Ezekiel 37

The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

  1. 14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven imparting a gift of his Holy Spirit with us. When we die to sin and repent, then are buried in his likeness such as to be baptised in Jesus name, we open ourselves to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The valley of dry bones symbolized Israel in their fallen state, dead and lifeless. However, God wants to raise them up as he does us. He died while we were yet in sin, and didn’t know him. His blood shed paid the price for sin and now it has no sting to us who arw filled with his Holy Spirit. When we rise as it is prophesied we will stand up as an army renewed and untouchable by the enemy who once destroyed us. He has conquered the enemy that we may be victorious set free.

  2. 11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

Where have we/ I missed it? Could it be that we are attacking our challenge wrongly?

Many times we show the people around us the dead Jesus that we are without His breath leading us. Many time we are dried up, cut to pieces, laying in graves, or just barely hanging on. That is NOT what Jesus had planned for us. Sometimes we need to prophesy to the dead situations in our lives and even into the dead lives around us, speaking life, Call back to life the promises we once held onto, and step into them.

  3. Wow, what a sight for the Son of man to see as he listened and prophesied just as he’d been commanded by God. Verses 7-10 AMP “So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a [thundering] noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked, and behold, there were sinews on the bones, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’’So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.” Genesis 2:7 AMP “then the Lord God [a]formed [that is, created the body of] man from the [b]dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit].”

Verse 28 MSG “‘The nations will realize that I, God, make Israel holy when my holy place of worship is established at the center of their lives forever.’” Let “Jesus Be (At) The Center” as the song says:

Jesus be the center of my life
Jesus be the center of my life
    From beginning to the end
It will always be, it’s always been You Jesus, Jesus

Nothing else matters, nothing in this world will do
Jesus You’re the center, everything revolves around You
    Jesus You

From my heart to the Heavens
    Jesus be the center
    It’s all about You
    Yes it’s all about You

So Jesus be the center of Your church
Jesus be the center of Your church
    And every knee will bow
And every tongue shall confess You Jesus, Jesus
    Say His name, Jesus, Jesus…

  4. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

I hear the sound of an army arising!! We live in a world of dry bones, of bones without life – but we are also in this world, called to profess the word of the Lord. Let’s raise up an army of the Lord! To God be the glory!

  5. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

This is one of my favorite passages in the bible. A valley that was full of dry bones stands up and by the power of God becomes a mighty army. This is just like what God does to us personally. He takes our dead, dry situation and speaks life into it.

  6. They will not defile themselves with their idols, their detestable things, and all their rebellious deeds. I will save them from all their unfaithfulness by which they sinned. I will purify them; they will become my people and I will become their God. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be a perpetual covenant with them. I will establish them, increase their numbers, and place my sanctuary among them forever. My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.
    Ezekiel 37:23‭, ‬26‭-‬27

    GLORY TO GOD!!!!
I was once dead, bound by sin, my mind was lost!! But The sovereign LORD had a different plan for my life. It is His redeeming blood that has ‘saved me, He rescued me, just a moment there, He set me free!’ And now I give Him glory, honor, and praise!!!!! Hallelujah!!! This is the message we need to share with a lost and Dying World today! It’s all about His KINGDOM, it’s about S.O.U.L.S/A.L.M.A.S ❤❤❤

For he says, “ I heard you at the acceptable time , and in the day of salvation I helped you .” Look, now is the acceptable time ; look, now is the day of salvation !

  7. Ezekiel 37. Message version
    Breath of Life
1-2 God grabbed me. God’s Spirit took me up and set me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones. He led me around and among them—a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain—dry bones, bleached by the sun.

3 He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Master God, only you know that.”

4 He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!’”

5-6 God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God.

In Him There Is Life In Him Hope no matter the situation.
God will restore even a nation will be restored. There is a revival on the horizon I
Believe the Horizon is already upon us. Dried bones are going to rise up and rejoice in Jesus Name.

  8. Then he said to me, “speak a prophetic massage to the winds, son of man.
Speak a prophetic massage and say, ‘This is what the sovereign LORD says:
Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies
so they may live again. “‘

    Ezekiel 37: 9 NLT

There’s a great level of faith and confidence in God by the prophet to obey the command of the LORD.

YES. This is the will of GOD today for Fort Worth, TX. As we GO into the streets and neighborhoods today, let it be a day of prophesy. Speak to those that are spiritually dead. Sinners, backsliders, stubborn, rebellious, offended, hurt, confused. Speak to them of the LIFE that JESUS promises to all that will receive.

Speak to them, Thus saith the LORD GOD, ” I will open your graves and cause you to come out and put my SPIRIT in you and you shall live”.

  10. Ezekiel 37:13-14
    13) And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves.
    14) And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

The LORD has spoken it and performed it.
    Isaiah 55:11 (amp)
    So will My word be which goeth out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me void (useless, without result),
    Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

When God speaks His word, He will perform it. His word will not return back void, but it will accomplish what he desires and succeed in the matter for which he sent it.

  11. iLove the Kingdom
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

This might be a great way to begin a sermon with. LOL. Wahoo, I believe this just might be one of the favorite passages in all Pentecost…and for good reason! Most of us realize the spiritual aspect of this scripture. We understand that backsliders could come home with just one word of prophecy. We understand that no matter how dry and dead a person is, with God and the power of our spoken words of prophecy that anything is possible. But many of us might not realize this prophecy is also prophesying of the divided kingdom of Israel that divided with Solomon would one day come back together as ONE nation. The 12 tribes of Israel would one day be united. Look at verse:19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

Today Israel is one nation and their flag is the “Star of David” that represents the nation united under King David’s kingdom. This is a miracle and also it fulfills this passage of scripture….but that’s not all…you ready for this??? Do you realize this scripture was just fulfilled in 1948. This is when the nation of Israel was reborn and choose to be under the Flag of David. We are seeing prophecy fulfilled in our very hour!

  12. 11 Then He said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel, behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost, we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, thus saith the Lord God, Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

  13. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
Sometime you got to speak prophesies what ever you want GOD to do he prophesied and the bones start to come together

  14. The Lord took hold of me, and I was carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones. He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign Lord ,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”
    Ezekiel 37:1‭-‬3 NLT

When we are going through a valley in our life, we might consider it a bad brake, a punishment. We might even think that its the work of the devil but we must realize that if we are His children and if we are in the valley He is there with us. We must know and believe that He will bring us out because even in our darkest situations His Word is true and it will speak to us. We must trust Him in everything and He will make dry bones live again.

  15. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God ; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God ; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. Ezekiel 37:9‭, ‬21‭-‬21‭, ‬23‭, ‬26‭-‬27 KJV

    Can these bones live??
Is there anything too hard for our God?
We cannot lose hope in praying for our prodigals. The same God that can raise a nation up from a graveyard can raise up our sons and our daughters from the sin and despair they’ve fallen into.

I prophesy unto the four winds to breathe upon our lost sons and daughters and to bring them again into their Father’s house that they might find cleansing and that they might serve Him with their whole hearts, in Jesus name so let it be done! Amen!!

Thus saith the Lord ; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Thus saith the Lord ; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord ; and THEY SHALL COME AGAIN FROM THE LAND OF THE ENEMY. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord , that THY CHILDREN SHALL COME AGAIN to their own border.
    Jeremiah 31:15‭-‬17 KJV

  16. 21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

I do believe sons and daughters are coming home, back to their God. He will restore what they have lost and they will be made whole as they move forward in a renewed life and serve him. I hear the sound of an army arising!

  17. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

God created us from the dust of the earth so when life feels a little DRY all we need is the BREATH of GOD to feel alive.
I believe that’s the refreshing in Spirit we all need sometimes especially after a battle with the adversary. We really need that refreshing or breath of God.
It’s a bad day for the devil today. We’re out here passing out milk and bread to our community and BLESSING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS. The enemy is not liking it, but you can guarantee you’re gonna need that breath of God after all this .

    Let’s GO in Jesus name
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

  18. 1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

Everyday that we live we walk among “dry bones.” People that have not come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, or people that have a knowledge but need to grow deeper in their relationship.

Are we just going to pass them by? Will we be sensitive to the Spirit of God within us and speak life into their dry bones? Will we be too busy with out schedule that we forget that we were created for His Purpose?

Each day I must pray for God to order my steps and then open up my heart to see the needs around me. We are the hands and the feet of the Lord and His mouthpiece. If we can shift our focus to be Kingdom focus then God will send people into our path for us to minister to.

  19. 11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

  20. 3 Then he asked me, “Son of man, can these bones become living people again?” “O Sovereign LORD,” I replied, “you alone know the answer to that.”

This is how we should answer the Lord all the time “you alone know the answer to that”. Yes, we ask God for blessings and healings, but only God has the answer.

But what if God is trying to get your attention, by asking you “when will you accept me as your savior”. Only you alone know the answer to that. Ask yourself, how obedient are you to the Lord’s calling?

  21. 15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,

This emblem was to show the people, that the Lord would unite Judah and Israel. Christ is the true David, Israel’s King of old; and those whom he makes willing in the day of his power, he makes to walk in his judgments, and to keep his statutes. Events yet to come will further explain this prophecy. Nothing has more hindered the success of the gospel than divisions. Let us study to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace; let us seek for Divine grace to keep us from detestable things; and let us pray that all nations may be obedient and happy subjects of the Son of David, that the Lord may be our God, and we may be his people for evermore.

  22. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Just as God physically raises the dead to life, He can bring those that are spiritually dead back to life!

Breathe on me, power of God Come in and change me! You are all I need, Holy Spirit breathe on me! 🎶

  23. What a great promise, and with the new covenant we have better promises!0

26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

    “Stay connected!…..

  24. We’ve often heard analogies of the valley of dry bones, but notice the prophetic statement that he makes in the midst of it: ‘And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.’ For those dry bones to live, they needed to have God’s spirit within… just as can be said of our spiritual lives today. Many like to claim to live for God but have no desire for his spirit to reign and live within… but without God within, their spiritual life is no better than that dry valley. Until we decide to escape the valley and allow his spirit to live in us, we’ll never truly understand what it means to live! Words cannot describe it, but oh what a difference Jesus makes in our lives!

You can easily imagine this being spoken today, because of course if God’s spirit is truly living within us then ‘Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.’ Notice he saves us out of it all. God doesn’t save us for us to return to our own vomit. He wants to make something out of us! He wants to send us forth to serve! He has a need for laborers in the harvest and the reward is great! So give up all the old dry bones we’ve been clinging too and let God give us life!

  25. 1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

  26. The great I AM….
I read this and I can just say wow what a big God we have. He turned dry bones alive with new breath in them.
I really don’t have to much to say but I love Him very much. He’s done so much for me.

  27. 5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

After the prophesy was made for the dry bones came to life, there was a noise and than there was a shaking. And only after the shaking did the bones start to come together. Maybe you’ve had a prophecy over your life and you haven’t seen it come to pass yet. Maybe it’s because you haven’t had your life shaken yet. After the shaking the bones came together, in other words they connected together, they become united and then they came alive. It seems like a trial and then unity seem to be the key for the dry dead bones to come back to life.

  28. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

  29. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

When we prophesy, preach, or teach as we are commanded by God, we will see results!
[Isa 55:11 KJV] 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

  30. 4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Let the Lord speak through the man of God to rise any dry bones in us, let us have the fire shut up in our bones and let us love again like never before with a bright light on us. Cs Lewis…said to live so transparent that people see Christ through us and they don’t see us

  31. Josiah: 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
“So I prophesied as I was commanded” When we obey God things will go right. Things go bad when we do not listen to God. God told Ezekiel what to prophesy and when he did it came to pass. As long as we are lined up with God’s will we do not need to worry. So, let us GO FAITHFULLY in the direction God tells us to GO! LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH PRAISE PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD!

  32. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

It seems that he was asking this more to ask where is your faith level at. By this time the man should know that anything is possible with God. It’s like saying ok I’m going to ask you for something that seems impossible but can it be done? It’s not by might or human strength but by God’s Spirit.

  33. 1The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

  34. Commanded to prophesy

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

What a powerful verse. His obedience opened the door to the miraculous. I wonder how many miracles are waiting on a obedient child of God? It’s one thing to hear the voice of the Lord and it’s rewarding to obey His voice.

After the his obedience he heard a sound the. He saw the miracle happen. If you are obeying and you haven’t heard the sound yet keep obeying until you hear the sound because shortly after the sound comes the miracle.

  35. Ezekiel 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man , can these bones live? And I answered , O Lord God, thou knowest.

Romans 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed , even God , who quickeneth the dead , and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

  36. “Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’””
    ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭37:4-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Although situations may seem like they’re dead God’s prophetic word can bring life. Speaking things as though they were. We must have eyes of faith and ears in tune to our Lord. Seek him first and he will give direction and a prophetic word dead situations.

  37. 1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

In the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel was confronted with a scene of death. The corpses had been there for sometime , picked clean by the birds and baked in the hot sun. According to (verse 11 Then He said to me, Son of Man” , these bones are the whole house of Israel.) these bones symbolized the whole nation of Israel. The restoration was more than a return to the land. It also had a spiritual dimension in a renewed covenant. Though the consept of the resurrection is not fully developed in the OT obviously there is some consept of the resurrection in this chapter.

  38. 28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

The world knows when we are different, they might not know that IT is JESUS at first glance, but they know……. for even a blind man can see it……

  39. I will put my Spirit in you, and you will live again and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I, the Lord , have spoken, and I have done what I said. Yes, the Lord has spoken!’”
    Ezekiel 37:14 NLT

  40. They will no longer worship idols and do things that make them unacceptable to me. I will wash away their sin and make them clean, and I will protect them from everything that makes them unclean. They will be my people, and I will be their God.(Ezekiel 37:23 CEV)

God explains in this verse to his people of Israel that all he wants is his people to no longer do the things that make them unacceptable to him. God wants his people to turn away from the evil of this world. So God himself can wash away his people’s sins so that he can make them clean and to protect them from everything of this world that makes his people unclean and unacceptable to him.

  41. Sometimes God puts you in the middle of death to see if you are going to speak life or death. What you speak changes the situations around you. Listen to God. Prophesy to the hopeless situation and watch it come to pass.
