Zephaniah 3

Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God.

Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.

Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.

I said, Surely thou wilt fear me, thou wilt receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.

Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.

11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.

13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.

17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.

19 Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.

  1. 17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

No matter what the enemy has planned, Jesus can flip the script, and make it good. There is a verse that says “All things work together…”

  2. I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord .
    Zephaniah 3:18‭-‬20 KJV

Since judgment was soon to be upon the people, the Lord ends the prophecy with a strong promise of a complete turnabout for the godly remnant instead of the reproach and sorrow of missing the appointed assembly, the exiles will be granted praise and fame in every land where they were put to shame.

  3. Verses 14-15 MSG “So sing, Daughter Zion! Raise the rafters, Israel! Daughter Jerusalem, be happy! celebrate! God has reversed his judgments against you and sent your enemies off chasing their tails. From now on, God is Israel’s king, in charge at the center. There’s nothing to fear from evil ever again!” As the song says:

Jesus at the center of it all
Jesus at the center of it all
    From beginning to the end
It will always be, it’s always been You
    Jesus, Jesus

    Nothing else matters
Nothing in this world will do
    ‘Cause Jesus You’re the center
    Everything revolves around You
    Jesus You
At the center of it all
At the center of it all

Jesus be the center of my life
Jesus be the center of my life
    From beginning to the end
It will always be, it’s always been You
    Jesus, Jesus

From my heart to the Heavens
    Jesus be the center
    It’s all about You
    Yes it’s all about You

    Jesus be…

  4. 17 The Lord your God in your midst, the mighty One, will save, He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

  5. 12 I will also leave in the midst of thee an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the Lord.

Some people believe that the Lord is just waiting to pour out his wrath but scripture it’s always pointed in the exact opposite. God is just waiting on repentance of his people, so He can bless them. All God is ever wanted is for His people to serve him with a pure heart and a beautiful mind with all of their strength. With blessings and store oh, God is just waiting to touch his people.

  6. 17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
The Lord is mighty to save he’s the only name that can saved GOD bring back peace and love we do have to fear because he is always with us we will shout and sing his praise
JESUS is coming soon he will wipe away every tear and take away every pain there will be no more sorrow

  7. Sing, O Daughter of Zion; Shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! for the Lord will remove his hand of judgement and will disperse the armies of your enemy. And the Lord himself, the king of Israel, will leave among you! At last your troubles will be over, and you will never again fear disaster. On that day the announcement to Jerusalem will be, “cheer up, Zion! Don’t be afraid! For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take the light in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs”.

    Zephanniah 3:14 -17 NLT

These scriptures have a deeper meaning for me.
In 2012 what’s a year of test and tribulation. I was on a deep suicide depression, thinking that there was no way out. When I couldn’t bear no more weight, I cried out to the Lord (Jesus) and his Spirit directed me to a place, a fast food place in North Richland Hills. There was a blind lady receiving a Bible study and she was reading out of this scriptures loud and clear. I started crying and went to them and told them that those scriptures were for me. The Lord brought me to that place to show me and tell me Do not be afraid I got you. Hallelujah he is faithfu.

  8. 11. On that day you will no longer need to be ashamed, for you will no longer be rebels against me. I will remove all proud and arrogant people from among you. There will be no more haughtiness on my holy mountain.

    12. Those who are left will be the lowly and humble, for it is they who trust in the name of the LORD. NLT

    Psalm 37:11 KJV
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

    Matthew 5:5 KJV
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

  9. Zephaniah 3:17 (English Amp) The Lord your God is in the mist of you, a Mighty One a Savior ,who saves! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest in silent satisfaction and in his love he will be silent and make no mention [ of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. All things work together that love the Lord. I will rejoice and praise him were ever I am. Sing into the Lord a new song , Sing into the Lord all the earth.

  10. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you. I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame. At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes,” says the Lord .
    Zephaniah 3:17‭, ‬19‭-‬20 NIV

Even in the depths of judgement God STILL gives hope to His beloved children. He promises not only to punish them greatly for what they’ve done, but HE alone will raise them up. He alone will bring them out of a place of despair and loss and bring them home where they belong. Their shame will be replaced with praise and honor.
God never leaves on a negative, really. He is a God of promise and salvation in everything He does, it seems. He is such a good God. So wonderful. We don’t deserve such deep love that is so unconditional…yet He loves us anyway. My LORD, I bless Your Holy Name. Jesus Name.

  11. 14 jSing aloud, O daughter of Zion;
    shout, O Israel!
Rejoice and exult with all your heart,
    O daughter of Jerusalem!
    15 The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
    kThe King of Israel, lthe Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil.
16 zOn that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
    “Fear not, O Zion;
mlet not your hands grow weak.
    Zephaniah 3
17 lThe Lord your God is in your midst,
    na mighty one who will save;
    ohe will rejoice over you with gladness;
    he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
18 I will gather those of you who mourn pfor the festival,
so that you will no longer suffer reproach

Restoration and joy will be brought in the name of Jesus. He is life, laughter and peace, There is joy in the camp a sinner has come home . Oh what wonderful singing and praises as God restores life to those who had once gone astray. Oh what beautiful promises He has .

  12. 8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

A pure language!!! What is more pure than the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues!!!! That day will come very soon that it’s why WE MUST be about our Father’s business. We must be yelling it to the 4 winds. Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Be part of His Kingdom, announcing His return!!! His Kingdom come, His will be done!!!! He is Mighty!!!!!

  13. Josiah: 2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God.
We are not perfect which means we will do wrong and will need correction. If we can not be corrected, how can we be saved? It is important to learn from our mistakes and have a relationship with God that is growing. So, let us GO DRAW NEAR TO GOD IN JESUS NAME!

  14. 5 The Lord within her is righteous, he does no wrong. Morning by morning he dispenses his justice, and every new day he does not fail, yet the unrighteous no no shame.

  15. 17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

God takes pride and joy in His children just as any parent would, when we fall, He sees thst we are given a hand to be raised up. When we repent, He rejoiced and gladly restores relationship with us. Nothing could ever stop the love of Jesus!

  16. In verse 18 it states, I will gather the sorrowful. This tells me that the wrath of God can be diverted, if we just repent.

    “Principles of Sure Failure”
Zephaniah 3:2 (KJV)  She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

The following found in verse #1 are the principles of true failure.
    *Obeyed not
    *Received not correction
    *Trusted not God
    *Drew not near to God

Wow, this is a recipe custom made for disaster. And the fact of the matter is, in the next couple of verses the Word goes on to describe is being described.
    *Princes
    *Priests
    *Prophets

The thing about it is the following:
There are folks out there today boldly declaring that they are prophets and priests. In fact, a couple weeks ago someone told me, “I’m a Prophet”… OK, so your point is what? Just because folks are priests and prophets doesn’t mean ANYTHING. The question is:
    *Are you Obedient
    *Do you receive Correction
    *Do you trust God
*Are you drawing near to God

  18. “The Lord your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
    ZEPHANIAH 3:17 AMP
I am thankful for a God who wars over us. Like the old Phillips, Craig and Dean song says, ” He won’t give up easy, He’s not the quitting kind.”. He also rejoices over us- one definition of the word is to leap or spring and some have said it means that God dances over us with extreme joy. This is truly amazing to me to know that our worship and lives can bring such joy to our God! May God rejoice over us today in Jesus name!

  19. Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over the with singing.

Jeremiah 32:41 Yea, will Rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

    Thank you Jesus!

  20. Zephaniah 3:17-18

  21. 8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

God sees everything. We don’t have to put ourselves in the judgment seat, that is his job. The scripture says to wait on him, he will return to do his judgment. He will also give us that pure language, the Holy Ghost. We will all speak with one consent. We will be united in his Spirit. We that have the Goly Ghost have to be patient with those that are either seeking or those that down even know that they need it. God will reveal to them when it is time. We just need to be at our post ready to assist God whe he pulls the trigger.

  22. 8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

Wait upon him, continue to serve him until he decides it is time to judge. Then he will turn back to his people who have served him faithfully. We must continue forward and endure until the end for we are storing up treasure for a place that is beyond this world. A place where we will forever be with our God.

  23. that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

  24. “Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout aloud, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! For the Lord will remove his hand of judgment and will disperse the armies of your enemy. And the Lord himself, the King of Israel, will live among you! At last your troubles will be over, and you will never again fear disaster.”
    ‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3:14-15‬ ‭NLT‬‬
Rejoice Jerusalem. Rejoice. The mercies of God is here. He will keep the enimies at bay. Nobody can defeat us. Nobody can over take us. The hand of God is strong. His judgment is pure. Rejoice Zion. Rejoice.

  25. 14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

15 The Lord hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

  26. Zephaniah 3:14-15
    14) Sing, O daughter of Zion; Shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
    15) The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.

WOW! What a Mighty GOD we serve!
He has taken away our judgment; He has cast out our enemy; and He is in our midst.

Thank You Jesus! JESUS today YOU will SAVE me!
JESUS today I will Sing, I will Shout, I will be Glad and Rejoice in YOU with All my heart!!

  27. 20 At that time I will gather you;
at that time I will bring you home.
I will give you honor and praise
among all the peoples of the earth
    when I restore your fortunes[e]
    before your very eyes,”
    says the Lord.

Some get confused and say they are blessed of GOD because they have riches or fortunes, not so.
But in reality everyone that has a relationship with JESUS , has riches and treasures already!!! It’s by their fruits……not by their bank account……

  28. 14 Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

Let the joy be inward, let it be great. With all your heart! Those that love God with all their heart have the opportunity to rejoice in Him with their WHOLE heart! It was promised in Zeph. 3:13 that their sins should be mortified and their fears silenced.

What do you when you receive exactly what you have wanted? REJOICE!

  29. 3:16 in that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, let not thine hand be slack.

  30. For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
    Zephaniah 3:17 NLT

It has always been the desire of God to live among His people in communion, love, joy, and gladness. He walked and talked with Adam every day, and it was His delight. He created all of Earth, the beauty and the majesty, but it was not perfect until He placed man in it to fellowship with. The heart of man at one with Him is music to His ears.

However, man has always had a difficult time being content. God craved fellowship, but man craved pleasure and power. In his discontented search for more, man cut off the only One who could be his All. Our sins separated us from our holy God, and He could no longer dwell among us.

Dauntlessly He’s tried. In gardens, tents, and temples, all throughout man’s history, He has tried time and again to be the heart-center of discontented men, but we would not. We continuously traded His fellowship for wealth, fame, applause, lusts, and many other idols.

Then He put on flesh and tabernacled among us. He knew it wouldn’t last. He knew He would be rejected again. He knew we would crucify Him in our all-consuming thirst for more, but He had a plan that He hoped would finally satisfy the heart of man without dishonoring the Holiness of God:
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may ABIDE WITH YOU FOR EVER; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and SHALL BE IN YOU,” (John 14:16‭-‬17).

Is it enough? Will we be content knowing the Holy God of all creation has made a way to dwell IN us? Will we now rejoice over Him with singing? Will we lay down our earthly lusts and share the communion with Him that He has always longed for? He can get no closer; He can do no more. Will we seek Him, love Him, serve Him? The only way to mutual satisfaction is for us to be content in Him. It’s our move, what will we seek today?

“But godliness with contentment is great gain….For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
    1 Timothy 6:6‭, ‬10‭-‬11

  31. 20 At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord.

The God of Restoration – When we come to God broken, battered and bruised, He takes the broken pieces of our lives, molds us into a new clump of clay and places us back on the potters wheel to make us new, honing us, forming us into the image that He desires us to be.

Yet in our ways, we get ourselves in situations that cause us to be marred, dinged up, chipped from the sin we partake of, or the garbage that we allow to pass through us. Or perhaps we pick up “weights” of life that we weren’t meant to carry and they cause our vessel to become weakened. God warns us time and time again to let them go, get back to where we need to be, give up those things that are hindering us, just like he did in the old testament, time and time again warning Israel to turn back to Him, but they would not and many times neither do we.

However, for those that heed the call, we will find the God of restoration ready and willing to restore. When the prodigal returned home, he was given the best …. the robe, the ring, the fatted calf …. when we follow the leading of the Lord to go to the next level, leaving behind our desires for carnal things (jobs, money, prestige) God will bless us with eternal things that are far going to out weigh what the things of this world will bring us.

I surrender today God, I want to gracefully be broken at my own choosing pouring myself out to the Lord, rather than Him to have to break me because of disobedience, pride, or self will and self righteous.

    Gracefully Broken
[Verse 1] Take all I have in these hands
And multiply, God, all that I am, And find my heart on the altar again
Set me on fire, set me on fire, Take all I have in these hands
And multiply, God, all that I am, And find my heart on the altar again
Set me on fire, set me on fire

    [Chorus]
Here I am, God Arms wide open
Pouring out my life Gracefully broken

[Verse 2] My heart stands in awe of Your name
Your mighty love stands strong to the end, You will fulfill Your purpose in me
You won’t forsake me, You will be with me

    [Chorus]
Here I am, God Arms wide open
Pouring out my life, Gracefully broken

[Bridge 1] All to Jesus now, All to Jesus now
I’m holding nothing back, Holding nothing back
    I surrender (I surrender)

  32. Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city! She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord ; she drew not near to her God.
    Zephaniah 3:1‭-‬2 KJV

    NO EXCUSES in that day!!!
But i didn’t know….. the only time you will NOT be able to say, as the saying goes ‘you play with fire’ you will get burned!!
Yes we know that GOD in His mercy is not wanting any to perish but all come to repentance.’

  33. THY KINGDOM COME
    PATIENCE

8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

A Kingdom concept is PATIENCE. PATIENCE is imperative to a lifestyle of serving. When we serve we literally “WAIT” on other people.

    PATIENCE –
1 : bearing pains or trials calmly or without complaint
2 : manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain
3 : not hasty or impetuous
4 : steadfast despite opposition, difficulty, or adversity
5 : able or willing to bear

    The scripture says of PATIENCE

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Luke 21:19 By your steadfastness and patient endurance you ashall win the btrue life of your souls. AMP

JESUS has HIS Plan and WILL and we are called to deliver, perform and execute HIS plan here on earth.

Thy Kingdom Come. Thy WILL be done in earth as it is in Heaven.

    NEXT LEVEL requires PATIENCE.

We cannot afford to get ahead of JESUS and HIS will. HE will be Merciful, Gracious and Just. Seek FIRST The Kingdom of GOD.

  34. 3 Its leaders are like roaring lions hunting for their victims.

Leaders are always looking for people just like them. They know, people will follow their ways without question. I’m glad Pastor is looking for people just like him. Someone committed and having the passion to serving the Lord. We need more like who are willing to serve and move to the next level.

  35. “For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.”
    ‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I wonder if that pure language is speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance. There is nothing more pure than that when it comes to our unruly member.

  36. The person described as she was someone that had separated them self from god and was in the world that’s why we need to introduce the Bible and god to the people the are lost in our city. The people in our city will do the same thing if we don’t help them. My dad said that he used to think being a Christian meant that you did cuss or do something bad but he said if we don’t invite people to church how are we Christ like? This is why we need outreach .

  37. 8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the Lord, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

  38. 17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

God is with us, we’re never alone. His presence will give us love and joy.

  39. 1Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!
2 She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God.
3 Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow.
4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
5 The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.

Are we like her? Do we allow things to come in to our lives that are hindering our walk with God? We are half way done with this year. What is something that you can change to get closer to God. Stay strong and know that he is God

  40. 9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.

Oh if we just come together In one accord and one mind the things we could accomplish for the Kingdom of God!

  41. The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
    Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV

HE really is for us and not against us. We may think we read about all this judgement, but he us against sin. Yet he loves His people to death. He wants the best for us and all he asks is that we obey his commandments and love him.

  42. “But the Lord is still there in the city, and he does no wrong. Day by day he hands down justice, and he does not fail. But the wicked know no shame.”
    ‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  44. 17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
