Daniel 11

Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

11 And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

12 And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

14 And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

15 So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

16 But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

17 He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

19 Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

20 Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

22 And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

27 And both of these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

29 At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

30 For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

  1. The events that the messenger prophesied in this chapter were fulfilled and recarded in secular histories with amazing accuracy. As in the previous vision, this one also dealt with only two of the four kingdoms, Persia and Greece, though the primary conser was the time of oppression of God’s people.

  2. “Now then, I will reveal the truth to you. Three more Persian kings will reign, to be succeeded by a fourth, far richer than the others. He will use his wealth to stir up everyone to fight against the kingdom of Greece. But at the height of his power, his kingdom will be broken apart and divided into four parts. It will not be ruled by the king’s descendants, nor will the kingdom hold the authority it once had. For his empire will be uprooted and given to others. Without warning he will enter the richest areas of the land. Then he will distribute among his followers the plunder and wealth of the rich—something his predecessors had never done. He will plot the overthrow of strongholds, but this will last for only a short while.
    Daniel 11:2‭, ‬4‭-‬4‭, ‬24 NLT
Money is the key to all evil it’s the most fought about people kill people over every kingdom must come down every stronghold shall be broken 🎵 🎶 don’t let you money be you god GOD giveth and takes away

  3. In the AMP version this chapter is captioned “Conflicts To Come”. Verse 35 AMP says “Some of those who are [spiritually] wise and have insight will fall [as martyrs] in order to refine, to purge and to make those among God’s people pure, until the end time; because it is yet to come at the time appointed [by God]. Many can guess and try to estimate the end time; but, only the Lord knows this appointed time. There is and will be conflicts to come; but, we must remain strong, bold and faithful.

In the MSG version Hebrews 12:1-3 is captioned “Discipline in a Long-Distance Race”. “Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!”

  4. 32. With smooth talk, he will entice people who act wickedly and break the covenant. But those who truly know their God will remain strong and work against him. Voice

When you know God and have learned His voice, no smooth-talker can lure you away from Him.

    John 10:
    26. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
    27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
    28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. KJV

    Colossians 2:
    4. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
    6. As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
    7. Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
    8. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
    9. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. KJV

  5. 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many, yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering.

  6. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

What are you doing in these last days? It’s time to reach, teach, and preach!

  7. THY KINGDOM COME
    EMPOWERED BY KNOWLEDGE

32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Deception is often introduced, presented and delivered in flatteries. People who are deceptive will typically begin with a compliment. This concept is demonstrated by the adversary of our soul. The loe serpent tempted Eve in the garden of GOD with a flattery. “Look how much you will know if”, “you will know more if”, “you will be more powerful if”. These are the deceptive words from satan that lead many astray.

But, JESUS revealed to Daniel that there will be a people that “do know their GOD and they will be strong, and do exploits.

do Exploits – 6213. {asah, aw-saw´; a primitive root; to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application (as follows):—accomplish, advance, appoint, apt, be at, become, bear, bestow, bring forth, bruise, be busy.

The word Exploits alone is not a word in the Hebrew, however when it is connected with the word “DO” we find the meaning above. When we KNOW our GOD we will DO.

This revelation is imperative to the last day Revival and Harvest. We need the Power of GOD to accomplish His Kingdom Purpose.

We KNOW JESUS through time invested in our relationship with HIM in Prayer and Study of the WORD of GOD.

  8. Thank God For The Blood That Washes White As Snow
I am so glad I know in Him I can trust.
When all else and others fail you He is still right there there is no other God like our God Jesus Christ the Messiah.

  9. In the midst of all those passages concerning the things that shall come to pass, it is nuggets like this that speak to our hearts with hope: ‘And they that understand among the people shall instruct many.’ Trials and tribulations may come, persecution and even destruction may come, but they that know their God will still be strong and do exploits! They may be taken captive and even slain, but their works will continue to make an impact! And in the midst of it ask, we still have his assurance that ‘when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help’. Yes, ‘some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed’. That is no reason to be discouraged, because we know the end which we seek and we know the conclusion of the whole matter! So fear God and keep his commandments and allow his glory to be seen!

  10. He will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant.
But the people who know their God will be strong and will resist him.
    Daniel 11:32 NLT

    knowledge kills fear!!

  11. AMP – 32 With smooth words [of flattery and praise] he will turn to godlessness those who [are willing to] disregard the [Mosaic] covenant, but the people who [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist].

The Word tells us that “His sheep know His voice.” We only come to recognize that voice through a daily relationship with Him. Walking daily with the Lord, keeping that constant open communication of prayer and the Word will allow us to discern anything or anyone that would lead us astray from what we know as truth.

  12. Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him. And now will I shew thee the truth…
    Daniel 11:1‭-‬2 KJV

Daniel lays out the future for the king and for many generations to come. He tells of the rise and fall of several rulers with great detail, speaking of political marriages and deaths of rulers by sickness or natural causes. There is no hesitancy or doubt in Daniel’s tone; he plainly says that he is speaking the truth. Daniel’s relationship was such with God that he was given clear visions of heaven, angels, the Ancient of Days, and the entirety of the future of his people. Daniel was confident in his experience and never doubted what he saw even though he didn’t understand much of it. He wasn’t like many of us today who say things like, “I believe this is what the Lord showed me,” or “I think the Lord wants me to tell you…” No, Daniel knew his God, and he knew how to get a clear word from God. He knew how to wait on God till clarity came. We could use more Daniels in this generation.

  13. Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

9 So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

The angel shows Daniel the succession of the Persian and Grecian empires. The kings of Egypt and Syria are noticed: Judea was between their dominions, and affected by their contests. From vs. 5-30, is generally considered to relate to the events which came to pass during the continuance of these governments; and from Daniel 11:21, to relate to Antiochus Epiphanes, who was a cruel and violent persecutor of the Jews. See what decaying, perishing things worldly pomp and possessions are, and the power by which they are gotten. God, in his providence, sets up one, and pulls down another, as he pleases. This world is full of wars and fightings, which come from men’s lusts. All changes and revolutions of states and kingdoms, and every event, are plainly and perfectly foreseen by God. No word of God shall fall to the ground; but what he has designed, what he has declared, shall infallibly come to pass. While the potsherds of the earth strive with each other, they prevail and are prevailed against, deceive and are deceived; but those who know God will trust in him, and he will enable them to stand their ground, bear their cross, and maintain their conflict.

  14. Josiah: 3 And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken…
Our will is not the way to go unless our will is to do God’s will. Man’s strength has a limit but God’s does not. If we are doing what God wants us to do then we do not need to worry because it is in God’s hands and God is not able to fail. This king the Bible says failed when he stood up because he was seeking to do his will. Let us GO SEEK FIRST the kingdom of God!

  15. iLove the Kingdom
Wow, as I was reading this something leaped out and hit me upside the head…”The daughter of the king of the south will be given in marriage to the king of the north to secure the alliance, but she will lose her influence over him, and so will her father.”

Notice the reason the daughter of the south was given to the king of the north…the whole reason of this marriage was to gain influence through the daughter. This is one of the reasons Saul gave David his daughter to marry hoping this would be a negative influence in the life of David. We must keep our eyes on Jesus and refuse to influenced by the enemy.

  16. 11And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

In His Kingdom, we are made to be the ones who win. If you are not with us, them you’re against us. Simply put. Be in His Kingdom and let Him reign forever.

  17. Daniel 11:32-35
    32) With smooth words (of flattery and praise) he will turn to godlessness those who (are willing to) disregard the (Mosaic) covenant, but the people who (are spiritually mature and) know their God will display strength and take action (to resist).
    33) They who are wise and have spiritual insight among the people will instruct many and help them understand; yet for many days some (of them and their followers) will fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder.
    34) Now when they fall they will receive a little help, and many will join with them in hypocrisy.
    35) Some of those who are (spiritually) wise and have insight will fall (as martyrs) in order to refine, to purge and to make those among God’s people pure, until the end time; because it is yet to come at the time appointed (by God).

To many are being deceived by flattering words of the devil. It’s time for us to get “spiritually mature” and KNOW GOD and display His Strength and Power within us and Take Action. It’s time to Instruct many and help them understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
There have been “those” in the past, there are “some of those” even today, and there will be “some of those” in the future who will fall as martyrs for the Gospel’s sake (“those” in order to refine, to purge and to make those among God’s people pure).

Paul said in Acts 21:13, “……. for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

  18. 42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

  19. I Love TO Worship The Lord
This difficult passage in a complicated expansion of earlier revelations of events near history end. Interpreted rather thanallegorically the passage begins with a description of the Persian Empire to the death Alexander the great.

  20. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Trust in the Lord and know our God and we shall be 💪 strong!
The joy of the Lord gives me strength
Let’s be strong in the Holy Ghost this week and prepare for the Miracles that are going to happen this Coming weekend
iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  21. 33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

We are blessed to have an understanding of God’s plan of salvation. Let’s share the good news and teach Bible studies to whosoever will!

  22. With smooth words [of flattery and praise] he will turn to godlessness those who [are willing to] disregard the [Mosaic] covenant, but the people who [are spiritually mature and] know their God will display strength and take action [to resist]. “Then the king (the Antichrist) will do exactly as he pleases; he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god and will speak astounding and disgusting things against the God of gods and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is determined [by God] will be done.
    DANIEL 11:32‭, ‬36 AMP

Be not deceived, stand on truth and be rooted deep in His word!!! We must trust the LORD at all times, pray for your brother and sisters in Christ..

  23. And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

He that exalts him self shall be abasted, and he that is abased shall be exalted

  24. Daniel 11:32 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive.

Psalm 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

  25. v2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by HIS strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

” And now I will shew thee the truth”
John expressed sentiment that likely sums up the heartbeat of our LORD:
” I have no GREATER joy than to hear that my children walk in truth”
    3 John 4
GOD has entrusted us with treasures of truth…..
The oneness of GOD, repentance, baptism in JESUS ‘ name, the baptism with the HOLY GHOST with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and holy living both inwardly and outwardly.
    Thank you JESUS for Truth.

  26. He will stop between the glorious holy mountain and the sea and will pitch his royal tents. But while he is there, his time will suddenly run out, and no one will help him.
    Daniel 11:45 NLT

  27. Decerning th voice of God is one of the most important things in our walk it’s God. It’s so easy to be captivated by the smooth words of the enemy. Great men and women have fallen to the lies of Satan. He is here to deceive us yet God is drawing us into His Kingdom of safety. The only way to know His voice is to know His Word and be faithful to prayer.

We have all been deceived at some point in our lives yet this should not discourage us from getting up and learning from the mistake. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

  28. Claiming this foreign god’s help, he will attack the strongest fortresses. He will honor those who submit to him, appointing them to positions of authority and dividing the land among them as their reward.
    Daniel 11:39 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/dan.11.39.NLT

In order for us to be successful in His kingdom we must be submitted to him and His word. We will not make it with out Him.

  29. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Do you know your God? That is the key to this verse. The people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. When you know someone you trust and and have confidence in that they are who they say they are. He is the great I am. Whatever the need is; He is.

  30. 27Seeking nothing but each other’s harm, these kings will plot against each other at the conference table, attempting to deceive each other. But it will make no difference, for the end will come at the appointed time.

This verse shows no unity in the kingdom. With no unity in place people will turn against one another, there will be bitterness and deceit. Let’s pray we always have unity in our church, and we’ll be blessed.

  31. 4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

The very prophesy that Daniel was revealed to Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar is soon to pass. Persian is the chest portion of the man struck by the feet with the rock Jesus. Any word that comes from the mouth of God good or bad will accomplish that which he spoke.

  32. 32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

What is the difference between flattery and compliments? Flattery can be defined as the act of giving excessive compliments. The difference between flattery and a compliments is, who benefits. Flattery has a selfish motivation. The flatterer hopes to gain approval or advantage over the one being flattered. Compliments, however, are sincere acknowledgments of admiration spoken to commend someone else. A compliment is intended to benefit the recipient, whereas flattery benefits the flatterer.

We should learn to recognize the difference and separate flattery from sincere compliments. Flattery is often coupled with lying, as a flatterer is not concerned with whether or not they are being truthful.

  33. “And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.”
    ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭11:23-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    The wolf in sheeps clothing

He will sneak in and change the mind of the people. He will sway them to turn away from the king. Oh, the kingdom must never grow weary of stopping wolves. As sure we we just except them and let our guards down is when the flock is lead astray.

  34. The king of the south will feel proud because of the many thousands he has killed. But his victories won’t last long,(Daniel 11:12 CEV)

This verse is explaining that the king of the south will allow himself to be controlled by pride because he thought that he was so power and strong that the many thousands he has killed. But what the king of the south doesnt know is that it will eventually catch up with at the end.
