Acts Chapter 3

40 Days of FIRE – Day 38

Day 38: Acts Ch.3. We must always be quick to give God the glory for all He has done and is doing. It is never about us, never about me, but always about God and His glory. We go wrong when the focus is taken off God and put on us. We have to be very careful to always give God the glory for everything. Satan will try to puff us up with flattering words from others about what we have done, and we have to be quick to back up and give God the glory for it all. Ask God to help you make sure you give God the glory for all He has done and is doing.

JESUS today YOU will SAVE me.

Acts 3

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

  1. 12. And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

We serve a miracle-working God! It’s part of what He does. When we pray the prayer of faith, we should be more surprised when miracles don’t happen than when they do, always being careful to give God all the glory.

  2. 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

  3. In reading this chapter this morning, the song “My God Can Do Anything” came to my mind:

    My God can do anything
    My God can do anything
    He’s got the power
    He’s got the power
    He’s got the power
    He’s got the power
    My God can do anything

Healed the sick, raised the dead.
    Five thousand mouths He fed.
Lifted me up, turned me around
Placed my feet, on solid ground
    My God can do anything

Acts 3:16 ERV “This crippled man was healed because we trusted in Jesus. It was Jesus’ power that made him well. You can see this man, and you know him. He was made completely well because of faith in Jesus. You all saw it happen!”

  4. 16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

  5. “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:6-7‬ ‭KJV‬‬
We don’t have much to give you no. We don’t have all the money in the world to loan out. We don’t have enough time to give to everybody. But what we do have is that healing Power. Witch with enough faith you can do anything. Stand up be healed in the name of Jesus.

  6. iLove the Kingdom
“Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money.”
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭3:4-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Wow, this really challenges everything I thought about healing and miracle process of God. They didn’t even ask him if he wanted to be healed or not. The man didn’t ask them to be healed. No one asked any questions about healing anyone or being healed and look what God did. They simply spoke a miracle into existence without asking any questions at all

  7. Acts3:16 (English Amp) And His name, through and by faith in His name, has made this man whom you see and recognize well and strong. [Yes] the faith which is through and by Him ( Jesus) has given the man this perfect soundness [ of body] before all of you. Here this crippled man was heal instantly by God power of faith. He raised the dead,He heal blind eyes to see again, He heal the sick, He fed 50,000 souls. He turn me around place our feet on solid ground. Wow a miracle God gave this man . My god can do anything and I give him all the glory and honer. Pray and believe in Him .

The name of JESUS bring healing for his whole life the lame men was lame he would stay by the temple hope that someone would give him something Peter and John didn’t not give him anything but they spoke healing unto him and in the name of JESUS instantly he was healed he began to give GOD the glory the people where amazed the thought if was John and Peter who healed the man but Peter told up and said it not me who done this it JESUS Christ who done this
GOD give us the power to speak healing upon people

  9. 3:17
And now brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
…….. through ignorance, all right, now they know how all happened. What about those who know, who have heard the truth, be in the presence of God and know that it’s alk God?🙏🏼

  10. And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16‭, ‬19 KJV

    ‘Perfect soundness’

This is truly what everyone desires, searching for it in what brings bondage, addictions, and death. True life(living) is and can only be found in Jesus Christ. No longer tormented by sins, no longer suicidal, not bound by alcohol. Today in HIM i live, and move, and have my being!

    Love & Mercy = LIFE❤❤❤

  11. The Bible instructs us that whatsoever we do in word or deed, to do so in Jesus’ name. It is never about us, it is always about him! It is not what we can do ourselves, but what we can accomplish as the power of God is accomplishing his will through us! He allows us to be the vessels of his blessings, but we should always declare that he is the one that has provided for what is in the vessel… because it is what is in the vessel that makes all the difference!

We cannot make ourselves full of his spirit. All we can do is prepare our vessels for his use, to allow his hand to cleanse, to allow his spirit to guide, to even allow his wisdom to reshape our vessels that we might be more profitable in his hand. We prepare ourselves, we consecrate ourselves, we take the time in prayer and fasting with his word and listen to that still small voice to remain in his will and in his way, and he fills the vessel accordingly. We get to see his spirit pour out those blessings through us as we give him the greater glory for all he continues to perform amongst his people!

  12. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

Peter does not let an opportunity to shareJesus Gospel. Any moment is good for Peter to confess about who is Jesus and what He did, is doing, and will do. ALL GLORY AND HINOR BELINGS TO THE LORD!!!! I give thanks unto the Lord everyday for everything we have even our breath belongs to Him!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!

  13. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

As I read this I couldn’t help but think about the friends he had. They knew they couldn’t heal him and they couldn’t save him, but if they could get him to the temple everyday, something would happen. We must surround ourselves with friends, that know that they cannot save nor heal us, but if they can pick us and get us to the House of God, He will be able to make us whole! Someone who can encourage us when we’re down and lead us to an altar when we lose focus. Better yet, we can be this person for someone else!

  14. Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service. As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple.
Acts of the Apostles 3:1‭-‬2 NLT

I believe that people are going to be drawn to the house of God where they think they’re coming for something simple but God has bigger plans. I’m so thankful to serve a miraculous God

  15. Acts 3:2-6
    2) And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
    3) Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
    4) And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
    5) And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
    6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none, but such as i have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

We may not have silver and gold to give to people, but we have something more important than that to give them, and that is JESUS.
Tell someone about Jesus today, and speak Life and Healing into their situation, “In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Rise Up and Walk!”

  16. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

The same man had just denied Jesus only two months prior to preaching this message. God drastically changed who he was and used his boldness for the kingdom of God we need to pray as a church that have that same Holy Ghost boldness to preach that same Christ before all men

  17. I think this is a good example of how the Old Testament really brings out the prophecies of Christ in the New Testament. The Old Testament seems to be mysterious to us in this day as we read the word, however it was very clear to the Jews what was being spoken. This miracle is evidence of how the Lord was speaking to the people to teach them that the one they crucified was the true Messiah.

  18. Acts 3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Psalm 55:17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

  19. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Faith, faith, faith, just a little bit of faith! Its kind of funny like Peter asked the people: why do you marvel? If we come with faith and believe, if we know the power of the name of Jesus, then shouldn’t we also be expecting God to answer? High-expectation faith y’all!!

  20. Acts 3
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

    13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus;

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

    To God Be the Glory!

  21. Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
    Acts 3:1 KJV
Early prayers best time I ever had.

And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
    Acts 3:4 KJV

That’s the same feeling that when you in the store and the Holy Ghost tell you go talk to that person and you’re fast yourself to them and you waiting for the perfect moment.

And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
    Acts 3:5 KJV

And that perfect moment comes and your apportion them with that invitation in hand. And they get all excited because everybody likes to be invited somewhere.

And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
    Acts 3:8 KJV

Not everybody’s excited your heart is leaping and praising God somebody say yes to you! And they are excited because somebody invite him to church cuz they’re being praying for a home Church so they are sleeping I’m praising GodI like happy ending.

  22. 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

So many times we, as humans, look for invitations for a place to stand in the spot light to preach, but here we see that the invitation comes even when we are not planning for it to come. The Word tells us to be “instant in season, out of season”. We must be ready to tell others of the greatness of Jesus at any opportunity.

  23. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Silver and gold have we none. May we have to give what will answer their need, in the name of Jesus.

  24. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.
    Acts 3:21‭-‬24 KJV

Peter preached to them from the Scriptures. He used the Word of God to explain the times, to connect with the audience’s history, and to convict them of their sin. He knew the Word. He knew where in the Word to go to get the sermon currently needed, and he knew how to apply the Word for maximum benefit.

It’s hard to be a witness of His Word, unless you have it hidden in your heart. It’s not enough to tell someone that you do this and that because your church preaches it; you have to know the Word for yourself. Your heart has to burn with a love for His Word so that others can be touched by the intensity of that flame and desire to know Him for themselves.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
    1 Peter 3:15 KJV

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
    2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

  25. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

We must spread the word that Jesus is doing miracles among us. It’s not by our power or might, but by his Spirit. Give Him the glory!

  26. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

People saw him walking and praising!
What does everyone see you do?
Are you walking the walk and talking the talk?

Don’t be confused someone is always watching the choices you make.

  27. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

  28. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

As we prayer and intercede for our 10 to Win for Pentecost Sunday, let’s pray for a expectancy to be in their hearts. If the Spirit of God draws them, and the atmosphere is filled with praise, faith and HIs Glory and they have anticipation and expectancy that something is going to happen to them, God can move in their hearts, and they can be converted.

    James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

This is a beautiful picture of Kingdom Advancement and Rejoicing.

The apostles chose to lift up the hurting man, the hurting man once healed chose to lift up JESUS. Initiating a powerful principal and concept of The Kingdom of GOD and its posture. We are wise to approach each day with the opportunity for either lifting up others in their needs (Evangelism) or lifting up JESUS for HIS deeds (Praise).

Lets GO lift our community today, inviting the lost to experience Pentecost this Sunday at 10 am and 6 pm at The POFW.

    DADDY ALWAYS GETS THE GLORY!!!

  31. 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

    2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

The apostles and the first believers attended the temple worship at the hours of prayer. Peter and John seem to have been led by a Divine direction, to work a miracle on a man above forty years old, who had been a cripple from his birth. Peter, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, bade him rise up and walk. Thus, if we would attempt to good purpose the healing of men’s souls, we must go forth in the name and power of Jesus Christ, calling on helpless sinners to arise and walk in the way of holiness, by faith in Him. How sweet the thought to our souls, that in respect to all the crippled faculties of our fallen nature, the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth can make us whole! With what holy joy and rapture shall we tread the holy courts, when God the Spirit causes us to enter therein by his strength!

  32. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

  33. Acts 3:1
One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.

One thing I noticed was that it wasn’t on there way from prayer but to prayer that this happen. Why is this important to notice? It was what their daily devotion and walk with Jesus that had finally produced in the disciples, they didn’t have to go to a prayer meeting to feel prepared and all that we tend to feel a need to do. They knew they had the authority and power of the HG, and just reached out and tapped into it.

I believe that is when we will start seeing miracles signs and wonders manifest at the hands of the believers, when they realize that it’s already in them, they just have to reach out on faith and tap into it.

  34. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Only God alone can and does what man resolves as being impossible.
Therefore, only God alone deserves all of the praise, honor and glory forever and ever!!!!

  35. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

See he gives us so many miracles gifts signs an wonder and a second chance when we have done wrong but we don’t praise him enough for what he has done but we should give him more than praise

  36. Josiah: 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
A little bit of faith can go a long ways. It was because of this persons faith that God made them strong. People spend so much effort in things of this world and yet, with a little bit of faith God could do so much more then they could even imagine. So, let us GO HAVE FAITH that God will work it out! THANK YOU JESUS!

  37. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.

It’s kinda cool to see how God used a man that many people knew. They had known that he was lame from his youth. They k we him because every time they went to the temple they saw him asking for alms. It was him that God used as a catalyst to stir them up and wonder at what/who would be able to heal this man. Yet there had to someone willing to reach out to the man, someone like Peter or John. How many more miracles are out there waiting to be a catalyst for many people to seek after God? I need to always be watching and praying and seeking after God so that way I can learn to recognize when there is a need in someone that I meet. So that way I know what to say or what to do so God can make a difference in their lives and in those around them. Praise the Lord for He is great! Praise the Lord!!

  38. As they approached the Temple, a man lame from birth was being carried in. Each day he was put beside the Temple gate, the one called the Beautiful Gate, so he could beg from the people going into the Temple. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”
Acts of the Apostles 3:2‭, ‬6 NLT
    https://bible.com/bible/116/act.3.2-6.NLT

No matter what the problem is or how sick you might be or even what situation you might be going through. The best thing to do is go to church. It is in church where you can receive your deliverance. It is in church where you can receive your healing and your miracle. It is in church where chains are broken and you get set free. We have a higher possibility to receive all of these in the kings house than staying home.

  39. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

I wonder if they looked wealthy or if he was just desperate for anything. Sometimes we don’t call on just anybody until there is nobody. I believe Peter and John may have not even looked like they had anything to give but the lame man was in need of anything and it just so happened he asked the right people. The right people with enough Faith. There’s so many people out there calling out for help but we just need to tune our ears in to hear those voices cry out. Be aware let’s Go in Jesus name!

  40. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

There is a lot of people and need in this town, we might not have or be able to help them in their needs, but we can help them by praying for them right at the moment they ask for help. We can also encourage them to sick God. Sometimes people are in need of just someone to just pray for them. We can do what Peter did. We can give them Jesus.

  41. “And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.”

There are many people that will hear you because if their expectation of what they can get. Yet what we have to fret is greater than what we can physically give them. We must daily be prepared and find ourselves to give account of what God is doing ,.

  42. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

As Christians and followers of this apostolic doctrine, we should never lose that name from Our vocabulary. There is power in the name of Jesus. We are people of the Name.

  43. “Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:6-7‬ ‭KJV

We are to give hope to those who are lost in the world. Let God use you.

  44. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

Such as I HAVE…….GIVE I. I cannot give what I do not have. If I have enough of God’s Spirit and Word stored up, I can and should freely give. It’s the have/give principle. We want to ask Jesus for 3 loaves worth of bread so we have enough to give to those that are hungry!

  45. “And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Not only did they have to have the faith to pray I. Jesus name, but they also had to act. They had to demonstrate the faith that he would be healed. They took him up by the right hand. We too must have he faith to act and not just pray and walk away. We must demonstrate our faith by taking a right hand and raising those we pray for.

  46. But Peter said, “I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!”(Acts of the Apostles 3:6 NLT )

Sometimes when we see a homeless man on the side of the road asking for money the first thing that pops in my head is that I awant to give that man money. I want to help him because he deserves to be joyful just like me. We live in a time were cards hold access to our money and not always available when we see someone in need. In this case the man here needs more than money because money is temporary and he really needed a miracle from God. He begs for money because he’s not allowed to work but if he was healthy and physically able he would. Peter saw his need and the Holy Ghost within him can do just that. When we offer people accept what God wants to give them the miraculous takes place.
