Hosea 7

When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.

Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

10 And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the Lord their God, nor seek him for all this.

11 Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.

15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.

16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

  1. Verse 10 CEV “I am the Lord, their God, but in all of their troubles their pride keeps them from returning to me.” Proverbs 11:2 AMP says “When pride comes [boiling up with an arrogant attitude of self-importance], then come dishonor and shame, But with the humble [the teachable who have been chiseled by trial and who have learned to walk humbly with God] there is wisdom and soundness of mind.”

  2. 13 Woe to them, for they have fled from Me! Destruction to them, because they have transgressed against Me! Though I redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against Me.

A cake unturned. Ephraim somehow got mixed up in the sins of Usreal. He was like a pancake left on the skillet that gets burned on one side and remains doughy on the other. No good for anything. He didn’t even recognize that his own strength was being devoured. Sin is so like this. The closer you get to the world the more you’ve become like it. One thing leads to another . A little conversation , a lack of church attendance, little less prayer and soon you have become weaker and weaker in your walk with God unaware.
It is not time to sit back but time to press forward. The heat is up but we must keep on moving forward not getting caught within it’s snares. Unaware and devoured don’t wait til it’s too late. In Jesus name.

  4. 13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

People are never in a stand still with God, they are either moving towards him or away from him. Some people even question the wrath of God about why he sends judgment on his people when he loves them, and express doubt of his mercy if he is pouring out his anger on his people, what they dont understand is that it is his love for them that he is angry. a God that doesnt care or have any compassion for his people isnt going to care about what or who they serve. You can tell a lot about someone relationship with God by their response to His word. The closer we get to God the more we can understand his nature and trust in the decisions that he makes whether we understand them or not.

  5. Hosea7:14 (English Amp) They do not cry to Me from their heart, but they wail upon their beds; they gash and distress and assemble themselves[ in mourning] for grain and new wine; they rebel against Me. If we dont live and obey God’s commandments, He will bring destruction to you. Because of the pride and rebelling against God. We must make a change, turn back to God.

  6. 10. Their arrogance testifies against them, yet they don’t return to the LORD their God or even try to find him.

    14. They do not cry out to me with sincere hearts. Instead, they sit on their couches and wail. They cut themselves, begging foreign gods for grain and new wine, and they turn away from me.

    16. They look everywhere except to the Most High. They are as useless as a crooked bow. Their leaders will be killed by their enemies because of their insolence toward me. Then the people of Egypt will laugh at them. NLT

People are turning everywhere and to everything except God trying to find the answers they need, while we know that only God can deliver them. Let’s let them see Him in us and show them the way to freedom!

  7. 7:1 when I would healed Israel, then the iniquity Of Ephraim was discovered and the wickedness is Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief come th in, and the troop of robbers spoiled without.

  8. “Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not. And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the Lord their God, nor seek him for all this.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭7:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Sin and pride will cause blindness. It doesn’t seem logical for someone not to notice their strength is gone or some gray hair has set in. That’s a dangerous place to be. You think “I’m doing good I can hear from God just like anyone else” but the truth is you are blinded by sin and pride. And the only antidote is humble yourself and repent. Turn your face and your heart to God quickly!

“First pride, then the crash— the bigger the ego, the harder the fall. It’s better to live humbly among the poor than to live it up among the rich and famous. It pays to take life seriously; things work out when you trust in GOD.”
    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:18-20‬ ‭MSG‬‬

  9. Despite all the signs, Israel Ignores God

Hosea 7:1-2 msg Every time I gave Israel a fresh start, wiped the slate clean and got them going again, Ephraim soon filled the slate with new sins, the treachery of Samaria written out in bold print. Two-faced and double tongued, they steal you blind, pick you blind, pick you clean. It never crosses their mind that I keep account of their every crime. They’re mud-spattered head to toe with the residue of sin I see who they are and what they’ve done.

Unless man repent ,God sees man continually ,encompassed by all his past evil deeds; they surround him

Proverbs 5:22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

Repent the Kingdom of God is at hand!!!

  10. 2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

There are consequences for our sins. Repent for the mistakes you make and even for the ones you’re not aware of! They’re before God and it displeases Him.

  11. Deceive- (of a person) cause (someone) to believe something that is not true, typically in order to gain some personal advantage.

There are many forms of deception but we are often most deceived by what we’re most vulnerable to.
Open your ears and listen with your eyes for a moment. There is a very good reason behind fasting and prayer and reading. It’s your protection, it’s your covering, it’s what keeps you safe from falling into the temptation of this world.
    Temptation is sly
    Temptation is cunning
Temptation is a hellish shriek that our EARS cannot hear.
This world loves wickedness but that been deceived into thinking there’s nothing better….but I know a God. I know a God that’s got the Goods.
Let’s share to the world today how good he is and how there’s nothing like Jesus.
Can’t nobody do me like Jesus
Can’t nobody do me like the Lord!

iBless you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ

  12. iLove the Kingdom
    Hosea 7:2 NLT

    (2) Its people don’t realize that I am watching them. Their sinful deeds are all around them, and I see them all.

What is one of the main reasons that church folk (or Israel) sins? I think that most people don’t realize God is watching them. God sees everything we do, whether good or bad. This is what keeps me from the sinful lifestyle. Simply knowing my Father has me on 24/7 video and audio surveillance has a way of keeping a person in check. This reminds me of a story from a new believer. Their son had told them their vehicle was side swiped by some stranger on the side of the street. Later they looked at the cameras I had just installed and found out the son had side swiped the vehicle himself. Finally after confronted with the video, he confessed. Ha. How we must look to God when we think we are getting away with sin.

  13. 10 Their arrogance testifies against them, yet they don’t return to the Lord their God or even try to find him. (NLT)

Straight up pride and rebellion, no ignorance here. These guys not only knew better than to not sin, but they know the Lord and how to find Him too. Some people think they’re too good for God, they got life under control… But God I need Thee, Oh I need Thee. Every hour I need Thee!!

  14. 2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

    It never crosses their mind
that I keep account of their every crime.
They’re mud-spattered head to toe with the residue of sin.
I see who they are and what they’ve done.

I once watched a documentary about a man with a photographic memory and I thought to myself that’s kinda like God. There is nothing that He does not see and cannot remember if He wanted to. In these verses we see that God keeps account of every crime. It’s so easy for the sinner to continue in sin because sometimes there is not a immediate punishment for ones sin. It’s like they have been deceived into thinking He’s not watching. Yet the reality is He is watching He knows all things and sees all things.

Yet, I am so greatful for His mercy! He gave himself for me. That my sins could be covered. This takes place at repentance and baptism. This gives us an opportunity to come to the father not in shame but in confidence. Repentance is a key element of not just the initial coming to God but the daily coming to God.

If we only experienced salvation once and never go back to the altar we would miss out on all He has for us. The initial repentance and receiving of the Holy Ghost gave us access into the Kingdom but the daily refilling is shaping us to activate the power that is within us and walk in dominion and authority.

  16. “This is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my [waking] thoughts were extremely troubling and alarming and my face grew pale; but I kept the matter [of the vision and the angel’s explanation] to myself.”
    DANIEL 7:28 AMP

At the end of any matter you going through on your walk .Forgetting about the problems and focusing on the vision without looking back or to the side remember. Is the end of the matter just a little bit longer just keep on walking.

  17. 2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

This verse reminds me of Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. My I sow continuelly into God’s kingdom. So that he remembers me as his when it is time to reap and also when it is time to sow. That what he sees a someone seeking his face and not someone seeking the world.

    WOW and BOOM!

What a watermark weekend for The POFW and what a powerful and prophetic WORD from the LORD through Pastor Len Whitaker on Sunday Night. Now this WORD today to confirm all that was spoken last night.

The WORD of the LORD last night to The POFW was to stay connected to JESUS, your Pastor and The POFW. What we witness here in verses 12-16 is the outcome of people that leave and are not sent by GOD. We must protect ourselves and be prayerfully cautious about listening to people that walk out, leave or just depart from their post or calling in the LORD.

The Kingdom of GOD is about order and increase. The 2 principals work together. As we follow and OBEY the ORDER of GOD we experience the INCREASE of GOD.

    and…

As people DISREGARD the ORDER of GOD they will experience the DECREASE and DESTRUCTION of GOD.

Lets secure our CONNECTION to JESUS, Pastor and The POFW to be in alignment with the promises of GOD.

  19. 2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

God does not forget. This is good and bad. He is able to blot out our sins so completely that it is as if they had never existed but only when we truly repent. God is holy and just, and sin is sin. When we sin, we’re telling God that He doesn’t matter to us. We are guilty and deserve only His judgment, and no matter how hard we try or how much money we have, we can’t erase our sins. Only God can forgive our sins and cancel our judgement.

  20. 13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

There is only one end to those that do not follow Jesus Christ in truth. People may put on a front to act like they are serving God, however, it never works out when you leave the path to be liberated. Sin lies at the door. God is a merciful God and He puts up with a lot of stuff from His people, but there is coming a day when His grace/mercy will end and judgement will come. We must not allow the deception to be mistaken for repentance. Our walk will reveal our heart, and where our heart is there will our treasure be also.

  21. 15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

How the mighty have fallen comes to my mind in reflecting on those who have walked away from their posts or calling, who have walked away from the church. Some may have been wounded but for others, it could be pride or even deceit. But God is merciful and while there is yet time, he is willing to be merciful and forgive. Praying for the backsliders and fallen saints to come home while it is still day.

  22. 15 I trained them and made them strong, yet now they plot evil against me.

Reading this is troubling. How does the creation turn against the Creator? When He’s the one that made us, strengthen us, trained us, equipped us?

  23. They look everywhere except to the Most High. They are as useless as a crooked bow. Their leaders will be killed by their enemies because of their insolence toward me. Then the people of Egypt will laugh at them.
    Hosea 7:16 NLT
1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

Israel keep on looking for other gods for other things to please. And satisfy them they also attached to things of the world that they forgot there GOD they know GOD real but the refuse to turn to him
GOD saying I right here I am the GOD amighty he want to help us saved us but GOD why do we keep rejecting you why do we turn to other. You see Israel is just like the world today people rather have the things of this world satisfy them then thy kingdom GOD want to help Israel but they keep running

    because I can’t live without you🎶🎶

There’s No Me Without You I can’t move without you
So tell me what can I do 🎶

  24. Burning like an oven, they consume their leaders. They kill their kings one after another, and no one cries to me for help.
    Hosea 7:7 NLT

And no one cries to me for help… in the chaos of it all, it’s God who wants us to cry out to him. He is the only one that can do anything. He is God. He as it all in control. Don’t be lost in the havoc and sin but cry out to Him. He is your God. He can move in your situation. He can call the storm he can heal, he can restore, he can make things happen. He is the way.

  25. Hosea 7:2, “And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.” (KJV)
Hosea 7:2, “It’s people don’t realize that I’m watching them. Their sinful deeds are all around them, and I see them all.” (NLT)

“They consider not” (to think about carefully; to take into account) that God is always watching. He sees and remembers all things.
So before doing any thing, PRAY! Remember – think about carefully and take into account – that God is always watching and He remembers all things.

  26. But they never consider that I remember all their evil. Now their sins are all around them; they are right in front of My face. Israel’s arrogance testifies against them, yet they do not return to Yahweh their God, and for all this, they do not seek Him. Woe to them, for they fled from Me; destruction to them, for they rebelled against Me! Though I want to redeem them, they speak lies against Me.
    Hosea 7:2‭, ‬10‭-‬10‭, ‬13 HCSB

All sin and prayerlessness is arrogance and idolatry against God. Sin says that we are above the laws of God, that our way is better than His, and that our fleshly desires are more important than His Holy commands. Similarly, prayerlessness says that we don’t need God, that we can make it through our day on our own, and that we are above needing God’s input and direction in our daily decisions.

We say we don’t pray because we are too busy, but like Ephraim we have deceived ourselves. The things that we are daily NOT too busy for reveal our true priorities and beliefs, like the personal primping, the multiple meals, the lengthy conversation with the attractive co-worker, the ball game, the news, social media, or some other form of entertainment.

Israel knew what repentance would require of them, so they refused to call on God. We, likewise, often avoid praying because we already know what we want to do. We foolishly believe that if we don’t ask God what He wants, then we are not guilty of disobeying Him. Again, all we’ve revealed through our prayerlessness is our own idolatry. We speak lies against the Most High, calling Him our God, but refusing to call upon Him as God.

And God says, “They never consider that I remember ALL their evil.” Let us, therefore, “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
    Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7 KJV

  27. “They look everywhere except to the Most High. They are as useless as a crooked bow. Their leaders will be killed by their enemies because of their insolence toward me. Then the people of Egypt will laugh at them.”
    ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭7:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

    HE is the answer!
When in trouble people look everywhere and to anyone searching for an answer. But we as people of God know that the answer to any situation will come from seeking after the Most High! Let’s go and tell others in who their answer will be found.

  28. 13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

  29. When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.

5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.

7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.

A practical disbelief of God’s government was at the bottom of all israel’s wickedness; as if God could not see it or did not heed it. Their sins appear on every side of them. Their hearts were inflamed by evil desires, like a heated oven. In the midst of their troubles as a nation, the people never thought of seeking help from God. The actual wickedness of men’s lives bears a very small proportion to what is in their hearts. But when lust is inwardly cherished, it will break forth into outward sin. Those who tempt others to drunkenness never can be their real friends, and often design their ruin. Thus men execute the Divine vengeance on each other. Those are not only heated with sin, but hardened in sin, who continue to live without prayer, even when in trouble and distress.

  30. 5 On royal holidays, the princes get drunk with wine, carousing with those who mock them.

So many look forward to holidays, they look forward to getting drunk. Instead of quality family time, they rather drink the night away. For some reason, they feel that alcohol is required during a holiday. I was part of that crowd once a upon a time, but realized alcohol is not needed to enjoy time with the family and friends.

  31. Verse 10 CEV “I am the Lord, their God, but in all of their troubles their pride keeps them from returning to me.”

Have you ever allowed your pride to prevent you from seeking God? Im sure I have at times. The craziest thing is when God desires to save you and deliver you and we’re to proud to seek His help. We must humble ourselves and fall upon the rock and be broken because if not the rock will fall on us and we will be crushed.

  32. The WORD of GOD has brought me to tears time and time again, but this time because of rebellion that I thought to be hidden……….there is NO THING HIDDEN FROM GOD!!! 9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.

I LOVE YOU JESUS, THANK YOU, MY SOUL CRIES ABBA FATHER.

  33. 2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face.

  34. God’s thoughts are clearly high above our own, although the nearest emotion we readily relate to in this passage is his evident frustration with the nation of Israel. They’re howling in the night upon their beds at all they’re going through and yet they still ‘have not cried unto me with their heart…’ They recognize their situation is beyond what they can handle and still don’t look to the God who had chosen them and set them apart for deliverance.

They’re still coming together as ‘they assemble themselves for corn and wine,’ so they have the opportunity to remind themselves and yet instead they chose to continue to live in rebellion against their God. Some of them have even apparently grown in wisdom along the way and yet for their actions, you’d never assume they knew it themselves. God has gone as far as to ‘have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.’

This testimony doesn’t make sense for those who should’ve known God and yet it is their recorded testimony… and serves as a warning for us today. Somewhere in the pursuit of their own will they lost sight of the will of God. Somehow they lost sight of the one that could have delivered them anytime, anywhere, in any situation. He no longer even came to mind even when they struggled in their plight.

This passage speaks so well of the mind of a backslider. Their life may not make sense in light of what they used to know, but they’re no longer in their right mind… and He may no longer really even enter their thoughts. That is where we come in! We can be their reminder! We can show them hope! If they’re someone who we still know, we can take the time with them and allow our testimony to be the open epistle that jogs their memory of God and his ways. We can continue to invite them and never give up!

  35. 14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
God is never mocked. What one thinks is done in secret is always known by God. You cannot put on the things of this world and still expect to be all that God desires and equips you to be.

  36. 1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without.

It was gods desire to heal them but because of they’re sins he did not .
Sometimes god wants to give us a blessing but be cause of our pride and stubbornness we don’t receive our blessing

  37. 12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.

  38. This chapter is a good reminder that what one person does or does not do can affect all of those around us. When we choose who we associate with we choose who we are judged with, because invariably who you hang out with will lead to how you act. It is good to be strong in the Lord and to stand against the wiles of the devil, against the wiles of our own flesh. Because although we are in this world we cannot be of this world. That is why it is so very important who you allow into your life, even temporarily because their actions could cause, if not you, then maybe those around you to stumble or to even fall. I pray that in all I do, I gaurd my heart and my actions and live how God wants me to live. Praise the Lord for He is all knowing and gives us so many examples for how to live by. Praise the Lord for HE IS GOD! Hallelujah!

  39. 13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me…
14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
16 They return, but not to the most High…
Israel ran from God instead of to Him. Then they cried but not with their heart, schemed against Him, and returned to a show of godliness but not true repentance. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that will he also reap. Gal. 6:7

  40. Our focus must be on God, We cannot afford to have our attention on the things of this world, when there is so much to do for the kingdom. The devil would love for us let our guard down and forget what is important. By keeping our mind stayed on Jesus, we will overcome the things of this world.

  41. The furnace mentioned in Daniel was a place the king would throw all those that didn’t bow down and worship him (king Nebuchadnezzar) as their god. When they refused to bow before him the three Hebrew boys Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into this oven. They were accompanied by the presence of a fourth man as the son of God (Dan 3:25). The oven spoken of here is the people that devour their own selves like judges and governors for their own pride literally is devouring them.

  42. They look everywhere except to the Most High. They are as useless as a crooked bow. Their leaders will be killed by their enemies because of their insolence toward me. Then the people of Egypt will laugh at them.
    Hosea 7:16 NLT

When we get in a bind or have a need of something we tend to look everywhere else but God. God should be the first one we go to in every situation because He is the one that has all the answers and He can do it.

  43. 15 I trained them and strengthened their arms,
but they plot evil against me.

The Word of the Lord is something that guides, corrects, leads, rebukes, and we must not take it for granted. Many people think that they can do whatever they want but we must stay close to God, the Church, and Pastor as God warned us this weekend. I want to be part of that blessing. Going to God is what going to give us the strength, power, rebuke, guidance, love, comfort, peace, and everything else we need. We don’t need to seek no more but go to Jesus!!! With Jesus we have it all!!!

  44. Verse 1
God’s gracious intentions to heal and restore Israel was blocked by the realities of Ephraim’s rebellion. The charge here reiterated murder and looting by priests. God wanted to renew the nation. However, the wickedness of one segment, Ephraim, and its corrupt capital Samaria made that renewal impossible.

I wonder how many times we stop God from healing us or those who come to church looking for the healing or to be restore.
Help me Jesus not to be in rebellion to you Lord!!!

  45. “What sorrow awaits those who have deserted me! Let them die, for they have rebelled against me. I wanted to redeem them, but they have told lies about me.(Hosea 7:13 NLT)

In this verse Gods explaining what sorrow awaits for the people who have turned away from him for there wicked ways. God said let them die because they have been rebellious towards his. God wanted to save them from there wicked ways, but they refuse to tell lies about him.
