Daniel 8

In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.

12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.

18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.

19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.

20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.

23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

  1. 16. And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

    Acts 8:
    30. And Philip ran thither to him , and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

    31. And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

There’s nothing wrong with getting help with something you don’t understand, just make sure the one you ask for help has the mind of God.

    Matthew 7:7
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: KJV

  2. And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it

Even when Daniel was visited my an angel who to him the interpretation it still left him vexed and confused, he got up and just went back to work. Sometimes good isn’t going to give us understanding for everything thing he gives us but he may be showing us to share later. We don’t have to know what’s going on with God to trust him, and keep working in the kingdom

  3. Daniel 8:15 (English Amp) When I, even I, Daniel had seen the vision, I sought to understand it; then behold, there stood before me one ( Gabriel) with the appearance of a man. This one is a prophetic forecast of Antioches Epiphanes, who came out of Syria, one of the four dynasties into which Alexandra ‘s empire was divided, and became a great conqueror, Hating God, He profane the temple and prosecuted the Jews terribly. However, He serves as a type of the little horn.

  4. Verse 27 MSG “I, Daniel, walked around in a daze, unwell for days. Then I got a grip on myself and went back to work taking care of the king’s affairs. But I continued to be upset by the vision. I couldn’t make sense of it.” Sometimes we can’t see the picture, have complete understanding or see how its going to work out; but, that is where our complete faith and trust in the Lord comes into play. Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

  5. Josiah: 13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
“How long…” Our life is only so long. This is not our home. We are just passing through to see where we spend eternity. You may feel like this world is constantly pushing but only for so long. When the antichrist rises up it will only be for so long. Yet, when God gets His people, it will be for eternity. What little we Go through is nothing compared to what God has in store for us. So, let us GO PASSIONATELY spreading the Kingdom of God for we only have so long!

  6. The army of heaven was restrained from responding
    to this rebellion. ….
    Daniel 8:12 NLT

A good warrior chooses his battles wisely!!

  7. iLove the Kingdom
This passage of scripture is very clearly to us the people of the EndTime. This little Horn is speaking so boastfully will ultimately be the antichrist. Jesus is coming back to destroy the antichrist, but the antichrist will come first. Get ready, the stage is set

  8. 27 Then I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for several days. Afterward I got up and performed my duties for the king, but I was greatly troubled by the vision and could not understand it. (NLT)

Yet he kept on doing the kings work… So carry on folks, despite what troubles you, keep on keepin on!

  9. “And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭8:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He said Peace shall destroy many.
Once I was driving in some traffic and a man started raging at me over something very silly I remained calm and stayed peaceful. He just couldn’t let it go that he could not control me he laid on his horn and screamed horrible things at me but I continually pretended that I couldn’t hear him. That only made him more furious so he then began to spit on my car and start to swerve into my vehicle again I remained calm and didn’t budge. I stayed faithful and knew God wouldn’t put me in no harm. So that made matters worse for this guy. He done everything in his power to get my attention and try to set me off and the thought of the old me ran through my mind so I began to laugh not knowing he was still looking. Again I kept my peace though. This man was so full of rage and we could’ve fist fought or I could’ve yelled back at him but my Peace that God had placed over me destroyed this man.

    Go in Peace today
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  10. As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground. “Son of man,” he said, “you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.” Then he said, “I am here to tell you what will happen later in the time of wrath. What you have seen pertains to the very end of time.
    Daniel 8:17‭, ‬19 NLT
The is end is coming soon many kingdom will rise many people will be deceived by false prophets and false gods so are you ready

  11. 25 He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.

The unrighteous do many things in secret. They don’t realize they are destroying and hurting others. Because they are arrogant, they will challenge authority, and do ungodly things without telling no one. They have no thought of sin. Until they repent, their eyes are opened and realize the wrong they had been doing.

  12. 24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

I love how this says, “And his power shall be mighty BUT NOT BY HIS OWN POWER”! Satan ONLY has the power that God gives him and allows him to have. All of these troubling things we see happening in our world today are due to the end times that we are living in but do not fret….God is in charge of it….He is allowing these times for His purposes and His will……He is well aware of what is going on. He has us alive in this very time for a purpose. We are privileged to be alive in this season for we ARE GOING TO SEE THE COMING OF KING JESUS SPLIT HEAVEN WIDE OPEN AS HE RETURNS TO ESTABLISH HIS ETERNAL KINGDOM ! LET US BE EXCITEDLY WATCHING FOR HIS COMING! HALLELUJAH!

  13. Daniel 8 message
27 “I, Daniel, walked around in a daze, unwell for days. Then I got a grip on myself and went back to work taking care of the king’s affairs. But I continued to be upset by the vision. I couldn’t make sense of it.”

There are things we will not truly understand. They are going to cause you to question. They will cause you to get distracted and even cause you to feel ill. Yet s a Daniel we must shake ourself and refocus on the work for the Kingdoms. Daniel couldn’t stop what he was doing even though nothing made sense. We have to declare war against our minds and. stay focused on what God has called us today. Even when nothing seems to make any sense we have to remember to put ion the mind of Christ daily . Philippians 4:8. He will keep us in peace as we dwell on His Word. In Jesus Name.

  14. Daniel 8:17 & 27
    17) So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
    27) And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days: afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.”

WOW! This vision that Daniel had is getting closer to being fulfilled.
We are living in the “end times,” and it’s time for us to be doing the KING’s Business. The time is NOW to GO and GrOw the KINGDOM of GOD! It’s all about HIS KINGDOM!

  15. 23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

Regardless of what comes, we are to keep laboring so that the Kingdom of God will advance. Desperate times cause people to cry out to God and the church must be ready to receive the hurting. So no matter what we are facing, we must spread the gospel to those God brings.

  16. 15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

How much effort do you believe Daniel spent seeking a meaning for this vision? Maybe he spent 10 minutes and decided; well, if God wants me to know it he will just have to give it to me. Or maybe he spent a full hour and still no revelation. Do we have a vision or promise from God that has not come to pass yet? How much effort have we spent in seeking the revelation of our dreams, visions and passions? Maybe god is waiting on us.

  17. 27 Then I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for several days. Afterward I got up and performed my duties for the king, but I was greatly troubled by the vision and could not understand it.

Everyone wants the title, they want the leadership role, they want to be used mightly. However, it’s not always a pretty picture. There will be times that your hurt, times that seem like nothing is right, and times that you can’t understand.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

We must be like David, shake it off and go back to work for the King. We can’t lean on our own understanding but on the Lords, allow Him to direct our paths. The key is to go back to work for the King! Don’t get distracted in the confusion, trust in the Lord.

Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

Any bad day in the church is still greater than any good day in the world!

  18. 25 He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.

This is speaking about an evil one to come… notice it says that he will be broken but not by human power. This reminds me of the scripture “It’s not by might nor by power but by my spirit saith the Lord!” We must never forget who holds all the power over everything.

  19. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
    Daniel 8:11‭-‬12 KJV

This is how you know when the wrong prince is prince over your life:
    1) Pride; you magnify yourself, become selfish, self-centered, self-absorbed (even to the point of self-pity or depression)
    2) You have no daily sacrifice; prayer becomes sporadic at best.
    3) Promoting truth becomes unimportant, while personal prosperity takes center stage.

  20. 2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

In these last days we will see visions and dream dreams the lord has given to his people. I pray that he would use me and many others to be a light to dark areas of this earth. Lord use me in all things of the Kingdom of Heaven.

  21. MSG – 13 “Then I overheard two holy angels talking. One asked, ‘How long is what we see here going to last—the abolishing of daily worship, this devastating judgment against sin, the kicking around of God’s holy people and the Sanctuary?’

14 “The other answered, ‘Over the course of 2,300 sacrifices, evening and morning. Then the Sanctuary will be set right again.’

God will only tolerate the sin and wickedness of this world for a season. His plan is already in place. As Spirit filled christians, we should fear what is to come, but embrace it. We have been given the vision in the word of God for Endtime. We must prepare our hearts to stand, no matter what comes because in the end, we will be overcomers.

  22. THY KINGDOM COME
    RELATIONSHIP

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

The message I receive in this chapter is one of RELATIONSHIP. As we draw nigh or close to our KING he will draw nigh or close to us. As we seek FIRST the Kingdom of GOD. HE will share deep revelations to us about HIS Kingdom. Some will be intended to share immediately, while others like this one with Daniel will be for a later time.

How do we know when they are for?

    RELATIONSHIP

We share our lives with those that are closest to us. We share our deep knowledge and secrets with those that are the closest to us. This natural occurrence forms from TRUST in a relationship.

It is evident that JESUS trusted Daniel. To share this revelation with him that had nothing to do with his generation or life. To me this reveals the depth of the RELATIONSHIP that Daniel had with JESUS and that JESUS had with Daniel.

What is the LORD saying to you today?

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray

  23. “And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭8:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“And I, Daniel, was exhausted and was sick for [several] days. Afterward I got up and continued with the king’s business; but I was astounded at the vision, and there was no one who could explain it.”
    ‭‭DANIEL‬ ‭8:27‬ ‭AMP‬‬

There’s no doubt that Daniel had faith and trusted God. Nor that his relationship with God wasn’t lacking. God had just shared something so important with Daniel. Gabriel, the Messenger Angel, himself explained it Daniel. Sometimes even after receiving an explanation of a Godgiven vision it can leave our minds spinning. And no one who can explain it. This has shown me that it’s not lack of faith, relationship with God or something wrong. Somethings are higher than us and only God can give understand not man.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

  24. Be about the Kings business!

27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

The key to not getting distracted by everything around you and against you is to keep working. Keep doing the work of the kingdom, and don’t allow time for distractions to come in!

  25. 9:27 and I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the kings’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understand it.

In order to receive visions from God we must first have a connection with Him. He will take to another level spiritually and He might even let us see the unexplainable. Lets continue to move forward in His kingdom and see how close we can get.

  28. 27 And I, Daniel, fainted and was sick for days, afterward I arose and went about the kings business, I was astonished by the vision, but no one understood it. THANK GOD FOR END TIME BIBLE STUDY..

  29. The level of detail in many of the prophecies of the Bible is of such accuracy that historians sometimes questioned whether they were written after the events in question. Many of those doubts were put to bed with the discovery of the dead sea scrolls and other hidden caches of scrolls in Israel. The interpretation here is one of those that causes one to pause. Greece wasn’t considered a military power at the time and is certainly not at the center of civilized power or notice, yet Daniel foresaw their ascension.

Alexander the Great would indeed come conquering through the former lands of the Medes and Persians and even go further into India and Egypt in his quest to conquer the known world. One may wonder why such a one would be seen by a prophet of Israel… although history tells us that his desire was to place his capital in none other city than Babylon itself, and when he passed away suddenly in his youth, it was in the very palace of Nebuchadnezzar!

His kingdom did indeed break into four smaller kingdoms upon his death. As they waned in power, the Greek culture became the shaping force behind the Roman empire, who would consume their former domains as they inherited their philosophy and were even often taught by their teachers… making them great, but not by their own power. This is of course necessary for the completion of the latter portion of the prophecy! Hundreds of years of history impacting whole regions of the world to set the stage for the Prince of Peace to arrive! They would stand against him, they would destroy his people, but in the end would be broken themselves… and yet some still doubt prophecy.

When one truly takes the time to consider the many details of God’s word, we really are without excuse. It is ready apparent that human nature has not really changed despite all of our ‘advances’ and technology. We face the same struggles, we see the same conflicts, we make the same mistakes with the same results, and yet still resist the teachings of his word that have never changed and yet never failed! Perhaps it’s time to return the tried and true, perhaps it’s time to take God at his word and allow his word to shape and guide our life… He has after all, always been a God who takes care of the details!

  30. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

  31. Do You Understand?

16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

When God shows us things, we must be cautious to understand what is being shown and told. Not that God would steer us wrong. But if I gave you a fishing pole and did not tell you how to use it, you may try to hunt a bear. That would not be wise. Or going deep sea fishing with a jr.fishing pole. That,” word” from God may be for another time and not the here and now.
Know what the King is saying. Listen. Learn. Grow

  32. Daniel is having visions about the end . which i believe we are in . we need to get the word of the lord in our hearts it’s our only hope. There’s no time to be two faced. We need to be ready

  33. So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
    Daniel 8:17 KJV

The vision is already given share the vision we don’t have much time.

  34. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

When God speaks, we may not understand all of what he has told us, but we must not reject what has been given to us. He will reveal in his timing, not ours.

  35. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.

27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

  36. 15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man.

  37. 21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power.
Many critics did not believe Daniel wrote this because of this accurate foretelling of the future world kingdom. The first king was Alexander the Great and then he was followed by 4 generals who took over when he died at a young age. Yet, as Daniel writes even the interpretation of this dream was given him from the angel Gabriel. God knows the end from the beginning.

  38. Then I heard two holy ones talking to each other. One of them asked, “How long will the events of this vision last? How long will the rebellion that causes desecration stop the daily sacrifices? How long will the Temple and heaven’s army be trampled on?” The other replied, “It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the Temple will be made right again.”
    Daniel 8:13‭-‬14 NLT

  39. 27 I, Daniel, was exhausted and lay ill for several days. Then I got up and went about the kings business. I was appalled by the visions; it was beyond understanding

  40. The Prophet Daniel was a man who sought understanding like any godly leader, craved insight from the Lord. But Daniel wanted more than to receive a vision from God; he wanted God to explain the vision . The Lord obliged, but also show Daniel the price attached to such a privilege.
It is not enough for leaders to know the word of God or to know the prophecies contained in that word. We must seek to understand how that word applies to us and the followers. And we must never take for granted the enormous privilege of communicating the revelation of God.

  41. In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai.

3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

6 And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

God gives Daniel a foresight of the destruction of other kingdoms, which in their day were as powerful as that of Babylon. Could we foresee the changes that shall be when we are gone, we should be less affected with changes in our own day. The ram with two horns was the second empire, that of Media and Persia. He saw this ram overcome by a he-goat. This was Alexander the Great. Alexander, when about thirty-three years of age, and in his full strength, died, and showed the vanity of worldly pomp and power, and that they cannot make a man happy. While men dispute, as in the case of Alexander, respecting the death of some prosperous warrior, it is plain that the great First Cause of all had no more of his plan for him to execute, and therefore cut him off. Instead of that one great horn, there came up four notable ones, Alexander’s four chief captains. A little horn became a great persecutor of the church and people of God. It seems that the Mohammedan delusion is here pointed out. It prospered, and at one time nearly destroyed the holy religion God’s right hand had planted. It is just with God to deprive those of the privileges of his house who despise and profane them; and to make those know the worth of ordinances by the want of them, who would not know it by the enjoyment of them. Daniel heard the time of this calamity limited and determined; but not the time when it should come. If we would know the mind of God, we must apply to Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge; not hid from us, but hid for us. There is much difficulty as to the precise time here stated, but the end of it cannot be very distant. God will, for his own glory, see to the cleansing of the church in due time. Christ died to cleanse his church; and he will so cleanse it as to present it blameless to himself.

  42. 5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

  43. He explained to me, “Daniel, I have come here to give you insight and understanding. The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God. Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision.
    Daniel 9:22‭-‬23 NLT

    Hallelujah

  44. The army of heaven was restrained from responding to this rebellion. So the daily sacrifice was halted, and truth was overthrown. The horn succeeded in everything it did.(Daniel 8:12 NLT)

The angels of heaven are assembled together as a holy army of the Lord. The people have rebelled against God and become enemies of him. The Lord of hosts, God, is the one who commands those angel armies. When we think we can overthrow righteousness we put ourselves in danger and deprived of truth. The lack of knowledge and truth cause his people to perish.

  45. “So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭8:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    A time for everything
There was a time for this word to come to pass. Things often scare us and we might not even know why. I could see how people would be afraid of angels. They speak for God. They tell you things that are going to happen In the near future.
