Acts Chapter 11

40 Days of FIRE – Day 32

Day 32: Acts Ch.11. The Church was made aware of a need, and they determined to meet it as they were able. Throughout the Book of Acts, we read where the early church met needs among their own congregation as they had the opportunity. They took care of their own. When the Lord’s Church takes care of its own and those around them as a demonstration of what Christ has done for them on the cross, it is a powerful testimony.  Ask God to help you be a “bountiful giver” for His kingdom purposes, and to help others do the same.

JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

Acts 11

And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:

13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

  1. Well God still does things good and on time. I love how this passage says that the disciples were the first Christians.

  2. “As I began to speak,” Peter continued, “the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as he fell on us at the beginning. Then I thought of the Lord’s words when he said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?”
Acts of the Apostles 11:15‭-‬17 NLT

We hold the truth within our hearts! Our vision – our mission should always be like Peter!!

  4. Jesus, let us keep our brothers and sisters in Christ always in our hearts and minds. Give us a heart for missions so we may see bountifully into that ministry. Let us raise each other up so none may go without. In Jesus name

  5. 26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch

  6. Acts 11:20-24
    20) And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

    24) For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

These scriptures are a good example of “One planting, One watering, and God giving the increase.”

  7. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

This verse makes me want to shout HALLELUJAH THANK YOU JESUS!!!!! He gave US the gift of repentance!!! He gave US the gift of the HOLY GHOST!!!! He didn’t have to do it for He was called unto this earth for His people the children of Israel but He saw the crumbs snatchers running picking up the smallest crumbs that fell from the Master’s table!!! May we NEVER take for granted a crumb!!!!

  8. 23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Good looks at the heart; where we purpose our hearts reveals to God who we are and what we value/worship. We may be able to fool others, but God sees the heart. This is why Barnabas encourages us to cleave to the Lord, especially in times when we know we’ve received unmeritted favor. To cleave means to to adhere firmly and closely or loyally and unwaveringly – today Lord, I choose to purpose my heart on Your Kingdom and cleave unto You!!

  9. Acts11
11 1-3 The news traveled fast and in no time the leaders and friends back in Jerusalem heard about it—heard that the non-Jewish “outsiders” were now “in.” When Peter got back to Jerusalem, some of his old associates, concerned about circumcision, called him on the carpet: “What do you think you’re doing rubbing shoulders with that crowd, eating what is prohibited and ruining our good name?”

Famous quote in memory of my husband Michael Bower
“I’d rather be in the room with a house full of sinners than a house full of saints.”

To Be Like Jesus. The heart of a true evangelist.

    Mark 2:17
And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Matthew 9:10-13 New International Version (NIV)
10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

I pray that You will lead me Lord to anyone who is hurting . Those who need you the most those who are searching for You Lord.
I pray I could have a heart like You . In Jesus Name.
Lead me Lord Daily for Your Kingdom .

  10. 6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

During these last days we will asked by God to reach for people that will bring us out of our comfort zone and it will be people that we may not be very comfortable talking to in the first place. But just as Peter stated that he would not stand in the way of God’s purpose neither should we withstand ourselves. God has no preference on the type of person he wants to reach, as long as they are breathing their souls that need to be taught and reached. Heard a man once say that if you reach for the people nobody wants God will give you the people that everybody wants.

  11. saying, “You went to uncircumcised men and [even] ate with them!”
    ACTS 11:3 AMP

We still have people like that unfortunately and the church.
Wow! I can’t believe you went
    To the shelters
    To the projects
    To the Vegas Trail
    To the Como Lake area
    To the homeless
This is what I’ve been hearing since I came back to Fort Worth. If they only knew the whole story they probably won’t even talk to me. Thank you Jesus for your Grace & Mercy.

  12. Oh, It’s Nothing. (Love this!)
Then news of these things came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go as far as Antioch. When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad, and encouraged them all that with purpose of heart they should continue with the Lord. For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.
    Acts 11:22-24
If any early church leader could be called a servant, it is Barnabas. He initiated and did whatever it took to raise morale, men, or money. He led with clarity and by example by becoming a servant. He considered no task too small. What allowed Barnabas to demonstrate such a lifestyle? He had…

Nothing to prove– Barnabas didn’t have to play games. He never sought the limelight. When he mentored Paul, he happily let emerging Apostle rise above him.
Nothing to lose– Barnabas didn’t have to guard his reputation or fear that he will lose popularity. He came to serve, not to be served. This enabled him to focus on giving, not getting.
Nothing to hide– Barnabas didn’t maintain a facadr or image. He remained authentic, vulnerable, and transparent. He could Rejoice with others victories.

We must serve with purpose of heart ❤
Let’s REJOICE together of all the miracles God has done and is going to do in every life.

  13. 26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

It’ great to share the gospel with people and see them receive the revelation of who Jesus is, be baptized and receive the holy ghost. However, it doesn’t stop there, then we must teach them (disciple them) how to be a true christian. This takes time, prayer, travail and love. Everyone grows at their own pace. We can’t force feed them. We must give them a little at a time until they become christ-like. Go – make disciples, build the Kingdom of God.

  14. It’s funny how often the giving of God’s people arises in our discussions with those outside the church. Apart from our lifestyle, it is one of the more spoken upon subjects by those who are not in the church. They have no real relationship to depend upon for understanding our God, they cannot really understand the marked differences they see, but they can grasp that we’re willingly giving of our finances… the very item many of them hold on to as dearly as they can. When they see us put our money behind our beliefs, even they recognize it is more than just a passing fad.

We tell them it is more blessed to give than to receive and they still look upon us without comprehension. In their minds the receiving is by far the greater position… and if we’re not careful, sometimes that philosophy tries to slip into the church unawares. It doesn’t try to disagree with our spiritual desires or convictions, it just places a little doubt here and there about our needs that we know have to be met. It tries to shift our focus from without to within. It wants us to be worrying about whether we’ve set enough aside instead of focusing on where we can make a difference.

God forbid that such doubts should ever impact our ability to give into his kingdom. When our focus is within, on our needs, we’re no longer contributing at the fullness of our capacity. We may not disagree, but we’re not really fully in agreement either… we want to make sure everything is going to be all right. Faith however is the substance of things not seen! I can continue to give as God directs knowing that he has promised to meet all my needs, and that he wouldn’t place more upon me than I can bear. He is a good father and my first desire in all things is to remain pleasing unto him!

  15. 7 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? J.soliz

  16. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

  17. 1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

What man thought for evil, God turned into a great testimony. As we see in this chapter, God can reach even those people that may be thought useless to preach too. God truly cares and as He said in Mathew we need to, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall damned.” God is truly merciful and gracious, yet when it comes to salvation God is very clear that who the person is doesn’t matter when it comes into salvation. Even in the parable of the bridegroom, when the friends would not come the servants were instructed to go into the highways and the byways to find people to come to the feast. The same is true today, we need to be trying to reach everybody, if someone refuses God then we go to someone else and never stop trying to bring people to God, never stop sharing His gospel! Praise the Lord for He is great!

  18. 29 Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea. This they also did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

  19. 4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

Our testimony is powerful. It will help others and if we are sensitive to the Holy Ghost, he will show us when to use to lead another soul to the Lord.

  20. So the believers in Antioch decided to send relief to the brothers and sisters
in Judea, everyone giving as much as they could.
    Acts 11:29 NLT

The evidence of a strong Church is when we demonstrate to one another the principles of the kingdom of God : love, peace , Justice, and Mercy

  21. 2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

There is an interesting dichotomy between these two scriptures. First they contented, then held their peace. Which brings the question to me, were they fools to contend not knowing the answer that they would have held their peace. Or should they have contended? Peter expected it, having rehearsed answer. But were those that contended right? And what would be the correct way? Hold your peace from the beginning, or contend (with all the evils there in) with anger and hopefully get an answer that would hold your peace?

  22. Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.
    Acts 11:19 KJV

These saints were fleeing their homes because of persecution. The enemy meant the persecution to silence them, but even as they fled, they were telling others about Jesus. Moreover, they were telling the very same others (Jews) who were persecuting then. Thus, everywhere they fled to became a place where the Gospel was spread among the Jews.

Though these saints had to leave their homes and old lives behind, they did not allow fear to quench their joy in sharing their newfound love of Christ with others. We have no persecution, yet we often let fear keep us silent. May God restore unto us the joy of our salvation, and may that joy bubble out on everyone we meet, in Jesus’ name!

  23. THY KINGDOM COME
    THE KING MAKES THE RULES

14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

It is obvious to me that the Book of Acts demonstrates to us the power and purpose of the church is to teach and preach the Gospel to the “New Birth”. Peter again finds himself in an uncomfortable situation and the TRUTH makes him FREE.

When we consider the importance and value the early disciples placed on the New Birth doctrine, we understand the effectiveness of the message. Peter was preaching an unpopular message to an unworthy people. However, THE KING MAKES THE RULES. The willingness of Peter to obey the voice of JESUS, resulted in every nation and every tongue being empowered to receive the New Birth experience. Thank you JESUS!

We must understand and believe that this same JESUS is alive and well today and HIS heart and mission remain the same. GO, Teach and Baptize (Matt 28:19). May JESUS grant us the courage and boldness to OBEY and FULFILL this great opportunity to share the Gospel of JESUS with everyone, everywhere.

  25. 6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Thank you Jesus that he allowed all of us to be able to receive His Spirit. The Holy Ghost is for every one. As we are winding down on 40 of Fire. My personal commitment is too continue the drive that I have gotten these past few weeks. I feel revived in spirit and body. Thank you Jesus for all that you have done in my life.

  26. Verses 22-24 MSG “When the church in Jerusalem got wind of this, they sent Barnabas to Antioch to check on things. As soon as he arrived, he saw that God was behind and in it all. He threw himself in with them, got behind them, urging them to stay with it the rest of their lives. He was a good man that way, enthusiastic and confident in the Holy Spirit’s ways. The community grew large and strong in the Master.” We too must be the same as Barnabas and not only get behind what God is doing; but, throw ourselves into it, encouraging one another to stay with it.

  27. iLove the Kingdom
Acts 11:2-3 NLT But when Peter arrived back in Jerusalem, the Jewish believers criticized him. (3) “You entered the home of Gentiles and even ate with them!” they said.

Criticism will always come from those that do not understand. It doesn’t matter if they have the Holy Ghost or not, it will come. The thing is, we who are criticized should not allow ourselves get bitter, but should at least give an explanation as of why we threw a common practice out the window. Peter didn’t lash out at the bretheren, all he did was humbly explain what happened.

  28. 23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Your kindness leads me to repentance
Your goodness draws me to Your side
Your mercy calls me to be like You
    Your favor is my delight
Every day, I’ll awaken my praise
And pour out a song from my heart

Because of your kindness and because of your mercy I will cleave unto you, I will purpose my heart on you!

  29. “And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬
They were first called Christians and baptized in Jesus name here. First of your a Christian then you were baptized in Jesus’s name. First.

  30. 21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

When God’s hand is with you there is nothing that can stop you. God takes care of His people and those who he calls he equips to fulfill that calling. God can anoint us to reach multitudes of people.

  31. I Love To Worship The Lord
    Barnabas
    (11:25)
This delightful man whose name means Encourager had risked introducing the persecutor Saul into the church after his conversion. Now he searches out Saul to share in ministry in Antiochs Gentile church. How we need people like Barnabas today

  32. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
    Acts 11:17‭-‬18 KJV
After Peter’s indisputable testimony how God directed him in a vision and then filled those Gentiles with the Holy Ghost, how could the Jews argue with God. They acknowledge the truth that God granted repentance unto life to the Gentiles by filling them with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost and Fire signifying that God accepted their sacrifice of repentance. Glory to God I’m so glad he did!!!!

  33. 6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

  34. 1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

It should be something for us to rejoice about that more and more people hear the Word of God rather than bring about contention. I’m thankful that times have changed for the better in that aspect and that this word can reach all nations.

  35. So the believers in Antioch decided to send relief to the brothers and sisters in Judea, everyone giving as much as they could.
Acts of the Apostles 11:29 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/act.11.29.NLT

The power of giving and sowing into ministry. We will never know who we have a hand in reaching if we don’t give for the expansion and preaching of the word. We might not. Be able to go all over the world but our giving can.

  36. Josiah: 29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
Everyone of the disciples did it according to their ability. They went in whole heartedly. Whatever we may do in the Kingdom of God we should do according to our ability not based on what others do. We should give our all as we labour in the Kingdom of Jesus. When Forty Days of Fire ends we should still be on fire for Jesus. So, let us GO ACCORDING TO OUR ABILITY in JESUS NAME!

  37. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

God didn’t segregate heaven by race and religion. He made each race equally because each person is created in his likeness and in his image. Each person is given free will as to what they believe and understand by upbringing. This doesn’t mean they should be apart from eachother because of such differences. Here God has given them the revelation that he died for all that sin may be forgiven. He desires that none should perish but all have everlasting life. He wants us to get this revelation that separation and holiness is from the things of this world that are sinful and not of our brethren in the church.

  38. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

  39. 12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:

God has us covered no matter the circumstances we are into

  40. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Jesus died for all of us! And gave EVERYONE the opportunity to know Him and make Him know . I’m thankful for God’s sacrifice on the cross, His love is so great!

  41. 9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
Even unto the sinner that just got baptized or refilled sometimes we forget not to judge by the outer appearance…..

  42. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

“What was I that I could withstand God?”

God’s instruction and direction deserves a immediate response. Yet too often we try to reason things out and God is wanting us to Just Do It! Put on your Nike’s and get to going.

We cannot allow ourselves to reason our way out of obeying His voice or receiving His promise. What He has spoken let it be so. Yet, you must first learn the voice of God.

  43. And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

The imperfect state of human nature strongly appears, when godly persons are displeased even to hear that the word of God has been received, because their own system has not been attended to. And we are too apt to despair of doing good to those who yet, when tried, prove very teachable. It is the bane and damage of the church, to shut out those from it, and from the benefit of the means of grace, who are not in every thing as we are. Peter stated the whole affair. We should at all times bear with the infirmities of our brethren; and instead of taking offence, or answering with warmth, we should explain our motives, and show the nature of our proceedings. That preaching is certainly right, with which the Holy Ghost is given. While men are very zealous for their own regulations, they should take care that they do not withstand God; and those who love the Lord will glorify him, when made sure that he has given repentance to life to any fellow-sinners. Repentance is God’s gift; not only his free grace accepts it, but his mighty grace works it in us, grace takes away the heart of stone, and gives us a heart of flesh. The sacrifice of God is a broken spirit.

  44. “But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When God cleans something it stays that way. It is only our small way of thinking that makes anything rely on us.

  45. 9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

God raises up kings and kingdoms and he tears them down as he sees fit. He is no respector of men, therefore, his Word will accomplish that which he is set out to do. If God speaks something it will happen. If God says something is unrighteous it is unrighteous and if it’s clean it must be clean.
