Ezekiel 11

Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the Lord‘s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord God.

And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

12 And ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

14 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession.

16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.

22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

23 And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

25 Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the Lordhad shewed me.

Where Satan cannot persuade men to look upon the judgment to come as uncertain, he gains his point by persuading them to look upon it as at a distance. These wretched rulers dare to say, We are as safe in this city as flesh in a boiling pot; the walls of the city shall be to us as walls of brass, we shall receive no more damage from the besiegers than the caldron does from the fire. When sinners flatter themselves to their own ruin, it is time to tell them they shall have no peace if they go on. None shall remain in possession of the city but those who are buried in it. Those are least safe who are most secure. God is often pleased to single out some sinners for warning to others. Whether Pelatiah died at that time in Jerusalem, or when the fulfilment of the prophecy drew near, is uncertain. Like Ezekiel, we ought to be much affected with the sudden death of others, and we should still plead with the Lord to have mercy on those who remain.

  2. Verses 17:21 “Therefore say, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give [back] to you the land of Israel.”’ When they return there, they will remove from it all [traces of] its detestable things and all its repulsive things (remnants of paganism). And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch], that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they shall be My people, and I will be their God. But as for those whose heart longs for and follows after their detestable things and their repulsive things [associated with idolatry], on their own head I will repay [them in full for] their [vile] conduct,” says the Lord God.” In the CEV version these verses are included in the caption “A Promise of Hope”.

Proverbs 4:23-27 MSG “Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust.”

  3. Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them and take the Stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh. Then they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgements and do them, and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

  4. “While I was still prophesying, Pelatiah son of Benaiah suddenly died. Then I fell face down on the ground and cried out, “O Sovereign Lord, are you going to kill everyone in Israel?””
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭11:13‬ ‭NLT‬‬
I’m thankful for a man of God that is willing and able to say what God has him to say. Doesn’t hold back but delivers even when he doesn’t want to. His heart must be heavy at most times. His mind wondering but disciplined to faithfulness. Thankful for such a great leader.

  5. 12. and you will know that I am the LORD. For you have refused to obey my decrees and regulations; instead, you have copied the standards of the nations around you.” NLT

God has never intended for His People to copy the standards of the people around us. Now, as then, we are to look, act, dress, and believe different than those who do not know Him. As Pastor and Bro Woodward have been explaining, its not just their ideas as Pastors, it has been God’s plan all along.

  6. The Spirit said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are planning evil and giving wicked counsel in this city. They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside it like meat in a pot. ’ Therefore, son of man, prophesy against them loudly and clearly.” Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and he told me to say, “This is what the Lord says to the people of Israel: I know what you are saying, for I know every thought that comes into your minds. You have murdered many in this city and filled its streets with the dead.
    Ezekiel 11:2‭-‬6 NLT

As leaders we must remember that God Knows our heart and what lies within it. Which is why we need to biuld our foundation upon Him and His Word. When we lead and our foundation is not on Him but on our own will we can lead others to destruction and death. We can hurt more than we can help. I pray that we put our heart in His hands and developed a heart not only on His biblical principles but that God develop a heart with pure motives. We must ask God to give us a compassionate heart for people, a humble heart. The heart of a servant. Our responsibility is to lead them to life not to death.

  7. God’s purpose for his people today is the same desire he speaks to Israel. ‘And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.’

We often like to focus upon the heart and it’s desires but we should never forget that God changes our heart for a purpose. We don’t always recognize the fulness of his desire for our direction until we’ve matured but our steps always begin at his word. As we’re obedient to his word and continue to walk faithfully towards him we truly learn to place him in the position of our Lord and our God… and it all begins with a choice in how our steps will be ordered. As the wisest man on the earth would say: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Until that duty is fulfilled, we cannot expect to see much further than the edge of the path we’ve wandered from. So many want the greater things of God and yet are unwilling to make those initial steps of faith and obedience to his word. They never recognize that the easiest place to see what’s at the end of a straight and narrow path is in the middle of that path with your eyes set on the goal that lies before! A precious path, a glorious walk with a God whose love will take you as far as you desire to go… if only your feet will choose to remain on the path!

  8. Ezekiel 11:20 (English Amp) That they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be there God. As long that we stay under God’s commandments, Keep our heart’s clean out , Keep our flesh under submission. And do what God tell you to do. Lord you took my old stony heart and replace it with a good heart. I am so that thankful that you did this for me. You can do this for other’s., What you choose the Lord way?

  9. 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and I will give them a heart of flesh: that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances…
In Jesus name, same promise backthen , and it hasn’t changed. Same promise for today. God is the same yesterday today and forever. A heart of flesh, A heart with convictions, sound mind ….

  10. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

We live in a world where everyone claims to be a believer, but many of those people follow the way of the world but God sees the intent of the heart and the actions that follow. You cannot know what type of person someone is by what they claim but by how they live. How we live should be sending a message to the people that we do not carry the ways of the world, but have a higher power above us, guiding us with hope. The Bible tells us to have an answer for the hope that lies within us, which means our walk with God should express that.

  11. “Therefore, tell the exile , ‘This is what the sovereign LORD say : Although I have
scattered you in the countries of the world, I will be a sanctuary to you during
your time in exile. I, the sovereign LORD , will gather you back from the Nations where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel one again.
    Ezekiel 11: 16, 17 NLT

It took many years before this prophecy came to pass, but it did! The Lord is faithful, it doesn’t matter our current situations . If we believe what the LORD has said, we too will receive our promise.

  12. 13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord God! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
14 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
Who said that we shouldn’t ask GOD questions because He don’t answer Annnnnd who said MY GOD doesn’t exist, so therefore He couldn’t have spoken this for it to come to pass, right? HAHAHAHAHA!!! MY GOD IS ALIVE!!! HIS NAME IS JESUS!!! IT’S HERE!!! NOW!!! REVIVAL!!! I SEE IT, I SEE IT!!! HALELUJAH!!!

  13. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

    Having a heart after God.

I thank God for what he did on the cross. He took all of my sins and the the world’s sin upon Himself and forgave them. He went through pain and suffering so that I may be healed. He was beaten and made fun of, so that I can have victory.
I do not understand why anyone would not want to serve God. He is so amazing, he is my father, my first love, my everything. In order for His Kingdom to Cone in our lives, we MUST first fall in love with what He did for you and me on the cross. Thank you Jesus.

  14. I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
    Ezekiel 11:19‭-‬20 NIV

When a person’s heart has been pulled in so many directions by idolatry and distraction they are scattered and torn. They become hardened by the things of this world. Only when we commune with and draw closer to God are we able to truly feel with our whole hearts at the capacity that God desires us to. Compassion, charity, devotion… When we put down the stone idols of this world and put the Living Breathing God where He needs to be in our lives He revives things that may have been dead or grown cold. He removed those stone hearts and gives us a heart of flesh. A flesh heart is full of life and vibrance, compassion and tenderness, and a love and focus for what He loves. Lord, help me to keep my eyes on you, no matter how tired I get, or discouraged I become. Help me to remember to refresh myself in Your Spirit everyday so that I do not grow cold and I remain steadfast to Your Purpose. In Jesus name.

  15. 4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

Prophecy(naba)- a primitive root; to prophesy, i.e. speak (or sing) by inspiration (in prediction or simple discourse):–prophesy(-ing), make self a prophet.

There’s power in the name of Jesus especially with a little bit of faith behind it.
God has given us power and authority over every wicked thing! If you have a loved one that needs deliverance in their life it’s as simple as prophesying against that addiction or whatever it is they’re facing.
    Here’s an idea.
If t happened in the book of Acts you can guarantee it can happen today.
Start prophesying over your kids, your spouse, your job, etc.
Gods gonna make a way for you and me I can promise you that!
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  16. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Just as God wanted the children of Israel to put away and destroy all of the abominations and detestable things which caused them to be placed into captivity so that he could change their heart and be their God and they his people; he desires us to turn away from the things of this world.
We cannot serve both God and this world. It is so much easier to put away the things of this world and let God direct our paths rather than to continue to stumble through the darkness and wickedness of this world.

  17. THY KINGDOM COME
    UNITY AND MISSION

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.

The Kingdom of GOD is about the KING of Kings, our Lord JESUS. His promise to us is a New Heart and a New Spirit. We receive these through Repentance, when The Kingdom of GOD comes into our lives.

As we willingly identify with the Kingdom of GOD, we find ourselves aligned with HIS purpose and will. We by our choices and lifestyle choose to submit to the will and authority of King JESUS. King JESUS in turn identifies with us by calling us HIS. He is our GOD and we are HIS people.

THY KINGDOM COME is about us; the Church, collectively and individually becoming ONE with JESUS. ONE in Lifestyle and ONE in Mission.

    Lets GO

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

  18. 19 And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart.

Once you repent, get baptized and receive the Holy Spirit, you’ll feel just like this. Your old ways will change. The stubbornness and prideful spirit you once had, will be replaced with a tender, humble and responsive heart to serve God and others.

  19. The Spirit said to me, “Son of man, these are the men who are planning evil and giving wicked counsel in this city. They say to the people, ‘Is it not a good time to build houses? This city is like an iron pot. We are safe inside it like meat in a pot. ’ Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon me, and he told me to say, “This is what the Lord says to the people of Israel: I know what you are saying, for I know every thought that comes into your minds.
    Ezekiel 11:2‭-‬3‭, ‬5 NLT
We have to know that GOD know everything we can’t hide nothing from him these leader in this chapter were doing evil and wicked they were speaking word that GOD didn’t say
    GOD knows it all GOD

  20. 20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God. J. SOLIZ

  21. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

Lord I Thank you for my new heart and I thank you for the Holy Ghost.

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their0 God.

Lord I Thank you for the gift of the Holy Ghost that brings conviction into my spirit and help me keep me right and straight.

  22. 5 And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak… KJV
5 Then the Spirit of God came upon me and told me what to say… MSG

It is a wonderful feeling when God uses us to be His voice. It is hard to describe but there is no mistaking the feeling of when we are fully submitted to His will and we are in the right place at the right time and speaking to someone the words God is giving us to say.

  23. Ezekiel 11:18-20
    18) And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the destable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
    19) And i will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh.
    20) That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and i will be their God.

It isn’t until we REPENT and get rid of sin (detestable things and abominations) in our life, it’s then He will fill us with the gift of the Holy Ghost ( put a new spirit within us). When we get the Holy Ghost, He gives us a new heart that will cause us to want to walk in His statutes and keep His ordinances, and we’ll do them.

    Thank You Jesus for Salvation!

  24. Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

Prophesy!!! I have been reading a book that is called “Praying Circles Around you Children” and it has made me realize the power that my prayer has toward my children. It quotes “ prayer turns ordinary parents into prophets who shape the destinies of their children, grandchildren, and every generation that follows.” No one can pray for my children like me! And I was reading this I saw how my prayer cannot only change the destiny of my children but of this city! I am first generation Pentecostal but I know that there was someone warring for me that I don’t even know. So we must rise up and pray for what we want to see in the spiritual! We all have needs but I want to pray the will and favor of God. Let your kingdom come Lord! I know we will reach this city for your glory!!!

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.“ Matthew 7:7

“Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!” John 14:14

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

  25. 19 And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart,
20 so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God. (NLT)

Been alot of talk about prophesy and prayer lately and hallelujah has it set a fire within me. As I read these verses, I couldn’t help but think of people I love who have that stubborn heart and are in need of a new spirit. JESUS today YOU will SAVE!!

  26. 19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them, I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people and I will be there God.
21 But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images in detestable idols, I will bring down on their heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.

  27. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

    Message Translation
16-20 “Well, tell them this, ‘This is your Message from God, the Master. True, I sent you to the far country and scattered you through other lands. All the same, I’ve provided you a temporary sanctuary in the countries where you’ve gone. I will gather you back from those countries and lands where you’ve been scattered and give you back the land of Israel. You’ll come back and clean house, throw out all the rotten images and obscene idols. I’ll give you a new heart. I’ll put a new spirit in you. I’ll cut out your stone heart and replace it with a red-blooded, firm-muscled heart. Then you’ll obey my statutes and be careful to obey my commands. You’ll be my people! I’ll be your God!

    A Heart Tranplant
Only God can remove a stony heart. We allow pain disappointments anger sorrow
then the works of the flesh envy strife pride lust idolatry then bitterness at situations and the list goes on these things weave their self around the heart and and you find you no emotions left your heart ihas become like a stone. Oh but there is a God that can and will work miracles. For some it may be spontaneous for others it may be little by little layer by layer . Each time you allow His Hands to work on your heart. I promise you that if you will allow Him He will give you a brand new heart. He does something that no one else can do supernaturally and replaces your old heart with one that is brand new a heart transplant that now beats to the rythym of His Love. Oh how He loves us that He would show His grace and mercy and make us brand new.

  28. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

When the Kingdom of God comes alive in every heart, this is the evidence – their stoney heart will become a heart of flesh – a heart that responds to the beckoning and callings of the Lord. Many people say I will follow Jesus, but then when His commands asks them to do something they don’t want to do, they no longer want to follow Him. However, when He is the King of our lives, it doesn’t matter what He asks us to do, we will be willing to keep His status and commands.

Lord replace my stoney heart with a heart after you.

  29. iLove the Kingdom
‘and you will know that I am the Lord . For you have refused to obey my decrees and regulations; instead, you have copied the standards of the nations around you.”’
    Ezekiel 11:12

God desires his people to have “standards”. Just take a look at the Scripture above. It details the fact that God was upset because Israel had forsaken their standards and had accepted the worlds standards.

The word “standard” is an interesting word defined. It comes from a Middle English word that denotes a flag raised on a pole as a rallying point; and to “stand”.

Simply put, God wants his people to be different. He wants his people to be a city on the hill, he wants our “standard” higher than the world’s, he wants his flag to be lifted higher than the world’s. When our standards are lowered to the same level as the world’s, it disgraces the King of King and Lord of Lord.

God doesn’t want us to be like the world to win the world, we must lift the standard so the world will see Him High and lifted up. The higher the standard the more clearly the world can see where God is. Apostolics must reject the urge to loosen their standards, and must understand that God has made us different for a reason.

  30. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God ; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God ; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
    Ezekiel 11:16‭-‬17‭, ‬19‭-‬20 KJV

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
    Numbers 23:19 KJV

…the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
    James 1:17 KJV

Our God had a plan from the very beginning. His plans, promises, and prophecies did not change because of the idolatry of Israel. They did not catch God by surprise with their sin. God always has a contingency to fulfill His Word. Mordecai understood this and told Esther that salvation was going to come to Israel whether she interceded or not; it was just up to her whether she wanted to be a part of that promise.

No matter what the world or the church world does as a whole, there will always be a remnant through whom God will fulfill His plan. It’s up to us to decide if we will go against the flow–face the persecution, ridicule, and possible death, exile, or imprisonment–and be a part of that remnant, a part of God’s promises. Someone will be saved…it might as well be us! God has made provision for those who would “come out from among them, and be ye separate.”

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid….God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then AT THIS PRESENT TIME ALSO there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
    Romans 11:1‭-‬5 KJV

  31. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

  32. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Thank God for the change of heart, mind and direction when he gave us the Holy Ghost. It is the power of God to remove the sins that used to rule our lives. It is also the ability to continue to weed those things from our lives as we walk through this life living for him.

  33. This sounds like to me of being born again and recorded in the Old Testament…….

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

    “A heart for God”…….

  34. 2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

3 Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

The wicked are constantly devising mischief and seeking to undermine the things of God. What they don’t understand is that God is watching and will not allow that to go on forever. God’s judgment is swift and God will always speak to a man of God to preach against evil!

  35. 17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

  36. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

“God loves you just the way you are, but He also loves you way too much to leave you there”

I’m thankful for a God that takes stoney, hardened hearts and makes them new! He takes the desires we have for this world and gives us a desire for His Kingdom!! How great is our God!

  37. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
    Ezekiel 11:19 KJV
Thank God for an heart of flesh that is responsive to God! No longer hard as stone and rebellious.

  38. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Just picture the new converts, the lost that are on their way, and the seasoned saints, all walking in one heart, serving God as one being… WOW!!!!

  39. The multicultural church

17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

This is why ethnicity and race cannot be a division between us. God has been very clear about what His church looks like. It is various in race, color and creed. It is all tongues and kindred. It is the multicultural church. All fit in because there is no average or normal. It is the definition of a peculiar people. If God wanted us all to be the same, we all would be. I thank God that my church looks like Gods church. Let Thy Kingdom come!

  40. 12 And you will know that I am the Lord, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.”

We should not wonder why evil comes against us. When we willingly leave the hand of God, we are giving ourselves to the relentless attack of the enemy. There goal is not just to afflict me but given the opportunity, they want to bring death.

God is pleased when we keep His laws and commands because it shows that we fear him. And by fear I mean, that we revere and esteem Him to such a high degree would not even think of sinning against Him.

  41. 20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Pretty simple! Obey God follow his words and his Commandments .

  42. 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

The people have turned their own hearts to stone by following after the flesh with cold wickedness. It’s become a bubbling black caldron spewing vile abominations. They are so blind to godliness that they think they can continue like God isn’t watching them. God sees the inside of the mind down their heart and soul. God knows that they have turned so black that he will have to purge or prune the evil out of them quite literally. It’s going to be painful as he warns. However, these are his chosen people and he will not tolerate umholiness in his presence or in his people. The Lord wants to take their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh, then fill them with his Holy Spirit. He wants to save them, even in their wickedness, God still sees the good that will come.

  43. Ezekial 11:19,20
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be theirGod.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Psalm 105:45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord

  44. 18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

One heart and a new spirit. Without it we can never serve or love God. Life can cause so much damage to a person that their heart becomes hard. Thanks be unto God that His Word says he makes all things new. Old things will pass and will give a new spirit. I am remembered that when king Saul got anointed to be king over Israel the Lord gave him a new heart. Renew me, make me over and don’t get tired of making me Lord.

  45. I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; I will remove the hearts of stone from their bodies and I will give them tender hearts, so that they may follow my statutes and observe my regulations and carry them out. Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.
    Ezekiel 11:19‭-‬20 NET
When the heart is tender, GOD is able to the miraculous in any individual. It’s a heart that has surrendered to His will and not our own.

  46. ““When the people return to their homeland, they will remove every trace of their vile images and detestable idols. And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart, so they will obey my decrees and regulations. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭11:18-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I pray this is what would happen to every backslider. I pray they would come to realization of where they stand and know that it’s better at the King/Fathers house.

  47. When the people rid themselves of their false gods and lift up Jesus they are given a promise.

“And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭11:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Their hearts are changed. They are no longer cold and calloused. They have soft hearts that feel after each other and the Lord. They are able to do things through the new love that is within them.

“If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:1-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
    ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  48. PRAY for a hedge of protection and the whole armor of God upon every believer, particularly families…that God “deliver [us] from every evil work and preserve [us] unto his heavenly kingdom” (II Timothy 4:18).

I pleed the blood of Jesus! No struggle is to hard.

  49. 12 And ye shall know that I am the Lord: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

We must be careful if those that surround us they may influence us to do things that God is drawing us away from. Not everyone that’s around you is for you but we are to lead them.

  50. Then I will take away your stubbornness and make you eager to be completely faithful to me. You will want to obey me(Ezekiel 11:19 CEV)

We all know the Lord himself will never change hes Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.(Hebrews 13:8 KJV). God is our healer and if we plead the blood of Jesus over our lives and not cross that line and not go back to the things of this world and harden our hearts and make us stubborn. We show God that we will live for him little by little. He will mold us and structure us and take away from us what he knows that needs to be take out of us. Our hearts will be eager to be completely faithful to God and that we will want to obey him.
