When he does it is terrible for those who receive it. Jesus don’t let me get to a point that you have to start cutting me off or dividing me out. Let me always hear and obey your instructions.

  44. 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.

    One is being a sinner and not doing Gods will and the other is knowing Gods will and not doing it.

    It is like a slap in the face when sin willing,

  45. 12 A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

    All gone

    The anger of God is not a quick thing. There are times given for repentance and for change. People are shown mercy, but God does reach a point when enough is enough. Quick math 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1 whole. That means that God was pushed so far that everyone was punished. Let them all die and God knows why. Not such a good thought if your in one of the 1/3.

    Stop testing the waters. Stop pushing your limits. Stop trying to see what you can get away with and how far you can go. It might be that you pushed too hard, too long, too much and you die.

  46. You here so often about the love of God and we never want to forget that without his mercy and grace we would not be here today. Paul had to remind the church however that his grace was not a license to sin… and there are things that even God gets riled up about when he sees it amongst his people. We see one of those in this passage: ‘Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord God; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.’ His sanctuary is set apart unto his service. His people don’t get to define or ‘refine’ his sanctuary. We don’t drag the world into the church, we bring people from the world into the church so God can get the world out of them. When they enter his sanctuary we want them to feel something different, we want conviction to make them uncomfortable, we want God to have the same opportunity to speak to them as he did to us! So let God be true and every man a liar, let his sanctuary be a place where God’s spirit continues to move in a mighty way, just let God be God! Praise the Lord at all times!

  47. 5. Thus saith the Lord God; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
    6 And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
    God put the children of Israel in the midst of the other nations to show how He blesses a people that serves Him alone. Yet they chose to take on the world rather than be set apart from the world. This caused the hand of protection to become a hand of destruction to the children of Israel. How much more does God desire of His people today. He sets us apart to be a light unto this world. When we are serving Him alone and not this world, His hand protects and blesses us. When we willfully choose to leave that hand of blessing and protection for the fleeting things of this world; it becomes destruction for our souls and our children can be lost because of our disobedience. This world is not worth it

  48. 14 Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.

    Every choice we make has a consequence, unfortunately we don’t always understand the cost until it’s to late and it’s time to pay up.

    However if we flee temptation and live a holy live refraining from sin, our consequences are blessed. As the scriptures tell us that sin leads to destruction and death.

  49. 17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee: and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the Lord have spoken it.
    Rebellion is as witchcraft……destroy yourself by being rebellious, rebellion not only affects oneself, but it also affects loved ones and the ones that you surround yourself with……..
