Acts Chapter 4

40 Days of FIRE – Day 37

Day 37: Acts Ch.4. The early Church took care of its own because they were so interconnected with one another. This is the true essence of biblical fellowship. However today we are segmented and isolated. We are connected digitally but isolated personally, and this is not the biblical definition of fellowship. We’ll never know what is going on in the lives of the Church until we begin to understand what true fellowship is all about. Ask God to help you be an active part of helping to meet needs within the Church.

JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

Acts 4

And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.

Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.

18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.

23 And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.

24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus,

37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

  1. But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard…

    Acts 4:17‭-‬20‭, ‬23‭-‬24‭, ‬29‭, ‬31 KJV

I love that Peter and John answered their persecuters with more confidence than they really had. They knew the right answer to give; and under pressure, they gave it. However, Peter remembered making a similar declaration before and failing under the same kind of pressure. Thus, they went immediately to a group prayer meeting to ask for the boldness to do what they already said they were going to do. They were humble enough to admit their own weakness and to know that they needed help to face what was coming.

God can use those who admit they need help. Anytime we try to stand in our own strength and determination, we fall. (Pride goes before destruction…) However, those that do know their God [and how to call on Him for help], shall be strong and do exploits. It’s not by our might, or by our own power that we overcome the wickedness in our world, but by God’s Spirit, which anoints us with a holy boldness and His authority.

When we recognize our weaknesses and take them to the Cross, we can rise to stand in Christ’s righteousness and power. Then, the same Spirit and grace that held Jesus to the Cross can empower and embolden us to endure whatever we must for His name’s sake. God will give us the grace we need, when we need it, IF we bring our fears and weaknesses to Him.

  2. Selling to sell out.

Joses was a man of money. He had a lot of land he took it and sold it, giving everything he had to the apostles to go into the ministry. What great faith you must have to be able to sell everything you have to follow Christ.

    Are you willing?
    Are you hungry enough?

  3. Verses 29-32 CEV “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. Stretch out your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness. All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.”

2 Timothy 1:7 AMP says “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”

  4. 33 And with great power the apostles gave Witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great Grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked, for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold.

  5. 9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

All they wanted was for them to stop talking about Jesus, but that was impossible for Jesus was in everything that they did. Peter’s boldness was great for he doesn’t only speaks about Jesus but he doesn’t let them forget that they crucified him. He wants them to repent, he wants them to feel the guilt. To see that what they meant for evil He turned it into good. There is salvation when we share our testimony, they will repent and our everything at His feet. So speak with boldness, share the good news don’t let anyone quiet you down!!!! Go! Teach! And share the good news SALVATION IS HERE!!’

  6. Acts4: 11-12 (English Amp) This (Jesus) is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner [ the
Cornerstone] . [ Ps.118:22] The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.[ 12] And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must save. Let’s all build our house on the kingdom of the Lord, that nothing will not be able to tear it down. God’s power is so strong through prayer and love and the Holy Ghost. Be a builder for God kingdom.

  7. 19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

The scripture has been used more than once to justify someone not being submissive, without taking into context that the story is not telling us to obey God rather than man per se but it is telling us when man is telling you something that is contradicting his word that it is better to obey God. God has placed men and women over our lives of prey constant protection over us and lead us with a loving hand and see things that we don’t, it is imperative that we trust the Judgment in the vision that God has given them and that we do submit to them. When you submit to a man that God has placed over your life you are ultimately submitting to God and it brings him glory.

  8. iLove the Kingdom

2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

The devil is always grieved when Bible Studies are being taught. The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword ⚔️. It’s the Word of God that changes folks, it’s the Word of God that washes minds, it’s the Word of God that has creative power… in fact… we should all make it a point to grieve the devil and we should all teach a Bible Study every opportunity We have and deem it as payback for all the grief the enemy has attempted to bring us

  9. Acts 4:11-13

  10. 29. And now, Lord, take note of their intimidations intended to silence us. Grant us, Your servants, the courageous confidence we need to go ahead and proclaim Your message.

    31. They finished their prayer, and immediately the whole place where they had gathered began to shake. All the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began speaking God’s message with courageous confidence. Voice

Like Fort Worth, there was a spirit of intimidation there that tried to silence the Truth…but God wasn’t going to let that happen then, and he won’t allow it to happen now. The only question is, will we allow Him to use us, or will He have to find someone else?

  11. 19 But Peter and John replied, judge for yourself whether it is right in God site to obey you rather than God.
20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard

  12. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

There’s no denying what scripture says, there is but one name, it is the name given where we must be saved. That Name heals restores strengthens brings joy and all of those things but it also saves.

  13. But many of the people of Fort Worth who heard their message believed it, so the number of men who believed now totaled about 5,000.

I’m thankful to be in a truth preaching, holy ghost-filled church that is growing and has the favor of the Lord upon it. I’m thankful to be apart of this great Revival and able to work with the talents God has given me for this Harvest. Thy KINGDOM COME

  14. 1. And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,
2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
3 And they laid hands on them, and put them in hold unto the next day: for it was now eventide.
4 Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand.

No matter how hard the world tries to silence it; this truth shall triumph. It shall not stop spreading until the whole world has heard this saving message and our Jesus comes to take us home!

  15. Acts 4
13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

    Changed in His Presence
I’ve been with Jesus and I’m so happy I can feel Him in my soul. With Love He sought me with blood He bought me I’ve been with Jesus and I know.
Ignorant and unlearned became bold and mighty. God takes what others perched as unusable and uses them for His glory! Many lives were changed and God did miracles through Peter and John. It’s not what we see through our human eyes but what God sees. We are changed when we get into His presence and we too can have this boldness no matter what walk of life we have come from.
For the Kingdom. In Jesus Name.

  16. 18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.

I went to a meeting yesterday for work. And I saw one of my old coworkers. He asked how church was doing. I told him about all the wonderful things that have been happening at POFW. His eyes got big, and all he could say was,” well that’s good bro.” Wow!!!!! “That’s good bro,” is all he could say. Did he not realize that peoples lives have been changed? That they are no longer living with physical and emotional pain. That the God of us all, came down and His Spirit flowed through us and we are now changed.

We can only speak of what we have seen and heard.
    THY KINGDOM COME

  17. Clearly, this event fulfills prophecy which is seen in verse 25 and 26. Moreover, the chief priests in the authorities of the land were opposed of the teaching of Jesus and the works of the holy spirit because it was a threat to their established authority. Likewise, many Christian denominations refused to grow in the word and relationship with the Lord , and accept the gift of the holy spirit because it is in contrast to their traditions.

  18. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
    Acts 4:7‭, ‬10‭-‬12 KJV

    What a beautiful name Jesus!

  19. 29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

Notice what they prayed for: not deliverance from the hard situation, but to be strengthened so they may confidently and boldly speak God’s word. Talk about being Kingdom minded! Most of us would’ve cried woe is me and asked God to get us out of such mess. When really, He probably put us in the mess because He wants us to stay in the mess and to be a part of resolving the mess by sharing the gospel! God change my perception and attitude so I may become Kingdom minded and boldly speak Your word!

  20. “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation].””
    ‭‭ACTS‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

There is no other name. No alternative or substitute for salvation. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords First and the Last. He laid down down the foundation of salvation he is the great cornerstone.

““For the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts says this, ‘I am the First and I am the Last; And there is no God besides Me.”
    ‭‭ISAIAH‬ ‭44:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

  21. Acts 4:29-31
    29) And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word.
    30) By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.
    31) And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

  22. THY KINGDOM COME
    KNOWING JESUS

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The apostles were unashamed in sharing and declaring the name of JESUS. The name of JESUS healed the lame man, the name of JESUS is the path to salvation. The name of JESUS is the foundation of all things.

Everything we accomplish as a church is the result of building on JESUS or doing all things for and in the name of JESUS. The apostle Paul confirmed this fact in his letter to Ephesus.

    Ephesians 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
    20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

As we seek First the Kingdom of GOD, we must prayerfully approach every situation, so that we build our lives on the foundation of JESUS the chief, main or sure corner which makes all things TRUE. We must recognize and not reject JESUS in anything and everything.

  23. 16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

Notable miracles were done because they were full of the Holy Ghost. We must be prayed up on a daily basis so that we can be used of God when the need arises.

Daily we pass people who are in need of Jesus. In order for Him to use us, we must be full of His Spirit. Too many people are running on “E” because they don’t take the time to refuel, renew their spirit each day.

Israelites were fed daily manna from the heavenlies. We must be fed daily from the heavenlies through His word and His Spirit.

  24. It’s time more than ever to speak the Word with BOLDNESS!

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

  25. Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
    Acts 4:34‭-‬35 KJV

Everybody had what they need nobody have more lest. Everybody was equal that will happen again and we all work together Wow!

  26. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. KJV

    What is that name? JESUS
When you are having a bad day whose name do you call on? JESUS
Jesus is the only one that can save our soul don’t be fooled by the negative talkers; keep positive and know that Jesus is the only name!
Seated on high, the undefeated One
Mountains bow down as we lift Him up
    There is no other name
    There is no other name
    There is no other name
    There is no other name
    Jesus

  27. 16 Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.

Notable miracles drew the people to believe in Jesus, that he was the Christ. As we, the church, spread the truth, we know God desires to draw souls to him, so we need to expect notable miracles to be done in our midst, whether they are done in the church itself or not. We can pray the prayer of faith and God will do the miraculous where ever the need arises.

  28. 32 All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. 33 The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. 34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them 35 and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.

    What a testimony!
Feels likes a prime example of a pure missionary!
Giving it all up to spread the gospel!

  29. All the believes were United in HEART and MIND. And they felt that
what they owned was not their own, so they shered everything they had.
    Acts 4:32 NLT

The spirit of generosity in the church created Harmony and a common purpose.

  30. Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. Howbeit many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
    Acts 4:2‭, ‬4‭-‬4‭, ‬12‭, ‬14‭-‬14‭, ‬30‭-‬31 KJV
We have to preach the gospel
Siste Bower yesterday in singles class talked about going out boldly and teaching the gospel she mentioned you don’t have to tell a book but rattle make your conversation short by first started with your testimony
Peter went out boldly and preach the gospel
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
    Mark 16:15 KJV
    We got to be bold
And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
    Acts 8:25 KJV
We be bold to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ for there is no other name that you can be save
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
    Matthew 28:19 KJV
You don’t need to argue with people about the word of GOD the word of GOD back it’s own self up

  31. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

This is right!!! No other name but Jesus!! He is the reason why we are alive!!! The only Name by which we must be saved! Nobody else came to save us from this wicked world but Jesus!!! In Him is whom we have salvation, Love, peace, and everything else that we need!! We can’t keep it inside of us but let the light of Jesus shine and testify to others about Jesus

  32. 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

  33. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

When the right spirit and attitude of the church comes together people give in a biblical way. That way is to put others needs in front of ones own needs and allow God to bless you. When we do that everyone is blessed!!

  34. 2These leaders were very disturbed that Peter and John were teaching the people that through Jesus there is a resurrection of the dead.

The foundation of Christianity. Did Jesus rise from the dead? The leaders could not understand why Peter & John would speak of Jesus whom they believed was dead. Most people want to see a miracle before believing. But Christians walk by faith, and believe Jesus did resurrect. Through our testimonies, we can persuade others about accepting Jesus

  35. If we truly seek to become apostolic in every aspect of our spiritual lives, we cannot forget the importance of fellowship amongst the body. This goes further than those few snatches of conversation we manage to grab in the foyer as we’re entering or leaving the service. You may demonstrate your hospitality in those moments, but you do not truly have the time for any significant fellowship to occur. It is in our fellowship that we get to know one another as individuals to allow those bonds of love to become strong!

The biblical example of fellowship is the breaking of bread from house to house. That requires us to take the time to sit down and enjoy one another’s company without any pressing engagements or commitments. It may involve the sharing of a meal or snacks, but the more important aspect is merely taking time with one another. We wouldn’t be capable of maintaining our marriages without time spent together and to a lesser degree the same is true of any relationship. We need to be willing to invest some time with the rest of the body that the church would be healthy and strong in his love!

  36. 7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
    9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

We cannot be afraid to proclaim God’s name! We cannot be afraid to go forth and share His word! Truly there are so many cool testimonies and miracles that God has done that we should be sharing to those all around us! We need not worry about being mocked or made fun of, God will take care of that later, we should just be sharing God with everyone everywhere! Praise the Lord for He is great! He is mighty! Praise the Lord!!

  37. “And now, O Lord, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭4:29‬ ‭NLT‬‬

They did not ask God to stop the threats, they asked Him to give them the boldness to push through it and preach His word. Boldness requires courage to press on through our fears and do what we know is right in they eyes of God. We need to be more like the disciples and pray for more boldness!

  38. 29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

  39. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

They were of one heart (loved God, the things of God & each other) and of one soul (same mind, unity of purpose & sold out). They gave up their worldly goods and laid them at the apostle’s feet so everyone would be taken care of. How unselfish is that! It is almost inconceivable in our world today! Then miraculously, they had all things common, which meant they provided for the greater good of the group and sold property as was needed.

  40. The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.
Acts of the Apostles 4:13 NLT

This just proves that God can use ordinary people to to extra ordinary things. When we have a relationship with God and know who He is, we too will become bold and people will see that thwre is something different about us. That is what God and His word can do in our life.

  41. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

He is our I am. All salvation comes from Jesus. There is no other God that can save. There is no other name.

  42. “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:31‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We need to Go speak the the Word of God with boldness. We need to pray until the place is shaken until someone gets their miracle.

  43. Josiah: 20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
When we live for God, it should be easy and natural for us to speak the things of the Lord. People may or may not believe us but if they are honest with themselves, miracles are miracles and the Bible shows us what to do. Some people may look like the last person God would use, but like God did with Saul He can refocus their passion on His ministry instead of things of the world! So, let us GO BOLDLY WITNESS of what the Lord has done!

  44. 19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
21 So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.
22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.

I would rather be right in the eyes of God than man anyday. Man often want us to come down to their level and dictate what we can present about God. Yet, I do not live for man and for his wants but my desire is in God.

  45. 14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

I love when a miracle of God shuts hells mouth. The miraculous healing was so undeniable they couldn’t say a word against it. However they can get upset by it, but they can’t stop a move of God.

  46. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”(Acts of the Apostles 4:12 NLT)

There’s only salvation in the Name of Jesus no one else! God himself has given no man or name under heaven to be saved.

  47. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

BOOM… Jesus! Lord you name is Above every name and your name has authority and purpose! No matter the situation I cam delivered by the name of Jesus!

5 And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes,

6 And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

    9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. The apostles preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. It includes all the happiness of the future state; this they preached through Jesus Christ, to be had through him only. Miserable is their case, to whom the glory of Christ’s kingdom is a grief; for since the glory of that kingdom is everlasting, their grief will be everlasting also. The harmless and useful servants of Christ, like the apostles, have often been troubled for their work of faith and labour of love, when wicked men have escaped. And to this day instances are not wanting, in which reading the Scriptures, social prayer, and religious conversation meet with frowns and checks. But if we obey the precepts of Christ, he will support us.

  49. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

No other way but through Jesus! Amen!

  50. 8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
    9 If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.

Tell what Jesus is doing. Give him the credit.

  51. 32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

    UNITY IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!

  52. “Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When the miraculous happens, it can not be denied. The splitting of the Red Sea, the raising of the dead, the flowing of water from a rock in the wilderness, the giving of mannah, the healing of the sick, the opening of blind eyes, the healing of the lame, the givin of the Holy Ghost, and much more! It can not de denied. All these things draw attention to Jesus. When he gets the glory then revival comes. Let revival come!
