Read Proverbs Chapter 12

Romans 14

Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

  1. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks…But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Romans 14:6‭,15‭, ‬20 KJV

Paul is speaking to those who have an understanding of the law of liberty, that Christ’s death liberated believers from having to keep the Old Testament ordinances regarding such things as clean and unclean foods and specific days of worship and/or fasting. He is telling those who are now enjoying their newfound liberty to subject that liberty to the conscience of their brother. Though you are free to eat, he states, for love’s sake you do not eat if it will cast a stumblingblock before another believer.

For example, if you know a believer who has a genuine conviction that eating meat will offend God because it requires the death of one of His creatures, you don’t judge, berate, or belittle that person’s convictions; you respect and honor them. In their presence, you don’t order the double bacon cheeseburger, because eating it could tempt them to violate their own conscience. Similarly, an ex-gambler may have a conviction against playing games that include dice or cards. You don’t invite him over to play bridge. Just the feel of the cards in his hands could tempt him back to the poker tables. If he is at your house, you put away the deck of cards and do something else.

Love for others means we allow others to have differing extra-Biblical convictions from our own; and in their presence, we live by their convictions and not our own. Our brother’s conscience should have more bearing on our actions and liberties than our own fleshly desires. Once we encourage someone to ignore or violate their conscience in one area, the enemy can use this open door to cause doubt about all their convictions and give them license to disregard all promptings of the conscience—possibly leading to moral failure and destruction.

Thus, walking in love calls us to sacrifice personal desires for the good of others. We should strengthen another’s convictions and never let our actions or attitudes hinder their spiritual life. Their soul is always more important than our temporary and fleshly pleasures. For meat destroy not (don’t overthrow) the work of God in your brother’s life! Souls are too precious for us to so callously offend them by maintaining our right to selfishly do as we please. Prefer one another in the fear of the Lord.

  2. In verse 8 Paul speaks about our lives as deeds focus on serving the Lord. Thusly, when one choses to cast judgement on others our motivation should be to glorify the Lord. It seems to me that Pauls letter to the Romans is saying we should refrain from casting judgment because it does not glorify the Lord and we should also be mindful of how our actions influence believes to backslide.

  3. 12. Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God.

    13. So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.

    18. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too.

    19. So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up. NLT

    1 Corinthians 8:
    9. But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

    11. And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

    12. But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. KJV

  4. Verse 12-13 MSG “Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.” Lord help us to be building blocks for each other and not stumbling ones.

Ephesians 5:1-2 AMP “Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.”

  5. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

As we walk along this path in life, whether we serve God or the world, we all alike will stand before God in judgement. We will give account for every deed, every action, every reaction, and every word spoken or unspoken. We will be determined to step in front of God for him to declare one of two things:
Well done thou good and faithful servant enter in or we will hear depart from me thou worker of iniquity for I know you not.

The opportunity is available to all that believe. The Apostle Paul states in verse 18:

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

As long as we are in harmony with one another and are not being judge mental of everyone else, we will be acceptable to God and approved of men. We must maintain peace and love for one another and maintain the favor of God.

    I love the Kingdom!

  6. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

One of the biggest issues I have seen in the church is other people ( sometimes myself) getting to wrapped up in other people’s business. Others spelling to much time worrying about what another thinks of what they are doing rather than focusing on their own walk. That had been a trick of the devil since almost day one, blaming and casting attention on someone else. It’s our job as children of God to love another more than convicting each other. It’s one thing to pull someone aside and love them with truth over what they are doing, but it is another thing to get so wrapped up in the small things and not let God deal with it. The word tells us let each man work out his own salvation with fear and trembling

  7. Romans14 :11-12 (Amp) For it is written, As I live says the Lord , every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God [ acknowledged Him to His honer and to His praise]. [12] And each of us shall give an account of himself [ give an answer in reference to judgement] to God. We are not to criticize or pass judgement on your brother or sister. Let God take care of it. We all need to work out our on salvation with fear and trembling . [Isa.45:23] I have sworn by Myself, the Word is gone out of My mouth in righteous and shall not return , that into unto Me every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that you are Lord of Lord’s and Kings of Kings. Amem!

  8. The truest believer.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

There are Tims in our lives that are hard to believe but when we get a few months or years past those times, we can look back and see Gods hands guiding and directing us through it. I love when we can raise our hands and say I made it because of God. The question to myself and to my brethren this morning is why can we not see it when we are in the midst of the trial all the time? The answer I believe is that the darkness around us in the world doesn’t want us to see God in action in our daily lives. The only way that darkness can win is if you let it. What we must do is open our eyes and look for the light in every situation. Our faith through the trials is what brings us closer to God. My unbelieving father said that ” A mans character is not questioned when everything is going right, you can judge a mans character when you see him go through a trial or deal with a mistake.” The truest believer does not waiver with doubt under pressure, in trials, or in mistakes. We stand firm on our faith and the word of God. We trust because he gave first. We partake because he is our Father. We eat with the truest of belief that God loves us.

  9. Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. So why do you condemn another believer ? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. For the Scriptures say, “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord , ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God. ’” So let’s stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.
    Romans 14:1‭, ‬4‭-‬4‭, ‬10‭-‬11‭, ‬13 NLT
It’s is not our right to condemn or judge
We never know what’s someone been though, or how they over came it . Their certain things I don’t do anymore because I overcame a certain things and if I go back to that place I feel like I will be tempted. Prayed those who are weak

  10. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

You can not hide anything from God. One day we will be held accountable to God for every aspect of our life.

  11. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

From beginning to the end, IT’S ALWAYS ABOUT JESUS!!! HALELUJAH!!! JESUS help us glorify YOU in ALL we do!!!

  12. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Interesting and powerful verses especially in this day and time. Vegetarians are growing, and these scriptures show us how to act about it. And also anything that does not pretain to salvation, don’t bring a stumbling block.

  13. We sometimes hear the latter portion of this verse spoken by Paul taken in isolation, where he says ‘Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.’ This is of course a solid perspective in our walk with God, but it was not spoken as a license for sin. The context was with respect to the holiday celebrations in their day, which is why the first portion of the verse clarified that ‘One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike.’

Interesting enough, the world today still has it’s holidays, most the population is just ignorant of what they represent. Like many of those in Paul’s day, they do not see any problems, but also like in Paul’s day there are those who choose to abstain from pagan celebrations… it is a matter of personal conviction. This is the context of Paul’s statement when he declares that we need to be fully persuaded in our own minds, because he also reminds us ‘So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.’

The world would like to declare than anything is appropriate as long as their seared conscience does not have a problem with it, but sin is still sin. God doesn’t provide a waiver for sin, regardless of what the world attempts to wrap it in. Our personal convictions may constrain us even beyond what the law requires, but we have not been given the liberty to violate what God declares is sin in the name of personal conviction.

At the same time, personal convictions should not bring about strife among God’s servants. ‘Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.’ We don’t need to focus on our differences, but in those things we can edify one another. We are ever so patient with those newly born into the kingdom, and sometimes that same patience is required for those who just develop at a slower pace. In fact, each of us also develop in different areas ahead of others, so when we see those things that should not be so, perhaps it is time to reflect on those changes God is still working in ourselves. That time of prayerful reflection will lead us to intercede for those we call the family of God… while giving God the opportunity to make the difference himself!

  14. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
    Romans 14:20‭-‬23 KJV
    https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.14.20-23.KJV

Wow, I always said that if it offends someone what I eat then I won’t eat it in front of them, or if I can’t feed everyone with me I won’t eat until I’m by myself, I have to consider how people feel because, I know how I would feel if I was sitting in a place and people were just eating and I’m hungry, or the only thing there is what I dont eat, but my friend is eating, I wouldn’t get mad, but I would be disappointed, Its always a great practice to consider the feelings of another, alot of times we lack that, and we do what we want, because we are grown, and it’s our right! But the last verse #23 says if we eat and not in faith, I’m taking it as to not doing it in faith is saying not considering or offending someoneits son, because anything we do without faith is sin, because faith is beleif!

  15. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

This scripture has many caused me to stop and think, many times, before acting or reacting. Therefore I must keep all my actions purposeful, and my words have to stay above reproach.

As the church we must do the same, because we have a lost world watching our every move…

  16. iLove the Kingdom

The majority of this passage of scripture deals with not judging each other and allowing another person to live out their own personal convictions with out others condemning or judging them for it. What’s wrong for you might not be wrong for me, and what’s wrong for me might not be wrong for you. God is judge and we are his servants.

  17. Understanding that God calls all to His table. There will be different nations born into the Kingdom of God. They will each have some customs that we do not. Even in the church one may believe you shouldn’t celebrate certain days while another believes in celebration of everything as unto God . Whatever we do we are not to judge one another in regards to what we celebrate what we eat . God has brought each of us to feast in his presence. The Kingdom of God will be made up of a potpourri of people. They will look different, eat differently than you are accustomed to and dress differently yet God will have given them the same Holy Ghost. We are so quick to judge. Why? Look what God is doing He only ask that we love one another now is that too difficult. If so I’m the one who needs to have a repenting and a searching of what my motives really are. God forgive me and Baptize me with the Holy Ghost. He invites all to His table . Thank You Jesus for the invitation. He is no respecter of persons. If so , how lost I could have been .

  18. 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

    Where are your priorities?

We see in this verse that righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost are priorities in the Kingdom of God. So where do our priorities lie? Are we more concerned with the things that please the flesh than the things that please God?

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

If we seek FIRST the Kingdom of God, if we make Him our FIRST priority, then everything else will follow.

  19. Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. For instance, one person believes it’s all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables. Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval.
    Romans 14:1‭-‬4 NLT

In our walk with God He will direct us to develop personal convictions against particular activities or things because in our own personal lives they may be a stumbling block, they may be a hindrance to growing in the fullness of Christ. But those personal convictions are just that, personal. And so it is not right for us to push our own personal convictions onto someone else. I am thankful for my personal convictions and for God instructing and guiding me in what I and my children can handle spiritually and what they need to abstain from to not do tear their spiritual growth. I’m very thankful for God speaking to my heart, for His guidance, for His wisdom. Jesus I thank You and I praise Your name You Are Holy You are gracious You are kind and I love You.

  20. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

We must show the Love, and mercy of God to this world. If it’s one person at a time, or hundreds, We must show it. Let’s be the light to this dark world.

  21. THY KINGDOM COME
    THE KINGDOM

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

Humanity argues over the pettiest of opinions. We are all uniquely designed by GOD. However this diversity is not intended to bring division in the church. People find a strong opinion and make a doctrine of it. The apostle addresses this here concerning FOOD. Vegans, no porkers, no veggies, atkins, keto, sugar free, no dairy, or whatever else is out there or will become. is this really a contentious matter. NO.

It has NOTHING to do with The Kingdom of GOD.

Living, righteous, holy lives before GOD and at PEACE with all men, no grudges, resentments, animosity or hatred and be FILLED with the Holy Ghost evidenced by JOY, this is THE KINGDOM in our lives.

Serving GOD in all of these areas is THE KINGDOM. Being divided over diet or other, personal preferences is not Holy, Righteous, Peaceful or Joyful. Let us today lay down our grudges, lay aside our wedges get our hearts right with GOD and man.

Lets Make Some NOISE about JESUS!

    iRepent
    iPraise
    iPray
    iWork
    iGive
    iReap
    iGo
    iBlessYouInTheNameOfTheLordJESUS

    • We find affirmation in the book of Hebrews that Peace and Holiness are the source of eternal JOY.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Man is blinded to GOD by 2 things, Contention and Carnality.

JESUS lead us to repent of both.

  22. There is beauty in diversity! Just like in a Music instruments. Each of those instruments have a unique sound, and when those sounds are in harmony is the most beautiful sound.

  23. 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

This verse holds special meaning for me in that when I was grieving over the death of my mom, I was questioning God about a thing and couldn’t find peace peace or joy. The Lord spoke this verse to me through my pastor at that time letting me know that we don’t find our joy in this world, nor our peace. It’s all in Him.

  24. 1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

Doubtful Disputations is described as matters of opinion. We are all different and many have been raised with different “traditions”. We are being instructed to receive those who are weak in the faith and don’t struggle or judge because they may different in opinions about that things that are not heaven or hell issues.

For instance I attended a church for about 5 years that didn’t celebrated Christmas by putting up a nativity scene in their living room. They felt Christmas trees were unbiblical. I didn’t criticize their convictions/beliefs just because I have never been convicted regarding a Christmas tree and decorations.

There are some matters that people get so caught up in that are not salvation or heaven/hell matters but are there rights of every individual to choose what they want to do.

We must not find ourselves in the seat of a judge regarding such type matters. It doesn’t mean they don’t love God like you do, it just means that they have never been convicted of such things. We must not try to push our own personal convictions on us. If those convictions are salvation/heaven or hell issues, pray that God will deal with them. Let His Word and His Spirit convicted them, but don’t judge them, treat them differently, love them and be the example. Let them see you living out those convictions and pray they will aspire to become more like Christ.

Too many times we see others doing things that we have been convicted of and instead of leading the way by example, we lower ourselves to their convictions and the is when it becomes sin, because in essence we have backed up from what we once held as a conviction.

  25. “So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build each other up.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:19‬ ‭NIRV‬‬

This verse sounds like unity. We are to live in harmony. This will take A lot of humility. Women’s prefer brother and sister. We also must embrace the Kingdom and His will be done and not ours. Because His will is for us to live in peace. Look for the best in your brother and sister. If there’s weakness don’t point it out. Take it to the prayer room.

  26. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

The fact is that we all have different personalities and convictions. This does not mean that one is more highly than the other but it means that we can all glean together, grow together, and receive the blessings of God together. It doesn’t mean that we are not unified. The unity we share in doctrine and principle is strong! As long as we are all allowing God to speak to us individually and corporately we will continue to stand together and see the will of God performed in this region in great ways. This is because we are humble enough to adjust to the corporate direction God gives to our Pastor without offense and grumbling granting us access into the supernatural.

  27. 20-21 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

There’s a quote I’ve heard often while in leadership at the POFW.
“Leaders surrender privileges”, and this scripture is exactly that. A leaders priority is not to do what he/she wants to do, but our priority is the work of God, The Kingdom. And just as the ole song says; you give and take away. At times in leadership we will give up things for Him, and at times we will take away things that will cause others to stumble and fall.

  28. “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬
    Joy in the Holy Ghost.
God is so good, this is what drawn me up when I got the Holy Ghost. I seen so many happy people and I had to know what that was all about. It’s easy to show the world your joy when your filled with Holy Ghost. It’s hard to show people you’re Holy Ghost when you walk around angry. Be fruitful, and show the world Gods glory. Remember if you reach for the world he’ll give you this city.

  29. Romans 14

Without faith it is impossible to please God.

  30. Romans 14:1
    1) HIM that is weak in the faith receive ye, But not to doubtful disputation. (kjv)
    1) Welcome all the Lord’s followers, whose faith is weak. Don’t criticize them for having beliefs that are different from yours. (cev)
    1) Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. (nlt)

Acts 20:35, “… how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak…”
    1 Thess. 5:14, “… support the weak…”

“Him that is weak in faith” we ought to…
    Receive
    Welcome
    Accept
    Support

As a person with strong faith in the Lord, we must be patient with those whose faith is weaker and accept and support them as their faith grows in the Lord. May they grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

  31. Josiah:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Each of us need to have our own prayer life and study and read the Bible. It is essential to have a relationship with God that we can develop in pray and our daily lives. Each of us need our own personal relationship with God. So, let us GO PRAY IN JESUS NAME!

  32. Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

None of this things can be purchased like meat and drink, but rather are given by God. It is His Spirit that fills us and gives us the righteousness, peace and joy. All the money in the world cannot give the peace that only God can give. Its important to be in God’s presence and filled daily that we may live as overcomers. The World itself drains you of life but God is the source of life.

  33. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

When I read this verse, it reminded me that without faith, we can’t please God. If we try to do God’s will or any work without faith, we’re gonna hold ourselves back and may even lead ourselves to unpleasant surprises. In everything we do for the kingdom, we should have faith and expectation that God’s gonna do something through our labor.

  34. [Rom 14:19 NLT] 19 So then, let us aim for HARMONY in the church and try to build each other up.
The KJV uses the word peace where NLT says harmony. The meaning of the Greek word used is peace between individuals, i.e. harmony, concord. Truly this should be the aim of the church and when the church is walking in love, peace, harmony, and building each other up (not tearing each other down) will be the fruit of it. Harmony-the combination of simultaneously sounded musical notes to produce chords and chord progressions having a pleasing effect. When the church members are in harmony with each other, there is a beautiful sound. Another definition of harmony is the quality of forming a pleasing and consistent whole.
Harmony is another word for unity where the individuals don’t lose their individuality but working together accomplish the mission of Jesus.

  35. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteosness and peace and joy through the holy Ghost … Seek Him first all the time . .. Look towards him all the time !!! Its all in him

  36. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock

  37. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

We should not judge one another, God is our only judge. If your brother or sister in Christ is falling short they have to answer for that not you. All our responsibilities to them are to pray and uplift and be there for them to help them get back up when they fall. No one can answer for me or my sins and I can’t answer for anyone else. If we see a child of God falling, instead of gossiping or judging or saying “oh my, can you believe what so and so did, or where I saw them.” We should be asking God to help them.

  38. “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭14:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Perfect example of how we should live our Christian lives.

  39. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
    Romans 14:4 NIV
its not our job or responsibility to judge one another but we should encourage one another and pick up one another. The Lord has given us the power to stand even though we make mistakes.

  40. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Powerful Chapter! We gain nothing about arguing over the little things. In our walk with God, we all grow, understand, communicate, and learn differently. We must be sensitive and know that we can’t judge or condemn anyone but instead help them. We might see things differently because God spoke to us or it was something dealing between you and God. We cant expect to have the same mentality as a baby or a person who has lived more years than us. The devil loves to see disunity so he will try to cause offense over any little thing. So when offense arrives and there is no peace in your heart know that the devil is trying to deceive you.

Follow Peace & Edify Each Other in Jesus Name!

  41. 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Be filled with the Holy Ghost and live righteously in peace! Not only does this put you in good standing, but it edifies the body and build unity!

  42. 10 So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

A very true verse. Don’t think your religion will save you, don’t mock others for their religious belief. It’s your relationship with God that ultimately will save you. It’s not worth debating religion, but it’s worth talking to others about their salvation.
