Luke 12

In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:

12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

13 And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?

42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

54 And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

58 When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.

59 I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

  1. Jesus gives a list of Do’s and Don’ts to prepare for His coming…

… BEWARE ye OF the leaven of the Pharisees, which is HYPOCRISY.

And I say unto you my friends, BE NOT AFRAID of THEM THAT KILL THE BODY [persecution], and after that have no more that they can do.

And he said unto them, Take heed, and BEWARE OF COVETOUSNESS: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, NEITHER BE YE OF DOUBTFUL MIND.

FEAR NOT, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

BE YE THEREFORE READY also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
    Luke 12:1‭, ‬4‭-‬4‭, ‬15‭, ‬29‭-‬29‭, ‬32‭, ‬40 KJV

    DON’T:
    * Be a HYPOCRITE, saying you’re a Christian but not living like one—doing things in secret that would discredit you and the Kingdom of God
    * Be AFRAID of PERSECUTION—speak boldly, live righteously, and never let fear stop you from being the light God has called you to be
    * Be COVETOUS, don’t love money and possessions more than God—He blesses you to be givers, not hoarders of things that shall pass away. Be willing to give all.
    * DOUBT GOD’S DAILY PROVISION—don’t be so caught up in the needs of today and this life that you forget what God has called you to do–win souls
    * DOUBT GOD’S ETERNAL PROVISION—believe in the Kingdom God has prepared for you— to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

    DO:
    * WATCH
    * WAIT
    * WORK
    * RESPOND TO GOD IMMEDIATELY
    * BE READY AT ALL TIMES

  2. In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

A firm belief of the doctrine of God’s universal providence, and the extent of it, would satisfy us when in peril, and encourage us to trust God in the way of duty. Providence takes notice of the meanest creatures, even of the sparrows, and therefore of the smallest interests of the disciples of Christ. Those who confess Christ now, shall be owned by him in the great day, before the angels of God. To deter us from denying Christ, and deserting his truths and ways, we are here assured that those who deny Christ, though they may thus save life itself, and though they may gain a kingdom by it, will be great losers at last; for Christ will not know them, will not own them, nor show them favour. But let no trembling, penitent backslider doubt of obtaining forgiveness. This is far different from the determined enmity that is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which shall never be forgiven, because it will never be repented of.

  3. Verses 11-12 MSG “When they drag you into their meeting places, or into police courts and before judges, don’t worry about defending yourselves—what you’ll say or how you’ll say it. The right words will be there. The Holy Spirit will give you the right words when the time comes.” The Lord will give you the words to speak, when and if needed.

Verse 21 MSG “That’s what happens when you fill your barn with Self and not with God.” Remember it is not about us; but, it is ALL about Him.

Verses 33-34 MSG “Be generous. Give to the poor. Get yourselves a bank that can’t go bankrupt, a bank in heaven far from bankrobbers, safe from embezzlers, a bank you can bank on. It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.” Where is your treasure?

Verses 54-56 MSG “Then he turned to the crowd: “When you see clouds coming in from the west, you say, ‘Storm’s coming’—and you’re right. And when the wind comes out of the south, you say, ‘This’ll be a hot one’—and you’re right. Frauds! You know how to tell a change in the weather, so don’t tell me you can’t tell a change in the season, the God-season we’re in right now.” You see the season we’re in; do not get caught up in the things of this world; but, keep seeking and be ready.

  4. So as for you, do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink; nor have an anxious and unsettled mind. For all the [pagan] nations of the world greedily seek these things; and your [heavenly] Father [already] knows that you need them. But [strive for and actively] seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
    LUKE 12:29‭-‬31 AMP

When your eyes have seen The hand of the LORD in your life…wow, HALLELUJAH!! You no longer worry, your sleepless nights are gone, stress is removed and you have faith and trust in His word💖 what peace one has!

He His FAITHFUL to His word!

I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous (those in right standing with God) abandoned Or his descendants pleading for bread.
    PSALM 37:25 AMP

  5. 29 And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nation’s of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you..

  6. 25,26,
Which of you by worrying Jesus asked can add one cubit to his stature? This indicates the folly of worrying over things such as the future over which we have no control. No one by worrying can add to his height, or to the lengthy of his life.if that is so,why worry about the future? Rather ,let us use all our strenght and time serving Christ, and leave the future to Him.

    50,
He had a baptism to be baptized with. This refers to His baptism to the point of Calvary. He was under tremendous constraint to go to the cross to accomplish redemption for lost mankind. The shame, suffering ,and death were the father”s will for Him ,and He was anxious to obey.

  7. 27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good to give you the kingdom.

I’m not sure if people really believe this anymore. But from the time I was a child to this very moment I have seen the nighty provision of God. Now I whole heartedly believe in a good days work . But when we begin to replace God’s work with extra labor for our earthly gain then our life has become like everyone else. Falling under the power of this and it’s standard. It goes back to what do I really want to do serve self this world or serve God . His intentions are to have us prosper. His intentions are to provide . Watch what happens when You take no concern or thought of forfeiting working for God in place of extra hours on your secular job . There is so many blessings He ants to bestow upon His people but we never give Him the opportunity for lack of faith. I promise give and it shall be given to you.

I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging for bread.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

  9. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? Thank you lord for the blessings you have gave all of us, and for the Kingdom you have prepared for us, to be by your side

  11. 55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.
56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?

There is no more important time to be watchful for the times than now, we have never been closer to the end of days than now. The time has never been more crucial for us to seek the kingdom of God and reach for people than the days that are coming. The enemy would love to get us distracted on so many other things

  12. Luke 12 :22-23 (English Amp) And [ Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore I tell you, Do not be anxious and troubled [ with cares] about your life, as to what you will [ have to] eat; or about your body, as to what you will [ have to] wear. [ 23] For life is more than food, and the body [ more] than clothes. Observe and consider the ravens; they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feed them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds ! So little faith you have , Seek God kingdom first and all these things shall be added to you. Build yourself on God kingdom instead of the cares of world. God will take care of us. Pray and fast.

  13. St. Luke 12:16-21 & 29-33
    16) And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
    17) And HE thought within HIMSELF, saying, What shall I DO, because I HAVE no room where to bestow MY fruits?
    18) And he said, This WILL I DO: I WILL pull down my barns, and build greater; and there WILL I bestow all MY fruits and MY goods.
    19) And I WILL say to MY soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
    20) But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee; then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
    21) So is HE that layeth up treasure for HIMSELF, and not rich toward God.

    29) And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
    30) For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
    31) But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
    32) Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
    33) Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not where no thief approacheth neither moth corrupteth.

So many people are caught up in SELF and their worldly possessions, that they have no relationship with God.
God wants us to Seek His Kingdom and be givers, trusting in Him to take care of us.

    So the questions is…
Be SELFISH and lay up our treasures for OURSELF, or BE KINGDOM MINDED and lay up treasures in heaven?

  14. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I am so thankful to God for it says ALL THINGS, and not some. I am thankful for I know HE will provide ALL MY NEEDS according to His riches in heaven in Christ Jesus. I am so thankful that I don’t have to worry or be anxious for nothing but in everything with supplication make my request known To God with Thanksgiving and gratefulness in my heart. Yes, He makes it that simple!!!! Thank you Jesus for caring for me!!! In Jesus Name Amen

29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

Notice this verse. it takes the person who seeks what they going to wear, eat, and drink and connects them to the phrase, “neither be ye of a doubtful mind.”

Wow, this verse alone should deliver us from doubt, unbelief, and selfish prayer…

  18. 37. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

    38. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

    39. And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

  19. 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  20. 35 “Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning,
36 as though you were waiting for your master to return from the wedding feast. Then you will be ready to open the door and let him in the moment he arrives and knocks.
37 The servants who are ready and waiting for his return will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, he himself will seat them, put on an apron, and serve them as they sit and eat!
38 He may come in the middle of the night or just before dawn. But whenever he comes, he will reward the servants who are ready. (NLT)

Sometimes we just need a serious perception change. A literal shift and change in our mindset -and over this year it’s been to a kingdom mindset. We’ve always been taught to be ready, but are we really ready at all times, in every season? What about those frustrating times? Those sorrowful times? Sure on the sunny days we’re good but what about those tough seasons. This is where we need to step back and take a new perspective. If I’m enduring what seems to be a tough season, then I must also be in a season of preparation because clearly there is something I either need to be learning or something that I need to be delivered from. In a season like this, keep focused even through temptation. If you stumble or fall, get back up and continue in preparation. God’s got something greater coming and He’s preparing us for it. Just the same, in the very same season, we need to keep working in the harvest and prepare for His Kingdom to come. “I just feel like something good is about to happen. Something good is on way!” The master is coming and as He’s calling, He’s also preparing. So take courage in knowing God’s coming. It won’t be very long ’til we see Him! Be ready!

  21. 34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
    35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

Watching for his return, waiting upon him while we wait and being ready no matter the day or hour is what Jesus says to us while warning to not get so caught up in earning our living that we lose sight of his kingdom. Night time is divided into watches in scripture and here he refers to the hours when most of us are asleep. In the parable of the 10 virgins those who had their lamps full of oil went with the bridegroom when he came even though they all had fallen asleep. Stay full of his Spirit and ready to go with him and able to let go of the things of this world…they are only temporary.

  22. You fools! You know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the present times.
    Luke 12:56 NLT

We live in perilous times, but so many walk around as if it’s normal and nothing’s wrong. They want to complain about what they see on the news, but they’ve been warned about what’s to come. We are told to be ready we are told these things would happen and we are told that we don’t know the day nor the hour just to be prepared.

  23. Luke 12
Speaking to the people, he went on, “take care! Protect yourself against the least bit of greed. Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot. ” Then he told them this story: The farm of a certain Rich man produce a terrific crop. He talked to himself : ‘What can I do? My barn isn’t big enough for this harvest.’ Then he said, ‘Here’s what I’ll do: I’ll tear down my Barns and build bigger ones. Then I’ll gather in all my grain and goods, and I’ll say to myself, Self, you’ve done well! You’ve got it made and can now retire. Take it easy and have the time of your life!

“Just then God showed up and said, ‘Fool! Tonight you die. And your barnfull of goods—who gets it? That’s what happens when you filll your barn with Self and not with God.”

  24. THY KINGDOM COME
    WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Every day we are presented choices in life. As Born Again believers in JESUS we are called to serve in The Kingdom of GOD. When JESUS calls us he gives us opportunities to accomplish missions for HIM. Evangelizing our jobs, neighborhoods, communities, serving in the worship service at our local church, giving to Missions, Teaching a Home Bible Study, Teaching a Sunday School class, singing in the choir, Leading a Ministry, opening the door and such.

These are positions of delegated authority from JESUS himself, so that we function as the body of Christ. We call it the opportunity to serve. Why, JESUS chose us and called us out of darkness into HIS light, not to hide it, but to let HIS Light shine through us.

JESUS reveals here who HE is looking to BLESS. Those who are SERVING in the areas that JESUS gave us to serve in. There is so much to go into here, but I will Teach it soon in a Leadership Meeting.

Thank you to everyone who serves and to everyone that has ever served in The Kingdom of GOD. We are serving JESUS and HIS Kingdom.

As POFW grows in spiritual maturity, the Lord is going to bring us before people that we can’t imagine, and He is going to prepare us with what to say that will covert them to the truth. We cannot become prideful or selfish and turn what God is doing with us to take the glory for what is happening. We must be humble and sensitive to know what to say, so that we don’t speak in out our flesh and ruin what God has orchestrated.

  26. ““When they drag you into their meeting places, or into police courts and before judges, don’t worry about defending yourselves—what you’ll say or how you’ll say it. The right words will be there. The Holy Spirit will give you the right words when the time comes.””
    ‭‭
I have found this to be so true. When presented with a situation,;sometimes, I had my own agenda but God provided His words to meet the need. I admit, that I do not activley look for situations to say “Thus sayeth the Lord” but I have learned He will provide when the time is correct.

  27. When Jesus gives the example of the goodman and the thief, he then charges the apostles to ‘Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.’ The application was very direct and yet ‘Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?’

Peter asks the very same question so many ask even unto this day. They go to church, they hear the preaching, they agree with what is said, and yet then ask whether what was said applies to themselves. They were right there, and yet assumed their position within the body was assured regardless of whether or not they received what was spoken.

Jesus’ response to Peter was very clear. ‘Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.’ He expected his people to be occupied with his labor. They were expected not only to hear and receive what was spoken but to go and apply it in their lives and walk with him. He expected them to be doers and not just hearers only of his word.

We would do well to do the same. When the Word of God is spoken to an assembly, we should always look to what is being spoken unto us. Before worrying about how it applies to someone else or who we can share it with, we should be asking what God desires of us and receive it for ourselves. Let the Word of God accomplish it’s perfect work, whole and entire, and set about to be doing the Master’s business in our lives in Jesus name!

  28. 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

God is the provider of what we are in need of. Yes we work, and yes we give, but it is God who gives us the increase. Thank you Jesus for the growth.

  29. Jesus was answering the people’s questions in a perable. We can not be afraid to go to Jesus for some answers to our lives.

  30. 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what Ye ought to say.
    ———
If our desire is to be trully guided, controlled, governed by God’s Holy Spirit, we do not need to worry when we find ourselves in situations that will demand our voice.
God is and will be our defender forever more if we obey his will.
No worries x we are anointed we are Gods children and I must be full of the Holy Ghost.

  31. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Denial of the one that created all things and nows all things goes beyond verbal denial. Let us understand we can deny Jesus with our actions and those actions speak loudly to those around us.

  32. v32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

JESUS introduced HIS KINGDOM into the world, and He invites all mankind to separate from this worldly kingdom tha shall end in destruction and to join the eternal forces in Victory. As the Church aggressively continues to build God’s Kingdom through soulwinning.

  33. 9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Let the World see your Holy Ghost.
Being Christian is nothing to be ashamed of. We all lose “friends” when we receive the Holy Ghost, but that’s part of it. Pressing through those emotions and sticking strong with Jesus is where the anointing is gonna come from. Just keep on keepin on.

  34. Proverbs 29:25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

Trust in him and don’t fear what the average man fears. When we are constantly stressing, fearing whether somthing is going to work out, its not fixing anything and usually we end up messing whatever it was up cause we were to busy worrying about it. Look at who you serve, look at all he’s done look at all you know he can do. Have faith in him he will keep you safe.

  35. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God has promised through His Word to meet His children’s needs. But there is a condition to meet. It requires action, to seek the kingdom first. Everywhere we find in the gospels that Jesus preached the kingdom unto the people. Messages like the kingdom of God us at hand, and parables that he likened the kingdom to. It is all about the kingdom so it would be wise if we change our perspective about like and look at it from God’s perspective kingdom minded. If you are seeking the kingdom you are gonna find the King. The King will take care of his people it we must be busy about seeking.

  36. 8“I tell you the truth, everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, the Son of Manc will also acknowledge in the presence of God’s angels. 9But anyone who denies me here on earth will be denied before God’s angels.

Its easy to deny God, whether you are righteous or not. Many will deny God in public. Its like they don’t want anyone to know, they are followers of Jesus. You can’t follow Jesus only when no one is looking, but show your support for God at all times.

  37. 4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Fear is a powerful tool, it has the ability to control the mind and rule the person. If the enemy causes fear to grow within a person then he can stop them from living for Jesus.

Whenever we have the Holy Ghost, the indwelling of His Spirit, then we have nothing to fear but God. This is different kind of fear, much more along the lines of respect. When we respect God, and to disrespect him means death both physical and spiritual. That’s why Jesus said not to fear those who can only kill the body, but instead fear God more because he controls where the spirit goes after death. Eternal life will always be greater, and even more so if we make heaven our home.
