Acts 11

And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:

13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

22 Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

  1. But a voice answered from heaven a second time, ‘What God has made clean, you must not call common.’ “Now this happened three times, and then everything was drawn up again into heaven.
    Acts 11:9‭-‬10 HCSB

This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
    2 Corinthians 13:1 KJV

But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
    Matthew 18:16 KJV

The Gentiles being able to be made clean was a new revelation for Peter. Thus, God gave him immutable proof by repeating the vision three times, and telling him to go forth without doubting. God is always consistent to His Word. If He requires man to provide two or three witnesses to establish a word as truth, He will also establish His Word repeatedly.

Thus, we must be careful of those who use one verse of Scripture to build salvation doctrines upon (i.e., Matt. 28:19). If the “revelation” is not repeated and consistent throughout Scripture, it cannot be related to our salvation, and it is most likely a misinterpretation rather than a revelation. We must trust The Word to interpret and confirm The Word and not be deceived by the doctrines of men and of devils.

  2. 17. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

    18. When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Here they are getting a more complete revelation of what was meant by Acts 2:39…
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

  3. Verses 15-18 NLT “As I began to speak,” Peter continued, “the Holy Spirit fell on them, just as he fell on us at the beginning. Then I thought of the Lord’s words when he said, ‘John baptized with[e] water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?” When the others heard this, they stopped objecting and began praising God. They said, “We can see that God has also given the Gentiles the privilege of repenting of their sins and receiving eternal life.” Sometimes, we just need to get out of the way and let God be God.

Verses 22-24 AMP “The news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw the grace of God [that was bestowed on them], he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with an unwavering heart to stay true and devoted to the Lord. For Barnabas was a good man [privately and publicly—his godly character benefited both himself and others] and he was full of the Holy Spirit and full of faith [in Jesus the Messiah, through whom believers have everlasting life]. And a great number of people were brought to the Lord.” Wow, his godly character benefited both himself and others! Lord help us to always be a rejoicing and encouraging building block for someone and NOT a stumbling one.

  4. 24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:
26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

The term Christian wasn’t one that was of self proclamation, but it was considered an accusation caused by the lifestyle they lived. It’s similar to humility, if you have to call yourself or try to convince anyone that you have it, then sometimes that’s a sign that you could be lacking. I’m not suggesting we seek to be accused of things but I am stating that we should be so focused on pleasing God that our actions and lifestyle is so evident that is clear who we serve

  5. And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?” When the others heard this, they stopped objecting and began praising God. They said, “We ca“You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:8-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬n see that God has also given the Gentiles the privilege of repenting of their sins and receiving eternal life.””
    ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭11:17-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It’s amazing that Jesus give us the opportunity to also receive his Spirit and be saved.
It remained me of this scripture

“You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.”
    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1:8-9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  6. 2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

Some Christians are almost afraid of sinners. If we are not with them then how are we going to win them? Jesus said, I’m in the world but I’m not of the world. My son Michael is playing football and when he first began he was getting made fun of because he was different than them. They didn’t understand why he didn’t talk about crude things and curse like them. They didn’t know why he was so obedient. They called him names and laughed at him. I told him, just be yourself and work hard and it will all work out. I showed him this scripture and how that Peter was the one that preached to the Gentiles, dogs, sinners when the Holy Ghost fell on them and the whole world changed. If Peter wasn’t with them and broke bread with them, he would not of had the relationship with them that he needed to win them. The only way to truly win someone is to love life with them. My son Michael now has made a lot of friends but they understand who he is, he is not going to be like them but they still like him. He is now inviting them to church and talking to them about Jesus. You cannot be so afraid of the world that you cannot develop a relationship with it. After all we are called to love them and show them the right way. How can you let your light shine among men if you are never with them.

  7. 11:14 MSG
Send to Joppa and hey Simon the one call Peter, he’ll tell you something that will save your life— in fact, you and everyone you care for.
    ——-
There is another passage that says:
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you
And your household shall be saved.

    ——
In this case, His loves ones ( family and close friends) were
    there with him.
A message, a word, the gospel, the truth…..
This word ( verse)gives me hope for my family
Let’s bro g them!! Let bring them to church, our house, Starbucks, the park, wherever but as long as they get the opportunity to hear the truth.
    ——
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.

    GOD IS GOOD!

  8. Acts 11:22-23 (Amp) The rumors of this came to this came to the ears of the church ( assembly) in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. [23] When he arrived and saw what grace ( favor) God was bestowing upon them, he was full of joy; and he continuously exhorted ( warned, urged, and encourage) them all to cleave unto and remain faithful to and devoted to the Lord with [ resolute and steady] purpose of heart. Lord help us be rejoicing and encouraging towards others , Not to be a stumbling block ! We all need you Jesus.

  9. AMP – 21 And the hand (the power and presence) of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord [for salvation, accepting and drawing near to Jesus as Messiah and Savior]. 22 The news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. 23 When he arrived and saw the grace of God [that was bestowed on them], he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with an unwavering heart to stay true and devoted to the Lord.

Everyone plays an important role in discipling people for Jesus. Intentionally or unintentionally what we say and do effects those around us. We must ensure that we are portraying a positive, encouraging devoted example for people to follow. The old saying “don’t do as I say, do as I do” is still effective in impacting people around us. We can say all we want that we put Jesus first, that we worship Him with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, that we love living for God, however if our actions speak something different, than we must prayerfully align our speech and our actions to say the same and live out our devotion to the Lord.

  10. 6 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

  11. Acts 11
11 1-3 The news traveled fast and in no time the leaders and friends back in Jerusalem heard about it—heard that the non-Jewish “outsiders” were now “in.” When Peter got back to Jerusalem, some of his old associates, concerned about circumcision, called him on the carpet: “What do you think you’re doing rubbing shoulders with that crowd, eating what is prohibited and ruining our good name?”

    Disciples or Christians
    Following or Leading
Peter obeyed what God had commanded. From the beginning Jesus had given a commandment to teach all Nations . Even the disciples questioned the call Jesus had given out. All Nations. All types of people. We “rub shoulders everyday with the world yet never share Jesus with them. Endtime revival is already here upon us we are going to be amazed at who God is going to bring in the last hour. We will either snubbed our noses to them or help them become a part of POFW . . It is time to reach out to everyone . We must be ready. Will we receive them?
Will we help them to feel as if they belong? Or will they come and leave because we have refused to let them get to close for fear they might contaminate or upset our perfect life and schedule. Will they walk a away saying I can’t find a friend. I don’t fit in .God forbid. We must help them we must live as Jesus did.
If we reach if we extend an invitation if we share what God has done they will come.
Finally just a few scriptures down the disciples are now no longer just a disciple but now they are called Christians finally “Christ Like”. Are we disciples a follower of Jesus Christ or a Christian a doer reflecting Jesus wherever to whom ever. The choice is mine.

26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first In Antioch.

Teaching much people! In Jesus name

  12. THY KINGDOM COME
    KINGDOM INCREASE

21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

KINGDOM INCREASE can only be fulfilled by The KING (JESUS our LORD). The hand of the Lord (KING) was with them. The question we must ask is what or whose hand is with us. The evidence will be in the fruit of those turning to the LORD.

This harvest is the result of the obedience of Peter to preach to the Gentiles. Teaching us to obey the instructions of the LORD rather than fear the reactions of man.

We are set in the midst of one of the most fertile harvest fields in the world, we are surrounded by people that do not know their way to JESUS. We must be sensitive to the people around us and obedient to the instructions of the LORD JESUS.

We are approaching a supernatural “FLASHPOINT” that will change our lives forever and a great number will believe and turn to the LORD at The POFW.

Lets GO share the Gospel of JESUS.

  13. And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him Saying thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
    Acts 11: 2,3 KJV

Different perceptions can be Challenging but If we willing to sit down and talk we can accomplish much.

  14. “But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:9, 17-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Salvation through Jesus Christ is for ALL that come to Him in repentance. We are to put no wall or distinction between us, but to love one another and rejoice when one comes to Him and is given a new life!

  15. 23 When he arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord.

See is believing. When there is evidence to see, the easier it is to believe. The Holy Spirit is for all. We must stay encouraged and keep our faith in God. Others will see God in you, and they too will be encouraged to stay true to the Lord.

  16. Acts 11:18, “When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”

Ephesians 3:6, “That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel.”

  17. “And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house: And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You see that he said the Spirit (big S) “bade” him to go. …
Thy word base mean to speak or say, needless to Peter obeyed the Holy Ghost.
He didn’t turn and say no, he didn’t argue, he just went.
Often times in our walk with God we get a word from the Lord but yet it’s not the way we want it to go so we continue to do our thing.
It doesn’t matter how long you invest your time into something if God says no then God means no. It doesn’t matter if you think you’re called to Pastor and God says Go to the missions then you better go. Cause when God says Go God means Go. Doesn’t matter how long you were in that relationship if God says NOW God means NOW.
Be sensitive to the Spirit, pray daily, read daily, and when the Spirit “bade” you to do something you’ll be more alert and know what to do.

  18. 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

The essential viewpoint of our salvation not only to be baptized in the water but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. No matter who the disciples preached to they preached the same message and we today can not water it down, loosen it, or change it to fit our lifestyles. We must keep preaching this plan of salvation no matter how many times people reject it.

I am reminded that we have the same message but to win those of this day we may change the method in which we teach or preach it to them.

The word of the Lord is a solid rock and a stable foundation for us to stand upon.

It’s not time to get weary!

    I love the Kingdom!

  19. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

God granted the Gentiles repentance unto life. I pray we don’t take repentance lightly. Without it, the rest of our salvation is in limbo. We must repent and turn toward God to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

  20. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

I love how the NLT puts it “who was I to stand in God’s way?”. I believe if we truly grasped this concept, we wouldn’t question God. If God has called you to greater things; who are you to stand in His way? If God has called you to a season of unfortunate events, who are you to stand in His way?

Allow your faith to believe and trust God completely, that through it all, you will simply give it back to Jesus and say; who am I Lord to stand in your way. The ultimate; not my will but Thy Will.

  21. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

Who are we to question God?! Sometimes we get thrown for a loop, sometimes we take an unexpected turn, but as long as you know you’re Spirit lead, you have nothing to worry about. As long as you’re obeying the voice of God, staying faithful and walking in the Spirit, you have nothing to fear. Just rejoice in the circumstances and find out how you can give God glory! He knows what He’s doing; who knows maybe like Peter God could be taking you on a little detour to reach a soul and spark a revival!!

  22. Acts 11
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

  23. Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
    Acts 11:25‭-‬26 NIV

A great leader will always look for help to accomplish what Gos has put in His heart.

  24. 20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the Lord Jesus.

21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

When we invite people to church and share our testimonies, God’s hand is with us. He’ll give us the words to say to minister to lost souls.

  25. And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven

The imperfect state of human nature strongly appears, when godly persons are displeased even to hear that the word of God has been received, because their own system has not been attended to. And we are too apt to despair of doing good to those who yet, when tried, prove very teachable. It is the bane and damage of the church, to shut out those from it, and from the benefit of the means of grace, who are not in every thing as we are. Peter stated the whole affair. We should at all times bear with the infirmities of our brethren; and instead of taking offence, or answering with warmth, we should explain our motives, and show the nature of our proceedings. That preaching is certainly right, with which the Holy Ghost is given. While men are very zealous for their own regulations, they should take care that they do not withstand God; and those who love the Lord will glorify him, when made sure that he has given repentance to life to any fellow-sinners. Repentance is God’s gift; not only his free grace accepts it, but his mighty grace works it in us, grace takes away the heart of stone, and gives us a heart of flesh. The sacrifice of God is a broken spirit.

  26. iLove the Kingdom
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

The thing about it is, people from other nations were always allowed to become a Jew even if they were not born a Jew. To become a Jew from another nation was no easy task, but it was possible. You had to vigorously follow the law and the Torah. The reason why these first church leaders were so amazed was that God accepted them without them turning to Judaism. This was a new revelation to the Church and also one of the main reasons the Jewish believer’s would continually cause division in this new church.

  27. 6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

    Didn’t mention fish???hmm

  28. 3. Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

Just because someone is backslid or a sinner does not mean we can not break bread with them. We all work with sinners everyday do we shun them and avoid them cause we are more holier than them; NO God forbid! How do win souls if you do not sit and talk to them. You will be surprised sitting with people and letting them talk and hearing how much they are hurting or how much no one cares for them. We have to be a willing vessel to let God work thru us and be his hands, feet and voice and go where he leads us. Eating with sinners or a backslider does not make us one you have to guide them in the right direction not let them drag you down. Sometimes all we have to do is show ourselves friendly!

  29. I Love to worship tne Lord
    Vs 25-26
Then departed Barnabas to Tarus for to seek Sau
And wben he had foind him be brought him unto Antioch and it came to pass that 1 year they assembled together.with the church and taught much people. And the desiples were called Christians first in Antioch

  30. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

  31. 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
Repentance unto life includes receiving the Holy Ghost which God had to give the Gentiles while Peter was yet preaching!

  32. Acts 11:23 ,24 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose
of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith:and much people was added unto the Lord.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

  33. When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified and praised God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance that leads to eternal life [that is, real life after earthly death].”
    ACTS 11:18 AMP

The amazement to hear that God made a way for everyone to receive eternal life…how incredible. That God can and will forgive ALL sin, doesn’t matter who you are. That same truth is alive today. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

  34. 28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

Love in action… this is why there is a church to minister to others in need. It is the body that ministers to the body. That Christ in is us showed by our actions of love towards one another

  35. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

Who are we to stand against the call of God? When He calls we must listen and obey without doubting. His direction is not just for our sake but for the sake of others. Let us remember to lay aside our own agenda and wants to fill fill the plan of God for our lives and also to lead others into the Kingdom of God!

  36. “Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only. And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Greeks, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord. Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch. Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord. For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭11:19-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

    All because of persecution
The people spread the word widely, Jesus became know. God’s favor was upon them. They preached about Jesus. Many were saved. All because of persecution. Maybe we need to be slower to complain and quicker to observe the works of God when there is persecution.

  37. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

He is unstoppable. Peter was givin a vision, and of unclean animals and the Lord said to eat them and Peter said no I’ve never eaten an unclean animal. He was called to preach to not just to those who had been circumcised but to those who were not. He went into the cities of such and there was a multitude that were uncircumcised filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized. It doesn’t matter who it is where they came from we should all be eager to spread the word even if the person’s are the most unlikely to follow. You never know who’s soul your going to save.
