Romans 2

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

  1. 23
This combination of high talk and low walk caused the Gentiles to blaspheme the name of God. They judged the Lord ,as men always do, by those who professed to be His followers. It was true in Isaiah’s day (Isa.52:5) and it is still true today. Each of us us should ask:

If of Jesus Christ their only view may be what they see of Him in you (Insert your name) what do they see?

  2. Verses 6-7 CEV “God will reward each of us for what we have done. He will give eternal life to everyone who has patiently done what is good in the hope of receiving glory, honor, and life that lasts forever.”

Joshua 24:14-15 KJV “Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

  3. 15 Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them, in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel .

  4. 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Going to church and call yourself a Christian doesn’t save you, Just as much being a good person qualify you as a righteous man. We cannot judge ourselves by our own standard of living, it is only Through The Obedience of God that we can count anything as righteous. Our actions and lifestyle will show the fruit of who we are and not what we claim or who we say we belong to.

  5. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
    Romans 2:28‭-‬29 KJV
The word of GOD is true!

Truly our hearts must be examined. How are you living behind closed doors when you think no one is watching?
We can not expect others to submit to the gospel if we are not. Nothing is hidden from the eyes of the LORD. ‘By their fruits ye shall know them.’ ‘Junk in junk out!’ Help me Lord to fully pick up my cross and follow you.

  6. Romans 2: 16 [Amp] In that day when, as my Gospel proclaims, God by Jesus Christ will judge men in regard to the things which they conceal [ their hidden thoughts]. [ Eccl.12:14] For God shall bring work into judgement, with every secret thing, whether it is good or evil. [ Acts 17: 30] Such former ages of ignorance God, it is true, ignored and allowed to pass unnoticed; But now He charges all people everywhere to repent ( to change their for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins. My God see’s everything that you are doing, Please dont delay any longer repent for your sins and be baptized in Jesus name. My God is here to save this world. My God is the only way to eternal life forever and forever !

  7. 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

We are hearers or doers, we can hear God’s Word or put it into action. I want to be justified, I’d want to put action into what I read and hear preached instead of ideally sit lukewarm and just listen and not do anything. No bench warming for me!

  8. 13 For merely listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight.
14 Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.
15 They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.
16 And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life. (NLT)

It’s one thing to hear The Word, but what you do with The Word after you hear it is a whole other thing. We can hear it but if we just let it “go in one ear and out the other” what good is it? The Word MUST be APPLIED. One day we will be judged, but not for just what we hear, but what you do with those things you hear. We need the Word to filter out the bad and to guide us in the righteous and holy, good things. Hear AND OBEY The Word of God!!

  9. Romans 2

2 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
We must realize that as we the church do our best to live righteously that we do not become judgmental. The Word of God judges . We are to lead people to God through the lifestyle we live not by condemning them. People know their sins at least for the most part today everything is accepted yet people in general know right from wrong . Sharing our faults and failures with humility and encouragement will draw people more than a judgmental attitude. Shall we forget all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We the church can lead with hearts of righteousness .

  10. The world may boldly declare that all things are acceptable, ‘But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?’ We believe the Word of God is still relevant today!

We don’t rely on people, we don’t rely on their personalities or connections, we rely upon the truth revealed in the word of God! It is the final authority for every aspect of our lives. When we receive it’s truths , it not only provides us with good judgment, that same truth will make us free! We can be free from the bondage and effects of sin upon our lives and our families if we just make the choice to submit ourselves to the word of God!

This is why we read the word every day! This is why we pray every day! This is why the word is preached in all of our services together; because the truth shall make us free! Every action, every decision, every doctrine, the very foundation of our walk of faith with Jesus is based upon the truth we read in that collection of books we call the Bible. Let God’s words have the impact he desires in our lives and take the time to read his word!

  11. 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
I am changing the word Jew to Christian in this verse:
29 But he is a CHRISTIAN which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
It reminds me of the prayer the Psalmist prayed, Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord , my strength, and my redeemer.
    Psalms 19:14 KJV
Lord help us to be Christians inwardly and outwardly! And may this fast today be blessed with souls being added to the kingdom!

  12. iLove the Kingdom
1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

Wow, if we all took this to heart and thought about it, we wouldn’t talk so negative about our fellow brother. One thing I have found to be true is, When someone gets furious about what another person does, it almost always points to something that person is guilty of. They see their own character fault in someone else and it makes them very upset…but they are really upset with themselves.

  13. 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
    12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

  14. “Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:4-7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  15. “And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭2:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We can hide from man here on earth, but there is nothing hidden in the eyes of the Lord.

“God would surely have known it, for he knows the secrets of every heart.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭44:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We must daily search our hearts and repent daily.

““The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.””
    ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:9-10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This is why God always remind us to keep our hearts and our minds pure. We might look/act like we are serving the Lord on the outside, but our hearts can be far from God. I know for a fact that is easy for my mind to wonder off on things that are not from God. Even with our thoughts we sin before the Lord.

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.”
    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:12-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  16. No, A true Jew is one whose heart is right with God. And true circumcision is not merely obeying the letter of the law rather, it is a change of heart produced by the Spirit. And a person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, no from people.
    Romans 2 :29 NLT

Western day will be a great Scenario to Exercise and put in to practice this scripture.

  17. 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

I love the church and how plainly stated. God is no respect or of persons. Rich or poor, churched or in churches, saint or sinner alike. The word of God can cover every walk of life. The only rule is that we must come unto him and he will do the changing. We can not be the judge and jury for no man except our own soul. For the word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. Remember church we were called as fishers of men and we are to bid any man, woman or child to come unto repentance in alter, but we can not be the fish monger. That is solely in God’s hands. We have to love people no matter where they come from, what Coker they may be, and we have to love unto the end of this world.

    I love the church!
    I love the Kingdom!
    I love souls!

  18. 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

We must look inward and search our own lives and see if we are true to who we say we are. Our thoughts and actions should line up to God’s word and ways. If they don’t, be quick to repent and work on the problem. We have today to change if we find discrepancies-don’t wait till we are judged by him.

  19. THY KINGDOM COME
    DANGEROUS GROUND

1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

It is often tempting to pass judgement on others for their actions and or attitudes of life. However after considering this passage, we are wise to look deeper into the meaning of judging or deciding someone elses spiritual condition.

The fact that we need Leaders to judge matters or make wise decisions with The Kingdom of GOD in the front of us is imperative.

Exodus 18:19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:
20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

This positions The Kingdom of GOD for the greatest and most effective advancement. However, to judge a matter or another life with sin, prejudice, contentions in our own heart is DANGEROUS GROUND.

The apostle teaches us here that if we condemn or judge someone for doing something or “not doing something” but we are guilty of the same practice, we are condemning ourselves.

For instance, if I condemn someone for not praying, but I do not pray myself, then I condemn myself. Or if I condemn someone for not participating in Bible Reading and Commenting on this POFW Blog then I do not participate, I have condemned myself.

There may be other areas of life and lifestyle that are tempting to judge others. However we should consider the meaning of the word before we partake.

1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

The word “judgest” in verse 1 in the Greek

    Strongs
2919. kri÷nw krinoœ; properly, to distinguish, i.e. decide (mentally or judicially); by implication, to try, condemn, punish: — avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.

    Vines
    κρίνω
    (Strong’s #2919 — Verb — krino — kree’-no )
primarily denotes “to separate, select, choose;” hence, “to determine,” and so “to judge, pronounce judgment.” “The uses of this verb in the NT may be analyzed as follows: (a) to assume the office of a judge, Matthew 7:1 ; John 3:17 ; (b) to undergo process of trial, John 3:18 ; 16:11 ; 18:31 ; James 2:12 ; (c) to give sentence, Acts 15:19 ; 16:4 ; 21:25 ; (d) to condemn, John 12:48 ; Acts 13:27 ; Romans 2:27 ; (e) to execute judgment upon, 2 Thessalonians 2:12 ; Acts 7:7 ; (f) to be involved in a lawsuit, whether as plaintiff, Matthew 5:40 ; 1 Corinthians 6:1 ; or as defendant, Acts 23:6 ; (g) to administer affairs, to govern, Matthew 19:28 ; cp. Judges 3:10 ; (h) to form an opinion, Luke 7:43 ; John 7:24 ; Acts 4:19 ; Romans 14:5 ; (i) to make a resolve, Acts 3:13 ; 20:16 ; 1 Corinthians 2:2 ” * [* From Notes on Thessalonians by Hogg and Vine, p. 267.] See CALL , No. 13, CONCLUDE, CONDEMN, DECREE, DETERMINE, ESTEEM, LAW (go to), ORDAIN, SENTENCE, THINK.

Note: In Acts 21:25 , the RV has “giving judgment” (AV, “concluded”); see JUDGMENT , Note (5).

It appears to me that to judge means to determine someone elses intent. This is very dangerous and in some cases impossible to know without intercessory prayer and Spiritual discernment and revelation.

GOD called us to obedience to HIS Word and GOD called and sent Spiritual Leaders. This should be my main focus and purpose in life.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 ¶ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

  20. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
    Romans 2:26‭-‬29 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.2.26-29.KJV

When I read this it confused me a little bit, but then I began to think back when I was pegan, my heart was uncircumcised. My soul was of the world. Then as I began to grow in faith and learn the truth about God’s word and how he saved us; my heart began to open and my spirit started filling with joy and love. Jesus I thank you for the circumcision of my heart and my soul. I thank you for showing me the truth and guiding me into your light.

  21. 26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

  22. 1: “You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.” NLT

You ever heard “that’s the kettle calling the pot black”? Well, it’s almost biblical.
Too many times we start to believe that as leaders our sins are less evil than those of others, because of the positions and roles we take on. That we have a special “Get out of Free Jail” card, that allows us to manipulate the truth to benefit us.

That is not the case, and actually quite opposite. We as leaders should not only hold ourselves accountable to higher standards, as we have been called to do such but allow the Jesus inside you to BUILD others up when they struggle and fall. Not condemn and punish.

This weekend is the busiest weekend of The POFW, it will be easy to allow frustration to activate “condemnation” and “punishment” from those who you believe should be doing better. However, can we all take a moment and allow the JESUS inside each of us to build each other up, not tear down. In order to maintain unity for the Revival that God wants to pour out, we must BUILD up not TEAR down.

  23. Romans 2:13 (voice)
“Here’s my point: just because a person hears the law read or recited does not mean he is right before the one True God; it is following the law that makes one right, not just hearing it.”

    James 1:22 (voice)
“Put the Word into action. If you think hearing is what matters most, you are going to find you have been deceived.”

  24. 18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

You must live what you profess or your testimony will be of no effect…

  25. 21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

You gotta practice what you preach! We’re the image of God, we represent Him, so let’s not make Him look like a liar. Hypocrisy does not save you, obedience to God’s word does.

  26. 11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

FOR HE IS LORD!!! HE RULES ALL!!! EVERYTHING leads up to the day of salvation, whether it be into the pit or to walk the street of gold!!! No HE IS NO RESPECTOR OF PERSON, but it is up to us to choose one or the other……… if there is life, then there is hope….

  27. But unto them that are contentious, and do not OBEY THE TRUTH, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
    Romans 2:8 KJV

The TRUTH is not something you BELIEVE; it is something you OBEY. Those who do not obey the Gospel, have not truly understood the truth. Those who do believe and understand truth obey righteousness. Thus, our faith is revealed by what we obey.

We Apostolics run the risk of becoming like the Pharisees of old. We rest in our obedience to Acts 2:38 and make our boast in Jesus name baptism, but quite often fail to actually obey the heart of the Gospel. Some do nothing with the truth they have been given, but think themselves better than other Christians just because of the Acts 2:38 experience. They boast of having the truth, but live entirely unto themselves.

Meanwhile, there are those who have not this ‘truth’ but who give their entire lives and fortunes to preaching Jesus and helping their fellow man. “Whether of them twain did the will of his Father?” (See Matt. 21:31 below.) Who has obeyed truth? I’m afraid that the Mother Teresas, the Corrie Ten Booms, and the Jim Elliots of this world will stand in judgment against those of us who claimed truth but did nothing past a few outward holiness standards to live it. It is only those who obey the heart and the Spirit of “The Truth” who actually believe in Him unto salvation.

“But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.”
    Matthew 21:28‭-‬31 KJV

“For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? For he is not a Jew [or an Apostolic], which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew [or an Apostolic], which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
    Romans 2:25‭-‬29 KJV

  28. MSG – 17-24 If you’re brought up Jewish, don’t assume that you can lean back in the arms of your religion and take it easy, feeling smug because you’re an insider to God’s revelation, a connoisseur of the best things of God, informed on the latest doctrines! I have a special word of caution for you who are sure that you have it all together yourselves and, because you know God’s revealed Word inside and out, feel qualified to guide others through their blind alleys and dark nights and confused emotions to God. While you are guiding others, who is going to guide you? I’m quite serious. While preaching “Don’t steal!” are you going to rob people blind? Who would suspect you? The same with adultery. The same with idolatry. You can get by with almost anything if you front it with eloquent talk about God and his law. The line from Scripture, “It’s because of you Jews that the outsiders are down on God,” shows it’s an old problem that isn’t going to go away.

Just because we attend an Apostolic Church doesn’t make us Apostolic. We must apply the Word not only to our lives but it must be seen in our actions also. If we say we love God, but we don’t abide by the Word of God, then our actions speak louder than what our mouth professes. If we truly believe the doctrines and the teachings of His word then our lives will reflect those teachings.

We will be soul winners because His word tells us in Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

We will live holy because HIs word tells us in Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

We will love not the things of the world because His word says in 1 John 2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Our actions will speak louder than our words because His word tells us in 2 Corinthians 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

  29. 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

God sees it all and he will see all of our sacrifice that no one else sees but Jesus. We might be able to fool men but we sure can’t fool God. He knows our intentions and is very dangerous to play with fire. Since I was introduced to the gospel, I knew God but never had a relationship with Him. However, I knew that He was very powerful. If He wanted to I could die right there and then and since then He opened up my eyes and I saw the truth. The truth that has set me free. I didn’t want to be those that see the truth and just ignore it. Jesus is very real and is patient with us. However, He is giving us a time to either do good or do bad. At the end we’re all going to be judged!! Lord Help Me!!

  30. 24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

    Just do IT!

We should not be just hearers of the Word but also Doers. Let us put action with our faith, and see what God does. Let us work for His Kingdom and be Lights to this dark world. Lets not be double talkers, but let it be said of us that we do what we say.

  31. 3. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

    Matthew 7:
    2. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

    3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

    4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

    1 Thessalonians 4:
    9. But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

    11. And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;

  32. “For he is not a [real] Jew who is only one outwardly, nor is [true] circumcision something external and physical. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and [true] circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by [the fulfillment of] the letter [of the Law]. His praise is not from men, but from God.”
    ‭‭ROMANS‬ ‭2:28-29‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Claiming to be an apostolic doesn’t save you anymore than sitting in garage makes you a car.
You cannot just sit in church and it save you. But you have to take what is taught, take the word of God and apply into your heart and then take it outside of those four walls.

All the outward signs of how we live may earn us praise from men, but without our inward actions backing them up, they will not earn us praise from God. The evidence of our walk with God is not contained in outward signs or works, and it is not assured because of the church we attend. The evidence is found in the work of God in our heart which reveals itself in fruit.

  33. “You are sure that you are a guide for the blind and a light for all who are in the dark.”(Romans‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭CEV‬‬)

When I read this scripture it made me think that we must be absolutely 100% positive and confident that we know in our hearts and minds that our God is the vision to those that are blind and lost in this world and those that are all bondage by the decisiveness of the enemy that God is there freedom from this world.

  34. Josiah:11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
The problem is not the hours of the day. The problem with most people is how they spend the hours of the day. How much of a relationship one has with God is up to that one. Certain upbringings may make it easier to serve God but each of us needs to make an effort to get a true relationship with God. So, let us GO GROW CLOSER with God!

  35. 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.

It is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance and it is his love that welcomes us. Thanks be to God that is not bothered by our color of skin and language and how we look. He created everything and everyone for his honor and glory. We must strive not to judge but rather love and have compassion for people and win them over to God.

  36. And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.
    Romans 2:16 NLT

Doesn’t matter what someone may try to hide in their closet or behind closed doors, the Holy Ghost reveals all things. I’m thankful for God to lead me by His Spirit to walk in holiness and a daily repented heart. We all fail from time to time, but it’s so important to keep moving toward the mark.

  37. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”
    Romans 2:6 NIV

Wow! So it does us good to be kind to others, help and serve them with a loving heart. To show them meekness and kindness, cause that is what we will receive. You reap what you sow.

  38. I learned that when you tell someone don’t steal do you steal and when you tell someone do you commit idolatry do you have stuff from pegan temples

  39. I learned that there was the people and there was people that knew Jesus rules and people who didn’t know and the people who did know did not follow it like it said you shall not stell and they stole because they where to full of them self.

  40. 3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

    5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

  41. Romans 2:13

For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

We can not just be church-goers, it takes much more than just warming up seats on Sunday’s. If an earthly relationship cannot be cultivated upon just bare minimum effort and time invested, how do we expect our relationship with the Almighty to be any different.

  42. 21Well then, if you teach others, why don’t you teach yourself? You tell others not to steal, but do you steal? 22You say it is wrong to commit adultery, but do you commit adultery? You condemn idolatry, but do you use items stolen from pagan temples?b 23You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it.

Basically, practice what you say. Your actions speak for themselves. Others will notice if you are righteous or not.

  43. 24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

What a powerful verse. What light are me going to be among men?

  44. The way God spoke to me true this chapter acts 1 is, just like he teach his disiples back in the days is the same for his church know days, we r his diciples in 2019, the teachings of the apostols r the same for us, his holy ghost is the same, he is the same God today
    Generation after generation

The way i interpreted this verses to my life is God wants his church in this 40 days, he wants his church to b lit, on 🔥 because he wants the world to know that he is a live,
God wants them the world to b a witness and his power and miracles, but true who is God gona do that?
True his church, annd when is that gona hapen? When the holy ghost and fire comes upon us his bride,

We need that fire we need his precence, this world need’s his precence, only the power of God is what’s gona change the cruked ways. That this generation is going
