Zechariah 7

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the Lord,

And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the Lordof hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

Then came the word of the Lord of hosts unto me, saying,

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

And the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah, saying,

Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.

13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

14 But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

  1. The Lord of Heaven’s Armies sent me this message in reply: “Say to all your people and your priests, ‘During these seventy years of exile, when you fasted and mourned in the summer and in early autumn, was it really for me that you were fasting? And even now in your holy festivals, aren’t you eating and drinking just to please yourselves?
    Zechariah 7:4‭-‬6 NLT

How sad it is that we can become good at worshipping God to please our own flesh. We even sometimes deceive ourselves into believing we are working for or worshipping God, when we are still merely seeking the applause or reward of men.

We want pats on the back, and kudos, and compliments for things that were supposed to be done out of devotion. We preach because we think we know what men need to hear, we get offended if we are not asked to sing, and we vie for offices and positions within the church and organization. All the while, God stands back and seeks for the one who has no other motive than love.

The true servant of God seeks love–love of God and love of others. He ministers only from a motive of love. He witnesses because he loves souls. He gives because he loves the work and Word of God. He dances, fasts, prays, and worships (not because it makes him feel good or look spiritual) because he can’t help but show his love to God.

We can fool a lot of people with our piety, but God always knows the motive of the heart. These emissaries were sent from Bethel to the new temple to ask if they should continue their 70 year annual tradition of fasting and mourning over the destroyed temple. However, God saw right through them. If they had been fasting for Him, they would not have been looking for admiration and an excuse to quit. Moreover, God said that they had even turned their covenant sacrifices into festivals of eating and drinking just for the pleasing of the flesh, rather than the celebration of communion with God that they were meant to represent.

We must ask ourselves why we are doing what we are doing. Is it for God, or for Pastor’s approval? Is it to make us feel good? Is it to earn favor? Is it to build ourselves a name and a kingdom? The enemy doesn’t care how much we serve as long as we are doing it for selfish motives. As Pastor has been saying, “We’ve got to get over ourselves!”

One sure test to tell if we are succeeding at that goal is to monitor how often and over what we get offended. Anytime contention and offense rise up within us, we know that we have uncrucified flesh and we need to turn our hearts and our motives back to God. For, only that which is done in love will last when the fire of God tries all our works.

Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
    1 Corinthians 3:13 KJV

  2. “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other.
    Zechariah 7:9‭-‬10 NLT

He ensures that orphans and widows receive justice. He shows love to the foreigners living among you and gives them food and clothing.
    Deuteronomy 10:18 NLT

Be good to each other, no matter who we are. Take care of each other. We are all brothers and sisters. Simple rules from the kinder classroom. Share, play nice, hugs help when we’re hurting. Don’t be mean. Simple. Love each other. We always try to over complicate things. God knows what He’s saying when He tells us these things. We don’t need to add our issues in”but he did this and she did this so I can’t fulfill your command,Lord.” God’s love is unconditional and so are His commandments and statutes. Let’s be good to each other and love each other. Lord, lead me to someone in need today, so I may represent You and be a blessing. In Jesus name. Amen.

  3. 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Israel problem was not obedience and it wasn’t any external problem but it was a heart issue. The Bible tells us in Proverbs that I have a heart flow the issues of life. Israel lost their love for God many times which caused her heart to stray and to lean towards ungodly things. We must never fall away from our first love, the savior of our hearts, staying in love with Jesus will protect us from many heartaches and issues that would generally beset us

  4. Verses 8-10 NLT “Then this message came to Zechariah from the Lord: “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other.”

Mark 12:30-31 NLT “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’[a] The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] No other commandment is greater than these.” Same verses MSG “Jesus said, “The first in importance is, ‘Listen, Israel: The Lord your God is one; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.’ And here is the second: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ There is no other commandment that ranks with these.” Let God’s love shine through you.

  5. 12 Yes they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the Lord of host had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the Lord of host. Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen, says the Lord of host.

  6. 13. Eternal One: When I called out, they chose not to hear Me, so when they called out, I returned the favor and decided not to hear them. Voice

    Revelation 3:
    20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

    22. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. KJV

    When the baby cried
We closed our ears to wisdom
    When the Word was preached
We closed our minds to love
    And when the hammer rang
We closed our hearts to Jesus
Now will you listen, listen, listen

Open up your ears, open your heart
Open up your mind and open up your soul
    Open up your heart, yeah,
Open up your heart and listen

  7. “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other.
    Zaphaniah 7:9,10 NLT

As I read this chapter I noticed that God commanded us to not oppress the Foreigner ,Widow, orphan, and the poor. And yet often those are use for the political gain. But we the church cannot afford to do the same.

  8. 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

God is a merciful God and expects us to extend mercy just as He does (Luke 6:36). The key is though is acting in obedience and love. This chapter recognizes selfishness and stubbornness – both go against obedience and love. I can be obedient and show mercy, but what good is anything I do if I don’t act in love towards my brothers and sisters? (1 Corinthians 13:1-3). What good is it to extend mercy but to scoff as you turn your shoulder? The act of obedience is good, but God sees the intents of the heart.

A revival is coming and we need to be ready to act in both obedience and love towards all of God’s people. There is room in the house of God for everybody!! -Bishop Cornwell

  9. Zechariah 7:9-12 (the Voice)
    9) Here is what the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies, has to say: “Dispense true justice, have mercy on others, and show all compassion.
    10) Do not take advantage of those who have lost a spouse or a parent, or those who are outsiders or poor. Don’t purpose to do evil toward your fellow Israelites.”
    11) Some refused to listen. They turned their backs on this message and plugged their ears.
    12) They made their hearts as hard as flint, refusing to listen to the law or the messages the Eternal, Commander of heavenly armies, sent by His Spirit and enacted through earlier prophets, That’s why His great wrath and calamity fell upon His people.

This to me is an attitude of “He’s not going to tell me what to do.”
Question – “Why is it, when people come to church and the Preacher preaches the Word, instead of receiving it as the Word of God speaking to them, they think the Preacher is “Telling them what to do.” (They close their ears and harden their hearts).”
    Answer – “They hate instruction.”
Psalms 50:17 says, “Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.”

  10. 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.

  11. Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

Did you do it for me? God asks His people, what was your true motive? It is too easy for our flesh to get caught up in religious habits and not
connecting with the Lord while we are serving him. We continually need to check our motives to ensure we are doing whatever the service may be for Him and not for selfish reasons.

  12. THY KINGDOM COME
    LISTEN AND OBEY

13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

The Kingdom of GOD is comprised of POEPLE not routines, rituals or recipes. The SPIRIT of the LORD discerned that their fasting was was routine and not commitment or sacrifice. The heartless actions of the people were simply that a task and not a service. This attitude bred in them self righteous feelings of entitlement, which resulted in numb ears and lifeless responses.

We witness in the verse above the sensitivity of JESUS in regards to relationship. JESUS desires us to respond to HIM that HE will respond to us. JESUS made the FIRST statement of LOVE with HIS death on the cross to atone our sins with HIS precious blood.

As we seek FIRST the Kingdom of GOD, let us be passionate and purposeful about our willingness and keeness to LISTEN AND OBEY the VOICE and CRY of the LORD.

  13. Zechariah 7:4-7
4 Then came the word of the Lord of hosts unto me, saying,
5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?
7 Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

  14. 5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

7 Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

Why fast if your not consecrating yourself to God, His word, and prayer? Then you are only on a diet. Once you add God, Prayer, and reading the Bible to your fasting then it’s when it counts. You can keep relying on yourself alone, we are to seek His help at all times and express your gratitude for He is done. Only then can you feel and work on His Purpose in your life. OUR GOD IS AWESOME!!!

  15. Zachariah 7
    Message version
4-6 God-of-the-Angel-Armies gave me this Message for them, for all the people and for the priests: “When you held days of fasting every fifth and seventh month all these seventy years, were you doing it for me? And when you held feasts, was that for me? Hardly. You’re interested in religion, I’m interested in people.

    Message version
Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying, 5 “Say to all the people of the land, and to the priests: ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, did you really fast for Me—for Me? 6 When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat and drink for yourselves? 7 Should you not have obeyed the words which the Lord proclaimed through the former prophets when Jerusalem and the cities around it were inhabited and prosperous, and the [f]South and the Lowland were inhabited?’ ”

    Obedience verses Sacrifice
    22 But Samuel replied:

“Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices
as much as in obeying the Lord?
To obey is better than sacrifice,
and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

To love and to live God takes more than sacrifices we must live in accordance to His commands.
His Word must become our daily life of living. God I repent of any actions that would not glorify You and the Kingdom. In Jesus name.

  16. ““Say to all your people and your priests, ‘During these seventy years of exile, when you fasted and mourned in the summer and in early autumn, was it really for me that you were fasting? And even now in your holy festivals, aren’t you eating and drinking just to please yourselves? Isn’t this the same message the Lord proclaimed through the prophets in years past when Jerusalem and the towns of Judah were bustling with people, and the Negev and the foothills of Judah were well populated?’” Then this message came to Zechariah from the Lord: “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another.”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭7:5-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  17. “Say to all your people and your priests, ‘During these seventy years of exile, when you fasted and mourned in the summer and in early autumn, was it really for me that you were fasting? And even now in your holy festivals, aren’t you eating and drinking just to please yourselves? Isn’t this the same message the Lord proclaimed through the prophets in years past when Jerusalem and the towns of Judah were bustling with people, and the Negev and the foothills of Judah were well populated?’”
    Zechariah 7:5‭-‬7 NLT
How is that we rattle please our flesh we got to do it with our whole heart and with all our souls and all our mind if nothing doing this then you are doing it for the wrong reason

  18. 5Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?
7 Should ye not hear the words which the Lord hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

Why do we do, what we do?

Why do we pray? Why do we fast? Why do we read the Bible? The answer is simple, because we want a relationship with our heavenly Father.

Yet too often Christians just go through the motions of a relationship. What would happen in any relationship if you just we through the motions? It would not last. And as it was stated recently. So often those who have nothing are the ones with close relationship with God, and those who have everything struggle with it. Wow!!!
This is why having a relationship with God, takes work. What are you doing to keep it going.

  19. 2 When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the Lord,
3 And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the Lordof hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

This makes me think of the saying ‘going through the motions’, they praised Him with their lips but their hearts were far from God. We allow the cares of life to cast a shadow on our relationship with God and it should be the other way around: let our relationship with God cast His shadow on the cares of life. Seek him first and all these things (the things we need in this life) shall be added to you. He can make a way for our every day struggles where we may not see a way through when we seek him first.

  20. the word of the Lord of hosts unto me, saying,

5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?
    J. Soliz

  21. 1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

The word of the Lord came to Zechariah even in Chisleu, showing that no mafter where you are at God can still reach and speak to you.

Showing that God knows when a fast is dedicated to him and when it is not. That also fasting is not the only time you dedicate to God. But eating too. For God asked did you not eat and drink for yourselves? May I not eat and drink for myself.

  22. iLove the Kingdom
“Say to all your people and your priests, ‘During these seventy years of exile, when you fasted and mourned in the summer and in early autumn, was it really for me that you were fasting?”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭7:5

Wow, God asks some hard questions. 😂. God uses his prophet and doesn’t hold back. He basically is saying, hey y’all been doing what y’all want to anyway…
We should always ask the question to ourselves, “Why am I doing what I am doing?” Am I just serving to help man or am I striving to serve the Lord?

  23. 13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

HE IS JUST!!! MY GOD IS A GOOD GOD!!!

  24. Zechariah 8:9-10 (English Amp) Thus has the Lord of hosts spoken; Execute true judgement and show mercy and kindness and tender compassion, every man to his brother; [10] And oppress not the widow or fatherless, or imagine or think evil against his brother in your heart. We should show compassion to everyone, No matter what they are or have done in there lives. Don’t be mean or be rebellious toward anyone. Pray , fast, listen, love , help them to reach God. Love your brothers and sisters, Be there when they need you. But put God first and than everything else will fall in place.

  25. Amp – 8 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying, 9 “Thus has the Lord of hosts said, ‘Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion, to each other; 10 and do not oppress or exploit the widow or the fatherless, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise or even imagine evil in your hearts against one another.’ 11 But they refused to listen and pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder [stiffening themselves in resistance] and stopped up their ears. 12 They made their hearts [hard] like flint, so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts. 13 And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts; 14 “but I scattered them with a storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known. Thus the land was desolate after they had gone, so that no one passed through or returned, for they [by their sins] had made the pleasant land desolate and deserted.”

We find here they were admonished to operate with kindness and compassion towards each other, to not devise evil in their hearts against each other, but the refused, they didn’t listen. Because of their reaction to the counsel of the Lord, the Lord turned HIs heart from them and great wrath came to them. We must protect/guard our heart.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

  26. 12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.

13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

We must guard our heats to prevent them from being stone and hardened to the voice of God. We must keep a soft heart and allow God to speak to us and give us direction.

  27. As with a whirlwind, I scattered them among the distant nations, where they lived as strangers. Their land became so desolate that no one even traveled through it. They turned their pleasant land into a desert.”(Zechariah 7:14 NLT)

God was so angry at the people of Bethel because they refuse to listen and be disobedient turn away from the truth and please there flesh. So God punished them by scattering the people of Bethel among different nations so they would live as strangers. God made the land become deserted so that no one could travel through the land.

  28. “The Lord of Heaven’s Armies sent me this message in reply: “Say to all your people and your priests, ‘During these seventy years of exile, when you fasted and mourned in the summer and in early autumn, was it really for me that you were fasting? And even now in your holy festivals, aren’t you eating and drinking just to please yourselves?”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭7:4-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What is the motive behind our worship? What is the motive behind what we are doing in the Kingdom of God? Are we seeking for the applaud of men or to make ourselves feel good? Are we seeking to please God? Worship, fasting, prayer, or anything we do for the Kingdom of God must come from a sincere heart and a desire to please Him.
An attitude of worship without a sincere desire to know and love Him will lead to ruin.

  29. What are we fasting for?

5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

We hear Pastor say it all the time when we fast… if you are not going to pray while tounfast then you are just going hungry. What is the point? Also when you fast what is the purpose? When we fast if it is not into God we are fasting in vain. You cannot fat to get a result, like if you went on a seven day fast to turn a situation around. This doesn’t work. Fasting gives you control over yourself and once you have proven to yourself that you have control over yourself, you can then have authority over other things. Now you have gained power in the spiritual realm because you have put a purpose above your own needs. God is drawn to sacrifice and the word says that no sacrifice goes without reward. Now go is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him. You cannot diligently seek him when your will is still the most important thing. He has to be first before a fast will work. You cannot bribe God with a fast but you can get his attention. What are we fasting for?

    What

  30. As a “Christian ” we are suppose to go to church and read a chapter in the bible. And boom we did our duties . That’s level 1 Christianity. We need to be more involved and have a deeper relationship with God . And do it with a whole heart .

  31. 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Why do we find it to be so difficult to follow these few commands? Maybe, it’s because our pride and selfishness gets in the way?
Many times I have put my own selfish desires above what I knew was right. If we are all truly honest with ourselves, it’s very probable that we all do that from time to time, because being humble and just , just might mean sacrificing our flesh, and our spirit might just not be strong enough to make our flesh submit.

  32. 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

Compassion:to love, love deeply, have mercy, be compassionate, have tender affection, have compassion

We are all brothers and sisters on Christ and we all should show the love of Christ one toward another. Showing compassion is deeper than knowing where someone is coming from or placing yourself in someone else’s shoes but it is showing a deep lilove and mercy for one another. We all have bad days and good days we all have storms that come our way and we all need a little compassion sometimes. Even when we are being a hot mess.

I am not condoning attitude and ways that defy the nature of Christ or the culture of our church but I am saying, when we can we need to show compassion and take things to God He is able to change more than we can.

  33. 5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

  34. 6 And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

We can reach a place of pleasing ourselves and feeding our own desires. What we can consume can also consume us. If we feed ourselves the Word of God then we will bear good fruit for him. If we consume or take in the things of this world then we can become consumed with Babylon.

  35. Meaing: judgment had come upon the people because they had refused to practice justice, righteousness, and mercy.

    In the second message, God explains why judgment cone upon the nation. He had called the people to practice justice,mercy,and compassion. But they refused to heed. Notice the results of their disobedience: divers wrath,unanswered prayer, scattering of the people among….the nations; desolation of the land. In other words the fast about which they were inquiring was a result of there own sinfulness and disobedience;

Ordinances, whatever they may do never take the place of practical righteousness, and still less of faith in the sight of God.

  36. “And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.”
    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭7:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I think this is still something hat God is telling his people today. Have compassion. Show mercy. Help others. Don’t take advantage of people in their situations. If more people would hear this and obey our world would change.

  37. 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

There is something about loving one another that the Lord our God Loves. It may be that he is the very essence of Love for God is love.
We are to love God with all our heart, mind and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. We also must know that love powerful and has the power to make us do.things. In the midst of all God wants our love back to Him. He does not want to be ignored. He will treat you the way you sow seed

  38. 11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

We all have a choice…a choice to hear or ignore, choice to do or not do to, to work or to be lazy, to pull towards God or pull away, to pray or not to pray, to obey or rebel. We all have an option to do what we please or do what pleases God!!! Jesus help this world listen to what you have to say, that when we witness they would listen, that when we testify they would believe, that when they ask they shall have faith. Lord help this wicked world open up their eyes and eyes and see that you are coming soon! Help them see that he’ll and heaven are real!!

Use me Lord to testify in your Name!!!

  39. 13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts:

Does our disobedience muffle our cry? Rebellion is as witchcraft! This is why the wrath of God was turned against willful disobedience, because is was the road path to rebellion.

And when they cried, I would not hear! What is hindering your prayers? Let it not be ourselves!
