Ezekiel 12

The word of the Lord also came unto me, saying,

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.

Then shalt thou bring forth thy stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and thou shalt go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.

Dig thou through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.

In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I digged through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.

And in the morning came the word of the Lord unto me, saying,

Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?

10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.

12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

15 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am the Lord.

17 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

18 Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness;

19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus saith the Lord God of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

21 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

22 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?

23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

26 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying.

27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.

28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.

  1. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

Sometimes we have to be reminded when God speaks to us, or things thats been prophesied over our lives will come to pass. God cannot lie, his word is forver settle in heaven. God never fail us. Its our own actions that hinder us from our blessings. Let us not be like these rebellious people. Our house will serve the lord. No matter what obstacle comes our way. We will encourage ourselves in the lord and serve him with gladness!

  2. Verse 28 CEV “So tell them that my words will soon come true, just as I have warned. I, the Lord, have spoken.” Same verse AMP “Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “None of My words will be delayed any longer. Whatever word I speak will be fulfilled completely,”’” says the Lord God.” Once again…the spoken word of the Lord, are we listening?

Hebrews 4:12-13 “God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.” Hebrews 4:12 AMP “For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged [a]sword, penetrating as far as the division of the [b]soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

  3. 2 Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth?
23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

I cannot imagine how much it took for God to brought to this point of taking away his vision of Israel. All the things he had planned for and had a desire to build with them, but due to their ways of wondering, he removed it. I pray we as a church never fall short of Gods vision for our future. all the prophecies he has given us, are up to us to see them through. God has never ceased to do his part, but has withdrawn when his people refuse to obey. The children of israel wandered int he desert for 40 years, when they were supposed to be passing through…If God has given us all these prophecies, then they will happen as long as we stay under his covering in obedience of our part.

  4. Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

J SOLIZ

  5. “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord .’ ”
    Ezekiel 12:28 NIV
God’s Word does not return void. For the Israelites to continue to doubt the Man of God in what the Lord spoke to him only sealed their fate further.

  6. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

Done; what He speaks, will be done. What’s amazing is that we have the same power when we are obedient to His word! Don’t prologue the situation any more, speak to it and watch God work.

  7. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

The prophetic word will come to pass. God is never to early or never to late. God is an on time God. I can only imagine how many people stress for no reason, I use to be one of those people. He would always make a way though, and always right on schedule. Gods promise is to keep you safe, to love you and always be that name to cry upon. Scripture says BLESSED is he that trusteth in thee. So trust him and your worries will be no more.

iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

  8. Ezekiel 12:2-3 (the Voice)
    2) Son of man, you are living among a rebellious lot. They have eyes, but they do not see. They have ears, but they do not hear. They are a rebellious lot.
    3) Because of this, son of man, act as if you are being sent into exhile. I want you to go pack your bag and go about from one place to another so that everyone can see you leaving. Then perhaps they will understand what you’re demonstrating, although they are a rebellious lot.

This made me think of the scriptures found in Acts 28:26-27.
    26) Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
    27) For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

As in Ezekiel’s time, as in Paul’s time, as in Our time (today), people are rebellious, and because of rebellion, people don’t want to see, don’t want to hear, and don’t want to understand the Word of God.
But like Paul (in Acts 28), we must continue to expound and testify the KINGDOM of GOD, and persaude people concerning JESUS. We must PRAY that God would open up the blind eyes, the deaf ears, and the understanding of people, so that they may be converted and be healed.

  9. 25. For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

    28. Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.

These verses reminded me of another time when God said that the time for fulfillment would not be delayed…by observing the times, the time must be short!

    Revelation 22:20
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

  10. 5 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.
28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.

GOD doesn’t lie when he said he going to do something he will GOD always fulfill his promise

  11. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

Sometimes, it seems we are stuck in-between God’s promises and reality. We know we are sinners and sometimes feel we have sinned too much for God to love us. We cry, we doubt and we wonder how long we can hold on to His promises. Likely, words have been spoken into our life. Words of healing, deliverance and hope. We have waited on God’s promises; maybe for years. Maybe God needs our help to fulfill these promises. This way, in case the promises do not materialize, we can pick up the broken pieces of our life and carry on.

We know that God does not lie, so it has to be timing for the fulfillment of His promises. Not only His timing but our timing as well. God may have a million dollars to give us. He tests us to see if we will be faithful with a thousand. If we pass this test maybe he gives us ten thousand. As parents we do the same. We do not give a toddler the keys to our vehicles instead of teaching them to ride a bicycle with training wheels. Why? Because we love them and God loves us. God knows that some of the extravagant gifts He has for us could hurt us if we are not ready and mature enough to receive them.

  12. THY KINGDOM COME
    DELIVERANCE

8 And in the morning came the word of the Lord unto me, saying,
9 Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?
10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.
11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.
12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

The Lord our GOD is a deliverer.

    IF

Through OBEDIENCE to the command, will and voice of the LORD we find ourselves in a place of bondage. We have an absolute promise from the LORD.

    DELIVERANCE

We must be patient and TRUST the LORD. In DUE Season we WILL reap if we faint not. Notice in verse 12:

    MSG
12 “The prince will put his bundle on his shoulders in the dark and leave. He’ll dig through the wall of the house, covering his face so he won’t have to look at the land he’ll never see again.

His face was covered, revealing that he did not know where he was going. Also, his deliverance was from a place of rebellion to a place of captivity.

    MSG
13 But I’ll make sure he gets caught and is taken to Babylon. Blinded, he’ll never see that land in which he’ll die.

I believe the LORD is saying it is way better to be in captivity than rebellion. Also, better to be in captivity than scattered. Submission is willing captivity, occasionally people say the church has too many rules, or is too controlling. However, we are Seeking FIRST the Kingdom of GOD and that is a purpose and a MISSION of a lifetime.

  13. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

  14. 27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.
28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.

The vision from the man of God

Without a vision, where are you going? Without a vision, why are you doing what you are doing? Without a vision, what is the end result you are looking for? Without a vision, who are you impacting? These questions are hard to answer if there is no vision, but with a vision and purpose they are easy to answer. Without a vision it is easy to get caught up in our every day lives. Living one day at a time with out purpose and value. Yet with God, when we follow His word and the vision of our man of God, Pastor, we then find value and purpose. Open your eyes to the vision, catch it, see it, live it. Thy Kingdom Come

  15. Ezekial 12:25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged : for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass
away : but my words shall not pass away.

Isaiah 14:24 The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

Obey His Word! God means business ! Judgment shall come soon, Be ready!

  16. Put the Bundle on Your Shoulder and Walk into the Night.
    Message version

Ezekiel 12 1-6 God’s Message came to me: “Son of man, you’re living with a bunch of rebellious people. They have eyes but don’t see a thing, they have ears but don’t hear a thing. They’re rebels all. So, son of man, pack up your exile duffel bags. Leave in broad daylight with everyone watching and go off, as if into exile. Maybe then they’ll understand what’s going on, rebels though they are. You’ll take up your baggage while they watch, a bundle of the bare necessities of someone going into exile, and toward evening leave, just like a person going off into exile. As they watch, dig through the wall of the house and carry your bundle through it. In full sight of the people, put the bundle on your shoulder and walk out into the night. Cover your face so you won’t have to look at what you’ll never see again. I’m using you as a sign for the family of Israel.”

Sometimes walking away is the hardest thing to do. Leaving family, friends at the alter . We have prayed we have did our best to direct to lead them ,now we must leave them in Gods hands. God can do mighty things don’t be afraid and don’t pray them out of a bad situation it may be what saves their soul. Trust God.
I had to learn this through a trying time in my on children’s lives but God did a better job than I could ever do once I removed my hands and said ok God they are yours. God is faithful.

  17. Again a message came to me from the Lord : “Son of man, you’ve heard that proverb they quote in Israel: ‘Time passes, and prophecies come to nothing.’ Tell the people, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it.’ Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one: ‘The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!’ “There will be no more false visions and flattering predictions in Israel. For I am the Lord ! If I say it, it will happen. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime. I, the Sovereign Lord , have spoken!” “Son of man, the people of Israel are saying, ‘He’s talking about the distant future. His visions won’t come true for a long, long time.’ Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord , have spoken!’”
    Ezekiel 12:21‭-‬25‭, ‬27‭-‬28 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/ezk.12.21-28.NLT

Visions lose their strength without actions to support them. No matter how many times God gives us a revelation or a vision, nothing will happen if we don’t do anything about it. We must begin to search all the resources available. We must look inside ourselves to realize and recognize that if we want revival in this city, we have to go and reach the lost. We have to do everything humanly and spiritually possible so this will come to pass. We all have dreams and visions but we need to feet and actions to them.

  18. AMP 23 Therefore tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “I will put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer use it as a proverb in Israel.” But say to them, “The days draw near as well as the fulfillment of every vision. 24 For there will no longer be any false and empty vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel. 25 For I the Lord will speak, and whatever word I speak will be accomplished. It will no longer be delayed, for in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and I will fulfill it,” says the Lord God.’”

Our attitude of “submission” vs “rebellion” hinders the vision that God has given us for this region to be accomplished. Oh yes, God can accomplish without us, and it’s proven in this chapter. He will send the “rebellious” to exile and accomplish the vision with people that are hungry and submitted.

I must align myself with Him so that I can be part of the great things God is doing and going to do. There are many unfulfilled prophecies for this region that are hanging in the atmosphere waiting for people to step up to the plate so that God’s work can be accomplished. I don’t want this generation to pass without seeing those prophecies come to pass.

  19. iLove the Kingdom
Ezekiel 12:22-24 NLT “Son of man, you’ve heard that proverb they quote in Israel: ‘Time passes, and prophecies come to nothing.’ (23) Tell the people, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it.’ Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one: ‘The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!’ (24) “There will be no more false visions and flattering predictions in Israel.

Wow, this scripture catches human nature and body slams it to the ground. God reveals the mind and thoughts of the people and let’s them know that the prophecies that had been spoken are going to quickly come to pass. God didn’t care if Israel believed they were coming or not, God said it and it was going to happen.

  20. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

When God speaks he means it and will perform it. We can believe His words. He cannot lie

    Ezekiel 12:3‭-‬4 KJV

For the WAGES of SIN is DEATH; but the GIFT of GOD is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    Romans 6:23 KJV

    REMOVING… CAPTIVITY… DEATH
Such is the life of the ones who have given themselves to the lusts of this world. Little by little, all that they have will be removed, sacrificed on the altar of their lusts. Honesty, integrity, caring, generosity give way to lies, deceit, sneaking around and hiding, selfishness, and a complete lack of concern for others. Then finance, homes, family, ministry, friends are all consumed as the lust leads to bondage. Those things that promise to add to your life (alcohol, drugs, “cool” friends, clubbing, gambling, pornography, adultery, etc.) will all too soon begin taking everything away from you as they lead you into captivity and/or death.

The devil is a lier: no man (woman or child) can control his lusts. They will eventually consume all. Once given into, the only freedom from lusts is death…whether natural…or crucified with Christ. HE is our freedom from the all-consuming lusts of this world. ONLY JESUS can set us free from our addictions, our habits, our proclivities, and our sins.

JESUS ADDS, SETS FREE, AND GIVES LIFE!
Thank You, Jesus, for adding to my life!

  22. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

  23. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.
26 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying.

Repeatedly we see the words “The Word of The Lord came” We must understand and remember that there is always a God-given word that will be spoken by a man in times that those around us are falling away. This word will align with the Word of God that is how we know that it is from God and then we will see the fruit of the word right before our eyes.

The word may come from us to a friend so we need to be ready and we need to pray that they receive it with a humble heart and change because the warning comes before the destruction.

  24. 23 Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

  25. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

Our God cannot lie, ever word He has spoken and every promise He has given will come to pass!

  26. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

We know that whatever God speaks is just and true. When He speaks life or death it is True and Just.

  27. 24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

  28. 6 In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou see not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

Every Christian, man or woman of God is called to be an example or for a sign to unbelievers.

  29. Ready to Go

God told Ezekiel to take his stuff and leave. He was supposed to do it in the sight of everyone. That was to be no question of who left and how they went. It was all planned. Ezekiel was even supposed to look like someone being lead off to bondage.

What we do is not always pretty. Sometimes we wish that we could do things in private, but sometimes God is making an example of us to other people. Just hold on and do what he says.

Get ready to GO for the KINGDOM.

  30. Ezekiel 12:2 (English Amp) The voice) Son of man, you dwell in the midst of the rebellious, who have eyes to see and see not, who have ears to hear and hear not, for they are a rebellious house. Mark 8:18) Having eyes, do you not see ( with them,)and having ears, do you not hear and preceive and understand the sense of what is said? And do you not remember? There are so many people in world that dont want to hear the good news about God, Lord I put these people in your hands.God has done so many miracles in my life, He can do in others if they will just believe it.

  31. God ’s Message came to me: “Son of man, do you hear what Israel is saying: that the alarm the prophet raises is for a long time off, that he’s preaching about the far-off future? Well, tell them, ‘ God , the Master, says, “Nothing of what I say is on hold. What I say happens.”’ Decree of God , the Master.”
    Ezekiel 12:26‭-‬28 MSG
Time….when you think you’re in control and you submit to no one, all I can say is be careful and don’t live foolishly. Your life, my life, is in the hands of The Almighty living GOD. Dios viene pronto!

  32. 2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

They have all they need because God have it to them, ears, eyes, minds and hearts. God has given them the tools they need to follow him, hear his words and see his signs he’s given in prophesy. Even if they didn’t understand what the Lord was speaking to them they never cared to search out his meanings. They hated to hear the truth… well because sometimes the truth just hurts. Sometimes we need the pain the truth brings to chip away the things that are not of God. Plugging our ears and closing our eyes to what is to come is denial and actually rebellion. To know good and do it not is sin (Jam 4:17). Sin separated us from God and leads to death. The word of God will accomplish that which he has spoken and not return to him void. Ignoring is walking willingly blindfolded to a death both spiritually and physically that will effect the destination of our souls eternally.

  33. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.
There are times when it can take years or even generations for God’s Word to come to pass but then there are times when His Word will be performed “in your days”. I believe the Word we heard tonight is for our days as well!!!!!

  34. 2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

    Acts 9:18
And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

    Job 41:15
His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.

You cannot see the Kingdom of God or hear his voice when pride consumes you. Pride is the frost and last step to rebellion.

  35. We must remove the things in our life that hinder us from doing God’s will. Everything that is not holy must be cast to the side. God gives us strength to endure through all persecution. We are mighty in him.

  36. 1 The word of the Lord also came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

As a parent there are times when my children hear me but don’t do what I tell them to do or them just look at me like “are you talking to me?” When they do these things I have to get their attention look at them in the eyes and make sure their listening if not I spare the rod. So I can imagine how frustrated God gets when we act like that to Him, the God, the Creator, the One that Can Make All Things Possible! God doesnt want to force us to obey His commands but does show us in His Word to obey them. If He would’ve God would’ve made us robots but instead gave us an opportunity to worship Him freely with our own free will. Forgive me God for not listening or doing things when you tell me God. Help me to listen and obey and love how you love!!!

  37. 25 For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.

Oh will the Lords word be spoken and it will be completed. Jesus is omnipresent and omnipotent and he knows the begging to the end. All situations are fought not by flesh and blood but with spiritual power in the name of Jesus.

  38. 26 The word of the Lord came to me: 27 “Son of man, the Israelites are saying, ‘The vision he sees is for many years from now, and he prophesies about the distant future.’
28 “Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

If He says it, it will come to pass. The times are now, when we need to believe what the word of God says. We have had enough of believing at our convenience, applying the Word of God to our situation if it fits.

There is so much we God wants to reveal if we just listen, study and search. God took offence to the unbelief of the people of Israel. Every time God spoke, they shrugged it off like it didn’t matter.

The people of Israel were starting to lose there Fear of God. And we have come full circle. Where many just shrug off the message of the last days. Lord lead us to people that are hungry for truth and hungry for you.

  39. ““Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see, and ears to hear but does not hear; for they are a rebellious house.”
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Spiritually blind and deaf cause by rebellion. Found Jesus was on the earth he had to deal with people in that condition. And so did Paul.

“Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive;”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“saying, ‘Go to this people and say: “Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.” ’ “Therefore let it be known to you that the salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will hear it!””
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:26-28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  40. 14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

It’s a privilege to be children of THE MOST HIGH GOD!!!

  41. 21 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

From that forbearance of God, which should have led them to repent, the Jews hardened themselves in sin. It will not serve for an excuse in speaking evil, to plead that it is a common saying. There is but a step between us and an awful eternity; therefore it concerns us to get ready for a future state. No one will be able to put from himself the evil day, unless by seeking peace with the Lord.

  42. 27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.

None of us are promised our next breath, much less tomorrow…

  43. 2“Son of man, you live among rebels who have eyes but refuse to see. They have ears but refuse to hear. For they are a rebellious people.

Just like today, people refuse to listen to God’s word. They see others attend church, but refuse to go to church. They may only go once in a while to church, but dont pay attention to the Word. So let us live among the people, and be examples of Christians, and serving the Lord.

  44. For I am the Lord ! If I say it, it will happen. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime. I, the Sovereign Lord , have spoken!” Ezekiel 12:25 NLT

Anything the Lord says will happen. God literally spoke all of creation into being. He said let their be light and their was light. Once he said that he will fulfil his threat of destruction, it will happen. We have that same power living within us with the Holy Ghost. The power to speak life and death lies in our tounges.

  45. 18 Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness;

  46. How often do people in the world today say these same words: ‘Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.’ Just as Israel, God is one day going to make the same declaration to those who would belittle the prophecy and word of God. ‘Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.’

In the mean time, we need to remain vigilant. Those in the world may be complacent, but God forbid his people should become complacent… especially with the example of Israel doing so and God’s response towards them. We know his word is true and are without excuse… his holy spirit dwells within us! We serve him out of love and our devotion is not based upon how close we are to his judgement… it is based upon a relationship and revelation of who he is and what he desires for us! Let his light so shine through us that all in the world who are seeking would know where to come! Even in their doubting, let them see our commitment, that God’s call and conviction to their hearts would go forth unhindered. Let us redeem the time and declare the day of the Lord!
